Daily Update, September 2, 2026

The night before Wednesday, I got to bed just a few minutes after 2 am. I missed my first bedtime goal, but got closer than the night before, at least. {Smile}

At dinner, I realized I hadn't reminded my main nurse about the pupu social being this night since last week Wednesday. He hadn't prepared anything or even picked anything up. So, after a hasty dinner with TV but no reading, we stopped at Taco Bell on the way to class. My main nurse picked out some tacos and nachos for me to take. Then my main nurse took me to the Church of the Holy Cross for the ballroom dance pupu social. I visited with folks a bit and did a dance or two before we had a late dinner. After dinner, we did several more dances, including two line dances, a few partner dances, and a few dances I did solo, since I didn't have a partner, but knew a very little about dancing that kind without a partner. I really need to work out more solo dancing, since I don't have a steady partner. No tacos came home with us, though I spotted a few going home with others. My main nurse took me home afterwards. I played Cross Stitch World both on the way down and the way home. {Smile}

I had breakfast with my main nurse, his TV, forward Day by Day, and _Cat + Gamer 1_, finishing the last. Then I went onto my computer. I read a few web comics, then started writing up Tuesday's daily update, I worked into lunch, then took a break, starting _Cat + Gamer 2_. The Book Seat I got for Dad sits nicely on my keyboard, so reading wasn't a problem, and typing was getting awkward while eating. I went back to writing Tuesday's daily update after lunch, finishing it. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I spotted Pierogies, but he soon left. I said hi to Kitten, but they were busy in a full raid. So, I played on Anka Beecher, the new, low-level version of my best badge collector I made to name my new account. I did a story arc and gained a level. After that, I checked with Kitten, who was now free, but only for half an hour. So, we did a mission that I hoped would be more fun than the talks coming up in the story arc we'd been working on. After the mission, we talked a bit before they left. Then I did another story arc on Anka Beecher, gaining another level, and turned off experience. I did some storage and auction house on her. Then I checked on my friends who play the game again and found out that Kitten was back. We worked on the story arc we'd been doing before today. I tried to share the talks as feasible. This continued until I got called to dinner. I ate with just my main nurse and his TV for speed. Then he took me to the pupu social. {Smile}

After I got back home, I went back to my computer and City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I got my high-level Anka and started another contact. I also did more talks with the contact Kitten and I are working on. New clues stopped showing, and one may have disappeared, even as more notices appeared. I investigated a story arc, then closed windows on my computer. Then I quickly made notes in this, thinking it was too late to do any real writing. Then, as i stared to get ready for bed, I realized I had misread the clock. So, I wrote in this, taking a break to read articles, and got ready for bed just in time. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, September 1, 2026

The night before Tuesday, I got to bed several minutes after 2 am. I missed my first bedtime goal by a margin. I really need to work on that. {rueful smile}

After breakfast, I tried to print out the story that I'd worked on over the week. However, I'd marked the new parts as suggestions. In the past, it printed the suggestions is green and the accepted parts in black, which made it easy to find new parts. This time, it didn't print the suggestions at all. So, I put the printout in the scratch paper pile I've started. {smile}

Then my relief nurse took me down to Kamana Senior Center for my Creative Writing class. I did work out how to handle future printout, but late enough, the choice was continuing to class, arriving somewhat early, or turning around fixing it up, and arriving distinctly late. I chose to arrive early and explain why I didn't have printouts. I repeated myself a few times, as people kept pushing that they like printouts, but I just couldn't make them work that day. I ate lunch during class, since it's very much during the lunch hour. After class, my relief nurse took me home. I played Cross Stitch World on the way down and the way back, when I was done figuring out a better way to handle the printing. {Smile}

I had breakfast with my relief nurse, his TV, and Forward Day by Day. Then, after we got home from my class, I got onto my computer. I read web comics and watched videos before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I went straight to teen supergroup meeting on Aneira Lloyds. I began roleplaying with Veronica and Jawsome's character, slipping in checking on my friends who play the game before concentrating on the roleplaying. Nyxy's Pella joined us. Ulty didn't answer when I said hi, but that's easy to miss if you're busy. The four who were there picked a fantasy taskforce that gives particularly good rewards this week and went to the contact. We found a fellow already recruiting, but his team filled too fast for all four of us to join, and we didn't want to split up. So, we recruited four more to fill our team and ran the taskforce. After we finished, three of the four we recruited left. The per who stayed joined the four supergroup members in running a mission that helped two of our members, and maybe the extra, too. The extra then left, and the four members got together in our supergroup base, where we both roleplayed in-character, and talked out-of-character, too.  I worked on what storage I could do in the base and checked on my friends who play the game as the talk wound down, becoming less frequent. Eventually, the others left one by one. When the last left, I went out of the base to work on more of the in-game storage, plus auction house and crafting until dinner. I ate with my relief nurse, his TV, and _Cat + Gamer 1_, nearing end of _Cat + Gamer 1_. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I began to write up Monday's daily update. I took a longer break to watch videos and read web comics than I intended. Then I talked with Nox on Discord, which reminded me to finish Monday's daily update, which I did. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and spotted Dr. Faustus. I said hi, and asked to team. We did with me on Topaz Proudfoot, my newest Hobbit, and finished some of their missions. After that, was did a mission of mine that finished a contact, and a few more that finished a story arc I had started. Then we said goodnight. I worked on storage, and checked her in-game auction house, but she's still low-level to do that regularly. I read some web comics and wrote a little in this. Next, I checked and played Cross Stitch World. I closed windows on my computer. After that, I wrote more in this, before shifting to making notes in this to write from later. I ended my day with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 31, 2026

The night before Monday, I got to bed right at 2 am... or just after if you count the time to walk around the bed and climb in. I was so close to my first bedtime goal... {smile}

After breakfast, my relief nurse took me down to auntie Sally's Lu'au Hale for my First Timer's Line Dance class. I arrived early, so I got to talk with a gal before class. I managed to miss the first dance when I took a last-minute trip to the little room. Otherwise, I did all the dances, even the not-as-formal ones during our breaks. I talked to another gal during one of those breaks too. It was our last class of this session, since next week is Labor Day, which is a state holiday. My relief nurse came and took me home afterwards. I played Cross Stitch World on the way down, and the way back home. {Smile}

I had breakfast with my relief nurse and his TV. I didn't try to read anything because I wanted to make sure I wasn't late to class. After class, I had lunch with my relief nurse, his TV, and forward Day by Day. Then I went onto my computer. I checked my email, and made out a check to Helping Hands Hale, nursing company that takes care of me. The nursing company secretary came and picked up check, which covers the next month. However, we barely talked. Next, I checked an email and sent it to my financial adviser. I also tried to call their office but got their answering machine. I did leave a message. After that, I read web comics and articles and watched videos. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I spotted the later long, large-group event, and joined it on Ana Marcelino. I ran it and talked with Dennis while running it at first. After the event was over, I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on her after the event was over. Next, I ate dinner, which was tacos with my relief nurse, his TV, and _Cat + Gamer 1_. Despite tacos being messy to eat, I actually kept enough of my left hand clean enough to turn pages while I ate. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer and into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then Ana Marcelino in particular got invited to a special run of a taskforce set in Ancient Rome. I got a badge she was missing from it. I worked on her in-game auction house, storage and crafting. Then I said goodnight to Nox on Discord. This reminded me to write up Sunday's daily update, which I did. Next, I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game. I looked around for something to get into and ended up choosing another run of that taskforce in ancient Rome. The leader recognized me, so I asked which character to bring. He chose Carrie Overstreet, who happens to be my third best badge collector. I hoped to get a badge on her for this, but it didn't quite qualify. Still, we had a good run. When it was over, I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Carrie. Then I updated Ana Marcelino's badge record. After that, Wolf said hi, and we talked. I wrote in this. Then I revised my story... changing the part I'd written a few days before quite a lot because I discovered that sledding in Ancient Hawai'i was done very differently from how I'd assumed it would be. When I found a good stopping place, I closed windows on my computer. Next, I made notes in this, then checked Cross Stitch World. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 30, 2026

The night before Sunday, I got to bed shortly before 2 am. So, I did meet my first bedtime goal. I got up at 1:45 to give myself a little more time to get ready for church. {Smile}

After breakfast, my main nurse took me down to church. I played Cross Stitch World on the way. I got there during the prelude, even before the announcements, though signing four cards meant I walked in as the announcements began. I sat with Peg, since Auntie Barbara was teaching Sunday.; She can and sat with us when they finished and came in. The bishop was there - his last visit before retirement. Well, he explained that technically they don't retire, but they can "resign due to advanced age." {Smile}

I actually sat with him and his wife during lunch - primarily because my cousin Babs, her granddaughter, and their friend were on the other end of the table. I sat between them, as did our deacon. I talked with them all during lunch... well, the beginning and end. The middle had a series of talked by our deacon, our junior warden (since the senior warden was away), and our bishop himself. {Smile}

