Daily Update, June 21, 2026

The night before Sunday I got to bed just before 1:45. This met my second goal, but I didn't get quite as much down time as I aim for because I set my alarm for 8:30 am because church started at 9. I know I wouldn't be on time, but I'd be a little earlier without making myself sick because of changing the time too much. I wish I could change time an hour like most folks, but that made me sick for two days, so I stick to half an hour. {Smile}

Before breakfast, I told my main nurse about discovering that the sugar free yogurt has sucralose in it, or Splenda, to use the most popular brand name. I was wondering why my blood sugar has been climbing for the past month or two. It seemed to keep my blood sugar from lowing after they lanced the boil while I was in the hospital. I asked to try fruit desserts and see if that helps. {Smile}

After breakfast, my main nurse took me down to church. I read a bit of _Brigands and Breadknives_ by Travis Baldree on the way. At church, we met my nurse's wife and one of his daughters. We sat together, next to the gal who started our parish's chapter of the Daughters of the King. We walked in during the sermon, hearing much of it. It was a nice service. {Smile}

After the service, we had a huge potluck on the lanai. I did remember to bring and set out my nuts. I sat with the founder of our chapter and Auntie Barbara during lunch. auntie Barbara returned some books, so I offered them to my cousin Babs, who'd been sitting down the table from us. She took them happily. They're cozy fantasy, and she loves fantasy. This may be her first cozy fantasy, but she sounds happily interested in trying it. After lunch, my main nurse took me home. I read a bit more of _Brigands and Breadknives_ by Travis Baldree on the way. {Smile}

After we got home, I got onto my computer. I read articles and watched videos. Then I wrote Saturday's daily update. Next, I cleaned up with the help of my main nurse. After that, I attempted to go into City of Heroes: Homecoming, but I got caught up in a conversation on Discord. Then I actually did go into City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game, as well as a few characters that I've done things with recently. I broke to eat dinner with my main nurse and Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer and into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, and decided to collect badges on Ana, my third-best badge collector, when I realized I enjoy playing her more than Carrie, my second-best badge collector. I noticed that Dennis had come into the game since I'd checked my friends, so I checked them again. I said hi to Dennis, and joined him in hunting for badges he needed, including several we both needed. We did this until we reached a good stopping place. Then we said goodnight. I checked on my friends who play the game, then started to work on more badges on Ana, but my first three picks were slow going. I picked quicker badges and started working on them alone. I ran into an acquaintance who was running two characters, and we teamed up to work together. Not that I recognized them at first, but Kitten soon joined us, and they recognized them. We three teamed until the acquaintance left, but they and I established long-term communication when they did. I teamed a little more with just Kitten. Next, I updated Ana's badge record. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage, and crafting she'd produced. After that, I wrote in this, pausing to check Cross Stitch World, and play it a little. I wrote more in this, then switched to making notes. I paused to check Amazon before finishing my notes in this. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, June 20, 2026

The night before Saturday, I got to bed a few minutes before 2 am. So I made my first goal again, which feels good. {Smile}

After lunch, my main nurse and I went out. on the first leg, I think I played a little Cross Stitch World. First, we stopped at the Hilo branch of Hawai'i Public Library. I returned the two manga I'd finished, and picked out three more: a manga I've read, but have been thinking much about recently, and two novels by the author of a book that sounded relevant to some stories I'm writing or thinking about writing. After that, I looked over the manga I'd gotten. Next, we went to the ice cream parlor in Liliu'okalani Gardens, but they were closed. So, we just went on to Prince Kuhio Plaza. I think I might have switched to reading one of the novels. We walked around the plaza, then went back home. I did read one of the novels on the way. {Smile}

After breakfast, I got onto my computer. I read articles through the morning and watched videos right over lunch. One of the videos inspired me to look into a trilogy on Amazon, marking it for further checking later. Then we went out. The two novels I picked up at the library were by the same author as the one whose trilogy sent me to Amazon. The library was missing the trilogy, so I got the first book of two other series by that author. After we returned home, I went back to my computer. I read a few comics. Next, I wrote up Friday's daily update. After that, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and talked with Kitten. We teamed up and did a bit with my Ana Marcelino and the character they recently returned to in an individual mission. Suddenly Kitten stopped before we finished the mission and talked of doing my things. We did one mission that Seameownt, my character that Kitten designed, had. It was the second mission in a story arc we'd barely started the other day. Then Dennis said hi, and joined our team. He invited us to a mission he hoped would give a badge. It wasn't the right mission, but its the right contact, so he tried again and got a hunt. During that, Kitten left to do some of the late night short, large group event. I left at the end of the hunt, when I was called to dinner. I ate with my main nurse and read the manga I'd picked up. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer and into City of heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and spoke to Dennis, who was just leaving. Then I talked with Kitten, who was slow to respond. While waiting, I started talking with a distant friend. We started to roleplay. Kitten talked again, and decided to do a trial, but I didn't feel I could leave my distant friend. However, they soon went quiet. I waited almost half an hour, then joined Kitten in the next trial in the series on Soo-In Park. As we were starting, my distant friend apologized for dozing off. We promised to do more roleplaying soon. After the trial, the team broke up, and Kitten left. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Soo-In. Next, I checked a few other characters. After that, I worked on quite a bit of crafting for badges on Nani, my fifth best badge collector. I updated my badge list for her and noticed that a doing a short story arc that's mostly talks with one short mission could get a couple more badges, so I did them, and updated her badge record again. Then I checked the in-game auction house on a few characters. I also worked with some low-level characters to avoid losing their names and move them for badges and powers. Next, I checked Cross Stitch World and played it a little. I tried reading Amazon's sample of the novel I got interested in earlier. I'm not sure I'm interested after all. I felt disconnected from the characters in a way I don't want to be. Worse, I'm afraid if I read much more, it will get into my writing, and I don't want that disconnect there. I wrote a bit in this, then switched to making notes in this. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, June 19, 2026

The night before Friday, I got to bed several minutes before 2 am. I only met my first goal, but I did meet my first goal, and by a margin, at that. {Smile}

After breakfast, my main nurse and I went down to Safeway. I took a few books along and read _A Bride's Story 15_ by Kaoru Mori on the way down.  I picked out a sandwich, then picked up a few prescriptions that were waiting for me, paying for all. I thought I had trouble with my card, s o I tried a check, but that's what their system couldn't handle. I paid with a credit card with no trouble. Then we went back home, with me reading more of _A Bride's Story 15_. {Smile}

