Daily Update, October 27, 2026

The night before Monday, I got to bed a few minutes before 2 am, so I made my first bedtime goal, even though it was the night that runs late most often. I'm pretty happy with that. {Smile}

Before breakfast, I printed out five copies of the story I added to the night before. Late in the morning, my relief nurse took me to Kamana Senior Center for my Creative Writing class. I arrived a little early but wasn't quite the first one there. I shared the need to negotiate with the lead of one of the two stories I'm working on because she doesn't like the way I thought the story should go. I've seen scenes and even whole stories turn out poorly because a character was fighting the author over which way the story should go. I enjoyed the lecture. I shared the story I added to during that section of class. I got encouragement, though not many suggestions. Then again, it can be hard to make suggestions early in the story, which this one is. After class, my relief nurse took me home. I read _Abby and the Stone Heart_ by Nick Blade on the way down and the way back. {Smile}

I had breakfast with my relief nurse, the TV, and Forward Day by Day. After that, I went to class. After I got back, I went onto my computer and into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Next, I took Peony Boffin to the teen supergroup's base for the weekly teen supergroup's meeting. I checked some other windows, and came back to find that Jenny's player and Nyxy's Pella had come in. Then Ulty's Puffin and Jawsome came. Veronica's player brought a new character, and we roleplayed her initial interview. Next, Pella left because Nyxy had had another long day. The rest of us did the newly revamped taskforce. I like it. We didn't have to hunt down anyone at the end of a mission this time, which is such a relief. The old version made you do that a lot. After the taskforce, we went to the base for a little roleplaying. That broke up just as I was called to dinner. I ate with my relief nurse, the TV, and _Abby and the Stone Heart_ by Nick Blade. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I read web comics. Then I began writing up Monday's daily update. I broke to watch several videos before I finished Monday's daily update. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I talked with Dennis, who was on a different Homecoming shard, as they call alternate setups of the game world. I also talked with Dr. Faustus. Dr. Faustus and I teamed up, and Dennis joined us. we did a few missions, finishing the story arc we'd started the other night, and starting the next story arc in a series. Dennis left, and we did a few more missions, finishing the second story arc and barely starting the next contact. We need to gain level to continue the next contact. We said goodnight, and I worked on the in-game auction house, storage, and crafting on Peony. After that, I crafted for badges and did some in-game auction house on Emmy Overstreet. Then I broke to check and play Cross Stitch World. Nest, I wrote a little in this. I closed windows on my computer before I started making notes in this. I broke break to check Peony and open a special costume slot that needs Halloween supplies for her before I finished making notes in this. I ended my day with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}
