Daily Update, April 12, 2026

The night before Sunday, I got to bed a bit before two. I'm fairly happy with it, but I would have been happier if it weren't before Sunday, when I get up at 1:45 to have a better chance of getting to church before it starts. {Smile}

After breakfast, my main nurse took me down to church. We arrived during the announcements. I do feel some relief when those are going. I'm still a little late, but I'm not "really late" if the processional hasn't started. We could see they had more students than usual for Sunday school. They'd pulled two tables together to seat everyone. I think it may have been two families instead of the usual one, but they each brought more than one kid. {Smile}

After the service, I collected lunch - both the main meal and the desserts - and took it to the Cook room where we had a meeting of the Daughters of the King. it was smaller than usual, but we had a good discussion going. When it was over, my main nurse took me home. {Smile}

When I got home, I went onto my computer. I browsed videos and started to read comics. Then I paused to quickly add the last bit to Saturday's daily update and share it. Next, I read more comics before I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. Then I went back to my computer, and into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and chatted briefly with Ulty and Jenny's Player. Then I noticed the last call for the later long, large-group event. Next, I joined the group that was gathering for the late-night short, large group event. I realized that Kitten was in it, and we chatted briefly before the event started. It did three runs instead of the usual two, which was neat. It ended at dinnertime, so I stopped, saying goodbye to Kitten, and promising to return after dinner. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game. Kitten was gone, but Dennis was there, so I said hi, and we teamed up with me on the character Kitten designed. We did a few missions of mine, opening one contact with one mission, and doing a few things for a second contact. Now, I think all the contacts I really want to do on this character before they go up in level are done. Dr. Faustus said hi, and joined us after a few. Then Dennis left, and Dr. Faustus and I switched to our moderately low-level characters. We did several of my missions, since we're still trying to catch me up to him. then we said goodnight. I worked on the in-game auction house and storage on the character I'd just played. then I worked on the auction house, storage and crafting on the character Kitten designed, who I'd played earlier. Then I wrote up almost all of this. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, April 11, 2026

The night before Saturday, I got to bed around 2:15. Add getting up a couple of times int he night, instead of just once, and my main nurse greeted me with a gentle suggestion that I take a nap. After a leisurely breakfast and getting ready for my day, I did. I got up a little before lunch and felt much better. {Smile}

I didn't go out or get any notable phone calls. I read Forward Day by day over breakfast. When I got up from my nap, I got onto my computer, and browsed articles and videos right over lunch. I segued into reading comics in the afternoon. Then I wrote up Friday's daily update before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, and said hi to Kitten, but they didn't respond. So, I did a couple of missions by myself on Seameownt, the character they designed for me. Then I did some of the in-game auction house, storage, and crafting before dinner. Over dinner, I read Forward Day by Day again. Partway through dinner, I asked to see the Merrie Monarch Hula Festival, and caught a few halaus' performances. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back onto my computer, and wrote a tiny bit in this. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and finished the auction house and storage on Seameownt. Then I checked my friends again and found that Seb had come on. We talked a bit, and I got Carrie, the character I'd taken to the cafe the night before and started to join him in the bar. However, I ran into Seb's character Marius outside the cafe, taking a smoke break. We started to roleplay, our characters getting to know each other. This continued until Dr. Faustus said hi, explaining they'd finally gotten something together to play again. I found out Seb was busy, so couldn't join us, and pulled out of our conversation in-character. Then I joined Dr. Faustus. We did the last mission needed to unlock a new contact for my melee-ranged, mid-level Olga. Then we started the contact, doing a few of his missions before Dr. Faustus had to leave. I worked on the in-game auction house and storage on that Olga, then checked some other characters who've done that recently. then I wrote more in this, taking breaks to check Cross Stitch World, check out some videos, replace a program that didn't work, and check a few conversations on Discord. I almost finished writing this. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {smile}

Daily Update, April 10, 2026

The night before Friday, I got to bed just barely after 2 am. Still working on earlier, but I'm happier it's no later. {Smile}

After breakfast, my main nurse took me down to Kamana Senior Center for my Ballroom Dance: Rhumba class. I was happy to see both old and new faces, especially of folks I recognize from Wednesday night. I'm beginning to feel more like part of a community. We learned several basic and slightly less basic steps. I thought it was good progress for a first class. After class, my main nurse took me home. I played Cross Stitch World part of the way down, and part of the way back. I also looked stuff up on my phone on the way down and chatted with my main nurse on the way back. {Smile}

Back home, I got on my computer. I browsed videos and read comics right through lunch. Then I wrote much of Thursday's daily update, with breaks to read comics. With one paragraph to go, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I went to the villain supergroup meeting early, to find Seb's Marius and our long-time regular already roleplaying. Seb and I had learned from Discord, the chat server, that our leader couldn't make it. We soon learned as well that Dr. Faustus had their computer back but needed to set up more than they could quickly to join the meeting. I talked with our newest member, and they joined us. The four of us did a couple of my missions from a contact. Then I checked my contacts. I realized I needed to unlock at least one more. So, I switched to individual missions for that. After one, the long-term regular left to watch the Artemis crew livestream. Marius thought about leaving, too, but I found one mission that his character should like. Sure enough, he stayed for it, as did our newest member. Then the meeting broke up. I finished writing my daily update, then checked on my friends who play on City of Heroes: Homecoming. Then I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting, until I broke to eat dinner while watching the Merrie Monarch Hula Festival with my main nurse. {Smile}

I read Forward Day by Day right after dinner. Then I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I said hi to Kitten, but they were tired, so we just talked while I did a mission by myself on Seameownt, the character they designed. Then I did the auction house, storage and crafting that produced. Next, I checked on my friends who play the game. I talked with Seb, and switched characters to join him in cafe roleplaying. On the way to the cafe he was in, I ran into an old friend, who took me to the cafe. At first, I was mostly quiet. I read what others were saying but wasn't sure what to add. Seb was quiet, too, and eventually left. Then someone asked a question that prompted some roleplaying from me. I got invited to the cafe owner's Discord group and settled in there, especially after the roleplaying disbanded because it was late for everyone, including me. After that, I wrote a little of this, then made notes in this. I took with breaks to check Cross Stitch World, browse videos, and read a short comic. I ended the evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, April 9, 2026

The night before Thursday, I went to bed just after 2 am. I got up around 9am, as usual. I'm still working to get a little earlier, but it still needs work. {Smile}

At breakfast, I tried to sign into HMSA for my counselling appointment. They couldn't find my plan type and wanted to charge me over $70. I texted my counselor and ended up closing the window and trying again. I had to get a new invite because the first had expired. With a new invite, it worked. They found my plan and charged me nothing. My counsellor could stay a bit late, but not enough to give me a full hour. I think I got around 50 minutes. We had a good session, including help with a situation I needed to resolve online, and other things I've been working on. {Smile}

After counselling, I read comics online, including over lunch. Then I wrote up Wednesday's daily update. Next, I hopped into City of Heroes: Homecoming to talk with the new gal about some stuff. I also checked on my friends who play the game. After that, I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. Then I went back into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I also checked the in-game auction house and storage. Next, I did some hunts on the moderately low-level character who'd been teaming with one of Dr. Faustus's. When done, I worked on her in-game auction house, storage and crafting. After that, I started some hunts on the older Hobbit, who is mid-level. I broke for dinner while reading Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

After dinner I read comics before I went back into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I did some more hunts on the older Hobbit. I also chatted with Seb on Discord. Then Dennis said hi. we teamed up and did 2 or 3 of his missions on mid-level to moderately high-level characters before we said goodnight. Then I did some of the in-game auction house, storage and crafting. Next, I did more hunts on the older Hobbit before doing auction house and storage on her. I wrote a tiny bit in this. After a break where I checked Cross Stitch World, I made notes in this, pausing to check something in City of Heroes: Homecoming before I finished making notes in this. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, April 8, 2026

The night before Wednesday, I got to bed a little after 2 am, in part because of getting drawn into watching a long ad with an interesting story. I eventually quit it because of the time, but I'd already spent more time on it than I meant to. I got up at the usual 9am and didn't really need a nap or much rest during the day. {Smile}

Before lunch, my main nurse and I went down to my doctor's office. I asked the receptionist for a prescription for medicine for an UTI, since I seem to have another one. she promised to call one into Safeway. I asked about something for a swollen eye, but I'd need the doctor or this nurse practitioner for that, and they're both on vacation. then my main nurse asked for a new appointment, since the one he made conflicts with one of my dance classes. That the receptionist was happy to help with. After we were done, my main nurse and I went home again. {Smile}