Afterwards, I had a bit of a time getting our deacon, our bishop, and our bishop's wife together to tell them about the pictures my friend Charlotte kept on her wall of the time they brought her holy communion. She had a wall filled with pictures of people she liked to remember. Almost all were relatives, but three or four pictures of our bishop, his wife, and our deacon the time our bishop came to her house to give her holy communion. They were touched to hear that. {Smile}

After lunch, my main nurse took me home. I played Cross Stitch World on the way back. {Smile}

I had breakfast with main nurse and his TV. I didn't read anything, since I wanted to get off to church in a timely manner. After church, I got onto my computer. I read web comics and began writing up Saturday's daily update. However, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming before I was done. I checked on my friends who play the game. I talked with Kitten, who was busy with the early long, large-group event. Then I wrote some more of Saturday's daily update, checking back once in a while. I stopped when Kitten came and joined me after the event. We started a story arc they're interested in with me on Anka. Then we broke for later short, large-group event, which Kitten got into, but I didn't. The zone was full when I tried. So I wrote a bit more of Saturday's daily update while I waited. Kitten came back, and we did more of the story arc until they were slow to come out of a mission. When Kitten did come out, I think they joined the late night short, large-group event. I also talked briefly with Jenny's Player, who said hi. I finished Saturday's daily update and shared it just before dinner. I ate with main nurse, his TV, and Forward Day by Day.

After dinner I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. Then I went back to my computer. I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I said hi to Ulty and Divi, and talked with them, particularly Divi. Next, I read a few web comics. After that I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game again. I also worked on the in-game auction house. I got melee-ranged Olga, and did a hunt on her, followed by auction house and storage on her. Before I found something else, Dr. Faustus said hi. They had a mission that could help with a badge that I found that Nani'akea, my fifth best badge collector, needed. So, I worked on it and couple of similar badges while waiting for them to finish the mission they were in. Then we did the mission, and another mission which was less related than we thought. Next, we said goodnight. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Nani'akea. After that, I checked and played a little Cross Stitch World. I closed windows and watched a few short videos. Then I wrote in this and made notes in this. I ended my day with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 29, 2026

The night before Saturday, I got to bed shortly before 2 am. So, I made my first bedtime goal. {Smile}

After breakfast, I worked on my story. Well, I tried to. I wrote and revised a little and spent a fair bit of time coming up with nicknames for four women who aren't saying anything about being goddesses and are even avoiding using their full names. I stopped there, but I went back and added more as I was writing this up before bed. The scene is by no means done, but at least it's better started. {Smile}

I had breakfast with my main nurse, his TV, and Forward Day by Day. Then I went onto my computer. I worked on my story, then watched some short videos and read a couple of web comics over lunch. I wrote up Friday's daily update before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, and found Kitten on a team, so I didn't bother them. I also checked characters who'd started their weekend, in-game auction house. After that, I checked on my friends who play the game again. Now, Kitten was free, so we teamed up, but they joined the later short, large-group event when they thought I'd be slow getting going. So, I did too. After we ran it, we did a story arc with me on Anka, the fully developed version of Anka Beecher. Kitten said the story arc would prepare for another story arc that I've started on Ana Marcelino, but Ana done less of the content that sets up stuff in that arc, so Anka might get it done more quickly. Kitten went quiet just after I took the last mission. That was timed, so I had to finish soon. I ran it solo, since we'd got it in a way where we couldn't add anyone after we started. I managed to finish right before dinner, to my surprise It looked like it would run even longer. I ate with my main nurse, his TV, and _Cat + Gamer 1_. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I talked with Nox on Discord. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game. I also checked the in-game auction house on a couple of characters. Next, I worked by myself on a couple of long badges Ana Marcelino still needs. I got most of the rest of the way on both before Dr. Faustus said hi. We teamed up with me on melee-ranged Olga. We finished the story arc we'd started a couple of nights ago. Mysty and her friend joined us for the last couple of missions. After that, Mysty wanted to do a trial for a friend. I settled Olga down, turning on experience to get one more level when I play her again while I did. I switched to Ana Marcelino because she needed badges from the trial they wanted, having missed it until now. Mysty's friend joined us, a friend I rarely see now. They recruited the rest of a team, then we ran the trial. Ana got two badges. Then half the team left, including Dr. Faustus because they had things to do for the next day. The four of us left ran a four-person trial. Next, we visited until the others left one by one. I worked on the in-game auction house storage and crafting on the characters I'd played that day. After that, I talked with Kitten on Discord. I also finished the two badges I'd worked on earlier on Ana Marcelino. Then I did some storage and updated her badge record. Next, I checked Cross Stitch World before I wrote in this. I stopped to close windows on my computer and ended up watching a video and reading an article, as well as browsing another article or two. After that, I made notes in this. I ended my day with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 28, 2026

The night before Friday, I got to bed slightly after 2 am, so I missed my first bedtime goal by seconds, okay maybe a minute if you don't count it until I walk around the bed, adjusting the blankets, and get in. I'll have to try harder. {resigned smile}

After breakfast, my main nurse took me down to Kamana Senior Center for my Ballroom Dance: mambo class. The teacher showed us some moves I'm sure are in the intermediate list, and I think I'm getting them, though with Practice I'm getting better. I danced with a few other students, and talked with some, too. After class, my main nurse took me back home. {Smile}

After lunch, I tried to call my cousin Nancy and Auntie Barbara. Auntie Barbara answered first. I let her know how Kim and Aunt Valerie are getting along. Then we caught up on other things before ending the call. Nancy called me back a while later, and I updated her on Kim and Aunt Valerie before catching up with each other and sharing similar experiences. It was so nice talking with both of them. {Smile}

I ate breakfast with my main nurse and his TV. I had to leave too quickly to read anything. After I got back from class, I went onto my computer. I watched, videos and read web comics over and after lunch, until I stopped to make the phone calls. The phone call with Nancy ended right when the villain supergroup meeting usually begins. It had been cancelled, but at least Patience isn't in the Discord where that was announced, so I went to where we usually meet on melee-ranged Olga. Sure enough, Patience was there, and Anya was talking with her. I joined them, and checked with Seb through Discord, but he was busy. Patience, Anya and I got a story arc through a flashback system. They had me pick, so I picked the one I did the night before and really enjoyed. It's newer, so less familiar, though Anya assured me she doesn't know the villain content well. I really don't, either. Anya left soon after it was over. Kitten said hi, but I barely said hi back, since I was busy talking with Patience, which went on for a fair while. She left just after I finished auction house and storage on melee-ranged Olga, including beginning of the weekend auction house. By then, Cat had gone quiet and faded out. So, I did my beginning of the weened auction house on a couple more characters before dinner. I ate with my main nurse, his TV, Forward Day by Day, and _Cat + Gamer 1_. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I wrote up Thursday's daily update, with breaks for reading web comics and watching videos. Then I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Next, I read another web comic and watched some videos before I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game again. This time I stayed in the game, playing a bit on Anka Beecher, then doing some of the in-game auction house and storage on her. I also did the beginning of the weekend in-game auction house on one more character, who I'd forgotten earlier. After that, I checked the beginning of the weekend auction house on others before I wrote in this. Then I checked out a few videos before I made notes in this. I took a break to answer Kitten on Discord. When I was done, I closed windows on my computer. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 27, 2026

The night before Thursday, I got to bed several minutes after 2 am. I missed my first bedtime goal by a margin, I'm afraid. {rueful smile}

Starting with breakfast, I had my online counselling appointment. It was a very productive session. My counsellor and I planned how to deal with too much stuff, and my desire to sell it where feasible. {Smile}

After counselling, I looked over my library account and found the list of books I have checked out. None were overdue, but three were due in a few days, with two renewals already. Two I hadn't started, so I just put them with the one book I'd finished this week. The third was _Overgeared 3_, which I wasn't quite halfway through yet, so I pushed myself to finish it, reading it before, during and after lunch. I did finish it and told my main nurse I was ready to go to the library, as he'd suggested earlier.