Back at home, I got onto my computer. I had the sandwich for lunch while browsing articles and reading comics mostly on my computer. I did also read a bit of _A Bride's Story 15_ here and there through the afternoon. I realize I prefer reading books, whether comic books or not, so I plan to do more. Then I wrote up much of the rest of Thursday's daily update. I stopped to go into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked my villain supergroup on Hezabell, my higher-level member, to see if anyone was at the meeting. No one was, so I worked on the beginning of the weekend auction house on a few characters, including Octavia Ballad, whose full name I messed up in my last entry. I called her Octavia B. Next, I went back to my villain supergroup meeting on Hezabell. This time I found Seb's Marius, and we began roleplaying. Our most regular member joined us, then Doc, the leader, one of the newest members, and Anya, the character of the new member who joined first in this batch. Our roleplaying changed to debating what to do and ended up with a short trial we'd missed last week. We resumed roleplaying to tie the trial to our group's collection of magic. After that roleplay session, our group broke up. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Hezabell. T hen I played a bit by myself on her, and collected some badges, too. I had dinner with main nurse and finished reading _A Bride's Story 15_. As a manga, it was quick, since it's a long comic book. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer and finished Thursday's daily update. Then I found a note from Kitten asking me to help them test a character they're redeveloping. I dashed into City of Heroes: Homecoming, hoping to find them still awake. I found Kitten on a not-quite-full team doing individual missions. I joined them, and we did two or three missions before the team broke up. Kitten told me to pick what to do next. We did a beginning-endgame individual mission to test the character. It went well, so I picked a more advanced individual mission, which we had to tone down a lot. We did two slightly easier ones. Next, we talked a fair bit. I played Cross Stitch World. After that, I worked on the in-game auction house and storage. Then I wrote in this and switched to making notes. I took a break to check Amazon and another to read a web article before I finished making notes in this. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, June 18, 2026

The night before Thursday, I got to bed several minutes before 2 am. So, I met my first goal, though not my second. I've missed often enough recently to be relieved I made it. I'm not sure why, but I still felt tired enough to take a nap a little after lunch. {Smile}

Over Breakfast, I read forward Day by Day. After breakfast, I talked with my main nurse. Then I went onto my computer. I read a couple of articles and began writing this up. Then I started writing Wednesday's daily update. I read a few articles and wrote a little more in this. Next, I wrote more of Wednesday's daily update right into lunch. I paused to read a couple of short comics and add a little to this. After that, I went back to writing Wednesday's daily update while I ate the rest of lunch. I checked out Discord, the chat server, and an AI video a distant friend shared there. Those videos are getting fancy, but it kept doing a loop of scenes, with none of the similar but better this time I see in videos. Then I wrote a little more in this. I took a nap. After the nap, I read a few web comics. Next, I finished writing up Wednesday's daily update. I checked out a few more comics, then answered Nox on Discord. After that I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I did a couple of mostly individual missions by myself on Yenna Grajewo, the tribute to a friend. The next mission was a more complicated mission. I picked it up just before going to dinner, where I watched the news and read _Brigands and Breadknives_ by Travis Baldree while eating dinner with my main nurse. {Smile}

After dinner, I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. Then I went back to my computer. I read a few web comics and went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Dr. Faustus said hi, and we teamed up with me on Ocatavia B, a moderately low-level teenage mage. We did a few missions of mine, finishing a contact, before we said goodnight. I checked Cross Stitch World, then worked on the in-game auction house, storage, crafting, and a little work on badges on both Yenna and Octavia. Next, I read some web comics, before writing some of this. I paused to start a manga, _A Bride's Story 15_. I paused that to pick out _A Bride's Story 13_ and _A Bride's Story 14_, on Amazon. I left them in the basket, because I've bought enough recently to prefer to wait. The Hilo branch of Hawai'i Public Library is missing _A Bride's Story 13_, and _A Bride's Story 14_ has a subplot that makes me want to reread it even more than most of the series. After that, I made notes in this and revised some that I'd written when I spotted something I could clarify. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, June 17, 2026

The night before Wednesday, I got into bed just before 1:45 am. So, I made my second goal as well as my first. I set my clock to 8:45 am because of this. I tried to set back to 9 am at suggestion of my main nurse when I got up briefly, but I changed the wrong alarm and felt too awake by the time I realized the error. I'm pretty happy about this. {Smile}

A while after lunch, my main nurse took me to the Hilo branch of the Hawai'i Public Library System. I picked out one collection of short stories and five manga, one from a favorite series, one that caught my eye, and three from a series I've been thinking about. I checked them out and read much of the manga that caught my eye while waiting for my main nurse to pick me up. He came and took me home, and I read more of that manga on my way home. I finished it after I got home. I know manga are quick reading, being comic books, so words are just scattered into pictures, but they're not that much thinner than regular books, so it still feels like a lot of reading. {Smile}

During breakfast, I read Forward Day by Day. After breakfast, I got onto my computer. I read comics and watched videos into lunch. I switched to checking out Bibles on Amazon during lunch. Then I began writing up Tuesday's daily update. Next came the trip to the Hilo branch of Hawai'i Public Library. When I got back home, I went back onto my computer. I browsed Bibles and finished reading the manga that I'd started earlier. After that, I wrote up more of Tuesday's daily update. I took a break to buy a Bible I was considering, in hopes that would get my mind off it, which worked. I went back and finished writing Wednesday's daily update. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming late. I checked the in-game auction house on Bellae Magnolias. Then I checked on my friends who play the game. I did a mission on Yenna Grajewo, my tribute to a friend, then stopped for dinner. I ate it with my main nurse, the news on TV, and _Brigands and Breadknives_ by Travis Baldree. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I found some things from Nox on Discord, the chat server, and answered them. Then I went back into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and found Dennis working on a badge. I discovered that all my characters who could do it the way he and a fellow were had the badge already, so I picked Valentina Matos, a character new to the endgame who I'm still developing and joined him and the fellow he was working with while they got it on a couple of characters each. Next, we said goodnight. I upgraded Valentina Matos a little, and worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on her, Eirlys Lloyds, my higher-level teen supergroup member (yes, that's her full name), and Yenna Grajewo. After that, I researched for a story I've been thinking about, setting up two new files for findings, and adding to a file I already have started. After that, I shut down windows and programs so they wouldn't distract me. I hastily made notes in this, not trying to write any of it properly because that slows me down. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, June 16, 2026

