The night before Sunday, I don't precisely know when i got to bed. My phone's battery was so drained, it wouldn't turn on. My best guess is that it was roughly around 1:45 am. I got up when I was awake, and my nurse said it was 8:30. His phone was dead, too, but his watch worked. He recommended a nap after breakfast, and I took him. I got up on my own, uncertain if he let me sleep longer despite my request to be woken in an hour or not, even though I I explained that my most common reason to sleep longer is a migraine I'm better off treating sooner rather than later. {small smile}
The power was still off when I got up. My nurse refused to go to church, saying it was called off. That was later confirmed, and I was told it had been called off before the storm. I guess I missed the announcement. I didn't push too hard; I know he's got more emergency response training than I do. I ate breakfast with my main nurse, Forward Day by Day, and _Brigands and Breadknives_ by Travis Baldree. Then I took that nap. After my nap, the power came on just after my left hearing aid made the powering down noise and stopped working, as it does when it runs out of power. I sat at my computer with no hearing aids, but their charger beside me with both in it. Everything sounded muffled, but if one was dead, the other wasn't too far behind. I also plugged in my phone to charge, since it was totally drained. I checked texts and answered the Daughters of the King and my cousin Kim, who'd asked if I was okay. I also checked Cross Stitch World. Then I wrote a quick note about being back from a power failure. I shared mostly where I share my daily updates to let them know I was running late because of a power failure, but otherwise okay. {Smile}
Then I had lunch while I read web comics, mainly; I may have read an article or watched a video or two, but I mainly read web comics. I continued reading web comics after lunch. Next, I finished writing up Friday's daily update and shared it. After reading more web comics, I started to copy Saturday's daily update. I paused for a phone call with Sana. We made sure each other were okay and talked about what we've been doing. It was shorter than most of our phone calls, but it still wasn't short. After that, I continued to copy Saturday's daily update, with breaks to check things and read webcomics. I was mostly done when my main nurse called me to dinner. I ate with my main nurse, his TV, and _Brigands and Breadknives_ by Travis Baldree.
After dinner, I went back to my computer and finished Saturday's daily update. Then I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. Next, I went back to my computer and into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game for the first time since Friday. After that, I altered one character's costumes. A friend invited me to a taskforce. I ran it on Seameownt, the character Kitten designed. Dr. Faustus said hi during it. I switched to Topaz right after the taskforce and started her next story arc with Dr. Faustus. We did two hunts and a couple of not-too-long missions. We stopped right before the next mission, which is pretty long. It's not short even if you know how to shorten it and do so. Then I worked on the in-game auction house and storage on Topaz, followed by the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Seameownt. Next, I shut down windows on my computer and wrote a bit in this before switching to making notes. Near the end I remembered and did some more of the in-game auction house on Seameownt and checked Cross Stitch World. I ended my day with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}
