Daily Update, October 22, 2026

The night before Thursday, i got to bed a few minutes before two. Something worked slightly better! {Smile}

Over breakfast, I had my online counselling session. I thought it went pretty well. I told her things I'd done, then we talked about how that might affect things, and some possible next steps. {Smile}

In the afternoon, my main nurse took me to my doctor's. I read _Abby and the Stone Heart_ by Nick Blade in the car all through the trip, and while waiting in the doctor's office. My doctor says things look good, though he's trying to get an update from cardiology. Then we went to the bookstore the internet and a cousin recommended. They are paying well for Hawai'iana and collectibles, and maybe classics, but for other stuff, only store credit. Though I wonder if the answer is different for bulk, which I can provide. I just need to know how much they want for it to count as bulk. I'm considering other options, too, which sound like the internet. Though that is complicated by high shipping out of Hawai'i. {smile}

Next, I went to the public library. I returned two books and picked out five more. The library closed before my main nurse came back for me. While waiting outside, I met a woman who remembered me from the University of Hawai'i at Hilo. We talked until my main nurse picked me up and took me home. {Smile}

After counselling, I switched to my computer, where I read web comics through lunch. Then I wrote up Tuesday's daily update. Next came the trip out. When I got back home, I went back to my computer. I read more web comics, then went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, and said hi to Victoria, Ulty and Jenny's player. I got the new, lower-level Uncle Vincent, and did a few missions until dinner. I ate with my main nurse, the TV, Forward Day by Day, and _The Hearthfire_ by Jalal C. Hockett. 

After dinner, I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse, Then I went back to my computer. I checked Discord, the chat server and answered Nox there. Next, I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game. I got Peony Boffin, one of my Hobbits. I did a timed mission on her, then a few not timed missions. Dr. Faustus joined me in one. After that, we did a couple of their missions. We said goodnight, and I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Peony, followed by crafting for badges on Emmy. Then I wrote in this. I checked Cross Stitch World before I notes in this. I checked more stuff on the net than intended while making notes. I ended my day with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}
