On Sunday, I got to bed slightly earlier, but still late enough, I didn't set my alarm earlier. I worked steadily on getting ready for church after getting up, including painkillers in my morning routine because of the earache, which was back. My main nurse took me down to church as soon as I was ready. We got there at the end of the processional, the very first hymn. Auntie Barbara was out with the two younger of the three kids who have become regulars. It was a nice service.
I picked up a Forward Day by Day, but they only had the little ones. I'll have to keep an eye out for the big ones with the large print. All my others are big ones, and it's somehow comforting to have them. I started getting them so Mom could read them long after she'd stopped reading small print. She stopped reading them, but I kept getting them. If my eyes start to need larger print, I'll have a good selection of these. {Smile}
Afterwards, I had lunch on the lanai with Auntie Barbara, my main nurse, and a few other parishioners. I enjoyed chatting with them. Then Auntie Barbara took me to visit Charlotte. Auntie Barbara produced two cards for Charlotte: a birthday card from the church which several parishioners had signed, and a card from the children, who'd made it in Sunday school that morning. I discovered I hadn't signed the birthday card, found a working pen, and signed it. Charlotte thanked me. She loves each signature. After a while, Auntie Barbara took me home. {Smile}
At home, I settled in on my computer and read articles on the web. Then I went into City of heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and found Kitten. We talked about plans for my character who is working towards starting the end game at some length before we teamed up. When we did team up, we did some of my missions from a different contact. We stopped just enough before dinner for me to squeeze in cleaning up with the help of my main nurse, who gets full credit for getting me out before dinnertime. I am not that fast on my own. {Smile}
After dinner, I read articles on the web, and web comics, too. Then I started to write up Saturday's daily update, but I really couldn't concentrate until I treated my blood sugar. Even then I found it hard to write. I gave up and went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and found Dr. Faustus. We teamed up and finished the story arcs at our level in the post-apocalyptic zone. We were preparing to do something Dr. Faustus was planning to work on next when Dr. Faustus noticed a Halloween event. I switched to the character who needed it next, and we joined it. They didn't get it in time, but it happened in another zone right after. We tried again and got all five possible badges. Then we broke up for the evening, and I did minimal auction house, storage, and crafting and said goodnight to Nox before finishing Saturday's daily update. Next, I started notes in this. I took a break for Cross Stitch World followed by web comics before I finished making notes in this. I ended the evening with the Lord's Prayer and Forward Day by Day, which truly has small print in the standard version. {Smile}