After dinner, my main nurse took me out again, this time to the Church of the Holy Cross, where my Ballroom Dance: Bolero and Ballroom Dance: Country Two Step meet. They both went well. We're still working on basic steps in both dances, but we're beginning to add more variety. Afterwards, my main nurse took me home, quite happy with how I got out, mingled, and exercised. I played Cross Stitch World both down and back. {Smile}

During breakfast, I read Forward Day by Day. Then, after the trip to my doctor's office, I got onto my computer. I browsed videos, then comics over lunch. I also started writing more of Tuesday's daily update. I found it hard to concentrate on my update with comics distracting me into the afternoon, but I finally finished. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I started with the in-game auction house and storage on Hezabell, my higher-level villain supergroup member. I began talking with Seb, and we soon teamed up, and did some missions from a, contact, rather than the one-off missions we've been doing. Phonso joined us for the last few missions. The three of us finished the contact right before dinner. {Smile}

After I got back from class, I went back onto my computer. I answered Nox on Discord, the chat server. I also said hi Dr. Faustus on Discord. They replied, letting me know they wouldn't be in City of Heroes: Homecoming that night. I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting. Near the end, Seb said hi. We talked, then got together for roleplaying. I began writing in this on the side, then making notes in it on the side. Eventually we finished, saying goodnight. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, April 7. 2026

The night before Tuesday, I got to bed a few minutes after 1:45 am. I got up at 9 am as usual. That's the best I've managed on a regular night recently, but if I get to bed before 1:45, I'll move my bedtime back a bit. I'd like to move my bedtime back to 8:45 or even 8:30, as long as I don't short myself of being down for 7 hours. {Smile}

Late in the morning, my substitute relief nurse took me down to Kamana Senior Center for my Creative Writing Class. I thought it went well. I'm beginning to feel more comfortable making plans for my story closer to what I originally meant for it. That developed a little further in class. I hope it will continue soon. My substitute relief nurse came and took me home after class. On my rides down to class and back, I checked Discord, the chat server, replying to a couple of things. {Smile}

I read Forward Day by Day during breakfast. Then I ate lunch during class. After breakfast, I got onto my computer, and finished Monday's daily update. When I got home, I got onto my computer and checked Discord again. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I worked on the in-game auction house and storage until a stranger asked me to team with them. I joined thinking to explain I couldn't stay, but they asked for help, and something told me they needed it. Despite it being close to my teen supergroup meeting, I said I'd try. I did most of a mission before I realized they were doing a small map the really slow way. By then, they'd gotten three others to help, so I felt better about leaving. I excused myself and went to teen supergroup meeting half an hour late, but I had let them know that I was helping something, which seemed typical for our supergroup. The folks already there insisted I wasn't late, including Ulty, Jenny's Player, Nyxy, the usual guy, the new gal, and a couple of other gals. We started a story-arc made by Nyxy. We did a couple of missions, including one with a long map. Then we finished for the day, going to the supergroup's base to roleplay. Some left as it was late for them. Others left when it did get late for them. I had my character fall asleep for a nap when dinner was ready. {Smile}

After dinner, I had my character wake up. I found that more had left, but not all, so I rejoined the roleplaying. I checked on my friends in lull. The rest left not too long after, one or two to go to bed, and at least two to do other things. I worked on the in-game auction house and storage and checked on my friends who play the game. Then I wrote a little in this until Dr. Faustus said hi while I checked in City of Heroes: Homecoming. I teamed up with him and Seb, with me on Hezabell, my higher-level villain supergroup member. We did many individual missions, unlocking two contacts that can be unlocked that way, with a gal who joined the supergroup fairly recently joining our team along the way. We stopped just before unlocking the last contact I can unlock the way we're doing it for now. Seb and I roleplayed afterwards. I also wrote some more in this and made a fair bit of notes in this as well. I also checked on my friends who play the game again, before we finished roleplaying. I got distracted by a long advertisement while shutting down, which didn't help me get to bed earlier. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King.

Daily Update, April 6, 2026

The night before Monday, I got to bed several minutes before 2 am. that's a good time, but I would like to work it a bit earlier. {Smile}

After breakfast, my substitute relief nurse took me down to Aunty Sally's Luau Hale for my first timer's Line Dancing class, but the building was closed. I remembered that it's Merrie Monarch Week, and that I had a list of locations for the session. I looked it up, and it was at the YBA Hall, near Sangha Hall. My substitute relief nurse took me there and recognized the building before I did. Class was already started, but I soon joined them. It went quite well, I think. {Smile}

Afterwards, we ran several errands my substitute relief nurse needed. One of the last was a stop at the ice cream parlor in Liliu'okalani Gardens. I picked out a calamansi cream popsicle, a liliko'i cream popsicle, and a vanilla cream popsicle. I ate the calamansi cream popsicle on the way home. {Smile}

After we got back home, I got onto my computer. I tried to write my daily update but kept getting drawn into watching videos and reading web comics. I finally gave up and went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and started talking with Dennis and Seb before I was done. I ended up joining Dennis on a giant monster hunting team that got several monsters in a row before breaking up just when I was going to quit for dinner anyway. I read Forward Day by Day for both Sunday and Monday over dinner, since I realized I'd missed it entirely on Sunday. {Smile}

After dinner I finished writing up Sunday's daily update. It was long enough I had to take breaks, but I tried to keep them short. When I was done, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, and talked with Dr. Faustus, Seb, and the new gal in both my supergroups. I teamed up with Dr. Faustus and Seb, with me on my higher-level villain supergroup member. Kitten soon joined us. We did several individual missions to unlock contacts. We got one unlocked, and another on the way to being unlocked. Seb left first. then Kitten left when they were too tired. Dr. Faustus left then, too, since it was late. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage, and crafting on two characters, the one I'd been playing, and one with a long-term crafting project. Then I did a bit of hunting on the gal with the long-term crafting project, followed by a little more storage on her. Next, I wrote much of this. I paused a few times, to read a comic, read part of an article, and check out Cross Stitch World. After the last, I made notes in this. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King.

Daily Update, April 5, 2026

Happy Easter! If you celebrate it either religiously or secularly, that is. If not, I hope you had a nice day. {Smile}

The night before Sunday, I actually got to bed a little before 1:45. I began to set my alarm clock earlier than 8:30 am but chickened out. I didn't want to make myself sick trying to get up too early. I'm unusually sensitive to that. If I get up an hour earlier all at once, I can give myself two days of jetlag-like symptoms. {smile}

After breakfast, my main nurse took me to church. We arrived just before the offertory, which is just before the part with the Holy Communion itself in it. The service was so far along because they started at 9 am instead of 10 am. They did that because their early service was 6 am for a sunrise service, instead of our usual 8 am. I enjoyed the part of the service I was there for and saved the service sheet to read parts I'd missed, especially the lessons. {Smile}

After the service, we had a large lunch on the lanai. Up walked my cousin Babs, and introduced he hanai granddaughter, and another girl. I'm not sure if the second young woman is another hanai granddaughter, or something else. Anyway, we sat together, and visited, though the second young woman left to sit in the car when the crowd got to be too much for her. None of them like crowds, and it was crowded on the lanai. The one who stayed is very interested in becoming an Episcopalian. I put her in touch with our deacon, since we're between priests. After lunch my main nurse took me home. {Smile}

A couple of hours after we got back from church, my main nurse took me to Laurie's and Lindy's house because Laurie invited me and several others to an Easter Dinner party at 2pm. I took the cake platter we got the day before. I ate so much on top of that large lunch earlier that I had to loosen my abdominal binder, a kind of medical corset I wear. I stayed to the end, then called my main nurse who came and got me, taking me home. We promised I didn't stay long after the rest. I think I stayed just long enough to ease the transition to being alone again. {Smile}

I played Cross Stitch World on the way down to church and back. After church, I got onto my computer. I barely browsed on the internet, instead concentrating on writing up Saturday's daily update. Then I read comics until I got ready for the party. I played Cross Stitch World on the way down to the party and back. After the party, I got onto my computer. I read a few comics and replied to Nox on Discord. Then I broke to clean myself up with the help of my main nurse. I skipped dinner and nighttime snacks because I was too full between the two large meals earlier. {Smile}

After cleaning myself up, I got back to my computer, and straight into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I started to check on my friends who play the game but got sidetracked into talking with friends pretty quickly. I said goodnight to Dennis, who was getting ready to leave. I said hi to Ulty and Jenny's player. I chatted a bit with Divi, too. I also talked with Dr. Faustus, Seb, and the newest member of our villain supergroup. The last three and I teamed up, with me on the ranged version of Olga, my lower-level villain supergroup member. We did two of my story arcs that are really meant for heroes, but we put a more selfish spin on our actions. Then Dr. Faustus and Seb left, saying goodnight. I talked with the new gal a fair while before we both left because it was late. Next, I wrote a bit of this, then switched to making notes in this. I took one break for Cross Stitch World, and a short break for short comics. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Sunday, April 5, 2026