The night before Tuesday, I got to bed a few minutes after 2 am. All I can do is try to work harder on getting to bed earlier. {Smile}

After breakfast, my relief nurse took me down to the Office of Aging for the monthly meeting hosted by Aloha Independent Living. I arrived late, but that's expected when they start at 10. Thanks to this being interim for the Elderly Activities Division, I got to stay for the whole meeting, which was great. It had less of a program, but that gave us more time to talk. there were two new members we got to meet, which was nice. Afterwards, my relief nurse stopped at Kosmic Cones for plain cones. then we went home. {Smile}

At home, we found a package of mine. Inside were assorted pills, mouthwash, dried bean snacks, and a large print, New International Version Bible. I got it in part because I expect to want one someday, but I got it now so my relief nurse could try it out. He discovered that he could read a large print version of the New Testament that Mom's mother had gotten, but the Old Testament isn't included. This has both testaments. He tried it out after lunch and loves it. The King James Version, especially in small print, was too frustrating for him. He'd never tried large print of something he wanted to read, nor a Bible in modern English. It's great to help him find a book he really wants to read. {SMILE}

I had lunch with my relief nurse while we discussed the new NIV Bible. Then I went onto my computer. I read comics and watched videos. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I got Aneira, my higher-level member of the teen supergroup, and went to their regular meeting. I was the first there, so I checked something elsewhere on my computer. When I went back, I found Veronica had arrived and said hi. As we started to roleplay, our most regular member arrived. We kept roleplaying, and Jenny's Player joined us. What content to run came up, and Veronica hesitantly mentioned needing a particular taskforce. We ran it, chatting both in-character and out-of-character most of the way, which was really nice. Afterwards, Jenny's Player left fairly quickly. The rest of us went to our supergroup's base and roleplayed. When the roleplaying wound down, Veronica left to switch to a different character, and out most regular player admitted he need to sleep. We said goodnight, and I had dinner with Forward Day by Day and talk about the new Bible with my relief nurse. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I tried to write up Monday's daily update but got distracted checking another Bible. Dad always did believe it was best to use more than one translation of the Bible, because the oldest copies we have been copied many, many times, and usually translated several times as well, and all that was after a fallible human being did their best to write down divine inspiration that wasn't perfectly transcribed in the first place. This was interrupted when I noticed that Nox had just said goodnight. I responded, then went back to finish my daily update. When it was done, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked the in-game auction house on Bellae Magnolias, then tried to play by myself on Yenna Grajewo until a distant friend invited me to a taskforce that was just too high for Yenna, so I checked my characters, and found that Perry Boffin, one of my Hobbits, didn't have it, so I ran it on her. I actually kept up with and even joined in on the conversation, which wasn't constant, but we had a fair bit. The taskforce was long, but we kept at it and finished. Then the team quickly broke up. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Perry. Next, I wrote in this, with a break to check Cross Stitch World and close computer windows to focus on the. I wrote more in this, then switched to making notes in this. I ended with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, June 15, 2026

The night before Monday, I got to bed around 2:15 am... bad enough, especially after getting to bed somewhat late several days last week, that I took an almost hour-long nap before lunch. I did feel a little better after that, I think. Now to make sure I don't need to do that. {Smile}

I did two arm resistance exercises after dinner. I really should do that and sitting and standing arm weight training at the least... even when I'm dancing, since I don't do much for my arms when dancing since I stopped the Zumba classes. {Smile}

During breakfast, I read Forward Day by Day, but mainly I talked with relief nurse. After breakfast, I continued talking with my relief nurse until I took a nap pretty late in the morning. After my nap, I had lunch with my relief nurse, his TV, and Forward Day by Day I do like to read Forward Day by Day Twice, usually at the same meal, but on Monday, it ended up at different meals. After lunch, I got onto my computer. I read comics and watched videos, especially the comic Seal'd by story.paint on Webtoon. Then I checked out story.paint's other comics, though Seal'd is by far their longest so far. I also talked on Discord, the chat server, and wrote up Sunday's daily update. I finished late, and dinner was early, so I didn't get to City of Heroes: Homecoming at all before supper. Dinner was tacos with my relief nurse. We talked. I also tried to read _Brigands and Breadknives_ by Travis Baldree, but the tacos made my hands too messy for page turning, so I gave up before I finished even one scene. They were very good tacos, though. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I read comics and checked Discord. Then I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I found Kitten, and we teamed up with me on Seameownt, the mid-level character they designed for me. We started a story arc but only did one mission before they apologized for being too tired and faded out. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting. Next, I switched to Yenna Grajewo, the moderately low-level character made in tribute to a friend. I checked and fixed up my player-made story arc. I'm not sure I don't have to add stuff, but what's there should be good now. After that, I collected badges on her. The friend that the character is a tribute to was a history professor, so the badges where you learn about the place and its history seem particularly appropriate. Then I checked Cross Stitch World. I wrote in this and made notes in this. Next, I paused to shop on Amazon before I went back to finish making notes in this. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, June 14, 2026

The night before Sunday, I got to bed several minutes after 1:45 am. I met my first goal by a little margin, but I got up at 8:45 am because church starts at 10 am, so I didn't get quite as much sleep as I'd like. Still, I met my first goal, which feels at least somewhat good. {Smile}

After breakfast, my main nurse took me to church. We arrived during the announcements, which seemed long, so maybe we came near the beginning. I said hi to Babs, my cousin on the way in, then sat with Auntie Barbara. I enjoyed the service. {Smile}

At lunch, I sat with my cousin Babs and her granddaughter. I also talked with Auntie Barbara before and after lunch. She mentioned liking _Bookshops and Bonedust_ by Travis Baldree, despite not usually liking fantasy. It's cozy, with little violence, and even that less graphic. She chose to start with the earliest by the internal timeline, not the first written in the series, _Legends and Lattes._ Either make good starting places in my opinion. I recommended Travis Baldree's whole series - three books so far - to Babs and her granddaughter after Auntie Barbara mentioned it to us. Afterwards, my main nurse took me home. {Smile}

Back at home, I got onto my computer. I read comics, talked with friends on Discord, the chat server. I tried to write up Saturday's daily update, and eventually succeeded, despite interesting conversations on Discord and some nice comics distracting me through much of the afternoon. I had dinner with my main nurse, his TV show, and Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

