Daily Update, October 25, 2026

The night before Sunday, I got to bed right at 1:45 am. That barely meets my second bedtime goal! I got up with my alarm, realized it was set at 8:30 from the recent 9 am services, set it for 8:45 am, and got up for real then. I didn't short my sleep getting up at 8:45 am. {Smile}

After breakfast, my main nurse took me to The Church of the holy Apostles, my church. I carried a bag with an early Christmas present for my cousin Babs and brought a stack of books for the organist. I arrived during the announcements and sat with Peg, who founded our chapter of the Daughters of the King. Auntie Barbara joined us after Sunday school. I enjoyed the service. {Smile}

Babs wasn't there, so I took her present back home afterwards. Our organist was there, so I gave him the hymnals and choir books. I gave Dad's prayer book to our new priest. I also met my substitute relief nurse there. She'd come with her husband. They were both wearing a lei; we give them to visitors and first-timers. I sat with Auntie Barbara at lunch. We enjoyed visiting. She straightened out my confusion over the problem I'd seen in a Facebook post. It was limited to the trip home and will soon be fixed. After lunch, main nurse took me back home. {Smile}

I had breakfast with my main nurse and the TV. After I got home, I went onto my computer. I read web comics and browsed on Amazon. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and set Ana to working passively on badges. Next, I wrote up Saturday's daily update. I browsed on the internet a bit before going back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and found out that Dennis was in a taskforce. I joined the later long, large-group event. They were trick-or-treating when I joined, so I did that until they started the event. Afterwards, I worked on storage on Ana until Pierogies said hi. I joined him on Ana for the start of a story arc we can both get credit for. He shared the story, too, which was perfect! We broke when I was called to dinner. Before I left, I set Ana to working on the badges again after a little confusion with Pierogies. I had dinner with my main nurse, the TV, and Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

After dinner, I checked on Ana and actually saw her get the badge. She worked on the next badge in line while I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. After that, I went back to my computer and City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on Ana. Next, I checked on my friends who play the game. I said hi to Cat, but they went quiet quickly. So, I said hi to Tiet and Mysty. I picked Seameownt, and joined them in a story arc they were doing. Then Dennis said hi. He joined us, but everyone else got into an argument over a pet peeve of Dennis's. Dennis and I talked after he left the group while I continued to play with Tiet and Mysty. Dr. Faustus joined us. Cat said hi, explaining they'd had connectivity issues earlier. Cat played with Dennis to keep him company, while I played with Tiet, Mysty, and Dr. Faustus. We finished the first story arc. Then we explored until Dr. Faustus started a mission they had, and we joined to help them. Next, Dr. Faustus left. Tiet, Mysty, and I explored some more. I shifted to another window to work with stories for class but didn't get far. When I went back, I discovered Seameownt had disconnected. I went back into City of Heroes: Homecoming, and rejoined Mysty and Tiet. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Seameownt while hanging with Tiet and Mysty. Next, when we broke up, I worked on storage on Emmy Overstreet, and updated Ana Marcalino's badge record. After that, I worked on a different badge on Ana Marcelino while writing and starting to make notes in this. I broke from the notes to check and play Cross Stitch World and to write to Dennis on Discord. I finished my notes. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}