My main nurse took me to the Hilo branch of Hawai'i Public Library. I talked with my cousin Kim on the way down, hanging up when we reached the library. I returned the books I'd set aside to return, including _Overgeared 3_. Then I browsed books, picking out three more. I checked them out and started _Prince Freya 1_. I soon switched to _Mocha the Cat and His Forever Family 1_. My main nurse came and took me home. I continued reading _Mocha the Cat and His Forever Family 1_ until I got home. {Smile}

After my counselling appointment, I checked CoH:H, adjusting Anka Beecher's auction house. Then I wrote a little of Wednesday's daily update before going to the library. After I got home from the library, I went back to my computer. I wrote up most of the rest of Wednesday's daily update, stopping when I responded to Pierogis on Discord, and he asked me to team up on City of Heroes: Homecoming. I quickly went into that game and host and teamed up with Pierogies.We worked on a story arc he'd started with Dennis. We did a talk, a hunt, another talk, and finally a short regular mission before my main nurse called me to dinner. Then we said goodnight. I ate with my main nurse and his TV. I began _A Cat from Our World and the Forgotten Witch 1_, but stopped, and started _Cat + Gamer 1_. Both are due a little over a week into next month, and have been renewed twice, along with book 2 of both series I'll see how much I can finish before they're due. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer to finish Wednesday's daily update. Then I quickly went to City of Heroes: Homecoming to check on my friends who play the game. Next, I broke to clean myself up with the help of my main nurse. After that, I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game again. I started to say hi to Dr. Faustus, then stopped when I realized they were on a full team. So, I left the game and read a couple of web comics. Then I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. Dr. Faustus was still on, but not on a team, so I said hi, and we teamed up with me on melee-ranged Olga. We did a story arc I had that he recommended I do before I go up in level. Next, we started another story arc, which he also recommends doing before I go up in level. After that, we said goodnight early because they had to prepare for work the next day. Then I worked on the in-game auction house and storage on ranged Olga. Next, I got Anka Beecher and did auction house on her, followed by a few short missions, followed by storage and more in-game auction house. I also checked in one character and did some storage I found on her. After that, I wrote a bit in this. I checked Cross Stitch World and played some of it before shutting shut down windows on my computer. Then I wrote notes in this. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 26, 2026

The night before Wednesday, I got to bed a few minutes before 2 am. I made my first bedtime goal again! {SMILE}

After an early lunch, my main nurse took me to my cardiology appointment. The office had moved again, but we found it with some help from hospital personnel, since it is still in Hilo Hospital. I
checked in, and they soon showed me to a room. There, I had a long session with a nurse, which even included a medical test. Then I saw my new doctor, who's very happy with how my heart recovered from the heart disease that led to heart failure over a decade ago. {Smile}

After my appointment, my main nurse took me for a popsicle, but they are closed Wednesdays. He found a sweet shop where I got a cream brulee and something else for later. I ate the cream brulee on the way home. {Smile}

After dinner, my main nurse took me to the Church of the Holy Cross for my ballroom dance classes. Both went well. We're really getting into more complicated moves with the cha-cha in particular. We learned next week is the party; I warned my main nurse, since he usually fixes something for it. After class, my main nurse took me home afterwards. I played Cross Stitch World on the way down and way back after I drank my water. {Smile}

I had breakfast with my main nurse, his TV, and Forward Day by Day. Then I went onto my computer. I read web comics, watched videos, and maybe read an article or two right through an early lunch. After lunch came my trip to my cardiologist. When I got back, I went back onto my computer and wrote up Tuesday's daily update despite trouble concentrating. I got distracted by web comics and videos, but eventually I finished and went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I sent a note to friends on Discord but mentioned it was late for me. No one answered. So, I did a few missions on Anka Beecher before I ate dinner with my main nurse and his TV. I avoided reading to make sure I got to my dance classes in good time. {Smile}

After class, when I got back to my computer, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I got Seameownt, and did a real mission and a hunt, shifting to an easier zone partway through the hunt. I didn't gain a level. I started to settle down and noticed that a distant friend had said hi. I said hi back, even though it was a late reply. They invited me to sit in a farm they were doing. I got the three levels Seameownt could go up, then turned off experience. Hunts should be easier now! I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Seameownt. I quickly wrote a little in this before switching to making notes in this. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 25, 2026

 The night before Tuesday, I got to bed several minutes before 2 am. I made my first bedtime goal again. {Smile}

After breakfast, my relief nurse took me to Kamana Senior Center for my Creative Writing Class. I told my teacher and class about wanting to get "Snow in Hawai'i," the story I was working on earlier, ready to show a gal my cousin knows who's in publishing. They got excited and interested, which is such a relief! My teacher had been saying do something else, but she started talking about ways to get it ready. I am gratified, and excited to work on it. The rest of class went well too. My relief nurse took me home afterwards. {Smile}

I had breakfast with my relief nurse and his TV. We talked too much for me to read much. a while later, he took me to class. After I got back, I read Forward Day by Day. Then I settled onto my computer and went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Next, I checked the auction house on Aneira. I also talked with a friend before I went to the teen supergroup meeting on Aneira. I found Veronica and Jawsome roleplaying and joined them. Nyxy soon joined us. I checked with Jenny's player and Ulty, but neither were coming. We picked a taskforce from the ones with special rewards and debated inviting others before we ran it by ourselves. After the taskforce, Jawsome left for bed. I helped Pella and Veronica get the easier badges for a stat-improving badge before I had dinner with my main nurse, his TV, and _Overgeared 3_. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I wrote up Monday's daily update, with a break to read a few web comics, and check videos. I also answered Nox on Discord. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I talked with Dr. Faustus on Discord briefly. I also ran a few missions on the new account's Anka Beecher. finishing another contact. Then I worked on her storage before I checked Cross Stitch World. Next, I browsed comics and videos before I closed windows on my computer in preparation to write a little in this before I switched to making notes in this to write from later. I did take another break to read part of an article before finishing those notes. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 24, 2026

The night before Monday, I got to bed right around 2 am. As in it said 1:59, but I suspect that by the time I walked around the bed and adjusted the blankets, it was it might have been slightly later. This feels like barely missing my first bedtime goal. {Smile}

After breakfast, my relief nurse took me down to aunty Sally's Lu'au Hale for my Frist Timer's Line Dance class. I got there shortly before they began. I danced at least part of every dance, though I was slow getting back onto the dance floor a couple of times. Class let out a bit early, so I waited a little for my relief nurse to come pick me up. He took me straight home. {Smile}

I had breakfast with my relief nurse and his TV. I didn't read anything to speed breakfast and get to class on time. After I got back, I had lunch with my relief nurse, forward Day by Day, and _'Aumakua_. I finished the last story in _'Aumakua_. After lunch, I went onto my computer. I read articles, watched videos, and especially read web comics. Eventually I wrote up my daily update. I finished too late to go into City of Heroes: Homecoming before dinner, so I watched a couple more videos, including one I didn't finish before dinner. I ate with my relief nurse, his TV, and the characters descriptions in the back of _'Aumakua_, really finishing the volume. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I read webcomics and talked with Nox on Discord. Then I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and talked with Dr. Faustus. We teamed up with me on melee-ranged Olga. We did the last story arc I want her to do on the hero side of the game. She's a villain, but characters can cross back and forth, so mine do as immigrants and vacationers. When we were done, we left the heroes with some haste, returning to the villain area, where we did another story arc before we said goodnight. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on melee-ranged Olga. I also talked briefly with Kitten in the game. I am so glad to see them back! I really hope they enjoyed their weekend away. I also talked with Dr. Faustus on Discord, mainly about when Olga can go up in level, and how much. After that, I wrote in this. Then I broke to close windows on my computer and check Cross Stitch World, which I also played a little. Next, I made notes in this. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 23, 2026

The night before Sunday, I got the extra thing done early enough, I got to bed a little after 1:45 am. I got up at 8:45 am because church started at 10 am, so I got almost 7 hours of sleep and sleep-ready time. {Smile}

After breakfast, my main nurse took me down to church. I arrived during the processional, the hymn right after the announcements where the clergy and acolytes process in. It's the beginning of the service, so I was a little late, but it could be worse. I sat by myself and noticed that auntie Barbara was busy with Sunday school. She came and sat with me a while after they finished. I sat with her and some other parishioners during lunch. It was a small group, but we had enough food for everyone. Well, I mostly missed dessert, because I go back, and by then it was gone... but Auntie Barbara gave me part of a cookie.  My main nurse took me home afterwards. I played Cross Stitch World both on the way down, and on the way back. {Smile}

A while after I got back from church, I called my cousin Kim. We hadn't talked for two weeks because Hurricane Lala messed up last weekend, but Tropical Storm Moke didn't do nearly as much, so I called her. We had a lovely long talk, catching up on how each other and our loved ones are doing. {Smile}

I had breakfast with my main nurse and his TV. Then he took me to church. When we got back, I got onto my computer. I watched videos and read web comics. Maybe I read an article or two, too. Next, I called my cousin Kim. After the call, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I also checked the in-game auction house on Vincent Beecher. After that, a stranger walked up and invited me to a team. She said to read her character description. It said she was ten years old. It was a little hard to understand her non-standard spelling, but I tried teaming with her until she decided to leave. Then I settled Vincent Beecher, and talked with Nox on Discord, the chat server. I switched to Seameownt, and checked on my friends who play the game. Next, I was moving towards a mission when I spotted a double giant-monster fight being advertised. I joined it and helped to get both giant monsters. After that, I was called to dinner. I ate with my main nurse, his TV, Forward Day by Day, and _'Aumakua_. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I talked with Nox on Discord and read a few webcomics. Then I remembered it's the night to clean myself up. So, I stopped and did so, with the help of my main nurse. Next, I went back to my computer and City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and found Dr. Faustus. I was so relieved to find one of my friends who I often team with. We talked and teamed up. We did several mission Dr. Faustus had, getting a couple of badges on Ivy, my fourth best badge collector, and Topaz Proudfoot, my newest Hobbit since she's the highest-level character on my second account. We did some other missions afterwards, before we said goodnight. After that, I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Topaz. I also worked on Ivy's in-game auction house and storage, as well as updated her badge record. I checked on my friends who play the game, too. Then I checked Cross Stitch World and shut down windows on my computer. I wrote some of this, then switched to making notes. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 22, 2026