After dinner, I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. Then I went back to my computer. I read comics and talked with Nox on Discord. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and said hi to Dr. Fasutus. We teamed up with two of their characters and my Peony, my younger Hobbit. We roleplayed, especially afterwards... so much, we parted late. I worked on the in-game auction house and storage on Peony and checked a few things in City of Heroes: Homecoming. Next, I wrote in this and made notes in this. I also talked a little with Dr. Faustus on Discord while finishing notes in this, which did slow me down. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, June 13. 2026

The night before Saturday, I went to bed a few minutes after 2 am. I feel like I'm getting closer, but I'm still not there yet. {Smile}

After lunch, my main nurse took me out. First, we got me a popsicle. I chose haupia. It had less pulp at top, more at bottom... still not really haupia, but a nice coconut flavor. {Smile}

Then we went to Prince Kuhio Plaza and walked all around the shopping center. We did errands on way home. I did a mix of playing Cross Stitch World and reading _Brigands and Breadknives_ by Travis Baldree, both on way out and on the way back. {Smile}

Over breakfast, I watched the news and read Forward Day by Day. After breakfast, I got onto my computer. I read comics and researched games through lunch. Then I wrote some of Friday's daily update before our trip out. When we got back from that trip, I went onto my computer again. I read comics and researched games. Next, I wrote up the rest of Friday's daily update. After that, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I checked Bellae Magnolias's auction house. Next, I played by myself on a moderately low-level character until dinner. During dinner, I read _Brigands and Breadknives_ by Travis Baldree. and watched my main nurse's choice of TV.

After dinner, I went back to my computer and into City of Heroes: Homecoming, where I checked on my friends who play the game. I played by myself on the same moderately low-level character until I got to talking with Nox and Kitten on Discord. I also browsed on the net. Then Dr. Faustus said they'd be coming into City of Heroes: Homecoming soon, so I went back. Dr. Faustus helped me make a story arc I'd written more complete. I also spotted a way to include better opponents. Then we got separated. While we were figuring out it wasn't one of us choosing to separate, Dragons asked for help, and I joined them. Doc joined us and brought a friend I'm acquainted with. We finished a story arc Dragons had and ran part of another story arc Dragons got before Doc left. A friend of Dragons's and mine joined us, and we finished the story arc. Next, we said goodnight. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting. After that, I made notes in this but got distracted by comics before I finished making notes in this. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, June 12, 2026

The night before Friday, I got to bed a few minutes after 2 am. that was a little earlier than the night before Thursday, though I still missed even my first goal. {smile}

I got a nice call from Auntie Barbara a while after supper. She is enjoying a book I gave her last Christmas, by Travis Baldree, who wrote _Brigands and Breadknives_, which I'm reading. She's reading the prequel that's set earliest in the series' timeline. The first book he wrote is between the book she's reading and the one I'm reading in the series' timeline. She appreciated the lack of gore in most of the novel. It's cozy fantasy, which tends to lack that. We plan to get together next Sunday, if feasible. {Smile}

Over breakfast with my main nurse, I watched the news and read Forward Day by Day. After breakfast, I went onto my computer. I read comics and researched bibles right into lunch. After lunch, I continued researching bibles. Then I began writing up Friday's daily update. I stopped before the update was done to go into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I went to the villain supergroup meeting to find I was the first one there, though one of the new ones asked if it was going and soon came. I checked on my friends who play the game while I waited. Dr. Faustus, our leader, Marius and his alt, and that new one came fairly soon. We had started to induct Marius's alt when Anya joined us. Then they started to pick a trial that gave special rewards this week. I asked for a different trial That unlocked a contact for my character. They did it to help me, and for the general rewards. Next, we broke up. I played Bellae Magnolias until dinner, running her through a few short missions, finishing another contact or two. I watched my main nurse's TV show during dinner. {Smile}

Then I went back to my computer. I read comics to settle in, then wrote more of Friday's daily update. I took a break, during which I got the phone call from Auntie Barbara. After the call, I finished writing up Friday's daily update. After that, I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, and talked with Mysty, who'd missed the villain supergroup meeting earlier. Then I played on Bellae Magnolias through the evening. I finished the content at her level, then played enough more to gain a couple of levels, where I stopped to catch some content that I can easily out level. Next, I worked on the auction house and storage on her. Yes, those two levels make her barely high enough level to begin working with the auction house. After that, I researched bibles some more. I wrote a little in this before making many notes in it. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, June 11, 2026

The night before Thursday, I got to bed several minutes after 2 am. I didn't need a nap the next day, or not enough to notice, so I feel like I got away with it, but I'll keep trying to do better. {Smile}

While getting ready to start breakfast, I went onto my computer and signed into HMSA. After a wait, it actually connected, and I had my counselling appointment with full video for the first time in weeks. The microphone didn't work, so I used the camera mic, but the counsellor had to think to notice the lower sound quality. I think she was just relieved to have video back, and body language with it. So, it was a nice session. {Smile}

After lunch, my main nurse I went out to Target. We walked around. and I paused to check out their computer section. I found peripherals, but not computers. I guess I should check Office Max if I decide I want a new computer. I've begun to debate about that. Next, we found the book section. I stayed to look at books while my main nurse continued shopping. After we let Target, my main nurse ran a few errands while I played Cross Stitch World on the way home. {Smile}

After counselling, I watched videos and read comics right through lunch. I stopped to get ready for our trip out. When we got back home, I went back to my computer. I read comics, then wrote up my daily update. I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming late. I checked on my friends who play the game. Next, I played on a low level minikin, Bellae Magnolias, until dinner. I read Forward Day by Day and watched the news on TV during dinner with my main home nurse. {Smile}

After dinner, I cleaned myself up with help from my main nurse. Then I went back to my computer and watched some videos before I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I found Dr. Faustus helping Dennis get badge and joined them. Dr. Faustus disconnected, came back and disconnected when they left the mission they joined us during. After that, they gave up. Dennis and I continued until we got the badge for both of us. Then Dennis saved the mission to help other characters get that badge, too. We said goodnight, and I did some auction house and storage. Next, I played on Bellae Magnolias for a few short missions. Then I did some storage on her - she's too low-level for the auction house so far. Then I wrote in this. I paused to check Cross Stitch World before I made notes in this, pausing for some shopping on Amazon and looking into bibles on the internet before I finished the notes. I ended the evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, June 10, 2026

The night before Wednesday, I got to bed shortly before 2 am. I had less trouble with having to get up later and didn't need a nap during the day. I'd say that's much more successful. {Smile}