Daily Update, April 4, 2026

The night before Saturday, I once again got to bed closer to 2:15 am than I'd like. At least I got up around nine as usual. I was a little tired later, or maybe it was hot. I drowsed on the way out, but had less trouble in air conditioning, and as I tried to cool off a bit. {Smile}

I think I might have a urinary tract infection. I've taken some medicine I have on hand, and plan to call the doctor on Monday. {smile}

A while after lunch, my main nurse and I went out. Our first stop was the ice cream parlor in Liliu'okalani Gardens, where I got a chocolate fudge popsicle. I ate it on the way to Prince Kuhio Plaza, where we walked around four large stores and all the aisles between stores. Then we went to Walmart, where I waited in the car while my main nurse picked up a few things. Next, we went on to KTA, a local grocery chain. We picked out a cake platter where it's all cut and laid out in muffin cups, to be easy for a buffet. We thought I could take it to an Easter afternoon dinner I'm invited to by a couple of friends. After that, we went home. Most legs of the trip were a mix of Cross Stitch World and drowsing, except for the leg where I was far too busy eating that popsicle to do either. {SMILE}

Over breakfast, I read Forward Day by Day. After breakfast, I got onto my computer and browsed articles. Then I tightened a scene in my story. Next, I wrote up Friday's daily update. I read comics over lunch. After that, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and talked with Seb. I also checked the in-game auction house. Then I broke to go out with my main nurse. When I got back, I got back onto computer and into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and talked with Seb some more while checking the in-game auction house. Phonso invited me to a pair of high-level taskforces that ran right up to dinner time. {Smile}

After dinner, I went bac into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, then checked the in-game auction house. Ulty invited me to a friend's-only run of that pair of high-level taskforces. I happily joined, and we ran them. I think we accidentally worked on a badge we all had already. They blamed me for asking for it. I just asked if anyone needed it. I said I had them all already. Anyway, afterwards, the team broke up. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting until Dr. Faustus said hi. We teamed up with me on Hezabell, my higher-level villain supergroup member. We worked on a few of my Hezabell's contacts, including unlocking one, and finding that I can unlock more in an easier way than I feared. Then we said goodnight, and I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting, Next, I wrote a bit in this, then shifted to making notes in this. I took a break to check and play Cross Stitch world, but not for all that long. I browsed articles and videos before I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, April 3, 2026

The night before Friday, I got into bed closer to 2:15 than I like. However, I didn't get up until around 10:45 am. Yes, that late, I'd woken up, but was lying in bed, waiting for the alarm when my main nurse checked on me when he could. Fortunately, I'd only missed my alarm, not come down with a migraine, blood sugar trouble, or core temperature trouble, all of which tends to be better treated earlier than later. but I was good. {Smile}

I read Forward Day by Day at breakfast, but only once. Usually I wait, and read it again, to help it sink in. After breakfast, I got onto my computer. I browsed videos, largely writing advice videos, not knowing what I was searching for. Then I tried writing Thursday's daily update but kept getting drawn back to writing advice videos until I realized something that's been bothering me about my story. I wrote it up, and shared where I share my updates. Next, I got Olga, the higher-level, melee-ranged Olga, and dashed to my villain supergroup meeting, arriving just on time. Dr. Faustus and Seb were already there. We started to roleplay. Out leader arrived just after me. The other regular member arrived and apologized for being a bit late. We began working on Olga's story arc we'd worked on last week, doing a longer mission. The new member said hi near the end of the first mission and joined us slightly after we'd begun a second and final mission to my story arc. We restarted so she could do the whole mission with us. This finished the arc. I got one of the two badges you can get from that arc. After that, we got ready to do a mission Dr. Faustus had when Dr. Faustus disconnected. They said on Discord they wouldn't bother to try to come back because it was late. Our leader left too, then our long-time regular member left as well. Then Seb, went to roleplay with a friend. The other new member and I joined them in roleplaying our characters meeting and talking until Seb's friend left. Next, we three talked out-of-character until I left for dinner. {Smile}

During dinner, I read Forward Day by Day again. After dinner, I finished Thursday's daily update and read some web comics before I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I did a little weekend auction house on a few characters. I checked on my friends who play the game and said hi and talked with Seb and Dennis separately. Then I teamed up with Dennis. We did some of his missions. Next, we talked some more before we said goodnight. After that, I said hi to Divi and Ulty. I chatted with Ulty first. Then I chatted with Divi before joining them in an April Fools event league that went for a while, then paused, then did a little more. Next, Divi left, as I did soon after so I could work on the in-game auction house and storage. After that, I hunted on a moderately low-level character, then did a bit more of the in-game auction house and storage. Then I wrote in this and made notes in it, taking a break for a little Cross Stitch World. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, April 2, 2026

The night before Thursday, I got to bed several minutes before 2 am. I'm relieved I'm back before 2 am. I do think I feel better rested, even if it's just a few minutes. I can't help hoping to move it further back. before the pandemic, I'd worked back to 8 am, which gave me more of a morning to do stuff in, but my bedtime slipped forward during the pandemic, and I'm having a terrible time getting it to move back again. {smile}

I didn't have video counselling because my counselor was unavailable, so I read Forward Day by Day during breakfast, and got onto my computer after breakfast. I browsed videos into lunch, then began writing up Wednesday's daily update during lunch. I took many to read web comics, running well into the afternoon. When I finished, I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. Next, I went into City of heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I started talking with Kitten. We got together and did a bit of an April Fool's special event before we joined the late-night short, large-group event and ran it. It started early enough, and went fast enough, it ended just before I was called to dinner. {Smile}

After dinner, I read a few comics. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Next, I said hi to Dr. Faustus and Seb on Discord. I also talked with Kitten in the game. Kitten and I teamed up and did a bit of an April Fool's event. After that we tried to do a story arc, but we had to restart because my difficulty settings were too high. Also, Dennis had said hi, but Kitten got pulled away, so I did the story arc with Dennis. It took long, but we both got a badge, and Dennis got a second badge I'd asked for on his behalf. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting as well as game money juggling on a few characters. Then I wrote in this. I switched to making notes in this, with breaks for Cross Stitch World, a couple of comics, and a little web browsing. I finished my evening by saying The Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

My daily update will be late... Sorry, but...

 {chuckles} My daily update will be late. There is a reason for this...

I've been watching a lot of writing advice videos recently, and I just realized a problem with the story I've been working on, "Snow in Hawai'i." Whether I read parts of it to folks, or just talk about the story, folks get excited. They talk about loving the relationships in the story and want to see it turned into a picture book for children...

...and that's where I hit a problem. It's not kids who get excited about the story. Kids aren't getting invested in the story. It's grandparents, great-grandparents, and grand- and great-grand- aunts and uncles. That partly shows who I'm around. My creative writing class is strictly for older people. When I enquired before my 55th birthday, they said I had to wait until I was 55 when I registered. The session where I turned 55 a week or two after registration closed, I was too young. I also talk about it at church, where our congregation is largely older. Even there, it's not our "young people under 50" who are getting excited and joining the conversations, let alone our few actual kids. Most of the folks who are getting interested in and even excited about my story are older than me, and I'm 57.

And... I'm concerned. If I really want to make this story appeal to children - and cut it down to a good length for a picture book - I'll have to tighten the focus on the kids, cutting out at least one conversation pretty much entirely, and cutting others drastically back. Which... I'm afraid will lessen the excitement and the investment I see in the folks who currently love the story.

That can't be right, can it? When you find an honest and strong interest in a story, you don't cut that audience off and go court an audience which can't be bothered with it. That... that doesn't scan. It doesn't make sense at all.

Help?