The night before Saturday, I was running what I thought was a good time to go to bed, so I tried doing a little extra to get ready for bed. I actually got to bed a little after 2 am. I guess I need to be making even better if I do the extra stuff. Well, now I know. {Smile}

I ate breakfast with my main nurse, his TV, and Forward Day by Day. Then I went onto my computer. I watched videos and read articles and web comics into lunch. During lunch I switched to writing the rest of Friday's daily update. When that was done, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, and messaged Div in email and Kitten, Pierogis, Dennis, and Shepherd on Discord, saying I was in the game. However, I believe Kitten and Dennis are busy this weekend, and the others didn't join me, either. Then I started to continue the story arc I'd last started on Vincent Beecher. As I was moving between two talks, I realized that Veronica's and Anya's player had said hi while I passed. I backed up to show her Vincent, and to just visit. I even got his wife, Aunt Iris. I have a moderately high-level Vincent on my main account, but it's bothered me that he and his wife always talk about each other while the other is off-screen, like detective Columbo and his wife in their respective shows. For the second time since I made them, I got her out, too, and started to do a little light roleplaying. This continued until my friend said goodbye before leaving with a trial. I went back to doing the story arc and finished it. I didn't really want to start the next story arc on my own, so I checked on my friends who play the game and worked with hid in-game auction house and storage. Then I collected a few badges, and nudged him up to the next level, where I turned off experience so I don't lose content before I can do it. I stopped for dinner with my main nurse, his TV, and _'Aumakua_. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I talked with Nox on Discord, then went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I said hi to Seb and we talked for a bit. Then I said hi to Ulty, Jenny's player, and Nyxy next, and talked with Ulty and Nyxy. I also got onto Seameownt. When the talk had run down, I did a regular mission, and found it much easier than the hunts, which were meant for characters at least a level higher. Next, I finished a hunt which was close to done. After that, I did another regular mission and finally gained a level. Now they're the minimum level for the hunts they still have. I wrote a tiny bit of "Snow in Hawai'i," the story I'm trying to finish after all. Then I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Seameownt, and also the in-game auction house on Vincent Beecher and another character, too. Next, I checked Cross Stitch World and closed windows on my computer before I wrote some of this. I browsed on Amazon during a break, after which I continued writing. After that, I broke to get ready for bed earlier than last night. I went back to make notes in this. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 21, 2026

The night before Friday, I didn't get to bed until a few minutes before 2:15 am. The next morning, I was moving distinctly slowly, so I took a nap after breakfast. Getting ready for it went late enough somehow that I got up shortly before lunch. {Smile}

My main nurse was out when I rose, so I had breakfast with the TV set to whatever the nurse had put on, and Forward Day by Day. My main nurse came back towards the end, and agreed I needed a nap, so I took one. After the nap, I settled at my computer and watched videos while I ate lunch. Then I wrote up Thursday's daily update before I went into City of Heroes; Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, and found Crash getting ready for the early long, large-group event. I told them about my new account. They were interested in establishing relations later. So, I worked on the beginning of the weekend auction house on a few characters while Crash did the early long, large-group event. When Crash was done, I showed Vincent Beecher to them and got all their accounts connected to his. I also got one more account of his connected to my main account. Next, we talked and roleplayed a bit before we said goodbye. I went to my villain supergroup meeting on melee ranged Olga, arriving first. Dr. Faustus soon joined me and we started to roleplay. Patience, Anya, our leader, and our most regular new member followed, each joining in the roleplaying and out of character visiting as well.  We did a strike force still chatting both out of character and in character. Then we broke up. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on melee ranged Olga, followed by more beginning of the weekend auction house until dinner. I ate with my main nurse, his TV, and _'Aumakua_. Thankfully, the politics that threw me off weren't as bad - or as political - as I feared the day before. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I read web comics and talked with Nox on Discord at some length. Then I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Next, I ran two story arcs on Vincent Beecher, finishing a multi-arc story. After that, I worked on his in-game auction house and storage, and checked others' auction house, as well. Then I wrote a tiny bit more in the new story, and a tiny bit in the story I'd worked on for creative writing until my teacher and I agreed to drop it. I'm wondering how to get feedback on it when I'm done, but I still think it's worth revisiting. Next, I checked Cross Stitch World. After that, I wrote some in this before switching to making notes to write from later. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King.

Daily Update, August 20, 2026

The night before Thursday, I got to bed a few minutes before 2:00 am. I made my first bedtime goal, which does feel good. {Smile}

I had online counselling that started with breakfast. We had quite a talk, largely about Hurricanes Lala, and whatever the next one is. I thought it went quite well. {Smile}

After lunch, my main nurse took me to Hilo Public Library. I played Cross Stitch World on the way down. I browsed both manga and American comic books. When I decided which of them I wanted to take home, I checked them out. I started reading _'Aumakua_, a comic featuring a Hawaiian superhero team while I waited for my main nurse to pick me up. I continued reading it on the way home. {Smile}

After counselling, I watched videos through lunch. Then came my trip to the library. After I got back, I read many web comics, catching up since I hadn't read some that I like to keep up with the day before. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game. I talked with Crash, the friend who made my computer, at length before I had dinner with my main nurse, his TV, Forward Day by Day, and more _'Aumakua_, The story took a turn right into state-level politics, but it didn't really resolve, and I don't know that they've followed up on it yet. {Smile}

After dinner, I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. Then I went back to my computer. I finished writing up Wednesday's daily update. Next, I talked with Nox on Discord before I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I made a new version of a character called Uncle Vincent on the new account. There I call him Vincent Beecher. I ran him through the tutorial. After that, I collected badges that got a badge with a useful power. Then I started a story arc on him. I stopped and did a bit of storage on him. Then I wrote in this. I stopped to make sure the new character started work on a passive badge. Next, I checked Cross Stitch World, playing a very tiny bit of it. I made notes in this, breaking to check _'Aumakua_'s name, and ended up browsing it before finishing my notes. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King.

Daily Update, August 19, 2026

The night before Wednesday, I got to bed right at 2 am. It was likely after, but not much after at all - possibly less than a minute. I'd still prefer to make my first bedtime goal of getting into bed before 2am, but if I have to miss it, this is the way to do it. {smile}

After dinner, my main nurse took me to the Church of the Holy Cross for my Ballroom Dance classes. To my delight, the room was open, the lights were on, and some of my fellow students were there. It was on, which makes it the first local event that I go to that wasn't outright cancelled this week. Church, my First Timer's Line Dance class, the monthly meeting, and my Creative Writing class were all cancelled. Even my Ballroom Dance Class on Friday won't meet, though that's because it's a holiday, not because of the hurricane that hit last weekend. Class went well. First was Nightclub Twostep. We went over each step we'd learned and added a new one to our repertoire. Cha-cha went well, too. we went over the latest two steps and added a new one that was trickier than most. I don't have that one down perfectly yet, but I think I'm getting there. {Smile}

I ate breakfast with my main nurse, his TV, and Forward Day by Day. Then I went onto my computer. I watched videos and read a few comics and articles right into lunch. After lunch, I switched to writing up the rest of Tuesday's daily update. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game. I didn't spot Div, but I did see Ulty, and talked with her a bit. I think she finally straightened me out about some things I was stubbornly misunderstanding about the teen superhero group. I hope things go better now. After that, I settled in on Topaz Proudfoot, starting her next round of contacts, and doing some hunts to get the contacts easier to interact with while I thought about what I'd misunderstood with Ulty. I remembered too late that Div said to email them if I went on early enough for them. I did tell Kitten, Dennis, Pierogies and Shepherd on Discord that I was in the game. Then I started a regular mission Topaz had. When She was mostly done, Pierogies came in and said hi. I finished the mission and switched to Seameownt, who Kitten designed. We teamed up to do one of my missions, then said goodnight because it was dinnertime for me, and bedtime for him. I ate dinner with my main nurse and his TV. I didn't read anything since that would slow me down in getting ready for my classes. {Smile}

