Daily Update, October 20, 2026

The night before Tuesday, I got to bed several minutes before 2am. That is the best I have done in a while.  {Smile}

I squeezed a boiled egg into getting ready to go to avoid my blood sugar objecting to eating late.  Our leader and one other regular member arrived in the driveway just before I fixed my hair.  I got it ready as quickly as a bad snarl allowed. Then I joined the leader and the other member. We tried to go to Ken's Pancakes, but they were closed for maintenance. I looked it up later, and it was the second of two and a half days of maintenance. The three of us debated where to go before settling on IHOP. I texted my relief nurse about the change, then left a voicemail about it. I tried to keep my order modest and not sweet. My relief nurse called, and I arranged for pickup. We enjoyed our brunch and split the check. I met my relief nurse outside and went to my creative writing class. {Smile}

I was only ten minutes late to my class. It went well. I found the lecture informative. I heard two classmates' writing before I went to a private interview with my teacher. I got some guidance in where to take both stories as she helped me choose directions for them. She also showed me where I need more description. My relief nurse took me home afterwards. I played Cross Stitch World on my way home. {Smile}

After we got home, I went onto my computer I browsed the internet a little before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I took Peony Boffin to the teen supergroup base for that group's meeting. I was the first one there, so I settled in. Nyxy brought their Pella but was unusually quiet except for Nyxy apologizing for being out of it. Jawsome came next, and was quiet, as he often is. Things picked up when Veronica's player showed us their new robot character. Then Jenny's player joined us, and Veronica came in. We picked our favorite taskforce, which gives particularly good rewards for the first run on a particular character this week. One member joined us at the last minute. We ran the taskforce, and then the meeting broke up. Then I did storage, crafting and badge collecting on Peony until dinner. I ate with my relief nurse, the TV, and forward Day by Day. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I revised one of my stories a little. Then I read web comics and checked Discord. I read more web comics before I started finishing Tuesday's, taking breaks to read more web comics. I also revised my story a little more. Finally, I actually finished Tuesday's daily update and went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and got more badges on Peony Boffin. Next, I worked on the in-game auction house on Peony. After that, the internet went out. I checked Cross Stitch World on my phone, confirming that still worked. So, I shopped on Amazon on my phone, then started writing in this on my phone. I switched to making notes in this on phone early because I type slowly on my phone. Starting slightly earlier would have been even better. I did end my day with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}