After breakfast, I called my financial adviser, and we had a long talk about some things that have been weighing on both of our minds. It's so good to talk to someone I see eye to eye while planning my future. A lot of people have different ideas of what's possible, or desirable. {Smile}

Over breakfast, I read Forward Day by Day and watched my main nurse's TV. After breakfast, I made the phone call to my financial adviser. Then I read comics and watched a few videos through lunch. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game. I had started working on the in-game auction house and storage on a character I hadn't had time to finish when Divi said hi, and invited me to a taskforce. I joined their team and ran it. I actually read the story for once -- I do for story arcs, but fear that doing so for taskforces and such takes too much time from playing -- instead of just trying to get what I can while keeping up. I really enjoyed it this way. After that, I wrote up Tuesday's daily update, taking breaks for reading and answering on Discord, as well as reading comics, and watching videos. It added up to more than I quite like, but I eventually finished and went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I joined up with Dennis on Seameownt, the character Kitten designed, and we did a story arc. He liked that it was new, but wasn't fond of the ending, which isn't as happy as most. We said goodnight, and I soon had dinner with my main nurse, his TV, and _Brigands and Breadknives_ by Travis Baldree. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I watched videos, at least one long, then went to Discord, where I answered Nox. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming, where I joined up with Dr. Faustus on Peony, my younger Hobbit. I ran a couple of missions with then, and we and we roleplayed, both tying the missions together when they're from different contacts and developing his characters in a different way. I really enjoyed that and want to do more of that for my own characters. After that, we said goodnight, and I worked on the in-game auction house and storage on Peony and Seameownt. Then I had a long talk with Dr. Faustus on Discord. I wrote a little in this, then made notes in it. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, June 9, 2026

The night before Tuesday, I got to bed several minutes after 2am. That missed my first goal by a margin. Add in some trouble falling asleep and extra getting up, and I needed a nap, which I took before lunch. After that, I felt pretty good. {Smile}

After lunch, my relief nurse and I went for a short drive to go to Kosmic Cones to get an ice cream cone... or ice milk cone; I don't think they have enough fat to be able to call it ice cream. Then we went straight back home. {Smile}

Over breakfast, I read Forward Day by Day and talked with my relief nurse. Afterwards, I continued talking with my relief nurse until I took a nap. After the nap, I had lunch while thinking and reading Brigands & Breadknives by Travis Baldree. Then we went out to Kosmic Cones. After we got home, I went onto my computer and into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I went to my teen supergroup meeting on Aneira, my higher-level member. I also checked on my friends who play the game, and checked Discord, the chat server. I began roleplaying with the new gal, whose character in the group is Veronica, when I realized she'd come in and said hi. Our most regular character came in and joined the roleplaying. Jenny's player did, too. After a while, she brought up what to do, and the new gal asked for a particular taskforce because it was the last in a set of task forces that improves a character. Jenny's Player got one more member to come, and we five ran the taskforce. The new gal and maybe the member Jenny's Player pulled in got that character improving badge at the end. Only Veronica and I stuck around. We went to the base, and found Nyxy's Pella, so we roleplayed with her until Pella left. The new gal and I wound down. Next, I began reworking Aneira again because the taskforce revealed that my recent reworking left a problem. I stopped at a good but not final stopping place. I snuck in some quick crafting on Aneira when I got called to dinner. Over dinner, I talked with my relief nurse. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I started with reading comics. Then I found two reminders from Nox to finish Monday's daily update, so I did so, and talked with Nox a bit in short breaks. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game. I finished reworking Aneira. I also did some in-game auction house and storage on Aneira. As I was finishing up, Seb said hi. We teamed up on different villains than usual and did a few of his missions. After that, we switched to Aneira and her coworker, and did several missions on them, not quite finishing a contact before Seb left. Then I did some in-game auction house and storage on Aneira, then Carrie, my second-best badge collector, who I hadn't gotten around to doing since the last time I played her. Next, I read some comics, then wrote in this, taking a break from writing to check Cross Stitch World. I switched to making notes in this after a while. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, June 8, 2026

The night before Monday, I got to bed right at 2 am; so close, I'm not sure if it was slightly over, or slightly under. That's barely missing my first goal of distinctly earlier than 2 am, but it still meant more time in bed than the night before, due to Sunday's earlier time for getting up. {Smile}

A while after lunch, my relief nurse and I went to Walmart. We walked around a bit. Then I stopped to look at the books. My relief nurse looked at the DVDs, being much more of a TV watcher than a reader, though he's greatly enjoying a large print New Testament I found. When he was done with the DVDs, he went to get a few more things while I continued to look at the books. On the way back home, we talked about not finding anything. We realized it was the same situation for me with books and for him with DVDs. Either we already had it, or we already knew we weren't interested in it. On both the way down and the way back, I chatted with my relief nurse and played Cross Stitch World. I also read a little on the way back, having brought _Brigands & Breadknives_, by Travis Baldree. After we got home, I got some books out, offering to loan them to my relief nurse. He found a large print New Testament that he really loves. He normally doesn't love books, but he does this one. {Smile}

Over breakfast, I read Forward Day by Day and watched my relief nurse's TV show. After breakfast, I browsed on the web, reading comics, watching videos, and looking into games. The last is due to vague dissatisfaction with the rut I'm in on City of heroes: Homecoming. Then I had lunch with my relief nurse and his TV show. I also read _Brigands & Breadknives_, by Travis Baldree. Next came our trip to Walmart followed by the book choosing session. After that, I went back to my computer for comic reading and video watching. I wrote up the rest of Sunday's daily update before attempting to go into City of Heroes: Homecoming, but ended up chatting with Nox, Kitten and Dennis on Discord until I broke to have dinner with my relief nurse, talking about the bible and especially about the meal, since he was trying a new dish on me. {Smile}

After dinner, I watched one video and chatted with Nox on Discord, the chat server, before I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I teamed up with Dennis with me on Aiofe, a nature mage who's nearing but not ready to start the end game. We did a mission of mine from a story arc, then one of his missions from something entirely different Next, we did a mission of mine that's unrelated to either of the missions we did before, despite my protests that I really don't like breaking up stories that way. It makes it hard for me to follow the stories. We settled into less mixing after I got that off my chest. Then Seb joined us. So did the gal who's new to both of my supergroups. At the next break between missions, Dennis left. We did a couple more missions. Then the new gal left, since it was late for her. Seb and I did a few more missions before we said goodnight. Next, I worked on the in-game auction house, storage, crafting on Aiofe, followed by working on upgrading her skills. After that I wrote in this, pausing to check Cross Stitch World before I switched to making notes in this. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, June 7, 2026