After dinner, I went to class. When I got back, I got back onto my computer and into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I got onto Seameownt and checked my contacts. I confirmed what I thought I'd seen earlier: all Seameownt's contacts are new, and higher level. So, I turned on experience, and went around getting missions... hunts, if possible, which they usually were. I found it slow and difficult, since Seameownt is one level lower than most of those hunts are supposed to start. I did make progress, and even finished at least one, making it easier to work with that contact after this since she "gave me her phone number," which makes getting more missions easier. I worked on the in-game auction house and storage on Seameownt and Topaz Proudfoot. Next, I shut down windows on my computer. As I did, I found a short survey from my counselor and did it. After that, I wrote a little of this daily update. I took a break to check Cross Stitch World, then went back to make notes in this. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 18, 2026

The night before Tuesday, I actually tied things up early enough, that despite adding a step to my nightly routine, I got to bed several minutes before 2 am, nicely making my first bedtime goal. {Smile}

Before breakfast, I called the gal at Aloha Independent Living who runs the monthly meetings. She called back, but the phone didn't connect right. I moved to the spot my aunt swore had the best phone reception in the house, and we got a workable connection. I learned the meeting was called off this month. {Smile]

Then later in the morning, my relief nurse took me down to Kamana Senior Center for my Creative Writing class, since the answering machine said the day before that classes would resume that day. The building was all closed up, with only a few employee cars in the parking lot. My relief nurse checked and found a note that classes would resume later this week. I was surprised, but my relief nurse and I just returned home. {Smile}

I had a leisurely breakfast with Forward Day by Day, since I didn't have to go to the monthly meeting.  Later, I tried to go to my class. After we got back, I got onto my computer. I read comics and maybe read an article or witched a video. I broke for lunch with my relief nurse, his TV, and _Overgeared 3_. Then I went back to my computer and into City of Heroes: Homecoming to see if Div was around, since mutual friends said they were looking for me. I checked on my friends who play the game, and found Div. I showed them Topaz Proudfoot, my new Hobbit, and we established connections between their accounts and my new one, so we'll know if each other are on no matter which account we're on. We talked until I needed to take Aneira to her supergroup meeting, and Div could leave to wind down before bed. I went to the teen supergroup meeting slightly late on Aneira. Nyxy's Pella and Veronica were already there. Ulty and Jenny's player arrived soon after my Aneira did. Someone passed on that Jawsome was unavailable. So, we five ran a taskforce that gives particularly good rewards this week. Afterwards, we met in the supergroup base where we roleplayed until folks drifted off. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Aneira. Then I finished writing up Monday's daily update, finishing a little while after I was called to dinner. I ate with my relief nurse, his TV, and _Overgeared 3_. {Smile}

After dinner, I read some comics and talked with Nox on Discord. I also talked at some length with Ulty on Discord. Then I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I picked the character who I made to name my second account and ran content until she got the mission that she'd lose if she gained a level. I did that mission then ran some more missions, gaining that level and finishing one contact. I checked on my friends who play the game again, and spotted Dr. Faustus. I switched to Topaz Proudfoot and contacted Dr. Faustus. We teamed up and finished the story arc we'd started previously. Next, we said goodnight. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Topaz. Then I shut down windows on my computer, reading short comics and looking at Amazon as I did. I wrote a little in this and made many notes to write up the next day. Then I checked Cross Stitch World. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 17, 2026

The night before Monday, I got to bed a few minutes after 2 am. I missed even my first bedtime goal, but not by all that much. {smile}

Before breakfast, I looked up Kamana Senior Center and got a phone number for them. I called them, and reached Administration, which gave a slightly different number for their main office. I called that, and learned that they were closed Monday, but should reopen Tuesday. Then I called Safeway's Pharmacy and asked for a staff member. The gal assured me they were open, and that my Ozempic was ready for pickup. {Smile}

After breakfast, my relief nurse took me right down to Safeway. I picked up my Ozempic, and my main nurse picked something up too. Then my relief nurse took me back home. I gave myself my Ozempic less than half a day later than the usual time. For a once weekly injection, that's later than usual, but could be a lot worse. {smile}

After the phone calls, I had breakfast with my relief nurse. Technically the TV was on the Forward Day by Day was open, but the TV was so pixelated you could barely guess what was going on, making out a part of a head or something here and there. We were busy talking the whole time anyway. I did read forward Day by Day right after breakfast, while putting things away. Then we went down to get my medicine, which I took when I got home. Next, I had lunch with my relief nurse, his TV - which was working much better - and _Brigands and Breadknives_ by Travis Baldree. After that, I went onto my computer. I read web comics, with a few articles and videos mixed in. Then I copied the first scene of a new story that I'd started during the power failure into my computer. I got that printed out. Next, I copied a much longer freewriting piece into my computer and emailed it to my teacher. It doesn't seem like the kind of thing to read to the class, though I might be wrong. After that, I wrote up Sunday's daily update. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, and ran a character through the tutorial, getting them into the regular game just in time for dinner. I ate with my relief nurse and his TV. Since we were having tacos, I didn't have hands clean enough to turn the pages of a book, so I didn't try to read. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I ran another character through the tutorial, getting them into the regular game. I'd made them at the same time and the character I did that to before dinner. It's good to know they're at least in the main game. Next, I worked on Topaz's in-game auction house and checked on my friends who play the game again. I spotted Dr. Faustus and said hi. We talked and got together. We ran a mission they had that got Topaz and another character named Octavia Ballad a badge that they both need for a badge that will improve the characters when they get everything for it. After that, we ran another mission they had on Ivy, my fourth best badge collector and Topaz, getting another badge for Ivy, and almost getting it on Topaz. We said goodnight. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Ivy, as well as updating her badge record, since she's my fourth best badge collector. I worked on auction house and storage on Topaz, too. Then I checked Cross Stitch World and closed windows on my computer. I wrote most of this, and made notes for the rest of this, with a pause to go back to City of Heroes: Homecoming to check Seameownt's auction house. After finishing notes in this, I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King.

Daily Update, August 16, 2026

The night before Sunday, I don't precisely know when i got to bed. My phone's battery was so drained, it wouldn't turn on. My best guess is that it was roughly around 1:45 am. I got up when I was awake, and my nurse said it was 8:30. His phone was dead, too, but his watch worked. He recommended a nap after breakfast, and I took him. I got up on my own, uncertain if he let me sleep longer despite my request to be woken in an hour or not, even though I I explained that my most common reason to sleep longer is a migraine I'm better off treating sooner rather than later. {small smile}

The power was still off when I got up. My nurse refused to go to church, saying it was called off. That was later confirmed, and I was told it had been called off before the storm. I guess I missed the announcement. I didn't push too hard; I know he's got more emergency response training than I do. I ate breakfast with my main nurse, Forward Day by Day, and _Brigands and Breadknives_ by Travis Baldree. Then I took that nap. After my nap, the power came on just after my left hearing aid made the powering down noise and stopped working, as it does when it runs out of power. I sat at my computer with no hearing aids, but their charger beside me with both in it. Everything sounded muffled, but if one was dead, the other wasn't too far behind. I also plugged in my phone to charge, since it was totally drained. I checked texts and answered the Daughters of the King and my cousin Kim, who'd asked if I was okay. I also checked Cross Stitch World. Then I wrote a quick note about being back from a power failure. I shared mostly where I share my daily updates to let them know I was running late because of a power failure, but otherwise okay. {Smile}

Then I had lunch while I read web comics, mainly; I may have read an article or watched a video or two, but I mainly read web comics. I continued reading web comics after lunch. Next, I finished writing up Friday's daily update and shared it. After reading more web comics, I started to copy Saturday's daily update. I paused for a phone call with Sana. We made sure each other were okay and talked about what we've been doing. It was shorter than most of our phone calls, but it still wasn't short. After that, I continued to copy Saturday's daily update, with breaks to check things and read webcomics. I was mostly done when my main nurse called me to dinner. I ate with my main nurse, his TV, and _Brigands and Breadknives_ by Travis Baldree.