Daily Update, April 1, 2026

I hope you had a good April Fool's Day, and that's no joke. {SMILE}

The night before Wednesday, I got to bed a bit before 2 am. I was hoping for earlier, but I'm happy I was back before two after a few days there. {Smile}

After a slightly early dinner, my main nurse took me down to Holy Cross Church. There, I signed up for Ballroom Dance: Bolero, and Ballroom Dance; Country Two-Step. I met some new folks and reconnected with folks from the last session and other classes. I really enjoyed the night. We learned some simple steps for each of the two dances. Bolero was the same timing as Rhumba last time, but Country Two-step was distinctly different from other dances I've done. My main nurse took me home afterwards. {Smile}

After breakfast. I wrote up my daily update. Then I read comics through lunch and into the afternoon. I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming a bit early. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I started to collect badges on Aneira, my moderately high-level teen supergroup member. the supergroup's new member said hi while I was doing that. We started to talk. I stopped the badges so we could team up to do a story arc she had. Next, we worked on a badge she needed. When that was winding down, we started roleplaying. That stopped abruptly when I was called to dinner. {Smile}

After class, I read a couple of comics before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, then got on the higher-level, melee-ranged Olga, who's the lower-level villain supergroup member. I said hi to Dr. Faustus, and we teamed up. We did a story arc that Olga had. Next, we said goodnight. I worked on the in-game auction house and storage on Olga, then Aneira. After that, I wrote a little in this before shifting to making notes in this. I took a few breaks for Cross Stitch World and web browsing, especially videos. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 31, 2026

The night before Tuesday, I got to bed a few minutes after 2. It's slipping later again, when I do want it earlier. I'll have to focus on changing it more... and try to fight the tendency to feel there's more time. Because that's part of the problem: I keep thinking in terms of the times I'm used to - the new times, ut that lets me miss them. I need newer times: earlier goals. {Smile}

After breakfast, my substitute relief nurse took me down to Kamana Senior Center for my first creative writing class of the new session. We have some new students, and many returning faces, too. I really enjoyed it, though I do need clearer goals for this story, as well as a pipeline with more stories down the line. {Smile}

After class, I met the secretary of the nursing company in the parking lot at Kamana Senior Center. I paid her for the next month. Then my substitute relief nurse ran an errand before we went to the ice cream parlor in Liliu'okalani Gardens. I picked out two popsicles, sweet potato and chocolate fudge. I ate the sweet potato on the way home. I was in a mood for pulpy, and sweet potato satisfies that far better than chocolate does. {Smile}

Over breakfast, I read forward Day by Day. Then, when I got home after my class and everything, I got onto my computer. I browsed articles and videos on the net. Then I dashed into City of Heroes: Homecoming just before the teen supergroup meeting. At the meeting, I started to roleplay with Nyxy's character, who was sleeping on the floor like she often does. Ulty, Jenny's Player, and a couple of others soon arrived. Somewhere in there I checked on my friends who play the game. They decided to roleplay in a base with fancy pools. We roleplayed a little exploring, then a lot of relaxing and talking. Ulty left early. The rest of the group broke up right around my dinner time. {Smile}

After dinner, I wrote up Monday's daily update. Then I read two comics before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and talked with Seb. Next, I started collecting badges on the character who is reacquiring the title of ninth-best badge collector, talking with Seb another time or two while I did. I stopped when Divi said hi and invited me to a taskforce with an unusual theme: using a power that's usually very poor but has funny effects that make it work better for a short while in honor of April Fool's Day. Dr. Faustus said hi a couple of times while I was in that taskforce, and Seb said goodnight while I was in it. The taskforce finished about the time that Dr. Faustus and I say goodnight these days, so I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on that character. Then I did one mission on a high-level character in the early endgame before doing the in-game auction house and storage on her. Next, I did a little writing in this, with a break that included Cross Stitch World. After that I made notes in this, with a break to add an earlier alarm. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 30, 2026

The night before Monday, I got to bed just a minute or two after 2 am. So that's barely late again. I got ideas for moving it earlier, too. I treated blood sugar trouble later, but I didn't take a nap. {Smile}

A while after breakfast, my substitute relief nurse took me down to Hilo Daijingu for the first First-Timer's Line Dancing class of the next session of the Elderly Activities division of Hawai'i County. I got there a little early, but I think it started a bit late. Then again, a lot were paying for the next session, including me. I did talk to the teacher's assistant for my Friday Ballroom Dancing class. She's also in Wednesday's Ballroom Dancing, and my Frist Timer's Line Dancing class. She warned me that Friday's class doesn't' start until next week, because Friday is a state holiday. However, Wednesday's class will start this Wednesday, even though it's sponsored by a different group. The class went pretty nicely, I thought. My substitute relief nurse picked me up and took me home afterwards. I checked things on my phone on the way down and played Cross Stitch World on the way back. {Smile}

When I got back from church, I got onto my computer. I browsed articles and videos and read comics on the web. Then I wrote up my daily update more slowly than I hoped to. I got into City of Heroes: Homecoming after I was done with the update. I checked on my friends who play the game and said hi to Seb and Ulty. After talking a bit, I spotted late-night short, large-group event, and joined it on a high-level character. When it was full, we ran it. Then I got a snack. I tried a regular mission, but it was hard. I paused to check on my friends who play the game again and found Dennis this time. We teamed up, and I helped him with a couple of badges, including running a mission to finish getting the second. Next, he went to bed, {Smile}

I fixed a bun and a frittata because dinner was late. I collected some badges while eating, including the rest of dinner when it was finally ready. Dr. Faustus said hi, and we chatted while I finished dinner. I spotted a chance to get a badge my second-best badge collector needed. I got it and updated her record. Then Dr. Faustus and I got together on mid-level characters. We did all of one contact I had. Next, we said goodnight. I worked on the in-game auction house and storage on both characters I'd played that day. After that, I wrote a little of this. Then I read a webcomic. Next, I checked badges on City of Heroes: Homecoming and worked on one on my second-best badge collector. After that, I made notes in this. I ended my evening with reading Forward Day by Day, since I hadn't earlier. I also said the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 29, 2026

The night before Sunday, I managed to get into bed so close to 2 am, I don't know which side it is. I think at 2 am is most accurate. Despite this, I had relatively little trouble with tiredness, though I did treat blood sugar trouble a few times, especially in the late afternoon and early evening. {Smile}

After breakfast, my main nurse took me down to church. We got in and seated in time to be called back out for the blessing of the palms, followed by the procession of the palms where we took our seats again. It was a nice service. I particularly liked the dramatic gospel reading. We read the story from Palm Sunday through all preparations for Easter day, with different people reading different parts. There were even a couple of lines for the crowd, read by the whole congregation. {Smile}

After the service, we had lunch on the lanai. Or rather, we had potato salad, nuts, and several desserts on the lanai, with the vegetables and most of the protein having to wait until later. I did catch the gal who promised to look over my Hawaiian. I showed her the out-takes, and she started to tell me what I needed, but I had trouble writing it down, so she gave me her email address so I could email it to her later. Also, Laurie invited me to Easter dinner with her and her husband. Afterwards, my main nurse took me home. {Smile}

Back home, I got onto my computer. I browsed the web, looking at a few articles, but mostly reading comics over the rest of lunch. Then I wrote up Saturday's daily update. Next, I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. After that, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked the in-game auction house on a few characters. Then I checked on my friends who play the game. I talked with Kitten and was starting to pick a mission when Kitten suggested we join the late-night short, large-group event. We joined and waited for it to begin. It went nicely, though I was a bit late for dinner. Over dinner, I read Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

After dinner, I returned to my computer. I read a few short comics. I also talked with Kitten on Discord, the chat server. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I worked on the in-game auction house and storage on the character who'd done the late-night short, large-group event. then I collected some badges on the gal who seems to be the head of the pack, hoping to get her closer to being clearly the 9th best badge collector again. After a while, Dr. Faustus said hi. I got Olga, and we teamed up. We did some of her missions, working on a contact we'd started. We also did some light roleplaying and talked out-of-character about a problem I was having with her character. We discussed this both in the game and on Discord. Seb, the group leader, and Dr. Faustus chimed in over the course of the day, but the discussion really got going in the evening. They helped me find how to make her a kind of evil suitable to our villain supergroup when she's started to develop empathy on her own. Dr. Faustus and I finished the contact, and I got but didn't start another contact. Then Doc left. I checked some comics, and worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting. Next, I collected some more badges on the head of the pack, who is getting pretty close to 9th best badge collector again, but I'll feel a little better calling that when she gets a little better lead on the next in line. After that I wrote in this, then made notes in this. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 28, 2026

The night before Saturday, I got distracted online, so I was running slightly late. That became later when I went to fetch a different nightgown and ended up finding and gathering all the recently washed robes. I managed to get into bed only a minute or two after 2 am, but it was after 2 am. The next morning, I woke up feeling slightly tired. I rested after breakfast for over half an hour, and felt much better after that, though I admit I did treat blood sugar trouble which can cause tiredness and sleepiness both before and after dinner. {smile}

After my nap, my main nurse and I went down to Prince Kuhio Plaza. We walked around all the corridors, and four large stores, too. Then my main nurse took me back home. I read some online fiction on the way home. {Smile}

Over breakfast, I read Forward Day by Day. Then when we got home after going to Price Kuhio Plaza, I got onto my computer. I discovered that the website I read on my phone is blocked on my computer. Apparently, the website owner banned the IP address provided by Spectrum Internet. I read articles and comics right over lunch and into the afternoon. Next, I wrote up Friday's daily update, with a pause to talk with Kitten on Discord, the chat server, before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. and checked on my friends who play the game. I talked with Kitten, and joined them in the later short, large-group event. After that, both Kitten and I joined a group that was getting badges. Kitten got the last two badges they currently can on their main badge collector, while I got three badges on my best badge collector. Homecoming will put out more badges, but they're unlikely to be as hard to get as some Kitten has gotten, especially the last few. We got done just before dinner. {Smile}