The night before Sunday, I got to bed a few minutes before 2 am. This does mean I met my first goal, but I got up at 8:45 because church started at 10 am, so I didn't get quite as much sleep. {smile}

After breakfast, my main nurse took me to church. I read and responded to a text from my housekeeper on the way down. Despite getting up early, we got there ten minutes after 10 am. The service had already started.  They were a bit before the lessons. It was morning prayer, not holy communion, so the service wasn't as long.  I didn't spot Auntie Barbara, so I sat with Katie, the gal who helped me through the discernment for the Daughters of the King. It turned out Auntie Barbara was sitting on the other side of the church for a change. I did sit with her for lunch, as well as a few other friends. My main nurse took me home afterwards. I played Cross Stitch Worl don the way back. {Smile}

My housekeeper did come a while after I got home. We visited a bit, and I gave her a clean copy of the stories I took to my last creative writing class of the session that just finished. She did enjoy them. She definitely left the house better for her attentions. {Smile}

When I got home from church, I got onto my computer. I read comics, pausing to visit with my housekeeper when she came. I also watched some videos. Then I wrote up Saturday's daily update. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game. I started to play on Bellae Magnolias, one of my low-level minikin characters. Kitten said hi during the first mission and invited me to join them in a not-quite-started endgame (very high level) league. I finished the mission I was in. After the mission, I switched to Carrie Overstreet, my second-best badge collector. and joined the group Kitten was in just as they were starting. I ran the content with the league and got two badges on her. When they were done with the main part, Kitten took off to do the later short, large-group event, so I did too, after switching to Ignacia Souza, who's reached the endgame, but isn't a ranked badge collector. We ran the event. Then Kitten said I should pick what we did next. I switched to Seameownt, the character Kitten designed. We did the next mission in the story arc Seameownt was working on. Pierogies joined us, shortly followed by Dennis. We finished that mission to find it was the last in that story arc. So, I went on to a related story arc and did the whole thing. That's when I got called to dinner but squeezed in saying goodnight while I did the talks that lead into the next story arc for Seameownt. I had dinner with my home nurse, his TV, and reading Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

After dinner, I cleaned up with the help of my main nurse. Then I watched a video before I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I also worked on the in-game auction house and storage on Seameownt. Dr. Fautus said hi as I was finishing up. I switched to ranged Olga, and we did a story arc she had. Next, we did one more mission in a partly done story arc. After that, we said goodnight. I worked on the in-game auction house and storage on Seameownt. Then I checked Cross Stitch World and played a little. Next, I wrote in this, soon switching to making notes. I took one break to browse videos, and one to update Carrie's badge record. I finished my day with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, June 6, 2026

The night before Saturday, I got to bed several minutes before 2 am. I'm feeling pretty happy about this: I met my first goal again! {Grin}

Otherwise, I had a quiet day. I didn't go out, nor did I get any phone calls. {Smile}

Over breakfast, I read Friday's Forward Day by Day, since I'd missed it. I looked at Saturday's daily update, so I just watched my main nurse's TV. After breakfast, I got onto my computer. I read comics and watched videos. I also checked Discord and chatted a bit. This continued through lunch and into the afternoon. Then I finished writing up Friday's daily update. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. After that, I began to do a mission by myself on a low-level character named Bellae Magnolias, one of the "minikin," a creation of mine who are similar to but not the same as hobbits. Partway through the mission, Seb asked if I could tour his new character and Zertea for a badge that improves the character, I asked to finish my mission first, and he said sure. Just as I started the last room, Pierogies said hi and asked to join me. He brought a low-level character, too, and we did the last room together. As we finished, Kitten mewed. I invited them to join us, and lead the badge hunt, because they're twice as quick as I am, and my character could get it, too. I stayed on Bellae, since she didn't have it, though higher level characters are waiting for it, too. Pierogies took the same character he was on through it when he realized his serious badgers have this already, and we did the whole tour. Dennis joined partway through it, so when we were done, we did the few he'd missed until he got the badge we all wanted. Finished, I joined Zertea and Seb, who were getting ready to do some end-game stuff, but I got called away shortly before we started the first mission. I went to dinner, where I read Saturday's Forward Day by Day and watched my main nurse's TV show. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I read a few comics before going back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and did what little storage Bellae had produced before dinner. I said hi to Seb, who was roleplaying with Zertea. They headed to a cafe they like, so I joined them on Olga, my lower-level villain supergroup member. I struggled to keep my attention on the roleplaying, not sure whether it was blood sugar, boredom or what. Still, I roleplayed as I could or at least read along. I also checked on my friends who play the game a few times. Zertea left first. Seb left a while later. Olga left shortly after Seb, and I switched to Ana Marcelino, my third best badge collector. Seb noticed someone advertising a group, and we joined them to do an endgame story arc. Ana and the leader might have been the only 50's. Seb was trying to gain the last few levels before 50. I enjoyed it, and talking with Seb a bit on the side. Then I checked on my friends who play the game. I also worked on the in-game. Then I worked on the in-game auction house and storage on Ana. I also checked and played Cross Stitch World. Next, I wrote a little in this before switching to making notes. I ended by evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, June 5, 2026

The night before Friday, I got to bed several minutes before 2 am. I met my first goal again, which I'm pretty happy about. {Smile}

After breakfast, my main nurse took me to the last ballroom dance rhumba class of this session. I arrived just as they were starting. I mostly danced with a fellow working on the beginner and early intermediate steps whose main partner wasn't there. I also danced a little with the teacher and a gal who does advanced steps with her husband, but she went over some intermediate steps with me, trying to do the guy's steps so I could practice the gal's steps. I learned they will have a social gathering, but it's over a month away, after the next sessions starts. My main nurse took me home afterwards. I played Cross Stitch World part of the way down and more of the way back. {Smile}

After lunch, Carol came to fix my computer. She got HMSA working on both the desktop and the laptop, as far as we can tell. I hope it works now, but I'll feel surer when an appointment has gone well, after the trouble I've had with it. {Smile}