After dinner, I went back to my computer and finished Saturday's daily update. Then I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. Next, I went back to my computer and into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game for the first time since Friday. After that, I altered one character's costumes. A friend invited me to a taskforce. I ran it on Seameownt, the character Kitten designed. Dr. Faustus said hi during it. I switched to Topaz right after the taskforce and started her next story arc with Dr. Faustus. We did two hunts and a couple of not-too-long missions. We stopped right before the next mission, which is pretty long. It's not short even if you know how to shorten it and do so. Then I worked on the in-game auction house and storage on Topaz, followed by the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Seameownt. Next, I shut down windows on my computer and wrote a bit in this before switching to making notes. Near the end I remembered and did some more of the in-game auction house on Seameownt and checked Cross Stitch World. I ended my day with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 15, 2026

The night before Saturday, I got to bed only a few minutes after 2 am. That's significantly better than the previous night, but I still missed even my first bedtime goal. At least this time I got a nap in the afternoon. It was slightly shorter than usual, but I got up when I felt rested out. {Smile}

Not long after that nap, the power went out. We blame the winds of Hurricane Lala. It was in the middle of the afternoon. The modem went out, too, and my phone only found the internet occasionally. I drained it so dry it wouldn't turn on by late evening. I was just trying to let friends know that nothing worse was wrong than a power failure. At least I succeeded with Nox, Radio, Haiden, Kitten, Pierogies, Dennis, and Shepherd. As night fell, I couldn't see the glow of the town below us from the living room. I thought I did later, and even showed my main nurse, but we think it was moonlight finally coming out as the clouds thinned. This power failure was pretty widespread. The power was still out when I went to bed. {smile}

I ate breakfast with my main nurse, his TV, and Forward Day by Day. I tried to start _Overgeared 3_ but gave up. Then I went onto my computer. I mainly read web comics, articles and short videos, right through lunch. Then I tried to write Friday's daily update. As I struggled to concentrate, I realized that I really needed a nap. So, I took one. After my nap, I went back onto my computer. I wrote some of Friday's daily update until the power went out about a paragraph in. I tried to continue, but the modem went out with the power, so I couldn't save. So, I shifted to the living room, which had the best light on a day made dim by Hurricane Lala. I free wrote about journalling for my Creative Writing Class. I mainly told about these daily updates, since they're most of the journalling I do these days. I finished shortly before dinner. {Smile}

I ate with my main nurse and restarted _Brigands and Breadknives_ by Travis Baldree after I determined that comics like manga (Japanese) and manhwa (Korean) are hard to read by camping lantern while eating. I continued reading it there for over an hour after dinner, pausing to message friends on Discord, and accidentally eating almost all the power on my phone's battery. My phone just kept trying until the messages went out, which took quite a while in some cases. Then I moved to the living room, where I wrote Saturday's daily update up to this point. I also talked to my main nurse, especially when I spotted a glow in the sky. I thought it was the glow of the town but later realized it was probably moonlight finally piercing the cloud cover. If it had been the town lights, that would have said they were beginning to restore power. I also read more of _Brigands and Breadknives_ by Travis Baldree and added to this. Next, I discovered that comics aren't bad to read by camping lantern, as long as the camping lantern is closer to the book, and both are closer to the reader than dinner really allows. I read _The Savior's Book Cafe Story in Another World 3_, actually finishing it. I read most of the comic, and a text-only short story at the end. After that, I wrote one short scene to start a new story for my creative writing class. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 14, 2026

The night before Friday, I got to bed a little before 2:15. That's a pretty bad failure of all bedtime goals these days, but I blame moving more slowly after the dental appointment. I still notice it a little, though I am recovering. {smile}

After breakfast, my main nurse took me to Kamana Senior Center for my Ballroom Dance Class. I answered stuff on Discord and in my personal texts, then played a little Cross Stitch World on my way down. I arrived late and rested more. I still don't have all my energy back. I still found the energy to dance for much of the session. I did warn each partner that I was a little slow as we started, so they wouldn't be surprised. I practiced all the beginner moves, even the shines. I heard about Hurricane Lala in class. It seems to be passing to the south. The heavy rains at the outside edge of such a storm started during class, I think. Since then, we've gotten a fair bit of rain, but not much wind at all. After class, my main nurse took me home. I drowsed on the way, since I was tired between dancing and the late night the night before. {smile}

After lunch, I got out my laptop for my online counselling appointment. I thought it went pretty well. HMSA's system works fine with the laptop, which Carol installed Windows 11 on, so we were able to concentrate on what we wanted to talk about.  {Smile}

After I got back from class, I went onto my computer. I read web comics over lunch, possibly with a short video or two. Then came my counselling session. Next, I finished a novel sample on Amazon. After that, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming and straight to my villain supergroup meeting on melee ranged Olga. Patience and Dr, Faustus were already there. Anya, our leader on an alternative character, and the most regular new member came shortly. Dr. Faustus picked a strike force. I checked and found that it was the last strike force Hezabell had never done. So, I ran it on her with them. We ran late, so Dr. Fautus ducked out for a while to go to work but was able to come back for the end so they didn't miss out on the special rewards. After that, the group quickly broke up. Then I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Hezabell until dinner. I ate with my main nurse, his TV, Forward Day by Day, and stayed late to finish _Overgeared 2_. {Smile}

After dinner, I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse, who expressed concern about me. I didn't think I did anything unusual, so I hope it really concern for Lala, which was intensifying from a tropical storm into a hurricane. Then I went back to my computer. I finished Thursday's daily update, with a break for two web comics, and a longer break for two videos. I went back into City of Heroes: Homecoming late. I found Kitten, and we teamed up. We did more of the story arc we'd started, but we didn't finish, since we started so late. I checked Cross Stitch World and played a little. I also talked with Kitten about the story arc. Next, I closed windows on my computer. After that, I wrote a little in this and mostly made notes here. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Quick update

I'm sorry that Friday's daily update is late. Hurricane Lala knocked out power between 3pm and 4pm Saturday afternoon, and came back on less than an hour ago, after 11 am Sunday morning. I will work on finishing Friday and copying Saturday, which I got down with pen and paper, but needs to be copied into the computer. Then I'll feel caught up. It's been interesting. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 13, 2026

The night before Thursday, I got to bed a few minutes before 2 am, so I made my first bedtime goal again. I hope I'm getting the hang on this. {Smile}

At breakfast, I set up my laptop and looked in my email for the link to my counselling appointment. I didn't find it, so I checked my phone. I found a text from my counsellor saying she had a medical appointment of her own that conflicted with mine. She offered two on Friday, the very next day. 10 am conflicted with my ballroom dance class, but 2 pm technically stops just as my villain supergroup meeting begins. I took that one. After confirming it, I told the supergroup I'm likely to be late in their Discord. {Smile}

After lunch, my main nurse took me to my dentist's office. My dentist took out a crown and cleaned up all the decay under it. Then he took a mold and had me wait in the waiting room. He called me back and put in the permanent crown after a wait. I assume that 3D printing was involved. Afterwards, my main nurse took me home. I played Cross Stitch World in the car down and back, and a lot in the waiting room, while waiting for them to call me back in. This was possible because they let me charge my phone while they worked on the tooth for the first part. It was almost drained on the way down, but not after that. {Smile}

After learning counselling was off, I ate breakfast with my main nurse, his TV, Forward Day by Day, and _Overgeared 2_. Then I went onto my computer, and read articles and web comics, and watched videos through an early lunch. Next, we went off to my dentist. When I got back, I watched more videos and read more webcomics, along with reading a book sample on Amazon. After that, I wrote up part of Wednesday's daily update until dinner with my main nurse, his TV, and _The Savior's Book Cafe Story in Another World 3_. I just wasn't in the mood for _Overgeared 2_ after the samples on Amazon. Their tone was closer to _The Savior's Book Cafe Story in Another World 3_. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I finished writing Wednesday's daily update. Then I answered Nox on Discord, chatting a bit. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and hunted on Topaz Proudfoot. Dr. Faustus joined me. We did some of my hunts, and I slipped in some auction house. After that, we did a couple of Dr. Fasutus's mission that got badges, though I didn't do that well in the second mission. I suspect because I wasn't feeling well, which I should have warned Dr. Faustus about, but I don't think I did. {rueful look} Then we did part of a story arc of mine before switching to the next story in a series we've been working on.  We finished that and talked as we said goodnight. I worked on the in-game auction house and storage on Topaz. Next, I wrote in this and made notes in this. I took a break to check Cross Stitch World, to close windows on my computer, and to check on my friends who play in City of Heroes: Homecoming. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. I finished late; I'm moving slowly after the dental work. {smile}

Daily Update, August 12, 2026

The night before Wednesday, I got to bed a few minutes after 2 am. I missed my first bedtime goal again. I'll just have to work harder. {rueful smile}

After dinner, my main nurse took me down to the Church of the Holy Cross for my ballroom dance classes. I played cross Stitch World on the way down. We got there just before they opened up. We went in when they did. I chatted with some and played a little Cross Stitch World while I waited. I enjoyed both nightclub two step and cha-cha. Then my main nurse took me back home. I finished my water and played Cross Stitch World on the way home. {Smile}

I had breakfast with my main nurse, his TV, Forward Day by Day, and _Overgeared 2_. Then I went onto my computer. I read articles, and comics and watched videos. Then I started writing Tuesday's daily update just before lunch. I tried to continue through lunch, but it's hard to type with a fork in one hand. So, I went back to reading comics and watching videos. A while after lunch, I phoned Mom's lawyer and found out they're further along than I thought. I also began a project my financial adviser asked me to do and started an email to her about it. Next, I finished Tuesday's daily update. After that, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Seeing Pierogies, I said hi, and we talked. He'd just joined the later long, large-group event, and was waiting for it to begin. I joined him. We ran it with the group. I chose Ethna O'Keefe, an endgame character, but no ranked badge collector or anything. Pierogies and I talked a bit after, while I did the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on her. Then I left for dinner with main nurse and his TV. {Smile}

After dinner, I went to my dance classes. After I got back, I went onto my computer. I answered Nox on Discord. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game. Next, I got Topaz, and decided which new contacts to start, since she's at a level where she gets some. I did a hunt or two, getting her up a level. After that, I realized Dr. Faustus had said hi. We talked, and I found out they'd said hi 40 minutes before. Oops. I want to watch more carefully than that! Anyway, we squeezed in a mission and some roleplaying despite it being almost time to quit. After we finished a little late, I did some storage on her. Then I checked Cross Stitch World and played a bit. Next, I added an update on Mom's lawyer in the email to my financial adviser. I wrote a tiny bit in this, then made many notes, pausing to check City of Heroes: Homecoming, where I got a few badges for Topaz. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King.

