The night before Monday I discovered we'd had a power failure. When I tried to set my clock, I could set the alarm, but the time wouldn't change, not minutes, not hours, at all. So, I set an alarm on my phone instead. It was too soft the next morning, but thankfully I was awake enough to hear it. Barely. I fiddled with the settings, and increased the volume to max. I'm not sure why it wasn't already. {smile}
After breakfast I called my doctor's office. I found out they'd called the tests in to the right lab last week, and again that morning. They didn't know why the lab couldn't find it Saturday. Then I emailed my financial adviser about a couple of things. {Smile}
Next, my relief nurse took me to first timer's line dancing. I discovered I had the wrong shoes. I was wearing sandals meant to be kicked off, which are hard to keep on in the dances where we kick. I managed, sort of, by trying to point instead, but it's easier to kick along with everyone else. {smile}
After class, my relief nurse took me to Clinical Labs, who did have my tests this time. So, they collected the necessary samples. After that, my relief nurse took me home. {Smile}
Back home, I had lunch with my relief nurse. Then I got onto my computer. I read articles and comics on the web. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming late. I checked on my friends, then started to play by myself on a mid-level character. Pierogies said hi during my first mission. I happily invited him to join me, and he did. That was so much more fun! We did two or three missions together. Then he said he was tired when I mentioned spotting the later short, large-group event being advertised. Pierogies and I said goodnight, and I joined the later short, large-group event and ran it. Next, I joined and ran the later long, large-group event. Partway through, Dennis joined too. I loved doing it together in part because he doesn't do large-group events often. I don't think he really likes them, but somehow that makes it special when he does them anyway. The later long, large-group event ran a little into dinner, but I just got to it slightly late. As I got ready to leave, I wished Dennis a good night in case, and he returned the sentiment. {Smile}
After dinner I talked with my relief nurse. Then I got back onto my computer, reading a few articles on the web before I wrote up Sunday's daily update. Next, I began talking with Nox on Discord, the chat server. It was a while before I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I started with the in-game auction house, storage and crafting. Then I checked on my friends in the game. Next, I went back to working with the in-game auction house, storage and crafting until Dennis said hi. We teamed up and did a few missions of his. He'd gotten behind, doing others' missions all the time. I know that feeling well. Dragons said hi, and joined us after a couple of missions. The three of us did a couple more missions, one of Dennis's, and one of Dragons'. Then I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting, and notes in this. I went back and forth between them until I was done with the notes. I ended the day with the Lord's Prayer and reading Forward Day by Day. {Smile}
