The night before Sunday I got to bed just before 1:45. This met my second goal, but I didn't get quite as much down time as I aim for because I set my alarm for 8:30 am because church started at 9. I know I wouldn't be on time, but I'd be a little earlier without making myself sick because of changing the time too much. I wish I could change time an hour like most folks, but that made me sick for two days, so I stick to half an hour. {Smile}
Before breakfast, I told my main nurse about discovering that the sugar free yogurt has sucralose in it, or Splenda, to use the most popular brand name. I was wondering why my blood sugar has been climbing for the past month or two. It seemed to keep my blood sugar from lowing after they lanced the boil while I was in the hospital. I asked to try fruit desserts and see if that helps. {Smile}
After breakfast, my main nurse took me down to church. I read a bit of _Brigands and Breadknives_ by Travis Baldree on the way. At church, we met my nurse's wife and one of his daughters. We sat together, next to the gal who started our parish's chapter of the Daughters of the King. We walked in during the sermon, hearing much of it. It was a nice service. {Smile}
After the service, we had a huge potluck on the lanai. I did remember to bring and set out my nuts. I sat with the founder of our chapter and Auntie Barbara during lunch. auntie Barbara returned some books, so I offered them to my cousin Babs, who'd been sitting down the table from us. She took them happily. They're cozy fantasy, and she loves fantasy. This may be her first cozy fantasy, but she sounds happily interested in trying it. After lunch, my main nurse took me home. I read a bit more of _Brigands and Breadknives_ by Travis Baldree on the way. {Smile}
After we got home, I got onto my computer. I read articles and watched videos. Then I wrote Saturday's daily update. Next, I cleaned up with the help of my main nurse. After that, I attempted to go into City of Heroes: Homecoming, but I got caught up in a conversation on Discord. Then I actually did go into City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game, as well as a few characters that I've done things with recently. I broke to eat dinner with my main nurse and Forward Day by Day. {Smile}
After dinner, I went back to my computer and into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, and decided to collect badges on Ana, my third-best badge collector, when I realized I enjoy playing her more than Carrie, my second-best badge collector. I noticed that Dennis had come into the game since I'd checked my friends, so I checked them again. I said hi to Dennis, and joined him in hunting for badges he needed, including several we both needed. We did this until we reached a good stopping place. Then we said goodnight. I checked on my friends who play the game, then started to work on more badges on Ana, but my first three picks were slow going. I picked quicker badges and started working on them alone. I ran into an acquaintance who was running two characters, and we teamed up to work together. Not that I recognized them at first, but Kitten soon joined us, and they recognized them. We three teamed until the acquaintance left, but they and I established long-term communication when they did. I teamed a little more with just Kitten. Next, I updated Ana's badge record. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage, and crafting she'd produced. After that, I wrote in this, pausing to check Cross Stitch World, and play it a little. I wrote more in this, then switched to making notes. I paused to check Amazon before finishing my notes in this. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}
