Today was Sunday, so after breakfast, I contacted Uber, and a nice man come and took me to church. I actually arrived a little early and got to visit with the woman who's talking about losing her cat inspired me to tell of losing Valentine last week. {Smile}
The service was nice. There wasn't much food after the service, but I found the bottle of nuts I'd left, and brought it out, and another gal had a dish. There was also a plate probably left over from earlier. the conversation was very good, though. {Smile}
I actually got two offers of rides, from the gal who took me home last week, and Ed. The gal asked first, so I went home with them. {Smile}
I ate dinner with Mom on Saturday and read to her before that. I started with scripture and thoughts about it first. Next, I read a birthday card from her sister, and a Christmas card from her niece. Then I read the next several pages of _the Picture Book of Kids and Animals_. She seemed particularly interested in this one. After that, I read a story from _365 Bedtime Stories and Rhymes_. I finished our reading with “In the Evening,” the 29th of October's story from _366 Stories for Bedtime_. It was evening on the farm, and the animals were settling down for the night. the farmer's wife was milking the last cow. The horse had finished his oats, and was standing with head drooping, tired from pulling the cart all day. The pigs were making noises. Were the piglets squabbling again? The farmer's little girl was throwing grain to the cock and his hens before shutting them up to protect them from the fox. The dog barked, and the cat lapped their milk. {Smile}
I did my arm swinging exercises and my head exercises while waiting for Uber to come get me and take me to church. They're having longer waits again, which is good for fitting in those two exercises - the only ones with no equipment required. then I did my walking exercises and arm resistance exercises after teaming for part of the evening. Then I did my salsa dancing warmup set, then the less structured set after a break. I meant to do more, but I was tired after the second set. Food helped me, so it might have been my blood sugar, but I didn't get it fixed in time to do more. {smile}
When I got home from church, I read articles and comics before hopping into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked some paperwork first. then I found Kitten, Pierogies, and Paradox, and teamed up with them to do the next warshade arc. Paradox switched characters partway through the arc. We worked on that arc the whole afternoon and finished it with a little time to spare before I like to read to Mom, so we started one more mission. That ended a little late, but I still got a full reading in.
After dinner, I looked at articles and comics, and wrote a little of this. Then I chatted with Paradox on the chat server, and hopped back into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I chatted with Paradox some more on the chat server before he came in. Then we chatted int eh game while he fixed up a character. Then we teamed up. We did a mission together and started another. I started chatting with Nox on the chat server, and they warned me it was late, and they didn't expect to be on much longer. Surprised, I checked the clock. I expected to see it was around 9pm. It was a little after 10:30 pm. Paradox and I must have taken a lot longer to start playing than I realized. I told Paradox this was my last. He suggested we quit because it would be long and slow. Instead, I did it sneakily, like it's really written to be done, instead of fighting our way through like we were doing. Kitten came on just as I was going off. They were surprised how fast it had gotten late, too. Maybe it was the day. I said goodnight to Nox. I read articles and started a new web novel around and after the exercises and dancing, as well as writing some of this, and making notes to finish writing this the next day, because it had gotten too late. {Smile}
