Friday, I figured out what made it look like I couldn't order checks and got them ordered. Then I got some other stuff in the mail sorted out, with one sent off, one filed, and more waiting for the checks to arrive, just in case they're slow. {Smile}
Our housekeeper came. I loved seeing and talking to her, and our house is definitely in better shape than before her attentions. {Smile}
I didn't remember to call my aunt or cousin before it was too late to call their time zone. I did call Auntie Barbara, and we briefly confirmed plans for tomorrow. {Smile}
I ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner with Mom and read to her before dinner. She kept her eyes open the whole time and even spoke a few times again. I read scripture and thoughts about it first. Then I followed that with her niece's long family Christmas letter from 2021. Next, I finished _1960's Fashion in Pictures_. Mom looked interested in the pictures today, as I read each caption, then the back cover. After that, I read several poems from _365 Bedtime Stories and Rhymes_. I finished with the 10th of November's story from _366 Stories for Bedtime_, "Grumpy Rabbit." A difficult young rabbit was always discontented. He was bored at home. When his mother took him into the field, he pricked his paws on the thistles. When lunch was carrots, he didn't feel like carrots, but when the table was cleared, he was still hungry. At bedtime he wanted to stay up, but in the morning, he wanted to stay in bed. Mother and father rabbit didn't know what to do with their difficult son. Then Mr. Hedgehog gave the rabbit an accordion and taught him to play some tunes. He told the rabbit to play the accordion if he felt like complaining. The rabbit never grumbled again, and now plays the accordion very well. {Smile}
After I finished teaming for the evening, I did my walking exercises, leg exercises, and arm resistance exercises. Then I did my salsa dancing warmup set. After a break, I did my less structured salsa dancing set. Then, after another break, I did my arm swinging exercises, my standing arm weight training exercises. two of my four sitting arm weight training exercises, and my head exercises before it got entirely too late. {Smile}
I read articles and comics in the morning. Then I hopped into City of Heroes: Homecoming and teamed up with Paradox. We worked on one of my story arcs. Kitten, Pierogies, and eventually Azurette joined us. I think Pierogies left when he got tired. The rest of us went right up to my time to read to Mom. {Smile}
After dinner, I started writing this up. Then I hopped into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I found Kitten, and we got together. I spotted Ulty, and asked if she needed help. We joined her for a few missions, with Paradox joining for the last one. Then Paradox took over, and we did a few of their missions. I also started chatting with Nox on the chat server. Then Azurette messaged me, saying she needed help with a mission. We finished the mission that we were in the middle of, then went to help her. After that mission, I left to do my exercises. I continued chatting with Nox, and also chatted with Paradox, Owl Girl, and Kitten in a joint conversation on the chat server. Radio spoke up in a joint conversation with him, Nox, and Radio's SO, and we talked there, too. I ended up making notes and finishing writing this up the next morning. I'm not sure how I got to bed as early as I did. I usually don't when I get off my computer as late as I did. {Smile}