After dinner, I read comics before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, talking with Dennis, who was teamed with Kitten in something I couldn't join. They finished as I switched to another character, thinking they'd be longer. I switched right back to my best badge collector and did two missions with them before they both left for bed. Then I played some more before working on the auction house, storage, and crafting on that character. Next, I checked my second and third best badge collectors before I found some auction house and storage to do on my fourth best and fifth best badge collectors. I noticed someone advertising a quick and easy trial. I joined on my fourth best badge collector and ran it. After that, I did more auction house and storage on my fourth best badge collector. Then Dr. Faustus said hi, and we teamed up on moderately low-level characters. We're still working through my Octavia's missions to catch her up to Dr. Faustus's character. After Dr. Faustus left, I wrote in this. I also talked with Seb on Discord. Then I did some auction house, storage and crafting on my sixth best badge collector, mixed with notes in this. Next, I composed a note to my villain supergroup about tweaking Olga, who's started to go in a direction I'm really not interested in roleplaying. After that, I did more auction house, storage and crafting on my seventh best badge collector/ I checked my eighth best badge collector, who didn't need any work and the head of the pack behind my ranked badge collectors, who needs too much to do this close to bedtime. Then I finished notes in this. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, St. Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 27, 2026

The night before Friday, I got to bed a while before 2 am. I slept well and felt rested when I got up. I'm liking this schedule. {Smile}

My housekeeper came in the afternoon and worked a few hours straight. The house is definitely better for her attentions. {Smile}

Over breakfast, I read Forward Day by Day. After breakfast, I went onto my computer. I browsed a couple of articles. Then I wrote up my daily update. Next, I browsed some articles and videos, but mostly comics, continuing right over lunch and into the afternoon. After a while, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I looked into the weekend auction house on a few characters, last on the higher-level, melee-ranged Olga. Then I checked on my friends who play the game. Next, I went to the villain supergroup meeting early on the same character. I got there first, but Seb soon settled in. We started to roleplay. Dr. Faustus, our leader, the long-time regular, and an alternate character of the new gal from the teen supergroup also came. We roleplayed a little. I mentioned a story arc I thought they'd like to do. They didn't think it would work like I hoped, but they liked the arc and started it. We ran over half of it before we quit because the leader and Doc had to go. The rest split up fairly quickly with the new gal staying longest. She left while I'd stepped away. When I got back, I joined her and a friend on a different mid-level villain for a couple of their missions. After that, her friend left. The new gal and I both were close to dinner, but she had a question, so we talked a while before breaking for dinner. {Smile}

After dinner, I read several comics before I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked auction house, storage and crafting on the Olga and the other character I played before dinner. Then I checked on my friends who play the game. I talked to Dennis just before he left for the night. I also talked to Kitten. We teamed up and tried to do two missions. The first mission was so easy, I made the next harder. Unfortunately, it was too much harder, even when I cut down the difficulty a couple of times. Still, we eventually finished. Next, we talked before we said goodnight. After that, I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting, followed by writing a little in this. I broke to do more auction house, crafting, and storage in City of Heroes: Homecoming before starting to make notes in this. I paused often to work on badges for my fourth-best through 8th-best badges collectors. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 26, 2026

The night before Thursday, I got to bed a little before 2 am. Then I got up just after 9 am, as usual. I'm really enjoying this new schedule. I think I do feel better rested. {Smile}

Over breakfast, I started my video counselling session. We felt out what to talk about, but I think it was a helpful session overall. That's the important thing, I think. {Smile}

After counselling, I got out the story I'm writing and copied the Hawaiian into a new file In Google Documents. Then I read comics over lunch. next, I finished writing up Wednesday's daily update. After that, cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. Then I answered Nox on Discord, the chat server, before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and said hi to Dennis. He was teaming with a good friend. I joined them and got the same story arc on the ranged version of Olga, who belongs to the villain supergroup. Unfortunately, I entered his mission too late to get credit for completing it, even though I had it. Dennis's friend left after that mission. Then Dennis kindly did my version of the first mission to catch me up. This story arc only has three missions, and we were able to do both of the latter two at once, so both of us got credit for the same run-through. Next, Dennis left for bed. I did some auction house and storage before I left to eat dinner, reading Forward Day by Day as I did. {Smile}

After dinner, I wrote a tiny bit of this, then read a comic and watched a few videos. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, and said hi to Dr. Faustus, Seb, Ulty, and the new gal. After I talked with each, I got together with Dr. Faustus, Seb, the new gal, and a friend of Seb's, with me on the higher level, melee-ranged version of Olga, my lower-level villain supergroup member. We soon added a friend of the new gal. We finished the contact I'd saved to finish with the new gal. then we finished the story arc I'd started instead of continuing it. Next, we started a sequel story arc. Along the way, Seb's friend left. Seb, the new gal, and the new gal's friend left together, after the last story arc was clearly started. Doc and I did one more mission while I asked about something I'd been debating about for Olga. After that, Dr Faustus left, and I did minimal storage on this Olga. Then I asked a few questions on the villain supergroup's Discord concerning what I'd asked Doc about. Next, I wrote in this. I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked both versions of Olga, since those are the characters that I'd played. I did some crafting, auction house, and storage on the higher, ranged version of Olga. After that, I talked with Divi in City of Heroes: Homecoming. Then I made notes in this, with a brief look at Discord. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 25, 2026

The night before Wednesday, I got to bed a little more before 2 am and again felt better rested than I'm used to. I'm surprised that really only several minutes make that much difference, but I'll take it. {Smile}

Over breakfast, I read Forward Day by Day. After breakfast, I wrote up Tuesday's daily update with relatively few and short breaks. It was long, so took most of the morning. Then I relaxed with comics over lunch. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game. I talked with Jenny's player, asking some questions, but she couldn't help me. After that, I got some badges for Aneira, my moderately high-level teen supergroup member. They're a collection that, when complete, improves her in a couple of ways. I'd gotten some already. I got two more on my own, then took a break. Pierogies had said hi while I was away, so when I got back, I said hi to him. He eventually responded. We talked a little, and he said he'd like to help me with that last badge, for defeating a particular giant monster the first time. We summoned the monster. I got an acquaintance to join us, but they went quiet, then disappeared just as we summoned the monster and started fighting. We recruited more and got a high-level character to lead the team. We got the giant monster, then the team broke up. Pierogies was tired, so we said goodnight, and he left. Then I got Seameownt, the mid-level character Kitten designed. I began to work on that same collection of badges and a similar collection on them. I got the easier badges in both collections first. Next, I started on an easy badge takes longer. I ran into Dennis. We teamed up, and he helped me with it until he had to go to bed. I went to dinner, since it was time. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, and talked with Ulty, who was able to answer the questions Jenny's Player couldn't. Also, Seb said hi, and we chatted a little. I began to work on the badges on Seameownt again. Dr. Faustus said hi, so I got Seb's attention, and invited him to join us. The three of us continued the story arc we'd begun the previous night. Then the player of the newest member of the teen supergroup said hi. We chatted, and I invited her to join us. She did, and we played with light roleplaying through the rest of the contact, and into a sequel contact. We broke to join a zombie apocalypse. After the apocalypse, one guy from the zombie apocalypse stayed. The new gal said she needed to leave, and I encouraged Dr. Faustus to invite her to our villain supergroup, which he did, provisionally. Next, she left, wishing she could continue that arc with us. I switched to a different story arc for a few missions, until it got late enough, the team broke up. I worked on auction house storage and crafting on the three characters I'd played over the day, one after another. I also wrote maybe half of this. Shortly after I finished on City of Heroes: Homecoming, I switched to making notes in this. I only watched a couple of short videos in breaks and read one short story by a classmate in my Creative Writing class. After I finished the notes, I checked Cross Stitch World. I said the Lord's Prayer, St. Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King to finish my evening. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 24, 2026

The night before Tuesday, I got to bed just before 2am. Then I got up at 9 am like usual. I was mildly stunned to realize that I felt like I had gotten enough rest. I didn't realize I wasn't getting enough rest until I felt this way. I think that I should try to get a little more than that, so I have the option of getting up a second time in the night, which I didn't last night. I'll definitely try to get to bed at least before two, and if possible, a little earlier. I didn't have much trouble with tiredness during the day. Even when I suspected blood sugar trouble, it was mostly other symptoms. {Smile}

After breakfast, my substitute relief nurse took me to Safeway. I picked up some prescriptions while she started shopping. When I was done, I looked for her and joined her in walking around the store for exercise, so I've actually got some, despite this not being a week with dance classes. After my nurse finished shopping, we ran an errand or two of hers before going home. {Smile}