Over breakfast, I watched my main nurse's TV show because I needed to keep moving towards getting ready for class. After I got back, I phoned my financial adviser's office. The secretary tried to get her but ended up saying she'd call me back. She must have gotten sidetracked, because she didn't. I'll check with them Monday if they don't contact me first. I read comics and watched videos over lunch. Then Carol came and worked a fair while fixing things. After she left, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming and started checking characters. Seb soon said hi, and we went to our villain supergroup meeting. I also checked on my friends who play the game. Seb, Dr. Faustus, our leader, Seb's new fellow, Mysty, and a couple of recent additions showed up. We roleplayed, then tried to start a strike force. We had to restart. then another new gal showed up when we'd just started the first mission. We restarted again, though the leader wasn't happy with doing so. I struggled to concentrate, and tried to treat my blood sugar, but I didn't really get back my concentration until I started eating dinner at the computer because the strike force ran that late. Looks like it was hunger, not blood sugar. I hope I can remember to try food, not just blood sugar stuff next time, especially if the blood sugar isn't working. {Smile}

I did a little auction house and storage. Then I played a tiny bit on a solo version of Hezabell, my higher-level villain supergroup group member that I've barely started. Next, I read comics and watched videos as a break from a lot of intense playing in less-than-optimal condition. After that, I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game.  Seb said hi, and invited me to team with him. I got the ranged version of Olga, my lower-level villain supergroup member. I was happily surprised with how well she did, considering he's significantly higher level than she is. The friend who joined us the previous night joined us this night, too, after a few individual missions. We did a few more individual missions. Then Seb left. His friend and I established long-term communications, so we can team again more easily. She says to call her Zertea. I worked on the in-game auction house and storage while I talked with Zertea and continues while I wrote a little and took many notes in this. Next, we said goodnight. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, June 4, 2026

 The night before Thursday, I got to be several minutes before 2 am. So, I met my first goal. I did feel sleepy after dinner, but it responded to the usual treatment for my blood sugar pretty well, so I think I'll blame my blood sugar. {smile}

A while after breakfast, I found a note from my counselor asking if I could come on for my appointment. She'd texted me at the usual time, but I hadn't noticed until too late to go on. I tried calling her, but I think she was busy with a later patient. So, I texted to explain that she'd said we'd schedule an appointment when I got my connection fixed, and I hadn't done so. I explained that I have an appointment the next day, Friday, because that was the soonest the gal could meet. She said it sounds good and asked me to keep her posted. I thought I'd kept her apprised. I guess I have to do better at that. {smile}

I did call my financial adviser in the afternoon. The first time I left a message on the answering machine. Enough time passed, I tried again. This time I got the secretary. We arranged for me to talk to my financial adviser about the meeting with the folks from Mom's lawyer's office Friday after class. {Smile}

I had breakfast with my relief nurse, because my main nurse switched off later than usual. We watched the relief nurse's TV and I read Forward Day by Day while we ate breakfast. Then I went onto my computer. I read comics and watched videos until I discovered the message from my counselor. I tried phoning, then went back to watching videos. I tried again before composing a text explanation that she eventually replied to. Next, I watched more videos and read more comics over and after lunch. After that I began writing up Wednesday's daily update. I broke for each phone call to my financial adviser's office. When I was done with Wednesday's daily update, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. After that, I got the low-level character I'd gotten to the content that capped at their current level, and ran them through that content, and enough more content to gain a level. Then I checked on my friends who play the game again. I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse, then browsed a little until I had dinner with main nurse, his TV and Avalanche by Mercedes Lackey, Cody Martin, Dennis Lee, and Veronica Giguere. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer to watch videos and read comics. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and said hi to Seb and Dr. Faustus. I teamed up with them and a friend of Seb's who expressed interest in joining our villain supergroup. We finished a story arc I'd started and started the sequel before Seb's friend left. Dr. Faustus, Seb and I finished the story arc, the last in one of the longest series of story arcs, too late to start something else. So, we went to our supergroup's base, visited a bit, and said goodnight. Next, I worked on the in-game auction house and storage. I checked Cross Stitch World and played it a bit. Then I wrote in this before switching to making notes with a few short breaks. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, June 3, 2026

The night before Wednesday, I got to bed a little after 2 am. I missed even my first bedtime goal, though not by a lot. I'll have to try harder. I didn't feel too tired, possibly because I took it easy through the afternoon, and only exerted myself around dinnertime. {Smile}

My relief nurse stayed another day because my main nurse was needed elsewhere. We planned for him to take me to the last Wednesday night dance class. My main nurse fixed the food or the potluck, so that would be easy. This was expected. what I didn't expect was for him to ask in the afternoon if the nursing company owner could come, too. I didn't know what to say but "sure." {Smile}

After dinner, my relief nurse took me to the Church of the Holy Cross, where my ballroom dance classes were ending with a social. The nursing company owner and the nursing company secretary met us there and sat with us. I danced one or two partner dances before dinner. Dinner was generous, and I enjoyed trying several dishes while trying to avoid ingredients that give me trouble. They did some line dancing before I get dessert, so joined inn. When that stopped, I got a few desserts, trying to keep most small and modest. More line dancing started as I was finishing dessert, so I rushed it to join them. I also danced several partner dances after the line dancing with both guys and gals. When I didn't have a partner, I tried dancing alone, with mixed results. Afterwards, my relief nurse took me home. He told me the next morning that he didn't realize what a good dancer I am. I played Cross Stitch World on the way down and the way back. {Smile}

During breakfast, I read Forward Day by Day. After breakfast, I read comics and watched videos right up to lunch. Then I took a break to eat with my relief nurse, his TV and Avalanche by Mercedes Lackey, Cody Martin, Dennis Lee, and Veronica Giguere. After lunch, I read more comics and watched more videos before I wrote up and shared Tuesday's daily update. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I looked over my characters and picked a low-level to run content on. I was doing that when I got the news that the nursing company owner was coming to party. I played on that character until I did the content I'd miss if I gained a level. Then I kept playing while I gained one level while eating a toasted cheese sandwich that I'd requested to tide me over, since dinner would be late, and delaying meals often messes up my blood sugar. {Smile}

After we got back from the party, I went onto my computer. I browsed Facebook and videos, then went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, realizing I'd forgotten to in the afternoon. I played with costumes and names for a few of my characters, collecting four into a fantasy race I call "minikin" that I invented over a decade ago. They're hobbit-like without being true hobbits. Next, I played on one, stopping just before the content she can add a level after. After that, I
checked on my friends who play the game again and did a little storage. I watched a few short videos before I wrote in this, pausing to check Cross Stitch World during that. Then I made notes in this. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, June 2, 2026

The night before Tuesday, I got to bed right at 2 am. I feel like I barely missed my first goal, but at least I didn't feel tired much during the day. Just a bout in the afternoon short enough to suspect blood sugar. {Smile}