Daily Update, August 11, 2026

The night before Tuesday, I got to bed several minutes before 2 am. I made my first bedtime goal with a comfortable margin. I'm pretty happy with that. {Smile}

A while before lunch, my relief nurse took me down to Kamana Senior Center for my Creative Writing Class. I got there when just the teacher and a student from the last class was there. I talked with the teacher before class. I'm wondering about some frustration I sense from her. It's pushing me in a direction I wasn't thinking of going yet... but maybe that's just being in a class that's not exactly a match to what I want to write. she wants memoirs. I keep thinking about fiction. Anyway, the class went fairly well. We got a new sound system which did help us hear more people when they contributed. I think we heard our teacher better, too. The lecture went long enough that we skipped the freewriting to give enough time for sharing and getting feedback. only one member of my group had something to share, but it was long enough, it filled our time comfortably. After class, my relief nurse picked me up. We got small cones from Kosmic Cones, and ran another errand on the way home. {Smile}

I had breakfast with my relief nurse, his TV, Forward Day by Day, and _Overgeared 2_, After an otherwise leisurely morning, I went to class. After we got back from class, I went onto my computer. I wrote a little more of Monday's daily update and went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, and went to my teen supergroup meeting on Aneira Lloyds, my highest-level member. Nyxy came in and said hi. Jawsome joined in; he might have been there when I came in, but I didn't spot him if so. Anyway, we roleplayed. Ulty joined us in roleplaying. We roleplayed a little more, then tried to get a taskforce that gets special rewards under certain circumstances this week.  However, it required a story arc no one had done. We decided to do the story arc together. Jenny's player joined at the last moment. Now all the characters who were there can get the taskforce. One did, and we did the taskforce. Afterwards, the group broke up fairly quickly. I checked on my friends who play the game, and worked ont he in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Aneira until dinner. I had spaghetti with my relief nurse, his TV and _Overgeared 2_. {Smile}

After dinner, finished Monday's daily update. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, and found Kitten and Dennis teamed up together. We teamed up with me on Ana Marcelino, my second-best badge collector. I tried to find a mission that gave a badge Ana and settled on a story arc that gave a badge she needed. We three ran it, Next, Dennis left for bed. Kitten showed me a story arc with more talking than usual, and a character they really love. We did the first two mission twice, then the second mission. After that, we talked while I did the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Ana, and updated her badge record. We talked most of the time and continued after I was done. We finally said goodnight, and I closed windows on my computer. Then I wrote in this a while before switching to making notes to write from later. I also took a break to check Cross Stitch World. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 10, 2026

 The night before Monday, I got to bed shortly before 2 am. I met my bedtime goal again. {Smile}

After breakfast, my relief nurse took me down to Kamana Senior center for my Frist Timer's Line Dance class. I arrived early, so I had time to visit with a couple of the other students. I thought the class went well. I did all the dances, including at least part of every "break dance," which is a dance we do when the teacher declares a break, then starts dancing, usually not on the stage he dances on during the official class dances. He also gives less instruction than the regular dances. If you can follow along, you're encouraged to. If you need a break, or can't keep up, you don't have to. After class, my relief nurse took me to the ice cream parlor in Liliu'okalani Gardens. I picked out a chocolate fudge popsicle. the clerk pointed out a new flavor: cookies and cream. I got one and had that on the way home. It was more or less Oreo flavored, which wasn't a surprise. After I got home, my relief nurse put my chocolate fudge popsicle into the freezer for a later date. {Smile}

That afternoon, I had a bunch of phone calls. I called my doctor and left a message on their answering machine letting them know that infection I'd told them about is getting better more slowly than we'd hoped. Then I left a message on my financial adviser's machine asking to talk to her. She called back later, and we had a nice talk about things we each need to work on. I hope I'm finally ready to actually work on things. {Smile}

I also called my cousin Kim, and we had a nice long talk. We caught up with each other and her pets. She even suggested seeing what someone she knows thinks of my writing. I sent her a copy of the story I'd been working on earlier this year and last year in my class. I realized I can keep more than I feared if I keep the original audience mix, even if I add a segment. This has renewed my interest in working on it. I lost interest when I thought I had to throw out the middle for a different audience, but embellishing it is okay. {Smile}

After I got back home from class, I had lunch with my relief nurse, his TV, FDBD and _Overgeared 2_. Then I went onto my computer. I read articles and webcomics and watched videos. Then I did the phone calls. I watched more videos and read more webcomics before I wrote up Sunday's daily update. I broke from that when I was called for dinner. I ate with my relief nurse. his TV, and _Overgeared 2_, carefully turning pages with a finger that I kept clean despite the tacos I was eating. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer and finished Sunday's daily update. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I found Kitten and Dennis still playing, so I got Valentine Matos, a still-developing endgame character, and teamed up with them. We did one mission of mine, and a few missions of Dennis's, since I didn't remember to renew my missions until later. Then Dennis left for bed. Kitten said they were tired, then went quiet, eventually fading out. So, I worked on the auction house and storage on Valentina. Next, I took a break to read a bit of a story on Amazon. I eventually stopped before I was finished, because I had a few more ideas for freewriting. I sent it to my teacher for this week. After that, I went to Discord, and wrote to Dr. Faustus, apologizing for not being on when I usually am, and too late to team up. However, they thought we could team up to do the next mission for Topaz Proudfoot and her friends. We did, though we skipped some parts that folks usually do. I got a badge and finished the story arc we'd started the previous night. Then we said goodnight. I fixed up Topaz's storage and trained her for another level. Next, I closed windows on my computer and wrote a fair bit in this before switching to making notes to write from later. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 9, 2026

The night before Sunday, I got to bed a few minutes before 2 am. I still got up at 1:45 am to try to get to church a bit earlier, so I didn't get seven hours of down time, but I fixed that with a nap a while after I got home from church. {Smile}

After breakfast, my main nurse took me down to church. I arrived during the processional, the very first hymn. It is just after the announcements, so I was late, but not very. I sat with Auntie Barbara. We enjoyed the service. For lunch after the service, I sat with her and a couple of other parishioners. I mostly listened to them talk. Afterwards, my main nurse took me home. I drowsed both on the way down and on the way back. {Smile}

After I got back, I talked with my housekeeper, who'd come with her husband. I went onto my computer to share Dad's recipes with her over two emails, since the first didn't seem to work. Then, after a nap, I made sure she'd gotten Dad's recipes; the second email worked. I must say the house is better for her attentions, and her husband's help with the laundry. {Smile}

I had breakfast with my main nurse and his TV. After my nap after I got back home from church, I got back onto my computer. I read comics and watched videos. Then I wrote up Saturday's daily update before I with into City of Heroes: Homecoming late. I found Dennis. We chatted and teamed up. We worked on a mission which he wanted to farm, not finish. I left for dinner with my main nurse, his TV, Forward Day by Day, and _Overgeared 2_. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I read comics and watched videos. Then I talked with Nox on Discord. I said goodnight to Dennis by Discord, since he had to leave because it was late. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I said hi to Dr Faustus and got out Topaz Proudfoot. I fooled around while he finished a taskforce or something similar. Next, we teamed up. We finished the story arc we'd started and did most of the sequel story arc... or at least half of it. We stopped right before the big finale, which might take half the time this usually takes. After that we said goodnight. I did some storage on Topaz, and costuming on a version of her that I don't need as her, turning her into an elf. I usually don't care for elves, but it fit with a power of hers better than my more usual gnomes, dwarves, and halflings. Then I took a break before shutting down windows. Next, I wrote in this, swiftly changing to making notes in this. I checked Cross Stitch World, too, before I said the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King to finish my evening. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 8, 2026

The night before Saturday, I got to bed a few minutes after 2 am again. I thought I was running earlier, but somehow not. {small smile}

I had breakfast with my main nurse, his TV, and forward Day by Day. After breakfast, I went onto my computer. I read articles and comics and watched videos through lunch and well into the afternoon. I did take a break to play a character on the new account who I made to give the account her name. I finally got her out of the tutorial, and up a few levels. I even got her some boosts to help her for a while. Then I got into reading a story sample on Amazon that kept me reading, fascinated, but was too expensive to buy so I could continue. After the story, I wrote up Friday's daily update, finishing right at dinner time. I had dinner with my main nurse, his TV, and _Overgeared 2_.