In the afternoon, I was distracted by an annoying, high-pitched squeal that seemed to come from my hearing aids. Turning them off or taking them off stopped the squeal for that ear, but it also stopped all the sounds the hearing aid was picking up, leaving the ear feeling lifeless, and me feeling disconnected from the world. Changing the tips and even the earbuds didn't work. I was contemplating getting an appointment to get them checked when a trip to the bathroom stopped the squeal. It started up again when I returned to the computer room. Looking around, I realized that the battery backup was blinking red and green. I turned everything off, including that battery backup, and turned it back on. The squeal stopped and didn't reappear. {relieved smile}

Over breakfast, I read Forward Day by Day. Then after we got home from our shopping trip, I added one thing to Monday's daily update and shared it. Next, I browsed articles, videos and comics over lunch and into the afternoon. I started to go into City of Heroes: Homecoming. However, that's when I was distracted by an annoying, high-pitched squeal that seemed to come from my hearing aids but turned out to be from the battery backup. With that settled, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game. I went to the teen supergroup slightly early on Aneira, my higher-level member. I found Nyxy and another gal already role-playing, and no note from the leader about her not coming. Sure enough, Ulty, who's our leader, and Jenny's player, her close friend and assistant, both showed up soon after I did. as did another gal and the guy who usually comes, and a prospective new member who was on a brand-new character who must have been made pretty recently. With the new one so low-level, we didn't play the regular game. Instead, we roleplayed visiting a base where we picked out pizzas. Then we played a life-sized simple board game with our characters as the markers. When the first won, we gathered at the end. Some took pictures, but I forgot. After that, we roleplayed eating pizza together as we wound down. I chatted a little with Seb and Kitten privately while the roleplaying wound down. I think Seb said hi when he came in. I ate dinner at my computer while we were still roleplaying, so I didn't have to leave early. {Smile}

After the meeting broke up, I checked on my friends who play the game. I also broke to respond to Nox on Discord and leave a note for Dr. Faustus there. Then I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I worked on a few badges for Aneira Until Dr. Faustus said hi. I switched to my melee-ranged Olga, the higher-level version of my lower-level villain supergroup member. We ran a story arc of hers. A friend of Seb's and a friend of mine who said "hi" joined us partway through, though my friend left after one mission. When that story arc was done, we started the next story arc. Dr. Faustus, Seb, and Seb's friend all stayed until we broke up at a good time for me to start getting ready for bed. I did a talk-mission and set up the one after that, so no one has to wait through that next time. Next, I worked on the in-game auction house, storage, and crafting on Olga, followed by a tiny bit of badge work on Aneira. After that, I wrote a little in this. Then, after a short break, I made notes in this. After another short break, I wrote an email to a cousin. I made a few more notes in this. Then I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, St. Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 23, 2026

The night before Monday, I got some kind of severe gastrointestinal upset. It only lasted a couple of hours at most, but it slowed down taking notes and getting ready for bed enough, I still only go there around 2:15 am, despite getting started far sooner. At least I was beginning to feel better by bedtime, so I hope the illness didn't affect my sleep too much. {rueful smile}

After breakfast, I hopped onto my computer, and browsed articles, videos, and comics Until a thunderstorm started being close at lunch time. I shut off my computer and peripherals, and had lunch away from the computer, reading Forward Day by Day during it. By the time I was done with lunch, the thunderstorm had passed, so I returned to my computer and read comics on it well into the afternoon. Then I wrote up my daily update, breaking to read a few more comics. Somehow, I only went into City of Heroes: Homecoming less than an hour before dinner. However, I quickly found Dennis and Kitten teaming together. I joined them and did two or three of Dennis's missions on moderately low-level characters with them before dinner. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I responded on Discord, the chat server, to a few friends, and left a message to Dr. Faustus, who didn't respond. then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and said hi to Kitten and Pierogies. Pierogies responded, and we quickly teamed up to do two or three missions on high-level characters. Seb said hi while we were doing the last mission. We chatted until Pierogies and I got done. Then Seb invited me to roleplay. I got Olga, my lower-level villain supergroup member, and joined his Marius, who also belongs to that supergroup. We did a private roleplay for a fair while. Next, he left for bed when he got tired. I did some auction house, storage and crafting, and I wrote in this, taking breaks to read a couple more comics, and do some auction house and storage on the character I used with Pierogies. After that, I got the character I'd played with Dennis and Kitten. I did auction house and storage, then updated some of their missions, since I noticed several were old, but easy to update. Then I read one more comic before I finished the last bit of this. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, St. Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 22, 2026

The night before Sunday, I got to bed around 2:15. It's no worse than most other recent nights... except that for church, I get up closer to 8:45 am than 9:00 am. I dont' think I had too much trouble with tiredness later in the day. {Smile}

Getting up earlier did help my main nurse get me to church at the beginning of the announcements. He was later because he went back for his daughter, who'd called just after we'd passed his house. It was a nice service, with a visiting priest who appreciates how much Hawaiian we use. {Smile}

For lunch on the church lanai, I sat with Auntie Barbara and BJ. Auntie Barbara and I talked about things I need for the necklace that lost a ring. In addition to a new ring, it would be nice for the two charms to have a home that can move easily. We also talked about the trip home she'll start soon. I might have to wait until she gets back to get that necklace fixed, though she will try for at least the ring, since she'll be gone a month. I also talked with the gal who, along with her husband, is our congregation's expert in the Hawaiian language. She will be happy to look over the Hawaiian in my story that I've been working on for my Creative Writing class. I need to get that ready this week. {Smile}

After lunch, my main nurse took me home. I didn't trust my phone not to erase stuff, so I played Cross Stitch World both down and back. Late in the evening, I found it had erased everything I've done in that pattern for a second time. It's annoying to lose the work but doesn't require recreating anything like rewriting does. So yes, I'd rather lose this progress. {smile}

When I got home, I got onto my computer. I browsed articles, videos and comics -- mostly comics --until I wrote up Saturday's daily update, with a few breaks to read more comics. Then I sorted through my socks because some seem to have gone missing. Next, I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. After that, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked the in-game auction house, then my friends who play the game. I waved to a few, but everyone was busy, so I got the mid-level, melee-ranged Olga, and ran a mission in a story arc by myself before having dinner while reading Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

After dinner, I read comics. Then I answered Nox on Discord and left a note for Dr. Faustus on Discord. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked the in-game auction house, and then my friends who play the game. I talked with Ulty, Jenny's Player, Nyxy, and Seb while I got Olga and ran the next mission in the story arc I'd worked on earlier. Dr. Faustus said hi while I was in there. We teamed up and finished that story arc - only a couple missions more. After that, we did two more story arcs in a series of five. I'll have to go up in level to do the last story arcs in that series, but I have more story arcs elsewhere first. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Olga, then wrote a bit in this. Next, I checked Cross Stitch World and discovered it had reset the pattern. Then I got some severe gastrointestinal upset that moved down my GI tract and left in under two hours, I treated it as I could, mostly gas, because that lasted the longest. While treating it, I made notes in this. Next, I paused to revise my story a little and answered an email when the notes were mostly done, since it was earlier than I thought. I also checked out Discord, and adding to my notes along the way. I said the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the Daughters of the King's motto to finish my evening. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 21, 2026

The night before Saturday, I got to bed around 2:15 am again. I need to work on this, but at least it's not later. {Smile}

Late in the morning, my main nurse took me to Prince Kuhio Plaza to walk around. We went all the way around, including into TJ Maxx, both Macy's, and Old Navy. Then my main nurse and I went back home. We would have stopped for a popsicle, but I think they're closed for vacation. I'm glad they're doing well enough to afford that. I tried writing some of Friday's daily update in the car, but it didn't save. {Smile}

I read Forward Day by Day over breakfast, Then, after the trip, I got onto my computer. I rewrote the part of Friday's daily update that I'd already written, referencing what I wrote. I took breaks for web browsing, including articles, videos, and particularly comics. Next, I wrote the rest of the update. I felt the earlier writing took more time than it saved, though it's great when it does save, like the day before. I'm not sure why it saves sometimes and not others. When I finished my daily update, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on the in-game auction house. After that, I checked on my friends who play the game, and started chatting with Pierogies, who was feeling more like talking than playing. We just talked until he said goodnight. I just hunted badges on Seameownt, the character Kitten designed, until I checked on my friends again, and noticed that Dennis was on. We teamed up on moderately low-level characters, and did several missions, most if not all his, until dinner. {Smile}