After breakfast, my relief nurse took me to my Creative Writing class. I arrived shortly before it started. I enjoyed the lecture, and participating in the parts where the teacher opened the floor so students could share about their writing. I really liked the feedback part, where we suggested improvement to each other's writing. I'm starting to get ideas for what to do with the tsunami stories from my relatives before giving them to the tsunami museum. We also had a potluck with some nice food. I put out the salad that I'd otherwise have eaten for lunch. I started to take home what was left but somehow forgot it. My relief nurse took me home. I played Cross Stitch World down and back. {Smile}

After I got home, I got onto my computer. I checked out a few videos. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming and went to the teen supergroup meeting. I found the new gal, and we started roleplaying together. The most regular guy joined us soon. Ulty came a little later on a newer character. Jenny's Player was busy elsewhere in the game. We roleplayed a long time waiting for Pella. Then we ran a four-person trial that's very popular with small groups. Pella joined us afterwards for roleplaying that ran right into dinner. I did leave to have dinner with my relief nurse. I watched his TV show and read Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer to find the teen supergroup meeting breaking up. I checked on my friend who play the game, and worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting. About the time I was winding down, Seb invited me to roleplay with two of his characters and a friend of his. I brought Olga, my lower-level villain supergroup member, and we roleplayed until his friend left. Then we teamed up with me on Hezabell, my higher-level villain supergroup member, and him on his new, prospective member, and we did part of a story arc Hezabell has, talking together, sometimes in character, and sometimes out of character. Next, we said goodnight, and I worked on Hezabell's auction house, crafting and storage. After that, I wrote a little in this. Then I started talking with Shepherd on Discord while I made notes in this and checked stuff on the net and in City of Heroes: Homecoming when the conversation prompted me to. Next, I checked Cross Stitch World. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, June 1, 2026

The night before Monday, I got to bed a few minutes after 1:45 am. I'm sorry to miss my second goal after two good days, but things were just drawing out bedtime. I got up at 9 am to avoid shorting myself on sleep. {Smile}

After breakfast, my relief nurse took me to the Young Buddhist Association Hall, or YBA Hall, for my last First Timer's Line Dance class of this session. It turns out to be the main part of the basement in the downtown Hongwanji temple, and I discovered it has a seriously slanted floor. They built it on a hill and didn't flatten it at all. I've heard about places with slanted floors, but I've never seen one before, let alone been on one. I found it tricky to dance on while keeping to my feet, but I think I caught on over the course of class. One of the other students led the class, since our instructor and his wife are on a trip. They'll be back by the beginning of the next session, which I think is in three weeks. My relief nurse was a little late picking me up. He explained he'd gone to the wrong place first. I played Cross Stitch World both down and back, and while I waited for my nurse. {Smile}

In the afternoon, I had a Zoom meeting with two of Mom's lawyer's employees. I am happy to say I had none of the trouble I've been having recently with HMSA's Online Care. We went over Mom's and Dad's trusts, and the conversion to new trusts. They do not recommend consolidating them with my personal holdings due to the specific inheritance instructions that they gave. I been thinking about that ever since the meeting. {smile}

At breakfast, the secretary of the nursing company came for my monthly check. She French braided my hair when I was concerned about this making me late to class. It was nice seeing her. {Smile}

After breakfast, I went to my class. After class, I had lunch with my relief nurse while watching his TV show. Then I got onto my computer. I read articles, watched videos, and read comics until the Zoom meeting. After the meeting, I watched more videos and read more comics. Then I tried to write up Sunday's daily update but didn't get far. I talked with Kitten, Dennis, and Shepherd on Discord. They made me aware of some changes that I need to make in how I play with them on City of Heroes: Homecoming to make it more fun for everyone, including me. Next, I continued getting distracted by comics and videos up to dinner, which was tacos with my relief nurse, his choice of TV, and forward Day by Day. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I watched more videos and read more comics. I also talked with Nox on Discord. I tried to finish Sunday's daily update but said goodnight to Nox on Discord before I finally finished it. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, and found Dr. Faustus teaming with Seb's new, prospective member of the villain supergroup. We teamed up and talked. Then we ran a mission followed by a story arc, both belonging to Seb's new character. We did the mission and the story arc "in character," roleplaying our way through them. Next, we said goodnight. I wrote a little in this. I checked and played a little Cross Stitch World before making notes in this. After that, I checked on my friends who play on City of Heroes: Homecoming before I finished the evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, May 31, 2026

The night before Sunday, I got to bed a few minutes after 1:30 am, so getting up at 8:45 am didn't feel short of sleep at all. {SMILE}

After breakfast, my main nurse took me to church. I talked with my main nurse and played Cross Stitch World on the way down. When I walked in, I spotted my cousin Babs and her granddaughter in the back. I said hi, but there didn't seem to be much space near them, so I sat by myself in my usual area during the service, which was nice in a quiet, unexceptional way. {Smile}

I sat with them for lunch. They were already sitting with the other friends we made a while back. We enjoyed visiting and stayed late. On the way out, I ran into Melanie on the way out. She'd come for a concert that was starting in a while, but I was tiring, so didn't stay for it. My main nurse took me home, and we talked on the way.

At home, I got onto my computer. I watched videos and read comics. I also talked with friends on Discord. then I finished writing up Saturday's daily update before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. Dragons said hi even before I checked on my friends who play the game. Next, I joined Dragons on very low-level characters for some hunting, a mission of mine, and a story arc they had. After that, I left for dinner. I read Forward Day by Day and watched what my main nurse had on TV. {smile}

After dinner, I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse before I went back to my computer. I watched some videos and talked with Nox on Discord. I also talked with Shepherd and Dennis on Discord. and squeezed in minimal writing in this. Then I joined them in City of Heroes: Homecoming, I checked on my friends who play the game, and we did a few missions of theirs, with me on Ignacia, an end-game character who specializes in fire magic. Then Shepherd and I talked at some length before parting. Next, I got Hezabell and joined Dr. Faustus and Seb, who were working a new character of Seb's through some low-level content. Seb's new character is interested in joining the villain supergroup. We finished a mission of Seb's, then talked. At the end of talking, Dr. Faustus said goodbye. Seb and I did one more mission of Seb's, then said goodnight. I worked on a few badges, then checked and played a little Cross Stitch World. I made notes in this with a few, short breaks. I ended the evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}
