On Friday after breakfast, my main nurse took me down to Kamana Senior Center for my Ballroom Dance: Foxtrot class. It went pretty well. I had two gals and a guy wanting to partner with me. That included the teacher's assistant, but that's still two other students wanting to partner me. My class discovered near the end that the easy-to-read clock had stopped. There was another clock, but it was harder to read, so we let out a few minutes early. My main nurse picked me up and took me home, expressing surprise that I was waiting for him. {Smile}
During class, the teacher showed the move that inspired Dad to give me a crash course in how to follow. He then repeated it every two to three nights for two weeks until he was satisfied that I'd learned to follow him right. This was in the middle of high school, with all the homework that makes. It was one of the few things allowed to add to my workload. Partner dancing was pretty important to him. {Smile}
When we got home. I had lunch while reading articles on the web. Then my main nurse helped me clean myself up. After that I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. Almost immediately Div said hi! I haven't talked to him in a couple of months, and it's been more months since we talked more than once or twice before another long pause. It was wonderful catching up with him. We talked right up to my villain supergroup meeting. About when that began, Div left, but we hope to meet the next day. At the meeting, five members came. including Dr. Faustus, the leader, and me. One member brought his young daughter. We ran a player-made story arc that was Halloween themed, and available to even low-level characters, since the daughter's character was particularly low-level. The girl kept up nicely, and enjoyed the story, which her father read to her. being on a different computer in the same room. She was excited to be allowed to talk to us, since she usually isn't allowed to talk to people online. We told him to bring her back at the end. We stopped earlier than sometimes, because the story arc ended, and Dr. Faustus and the leader had stuff to do. So, I worked on the auction house, crafting and storage. Then I hunted on a moderately high-level character. I was called to dinner just as the hunt ended. Dennis said hi right as I was leaving. I was sorry we couldn't team then, but I promised to come right back after dinner.
I came back after dinner to find him teaming with Kitten. They were doing special Halloween-themed missions, so I switched to the character who is working on them. We played until Dennis had enough. Then he went to bed, very worn out from a busy day and week. After he left, Kitten and I went to join the trick-or-treat league, which was going strong. That event my third-best badge collector didn't have the badges from happened while we were trick-or-treating, right in the same zone. I got the character I've been trying to get it on, and some of the folks did it, while others kept trick-or-treating. My character all the badges, plus an extra badge. I updated my record of her badges and got kicked from the trick-or-treat league for being absent too long. I was tired of trick-or-treating anyway, so I wrote up my daily update and shared it. Then I went back to the game, switching to a different, slightly higher-level character than before dinner. I teamed up with Kitten, slipping in a hunt while I waited for them to leaving the trick-or-treat league. We started a story arc I was surprised she hadn't done, but she'd been nominally villain-side until recently, and it's a hero-side story arc. We only got two missions in before Kitten was too tired to continue. After that, I did auction house, storage and crafting on folks used today, and those with crafting projects. I also made notes in this, taking breaks to read webcomics and play Cross Stitch World. When I finished notes in this, I said the Lord's Prayer and read Forward Day by Day. {Smile}