After dinner, I read comics on the web. Then I messaged Dr. Faustus on Discord, the chat server. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked the in-game auction house. After that, I checked one my friends who play the game. Then I collected more badges on Seameownt until Dr. Faustus said hi. We talked, slowly choosing who to team up on. We chose Dr. Faustus and the mid-level, melee-ranged Olga. We finished a story arc Olga had started, then did a distantly related story arc, roleplaying as our characters along the way. Next, we said goodnight. After that, I prepared Olga for future story arcs, and worked on her in-game auction house, storage and crafting. Then I wrote a little in this. I played a tiny bit of Cross Stitch World before I made notes in this. I ended my evening by saying Saint Francis's Prayer, The Lord's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 20, 2026

 The night before Friday, I got very caught up in Cross Stitch World, to the point that I had trouble setting it aside to get ready for bed. Yet, especially with a reminder from Nox, I still got into bed around 2:15. I hope to get to bed sooner with less serious distractions. My main nurse suggested a nap, and I did take a short one after breakfast, but I didn't really feel not tired until I after our errands, when I was at my computer with the fan both on full. I guess I finally got overheated a bit. {Smile}

Before my nap, I called my doctor's office and left a message on their answering machine asking them to send an order to my preferred branch of Clinical Laboratories of Hawai'i. After my nap, my main nurse and I went out for errands.  First, we stopped at my doctor's office. They'd sent in the request as asked, but gave me a paper version of the order, too. Next, we went to the Lanihuli Street branch of Clinical Laboratories of Hawai'i, and got my medical tests done. After that, we went to First Hawaiian Bank. The checks I had to deposit, turned out to be for Dad. His trust doesn't have an account yet, but my financial adviser wants me to set one up. I think I finally found out what I really need to open one. A very self-confident and businesslike woman told me last year that I needed a death certificate and an EIN... I think that's Estate Identification Number. However, when they found it was for his trust, not his estate, they said I needed the TIN, or Tax Identification Number, and the documents that set up the trust. I did get some cash from my own account, because I was running low. Then we ran a few of my nurse's errands while I wrote up Friday's daily update. Yes, fully. by the time we got home, I was done. {Smile}

Over breakfast, I read Forward Day by Day. After we returned home from our errands, I got onto my computer. I quickly corrected the minor formatting mistakes that happen when I write on my phone. Then I shared Friday's daily update before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and did a little of the weekend auction house. Then I noticed a very regular long-term member of the villain supergroup was on. I went to their meeting spot early. settling in shortly before the very long-term member's character showed up. We started to roleplay, and Dr. Faustus soon joined us. Seb's Marius joined us not long after that. We did two story arcs my mid-level, melee-ranged Olga, or most of one - I'd done the first mission the day before, and all of a sequel. Next, we broke up, and I worked on Olga's auction house, storage and crafting until dinner. I also did more of my weekend auction house. {Smile}

After dinner, I read a few comics before I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, and talked with Seb, Ulty, and Jenny's Player. I also talked with Dr. Faustus and later with Nox, both on Discord. I got a bunch of contacts started for Olga. I stopped when I noticed Pierogies said hi. We talked and got together to tour bases. We checked most of them out a bit, so didn't get a whole lot, though we are working on badges giving for visiting a lot of bases. We stopped when Pierogies got tired and said goodnight. Then I started talking with Seb while I worked on more of my weekend auction house until Seb asked about roleplaying. I got Olga and joined his Marius for some private roleplaying. Eventually we said goodnight. I played a little Cross Stitch World, then worked on more of my weekend auction house. Next, I wrote a little of this before breaking to read a comic. After the comic, I made notes in this. I ended by evening with the Lord's Prayer, St. Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 19, 2026

The night before Thursday, I got to bed around (:15 am again. It was slightly earlier, but I do hope to reach more. Still, I want to finish my notes in this before bed, because I know I'll struggle to remember half as much after sleeping much. I did wake at 9 am and didn't seem to need too much rest or blood sugar help again. {Smile}

At breakfast, I started my video counselling session. We had a good talk, including planning to be more involved in preparing breakfast and lunch.  {Smile}

Afterwards, I browsed articles and videos on the web.  Then I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. Next, I read webcomics over lunch.  After lunch, I wrote up my daily update, taking breaks for more webcomics. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, and said hi to Kitten, Pierogies and Jenny's player. I talked with Kitten and Jenny's player. Next, I joined Kitten in the later short, large-group event with me on a character who's particularly good in it. After that, I teamed up with Kitten, with me on the middle-level, melee-ranged version of Olga, the lower-level villain supergroup member. We did a story arc of Olga's together. Dennis joined us in the last mission in time to get a badge from it. Then we said goodnight. I had just enough time for some auction house and storage on her before dinner while reading Forward Day by Day.  {Smile}

After dinner, I read webcomics. Then I wrote a little of this. I said hi to Nox, Kitten, Pierogies, Dennis and Dr. Faustus on Discord, the chat server.  Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming.  I checked on my friends who play the game and said hi to Kitten, Ulty, Jenny's Player, and Seb. After that, I did a little crafting on the melee version of Olga while I talked with Ulty, Jenny's Player and Seb. Then I joined Seb in a player-built cafe for light, mostly public role playing with me and Seb's Marius chatting privately on the side. Eventually Marius left, and Olga went with him. We went to our supergroup for some private role playing. (We're both in the villain supergroup.) Then we said goodnight. I made notes in this, taking a longer break to play Cross Stitch World than I intended.  I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King.  {Smile}

Daily Update, March 18, 2026

The night before Wednesday, I got to bed around 2:15. Taht's half an hour earlier than the day before, though not particularly good or bad compared to usual. The next morning, I was still feeling tired, so I lay down for a nap before lunch, and felt more like myself after that. I didn't have anywhere near as much trouble with feeling tired or with blood sugar after that. {Smile}

My doctor's office called to cancel an appointment I have for tomorrow. It's to go over blood tests which I'd forgotten I need, so I need to reschedule after getting the blood tests. {smile}

After my nap, I browsed articles, videos and comics over lunch and into the afternoon. Then I wrote up Tuesday's daily update, with distinctly less browsing in fewer breaks than usual. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game. I talked with Pierogies, Kitten, Dr. Faustus, and Seb. I also talked with Nox on Discord. I teamed up with Dr. Faustus, with me on Octavia, a moderately low-level human mage. Kitten joined us, and we did several missions, finishing one contact and starting another before Kitten left Then Dr. Faustus and I did one more mission before we broke so I could eat dinner. I read forward Day by Day during that meal. {Smile}

After dinner, I read a few comics. Then I messaged Dr. Faustus and Kitten on Discord, the chat server. I also began talking with Nox on Discord. I ended up going into City of Heroes: Homecoming later than I meant to. I checked on my friends who play the game. I said hi to Kitten, Ulty, Jenny's Player, and Seb, and talked with Ulty, Jenny's Player, and Seb. I started roleplaying with Seb. Then Dr. Faustus joined us. They left for a bit, but I called them back, and we did three-way roleplaying, chatting, during which Kitten said hi privately. Dr. Faustus, Seb and I switched to missions with roleplaying. We did a mission from one contact, then an entire story arc from another contact at my request. Kitten joined partway through. Next, we started a sequel contact's story arc. Kitten left partway through, about the time a friend of Seb's joined. A while later, Dr. Faustus left. Seb, his friend and I finished the second story arc and contact, then said goodnight. I left to work on the in-game auction house and storage. After that, I wrote a little in this, then made a lot of notes in this. I took minimal breaks, including one for minimal Cross Stitch World. Then I said the Lord's Prayer and the motto of the Daughters of the King to finish my evening. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 17, 2026

The night before Tuesday, as I mentioned in the update, I got into a conversation that kept me going and engaged enough, I didn't get into bed until around 2:45 am. Maybe I should be relieved it wasn't 3 am, but mostly I'm determined to not let it get this late again. I drowsed in the car on our trip out and noticed less tiredness later. There was still a fair bit, though that did seem to respond to blood sugar treatment, for the most part. {Smile}

At breakfast time, I planned a morning nap. That changed when my phone made the noise for the calendar. I checked and found out it was the day of the monthly picnic. I checked email but didn't find announcement (not even later, despite the leader swearing she sent one). I called the leader and left a message on her answering machine. She soon called me back and told me we were meeting in the kitchen at the Hawai'i County Office of Aging. {Smile}

After breakfast, my substitute relief nurse took me down to the Office of Aging. We arrived late, as I knew we would. they start at 10, and it's hard enough to do that for church. A second time in a week doesn't happen. Talking over food was in full swing. My nurse came in and met folks, then left for errands she had. We talked about what I've been doing, and I learned what some of the others have been doing, too. When they were done, I texted my substitute relief nurse, then continued to visit with the leader until my nurse came and picked me up to take me home. {Smile}

