I called the veterinarian's office after breakfast. I told the secretary about Val not throwing up. She took notes, and said she'd talk to the vet and call me back. When she did, I was busy, and didn't hear the phone ring even though it was in the same room, so I called back after lunch. They told me which medicine to give him in new amounts. I'm wary, but I'll try it. {Smile}
I got a couple of bills sorted in the morning, one of which involved a phone call to confirm that hadn't been paid or anything. {Smile}
Then came the visit from the Kupucare nurse. We talked about my medications, and the problems I'm having with them. I seem to have been wrong about what was causing the problems, but I'm certain what the problems are, because I know what my body feels like. {resigned smile}
Then the secretary from Helping Hands came and picked up their check for the next month. She meant to come before the nurse, so it wasn't too surprising that she just took the check, gave me the invoice, and
After dinner, I called our former nurse, and we had nice talk, if far from our longest. He'd had a long day, which I perfectly understood. {Smile}
After that, I accidentally called Auntie Barbara. I hung up immediately, certain it was too late for her, but she called me back. She hadn't quite gone to bed yet, and did want to tell me some stuff, as well as chat a bit. {Smile}
I ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner with Mom and read to her before dinner. I started with scripture and thoughts about it and continued with more of her niece's long family Christmas letter from 2019. Then, I read a bit from Cotillion by Georgette Heyer. Next, I read "What's That Noise?" from 365 Animal Stories and Rhymes. It was about a lion cub who was frightened by a loud noise until he realized it was the hippo singing. Then I finished up by reading the March 31st story from 366 Stories for Bedtime: A Tale for Every Day of the Year. Mom said she liked it all. {Smile}
I did over 30 minutes of salsa dancing today, including about 8 1/2 minutes of warmup and over 20 minutes of less structured dancing. I concentrated on keeping from running late, and it worked. I finished just before the end alarm went off. I'd have continued to the end of the piece I was in if it had run over, but it didn't. {Smile}
I hopped into City of Heroes: Homecoming after the nurse left. It was mid-afternoon by then. I found Kitten teaming with a friend and got her friend to invite me team to with them. I think he was concentrating on playing and didn't notice. It happens. Then my RWBY friend came on, and we got kitten's friend to add him, too. We teamed for a while, before Perogies left again. Kitten, her friend, and I continued to team until it was time for me to read to Mom. {Smile}
I read comics and started this daily update around reading to Mom and eating dinner. After that and the phone call to our former nurse, I hopped back into City of Heroes: Homecoming. There, I found Kitten busy at first, and did a bit of soloing, as well as a break with Auntie Barbara's phone call in it. Then Kitten and I got free again, and we teamed up. My RWBY friend came on and joined us. We found a surprise April Fool's raid that we did, and tried to help Kitten get a particular badge, but somehow it just wouldn't come. I don't know if it's broken - I had to work with one of Homecoming's helpers to fix one badge that wouldn't recognize I earned it. Then the three of us joined a couple of normally short, high-level task forces. Somehow they were distinctly longer than usual and took me right up to time to start winding down and exercising. {Smile}
