Daily Update, October 15, 2026

The night before Thursday, I got to bed several minutes after 2 am again. I really need to try harder, somehow. {Smile}

Over breakfast, I had my online counselling session. I thought it went pretty well. I got some new ideas on how to proceed, so I feel more confident. {Smile}

After lunch, my main nurse took me out. Our first stop was Clinical Laboratories of Hawai'i, where I got some medical tests done or an appointment with my primary care physician next week. Then we went to Bank of Hawai'i. The man at the front desk looked over the check that First Hawaiian refused and directed me to a clerk who could help me. They redeposited the check into Dad's account, and then closed the account, giving me another check for the entire amount. While I was there, my financial advisor's secretary called to apologize for my financial adviser not getting back to me. We arranged that my adviser would call me the next day. After Bank of Hawai'i, my main nurse dropped me off at First Hawaiian Bank and went to shop for the house. I deposited the check, then reading _The Hearthfire_ by Jalal C. Hockett in the sitting room. When he was done with the errand, my main nurse picked me up and dropped me at the Hilo branch of Hawai'i Public Library while he did two more errands, including dropping stuff off at my parents' lawyer's office. At the library, I dropped off books I was done with. Then I went to the restroom and noticed I was passing their big book sale. I checked out their "better books" section first and found two that I bought. Next, I checked out the normal books but didn't spot anything to get. I'd started to look at the library's manga, but my main nurse came back before I found anything and took me home. {Smile}

After counselling, I sorted books until lunch. I watched videos over lunch. Then came our trip out. After we got back, I went onto my computer. I wrote up Wednesday's daily update, with breaks for video watching and web comic reading. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I barely had time to check on my friends who play the game before dinner. I ate with my main nurse, the TV and Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

After dinner, I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. Then I went back to my computer. I watched some videos before I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Next, I got Peony Boffin, and ran a timed mission. After that, I picked up the hunt that stops a level earlier than anything else she can get. Pierogies said hi. He helped me do the hunt, then suggested we watch the first episode of the TV series _A Discovery of Witches_. I enjoyed it. Afterwards, we talked a bit about it, and life in general. We said goodnight, and I worked on the in-game auction house and storage on Peony. Next, I wrote in this. I checked Cross Stitch World and read a few web comics before I made notes in this. I ended my day with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}
