On Monday, I had breakfast with my new substitute relief nurse, who is back after her family emergency last week. Then after breakfast, I got a call from Auntie Barbara. Michelle was too tired, and stayed home, but auntie Barbara was in town. she was done with her doctor and getting her senior ID card. She wanted to meet up at the county building in a while. So, I got ready. {Smile}
When I was otherwise ready, I called my financial adviser and actually got her this time. We talked, with me telling what I'd found that needed work, and her making suggestions for how to proceed. It was a relief to get that done. {Smile}
Then my substitute relief nurse and I went down to the county building, where we met Auntie Barbara. We slowly walked around the bottom floor, admiring and taking pictures of all the Christmas trees in the central courtyard. Many were accompanied by larger displays, and each one was decorated by a different County department. There were even two with live anthuriums in them. I'm not sure how they'll keep the anthuriums looking good; they didn't look like they're in water, which would make them last a long time for cut flowers. Most of the trees had themes, whether popular characters, the sponsoring department's work, or something else. Of particular note was a volcano, tall and cone-like, but not a true tree. {Smile}
When we were done, we went to Island Naturals, a local natural foods grocery store, and picked out lunch for each of us. Then we ate on the lanai out front, where they have tables set up for that purpose. After lunch we went to Walmart. Auntie Barbara and my substitute relief nurse picked up some things there. Next, I went home with my substitute relief nurse. {Smile}
At home, I got onto my computer. I watched several videos by two "bardcore" musicians who mostly do covers of popular tunes with medieval instruments, some medieval styling, and frequently adjusting the lyrics to fit medieval culture. Eventually, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I finished some in-game auction house, storage and crafting left from the day before. Next, I did a couple of missions on the low-level character I've started to play when I'm alone and free. I showed her to my substitute relief nurse when she checked on me. I had dinner a little early, because that's when it was ready. {Smile}
After dinner, I leisurely wrote up Sunday's daily update. I also watched a few more bardcore videos on the web and read one comic on the web. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Next, I worked on some in-game auction house, storage and crafting. After that, I began playing by myself on the low-level character until Phonso invited me to a taskforce near the end of a mission. I finished the mission, then joined him. I also started talking with Nox on Discord, the chat server I use. On Homecoming, I said hi to three friends, and got Dr. Faustus to join Phonso's taskforce before it filled, despite Dr. Faustus complaining that that taskforce is long and boring. Thankfully, Phonso runs a particularly tight ship with this taskforce, enough so that when he ran it again, Dr. Faustus joined again. After the second run, we said goodnight. I made notes in this with breaks to read articles and watch a few short videos on the web. I also finished with a web comic I'd started earlier. I finished my evening by saying the Lord's Prayer and reading Forward Day by Day. {Smile}
