Daily Update, October 16, 2026

The night before Friday, I got to bed shortly before 2 am. I made my first bedtime goal, if not by much I took more time to settle down, which kind of messes it up, but I'll keep trying harder. {smile}

After breakfast, my main nurse took me to Kamana Senior Center for my Ballroom Dance: Tango class. We started late, but I danced most of the time from when we started to get going. We had less review, so I concentrated on remembering what we'd been shown in previous classes. Review came when I asked for help with moves that I didn't fully remember. I danced a little with the instructor, and some with his assistant, but mostly with two students, a gal I did the most dancing with, and a guy I partnered at the end. After class, my main nurse took me home. {Smile}

My financial adviser didn't phone, but she did email an apology and a promise to call early Monday. I emailed back some information I didn't want to go over the phone in a public setting, in case she caught me at dance class. {Smile}

In the afternoon, my housekeeper came. The house is better for her attentions. {Smile}

I had breakfast with my main nurse and the TV before I went to class. After I got back, I went onto my computer. I watched videos over lunch and into the afternoon. I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming, and straight into the villain supergroup meeting on melee-ranged Olga. Patience, Seb's Marius and a long-time member who hasn't been around recently were there, roleplaying. I quickly checked on my friends who play the game, then joined in on the roleplaying. Our leader joined us, then Dr. Faustus. both joined the roleplaying. When we were ready, we trick-or-treated in a villain zone. Next, we wanted to do a Halloween themed mission that requires exactly four on the team, neither more nor less. We started to break into two teams, expecting to recruit a couple more folks. However, Dr. Faustus and the returnee left instead, after some debate between them and the leader about who should leave. We ran the four-person mission, and I got the last badge it could give on melee-ranged Olga. She already had the other three from a previous year. Afterwards, we split up. I said goodbye to most, then talked with Patience at length while soloing a mission I had on melee-ranged Olga. The talk ran down shortly before the mission did. Then I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on melee-ranged Olga, including the beginning of the weekend auction house. Next came dinner with my main nurse, the TV, and Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I went into City of heroes: Homecoming and did the beginning of the weekend auction house on Aneira Lloyds. Then I checked Discord. Dennis mentioned making suggestions for a story fragment I shared, including changing a character's name because it could be a nickname for someone he knows. This led to a really long name search, since his suggestion was an elision of Mom's name, just like the name I'd picked. I took a long time finding a name that fit what I wanted but eventually did so, hopefully. I found Nox had answered, then said goodnight on Discord. I answered for them to find in the morning. Next, I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I did two hunts on Peony, gaining a level. She has one more level to gain before I pause to catch more content. I worked on the in-game auction house and storage on Peony, including beginning of the weekend auction house. After that, I checked Cross Stitch World and started planning Peony's next few levels. Then I wrote in this, doing more planning before I made notes in this. I ended my day with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}
