I got yesterday's daily update posted in the last set of places after breakfast, and read some comics, but then I had to get ready to go, and go out to the secretary from Helping Hands Healthcare's car, for she was waiting to take me to lunch. We chatted as we went down to IHOP, where we joined the main owner of Helpings Hands Healthcare, and her brother, who's the former nurse I keep mentioning talking on the phone with. {Smile}
We had a very nice lunch. I had scrambled eggs, pork sausage, ham, hash browns, and a crepe with blueberries sprinkled around, and stuffed with lemon ricotta. I liked it very much.
We talked a lot, including more reminiscing and talking about current stuff than talking about my future with them. We did that too, and talked about Mom, as well. That is more hopeful than I feared; the owner thinks she'll still be with us for a while, though most say she doesn't have five years in her. The secretary took me home at the end, too, and the owner, her brother and I have plans to get together socially. {Smile}
I had supper with Mom and read to her before that. First, I read scripture and thoughts about it, followed by more from her niece's long family Christmas letter from 2020. After that, I read about the 1950's in _Classic Fashion: 40's 50's Memories_, finishing that book in just two sittings. mom really seems to enjoy the pictures of clothes that were fashionable in those decades. Mom really does like the "fashion" picture books for dementia. Next, I read "Eighty-Two-Year-Old Youtuber "Skyrim Grandma" Added to Popular Online Game," from _100 Uplifting Short Stories for Seniors_. Then I finished with the May 9th story from 366 Stories for Bedtime: A Tale for Every Day of the Year. Mom seemed to enjoy both pictures and stories. {Smile}
I did my walking, arm swinging, arm weight training, and over 25 minutes of salsa dancing. I even did the extra fast piece at the end, which is part of why I didn't do 30 minutes - I definitely had to catch my breath after that one. {Grin}
I cleaned up after I got home and hopped into City of Heroes: Homecoming after that. it was later than often, and Kitten was already unresponsive. Maybe they'd worn themselves out. They'd mentioned being busy with chores earlier, before I went out to lunch. However, I joined the later short, large group event. The late-night leader now leads that one, too. I'm glad. I miss the late-night raid in summer, because it's during my reading and dinner time. My RWBY friend came in just as we were starting slightly early due to being full, so he waited until we were done. It went particularly fast, so he didn't wait as long as sometimes. We teamed up and ran a few more missions in that story arc we've been working on. That was really fun and took us right up to time to read to Mom. {Smile}
I came on and found my RWBY friend had left - he'd expected to go to bed. Kitten was still unresponsive, and other friends I particularly enjoy teaming with weren't around, so I worked on paperwork, and caught up on reading comics. Then Phonso came on and invited me to do the same task force we did yesterday. I even did it on the same character, since it counts towards a badge or two this week. After that, I did paperwork the task force and earlier missions had caused and started my exercises early. I started writing this as well. I missed talking to Nox again, except for waying goodnight. Kitten finally responded as I was starting my salsa dancing. My RWBY friend came on later during the dancing, between sets. We teamed up for a mission after I was done, and then I finished writing this up. {Smile}
