The night before Tuesday, I got to bed a few minutes after 2 am. All I can do is try to work harder on getting to bed earlier. {Smile}
After breakfast, my relief nurse took me down to the Office of Aging for the monthly meeting hosted by Aloha Independent Living. I arrived late, but that's expected when they start at 10. Thanks to this being interim for the Elderly Activities Division, I got to stay for the whole meeting, which was great. It had less of a program, but that gave us more time to talk. there were two new members we got to meet, which was nice. Afterwards, my relief nurse stopped at Kosmic Cones for plain cones. then we went home. {Smile}
At home, we found a package of mine. Inside were assorted pills, mouthwash, dried bean snacks, and a large print, New International Version Bible. I got it in part because I expect to want one someday, but I got it now so my relief nurse could try it out. He discovered that he could read a large print version of the New Testament that Mom's mother had gotten, but the Old Testament isn't included. This has both testaments. He tried it out after lunch and loves it. The King James Version, especially in small print, was too frustrating for him. He'd never tried large print of something he wanted to read, nor a Bible in modern English. It's great to help him find a book he really wants to read. {SMILE}
I had lunch with my relief nurse while we discussed the new NIV Bible. Then I went onto my computer. I read comics and watched videos. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I got Aneira, my higher-level member of the teen supergroup, and went to their regular meeting. I was the first there, so I checked something elsewhere on my computer. When I went back, I found Veronica had arrived and said hi. As we started to roleplay, our most regular member arrived. We kept roleplaying, and Jenny's Player joined us. What content to run came up, and Veronica hesitantly mentioned needing a particular taskforce. We ran it, chatting both in-character and out-of-character most of the way, which was really nice. Afterwards, Jenny's Player left fairly quickly. The rest of us went to our supergroup's base and roleplayed. When the roleplaying wound down, Veronica left to switch to a different character, and out most regular player admitted he need to sleep. We said goodnight, and I had dinner with Forward Day by Day and talk about the new Bible with my relief nurse. {Smile}
After dinner, I went back to my computer. I tried to write up Monday's daily update but got distracted checking another Bible. Dad always did believe it was best to use more than one translation of the Bible, because the oldest copies we have been copied many, many times, and usually translated several times as well, and all that was after a fallible human being did their best to write down divine inspiration that wasn't perfectly transcribed in the first place. This was interrupted when I noticed that Nox had just said goodnight. I responded, then went back to finish my daily update. When it was done, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked the in-game auction house on Bellae Magnolias, then tried to play by myself on Yenna Grajewo until a distant friend invited me to a taskforce that was just too high for Yenna, so I checked my characters, and found that Perry Boffin, one of my Hobbits, didn't have it, so I ran it on her. I actually kept up with and even joined in on the conversation, which wasn't constant, but we had a fair bit. The taskforce was long, but we kept at it and finished. Then the team quickly broke up. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Perry. Next, I wrote in this, with a break to check Cross Stitch World and close computer windows to focus on the. I wrote more in this, then switched to making notes in this. I ended with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}
