Daily Update, November 17, 2025

On Monday, late in the morning, my main nurse took me down to Aunty Sally's Luau Hale for my first timer's line dance class. I got there early enough to visit a bit before the class began. I'm beginning to be more comfortable with that. I also signed up for next session and picked up a couple of calendars they were selling. I think our instructor announced that her assistant would be our teacher for the next session. I know he took over after the first dance or two, like he often does. I think she means he'll take over entirely next session. He's a good dancer, and a good teacher, so I'm looking forward to it. When class was over, my main nurse came and took me home. {Smile}

At home, I had lunch while I read articles and comics on the web. Then the secretary of the nursing company came over to relieve my main nurse, who left. Then secretary took me to my appointment to get my ears checked. I expected a hearing test to see if I'd lost hearing to the recent ear infection. However, the audiologist found that the ear that had been infected was still red, which means it's infected, whether still or again. He did change my hearing aids' tips and ear buds, and they're louder now. I hope that fixes the not hearing behind me problem my main nurse pointed out. {Smile}

Afterwards, the secretary of the nursing company took me home. There, I got back onto my computer and read more articles and comics on the web before finally going into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, then worked on the in-game auction house, storage, and crafting. Next, I looked into badges to get on both my third best badge collector and my second-best badge collector. At least my second-best badge collector is mostly past the easy badges to get. This took me up to dinnertime. {Smile}

After dinner, I wrote up Sunday's daily update, taking breaks to read articles and comics on the web. Then I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming, where I checked on my friends who play the game. Next, I began to look at badges again until I realized Dennis and Kitten had come on and said hi. We talked, and I teamed up with Dennis. Kitten joined us, and the three of us started doing missions. Then Dr. Faustus came on, said hi, and joined us. We did some more missions. Then we split up when I had to get ready for bed. Next, I made notes in this, taking breaks to read articles and comics on the web, and to play Cross Stitch World. I finished the evening by saying the Lord's Prayer and reading Forward Day by Day. {Smile}