Back at home, I got onto my computer. I browsed articles and videos, then wrote up some of Monday's daily update before I went into City of Heroes Homecoming, thinking to prepare for the teen supergroup meeting. However, I immediately found a note from Nyxy explaining that the guy who's been meeting me when others don't come couldn't make it. and no one else seemed likely either, so this weeks' meeting was called off. I browsed more videos and read some comics. Then I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, then stepped away briefly. I came back to learn that Pierogies had come on and said hi. I got their attention and learned that they were in the later long, large-group event. I joined the group, and we ran it together. I got two badges I've been working on for a while on that character. Then I worked on the in-game auction house, storage, and crafting. Next, Dennis said hi. We teamed up and did a mission. Then Pierogies joined us and we did another couple of missions. Then we all broke, them heading to bed, and me to dinner with Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

After dinner, I browsed comics and finished writing up Monday's daily update. I finished late enough that I got note on Discord from Nox asking if I'd be done soon. Fortunately, at point I was getting ready to share it. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and said hi to Dr. Faustus. We teamed up with me on the newer, ranged Olga, and they helped me get a badge that improves her stamina, so she tires less easily. While we were finishing, the new gal came on and spoke to the supergroup. She joined us, and we started running bank heists, getting loot and badges that will help her. Next, Dragons said hi and joined us. Then Dragons asked for us to invite Star, a friend of theirs who I'm acquainted with, too. We continued until the new gal and Dr. Faustus had to leave. I left, too, as Dragons and Star joined another friend of theirs. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on a few characters. Then I did a little writing in this before making a fair bit of notes to cover the rest. I did break for comics and videos a few times. I finished my evening with prayers, including the Lord's Prayer and the Daughters of the King's motto, which can be a prayer, too. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 16, 2026

The night before Monday, I got to bed around 2:15 am again. Neither great nor terrible by recent standards, and I didn't struggle too much with feeling tired, I don't think. {Smile}

The previous night, I found an email warning me I had no makeup class after all, because of the storm passing through. the next morning, I got a phone call about the same thing shortly before the class was scheduled. I'm impressed with how they're really on top of making sure we know about this cancellation. {Smile}

A while after breakfast, my substitute relief nurse and I went out to run several errands, mostly the relief nurse's. My class was cancelled due to a storm that is passing the state, so I didn't have that to go to.  We picked up some lunch, because we were going late. We also tried for a popsicle, but they were closed. The park the ice cream parlor is in looked too wet for walking, so we went home. {Smile}

At home, I got onto my computer. I browsed articles, videos, and comics over the rest of lunch, which was late. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Dennis said hi, and we teamed up. I picked Seameownt, the character Kitten designed, and we did one mission. Then I got seriously distracted by a conversation on Discord, the chat server. By the time I got back, Dennis had given up and left. He explained how long he'd waited over Discord when I asked. I tried to explain and apologize. Dinner interrupted getting back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. {smile}

After dinner, I read comics before going back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I said hi to Seb, and we chatted before saying goodnight. I checked on my friends who play the game. I said hi to Michiel and we teamed up. We ran a few missions of mine together. Then Dr. Faustus said hi and joined us. We finished my mission and ran one of Dr. Faustus's. Then Michiel left. Next, Dr. Faustus and I discussed who to play. I got a moderately low-level character named Octavia Ballad and tweaked her costumes to make her younger to match Dr. Faustus's character. We roleplayed them meeting each other and another character of Dr. Faustus's. We did several missions of mine to catch my character up to Dr. Faustus's. Then we can start doing some missions where we both get credit. After that, we said goodnight. I finished tweaking Octavia's costumes, then worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting for both Octavia and Seameownt. Next, I wrote sin this before switching to making notes. I also talked with Dennis on Discord, which helped me to be particularly late to bed. I did remember to say the Lord's Prayer and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 14, 2026

The night before Sunday, I got to bed around 2:15 am. I was hoping for sooner, but that was before I found the Daughters of the King chat that announced that church had been cancelled for the next morning "out of an abundance of caution." Reading that, responding to that, telling Auntie Barbara and my main nurse about that, and adding it to my notes in this all slowed me down. However, I got to sleep in to my regular time, instead of getting up earlier to go to church, so I didn't feel like a needed a nap... unless you count some apparent blood sugar trouble in the late afternoon. It responded well enough to the usual treatments that I'm not counting it. {Smile}

I discovered that the "prayer" I say is officially their motto, not one of their prayers. It sure feels like a prayer to me. It's talking to God and everything. {Smile, wink}

Before bed, the chain I wear my Daughters of the King cross on came apart. After breakfast, I tried to fix it, but I lost a jump ring. I made it work, but not well. So, I told my main nurse, then searched around the house.  I couldn't find anything that was quite right, not even in some jewelry supplies I found. Then I remembered that Auntie Barbara is a retired jeweler. Most retired craftsmen have the supplies for their trade for personal use, so I texted her about it, and she asked what kind of metal I need. I think this will get fixed by someone who really knows about jewelry.  {SMILE}

Over breakfast, I read Forward Day by Day.  Then after settling the necklace, I went on my computer.  I browsed articles, videos, and comics. Next, I wrote up Saturday's daily update, taking breaks for more articles and videos.  After that, I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. Then I went back to my computer and into City of Heroes: Homecoming.  I checked on my friends who play the game, and chatted with Kitten, Pierogies, Seb, Ulty, and Jenny's Player. Kitten was slow to team up due to chores but did so eventually with me on the character they designed. I think Pierogies joined us. We did a few missions from one contact before dinner. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer and into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I said goodnight to Seb, who was just leaving. I chatted with Ulty a bit. Then I checked a few of my characters. I began to play by myself on a moderately low-level character. It was a struggle, but I completed one mission. I had to lower the difficulty and go slow, but I did it.  Next, I read some comics. After that, I said the motto of the Daughters of the King and felt inspired to look at my story.  I revised the first three scenes of my story, trying to tighten it like my instructor said to, but probably nowhere near as severely as she meant. Still, it is a start.  Then I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I did three more missions on the moderately low-level character. It was still difficult, but I got better with practice, and with lowering the difficulty the rest of the way. Next, I worked on that character's auction house, storage and crafting.  After that, I wrote some of this, and made notes in this with fewer, shorter breaks than usual. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer and the motto of the Daughters of the King.  {Smile}

Daily Update, March 14, 2026

The night before Saturday I got to bed a while before 2:30 am, and didn't really settle until around 3am, despite trying to fall asleep quickly. So, a while after breakfast, when I'd gotten myself ready for the day, I took a nap. I felt better after that nap, though I still managed to catch myself nodding off after dinner, though that was the only time. Once I woke up, I stayed awake that time. {Smile}

We thought we might go out, but there were flash flood warnings, and recommendations to stay home. I even got an alert saying that on my phone. With me needing a morning nap, it was a slow day, anyway, so we didn't go out as my nurse thought we might, even before the alert. {smile}

I got a call from Auntie Barbara before dinner, checking on me. she had distinctly more trouble with the storm than my nurse and I did. However, she hoped to be at church, which we expected to start early. That is, until I found a Daughters of the King group text saying that the service was cancelled "out of an abundance of caution" because of the storm that's going through the state this weekend. I immediately texted Auntie Barbara to let her know, so she wouldn't drive into town for nothing. {smile}

Over breakfast, I read Forward Day by Day. Then after my nap, I went onto my computer. I browsed articles, videos, and comics right over lunch. Then I wrote up some of Friday's daily update. I paused to do a personal chore my main nurse let me know about. Then I tried to get back into writing my daily update, but I ended up just giving up for the moment and going into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and said hi to some of them. I also checked a few of my characters while chatting with Seb and Pierogies, and maybe Dr. Faustus. Pierogies and I got together and visited several bases, with me on my best badge collector. We got a badge, with two more possible if we keep at it. Kitten said hi, and joined us just as Pierogies said goodbye and left. I switched to the character Kitten designed. Auntie Barbra's phone call came during this. Kitten and I completed a story arc my character had enough before dinner for me to squeeze in a tiny bit of auction house and crafting before dinner, too. {Smile}

After dinner. I read comics. Then I finished writing Friday's daily update. During that, I caught myself napping but roused and stayed awake. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and said hi to some of them. We chatted while I finished auction house, crafting and storage for the character Kitten designed, and while I checked a few more characters. I also talked briefly with Nox on Discord. Dr. Faustus said hi. We talked, then teamed up with me on Peony Boffin, my lower-level teen supergroup member. We did a story arc she had, then said goodnight. After that, I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Peony, with a break to read a comic. Then I wrote a little, and made notes in this, with breaks to check Cross Stitch World, read a comic and watch a couple of videos. On my way to bed, I learned about church being cancelled, and told Auntie Barbara and my main nurse. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer.