After dinner, I went back to my computer and into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I also talked with Nox on Discord. Then I checked on my friends in City of Heroes: Homecoming again. I started to play Topaz Proudfoot. I got back to the story arc she'd started the other night. I got invited to another story arc someone was doing while I was doing the last mission. I finished my mission and story arc and joined them. Dr. Faustus said hi during the first mission, which went fine. I asked them to join us. The leader added them after a mission that went pretty well. The next two missions were much harder; hard enough for Dr. Faustus to leave in disgust afterwards. Or they would have if the group hadn't broken up before they could. I already meant to join them, so the quick dispersal worked for me. We did some of my missions, finishing the less connected stuff I wanted Topaz to do, and starting a story arc that we both enjoy. We also did one mission to start another contact. Next, we said goodnight. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Topaz. I checked the character I'd played earlier. After that, I free-wrote at length for my class. Then I did a tiny bit of writing in this before I switched to making notes for most of it. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 7, 2026

The night before Friday, I got to bed just a couple minutes after 2am. I missed even my first bedtime goal, but not by much. I know I need to try harder. {smile}

After breakfast, my main nurse took me down to Kamana Senior Center for my Ballroom Dance: Mambo class. I played Criss Stitch World on the way down. Class went well. I think I have all but one step down even when dancing by myself. I'm still working on the hammerlock. I first did it when I was six or seven, and really practiced it through most of my teens, but it depends on the arms so much, it's hard to keep track of the foot moves without a partner. I plan to keep at it. I eventually figured out how to shadow a crossbody lead, another step where the arms are important and it's really hard to keep track of the feet without a partner. After class, my main nurse took me back home. I played Cross Stitch World on the way home. {Smile}

After I got back from class, I confirmed that my main nurse had returned the overdue library book with a hold on it. Then I got onto my computer. I read articles and watched videos through lunch and into the afternoon. I also wrote some of Thursday's daily update before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and went to the villain supergroup meeting. Seb was already there, so we started roleplaying. Dr. Faustus joined us, and our most regular new member. We continued roleplaying, and visited out-of-character, too. The leader joined us, as did Anya at the last moment. We ran a strike force together, chatting both in-character and out-of-character along the way. Next, the group broke up. I worked on the beginning-of-the-weekend auction house on a few characters. After that, I ran that story arc I'd done on Ana the other night two more times, getting four more badges. I did some crafting on her and auction house and storage on Olivia Ragnarson, then set Ana to working passively on a badge while I had dinner with my main nurse, his TV, and forward Day by Day. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer and City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked the in-game auction house on a few characters. Michiel said hi, and asked to join me. I picked a story arc on Aneira, my higher-level teen supergroup member, and we did the first mission together. Then he said goodnight and left. Next, Dennis said hi on Discord. We teamed up and did a mission of his. We did two in the story arc I'd started with Michiel next, but the second glitched, I think. I found out later that we missed the only battle in it. So, Dennis called it boring, and we ran one of his before we said goodnight and he left. I checked Cross Stitch World, and my friends who play City of Heroes on Homecoming. After that, I got Topaz Proudfoot and did a hunt. Then I started a story arc on her. Next, I worked on the in-game storage on her, Aneira, Ana, and Olivia, and updated Ana's badge record. After that, I did a little shopping on Amazon before I wrote a little in this and made many notes in this. I took a break in writing notes to shop a little more on Amazon. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 6, 2026

 The night before Thursday, I got to bed just a few minutes before 2 am. i made my first bedtime goal. {Smile}

In the afternoon, well after lunch, my main nurse took me down to the Hilo branch of Hawai'i Public Library. I read _Overgeared 1_ on the way down. I returned _Wonder Cat Kyuuchan 5_. then found a place to sit and finished _Overgeared 1_. Then I picked out a few books and figured out which I actually wanted to take home. I returned the others to a cart and went to check out my picks. They informed me that two books were overdue. However, one could be renewed, and they did so before I quite asked. The other, though has a hold on it, so it can't be renewed. I asked which one it was. They said _Frieren: Journey's End_. I asked again which one it was, and they repeated _Frieren: Journey's End_. I explained that I have three volumes by that title, so I need to know more than the series. They said number 3, and I promised to bring it soon. then I sat and read _Fairy Cat 1_ until my main nurse came and got me. I was over halfway through and read more on the way home. When I got home, I found the three Frieren books and gave both manga - 2 and 3 - to my main nurse to return while I'm at class. I kept the light novel for now. {Smile}

After breakfast, I got onto my computer. I watched videos and read comics and a few articles. I did take a break to check the auction house for Topaz Proudfoot but otherwise continued right through lunch. In the afternoon, I started writing up the rest of Wednesday's daily update. I stopped for our trip out. When I got back, I finished writing up Wednesday's daily update. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and said hi to Dennis and Kitten. Dennis responded, inviting me to the team he had going with Kitten. I got Serena Bianchi, who's working on the badge at least Dennis was working on, I had her using a hero name, but Kitten had the same bad association that Dennis did a while back. I really need to find a better name. We ran a mission before Kitten left for the late long, large-group event. Then Dennis and I did one more mission that ended right as I was called to dinner. I ate with my main nurse, his TV, _Fairy Cat 1_, which I actually finished, and _Overgeared 2_, which I barely started. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer to shop on Amazon before I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. Then I went back to my computer again. I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game. I found Kitten in an extra tough zone on a full team. I got out Ana Marcelino, my second-best badge collector, and joined them when a spot opened up. We ran a couple of missions before the team broke up. Next, I talked with Kitten, and we ran four more missions, getting both of us a badge we both didn't have. After that, we hunted "pinatas", finding the two I still needed for another badge. We ran a story arc, getting her three more badges, but Kitten went quiet before the last mission started. I waited, but eventually ran it without them, and got the three badges. Then I took a break, checking Cross Stitch World among other things, hoping Kitten would come back. They faded out instead. So, I ran it again for two more badges. It was too late to continue, so I left two more runs and four more badges for another day. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting Ana had accumulated. I also updated Ana's badge record; she got nine badges that day, I think. I did a little storage on Olivia Ragnarson, too. Next, I played a little Cross Stitch World as part of a break. After that I wrote in this, switching to making notes to finish. I closed windows in the middle of taking notes. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 5, 2026

The night before Wednesday, I got to bed just after 2 am. I missed my first bedtime goal, but not by much. {small smile}

After dinner, my main nurse took me down to the Church of the Holy Cross for my Ballroom Dance classes. I played Cross Stitch World on the way down, despite a low phone battery. I arrived a bit early, and settled in. That included plugging in my phone to charge during class. Then our main Nightclub Twostep teacher asked to dance it with me. We reviewed the known moves and tried a few new once. I thought I did pretty well. I also thought I did even better when we covered them in class, so I knew what to expect. That went pretty well. So did cha-cha, though we were slowing down as the evening failed to cool down as quickly as dancing heated us up. My main nurse took me back home. I drank the water I hadn't gotten to during class, then played Cross Stich World the rest of the way. {Smile}

After breakfast, I got onto my computer I read comics and a couple of articles and watched some videos. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming to check their auction house on Topaz Proudfoot. Next, I wrote up Tuesdays' daily update over and after lunch, with breaks to look at comics. This went into the afternoon, but I did get back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I said hi to Kitten, but they disappeared. I also said hi to Jenny's player and got one of her accounts connected to my new account. After that, I checked and worked with the auction house on Topaz Proudfoot. I tried to find something for Ana to get badges, but what I found was that Kitten was back, and somewhat responsive. We joined a trial they were interested in, with me on Frederica Fernandes, my ninth-ranked badge collector, the first I found who didn't have all the badges. She got all three badges from this trial in one run. Then I switched back to Ana. Kitten helped me get two more badges on her. Somewhere in there, I got Jenny's Player's other account connected to my new account. After getting the badges with Kitten, I had dinner with my main nurse and his TV before we headed out to my classes. {Smile}

When I got back, I got back onto my computer and into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I said hi to Dr. Faustus. We talked a little, but they were busy with a taskforce. So, I checked the auction house on Topaz Proudfoot. Then I checked what she could do next, and got the appealing stuff started. Dr. Faustus got free, and we teamed up, and did several of Topaz's missions. Next, we said goodnight. I worked on the in-game auction house and storage on Topaz, then updated Ana's badge record. After that, I checked Cross Stitch World and closed windows on my computer before I wrote in this, quickly switching to making notes to write from later. All while still chatting with Dr. Faustus intermittently. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}
