On Tuesday when I got up, I met my new backup substitute relief nurse. He seems like a nice fellow: chatty, friendly, and helpful. {Smile}
After breakfast, we got ready, and I called Uber. I got Alan, the driver I became particularly good friends with. We talked the whole way down to Kamana senior center for my Creative Writing class. I ate lunch during class despite forgetting a fork which would have been really nice to eat the salad with. Before class, I'd tried a new explanation of a problem I have with a story on my backup substitute relief nurse. He seemed to understand it, so after class, I tried it with my teacher. This time, she understood my problem and had a suggestion I hope will help me get that story working again. After that, I called Uber, and got Emily, another driver who's become a friend. We talked the whole way back home. {Smile}
Then late at night, I got a phone call from my regular relief nurse. he updated me on how things are going for him in the hospital. It was so good to hear from him! {Smile}
When I got home from my class, I got onto my computer. I started with reading articles on the web and playing Cross Stitch World. Then I checked Discord and realized that City of Heroes: Homecoming had released the next update, which is nowhere near as big as the updates of a fully supported game, but still. I dashed into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who also play the game, but with no one on, it didn't look like a great time to start trying the new content. So, I made two costumes I realized I wanted on a couple of characters and tweaked a costume for my higher-level teen supergroup member. I found Pierogies just after and showed off the costume I'd just finished while we talked. I left him when it was time to go to the teen supergroup meeting. That started with roleplaying, including showing off my character's new costume. Then we ran a story arc of mine. A sked about doing new content, but it was a small group, probably due to American Thanksgiving being later this week. The others felt we'd like to run the new stuff with more members, and I must say they had a point. One player left before we started, then came back towards the end, not long before the leader dropped out a mission early that last mission ran right into dinner, but we finished the story arc. Then we did only a little more roleplaying before breaking up. {Smile}
I checked on my friends who play the game before breaking to read articles and comics on the web. Eventually, I remembered to write up Monday's daily update, but it was a struggle, with several breaks to read articles on the web and play Cross Stitch World. When I returned to City of Heroes: Homecoming, I found a note from Phonso, who'd left after a possibly long wait. I also started talking with Nox before I got done with that update. Dr. Faustus said hi slightly before I was done with that update. While getting together with Dr. Faustus, Phonso said hi again. We joined him for two back-to-back runs of a trial. Then they both left, saying goodnight. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage, and crafting. Then I made notes in this, with breaks to read articles on the web, and take my relief nurse's phone call. When I was done with the notes, I said the Lord's Prayer and read Forward Day by Day. {Smile}
