Daily Update, March 10, 2026

The night before Tuesday, I went to bed a little after 2 am. I felt reasonably good when I got up at 9 am the next morning. I had relatively little blood sugar trouble making me tired or anything. {Smile}

After breakfast, I tried to print out a few copies of my story for my Creative Writing Class. However, I couldn't sign into Google Docs. When I clicked the button to sign in, it called up a new instance of the website instead every time. So, all I could do was tell my class that. {spread hands}

A little later, my substitute relief nurse took me to my Creative Writing Class. We had a good session, including a potluck lunch because it was the last day of this session. I thought I hadn't brought anything, but realized I could set out my salad, and did so at the last moment. I also talked with the instructor.  She wants me to really tighten my story so that it fits into a picture book. I don't know if I can, but I'll try. My substitute relief nurse took me home afterwards. {Smile}

I finished writing up Monday's daily update on the way down to class and back, but the website refused to update. It warned me more than once that if I left that page, all work would be lost. So, when I got home, I called it up on my computer. Sure enough, it had the notes, not the paragraphs. I had to copy changes in by hand, though that was easier than writing it over again. I did read a couple of articles and a few comics to settle in first, before all the copying. {Smile}

As I finished, I realized I was slightly late to my teen supergroup meeting, though I wouldn't have been before the clocks changed. When most of the nation shifts to daylight savings time, Hawai'i doesn't. When scheduling things online, where folks can be in different time zones, meetings effectively move back an hour for me, then forward later in the year. So, I dashed off to the meeting without sharing the update I'd just finished. I dashed into City of Heroes: Homecoming and into the meeting. I checked on my friends who play the game while getting going. I found three others waiting, including the fellow who's usually there, Nyxy's character, and a less frequent gal. Ulty, our leader, still wasn't feeling up to it. We did a story arc Aneira, my higher-level teen sg member, had. Pierogies and Kitten said hi, but I was busy playing with the others. The less frequent member left when she was just too tired. The rest of us stuck it out, leaving as soon as it was done. I think they left for bed; I went to dinner, where I read Forward Day by Day.  {Smile}

After dinner, I shared Monday's daily update before I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I started with the auction house and storage Aneira's play earlier produced. I checked on my friends who play the game next. Dr. Faustus said hi, and we teamed up and finished the last contact for the new, ranged version of Olga, my lower-level villain supergroup member. Then we fought a giant monster to get her a few experience points. We didn't get many, so we did two story arcs, which did get her a level which made her eligible for more content. Then we said goodnight. I quickly levelled her and did a quick round of auction house and storage. Next, I wrote a tiny bit of this, and made notes for the rest of it, with minimal breaks to check short comics and Cross Stitch World. After that I read two longer web comics. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer and the Daughters of the King's prayer. {Smile}
