Well, since my lunch date was moved to tomorrow, I called my parents' lawyer, and made an appointment with their notary public to get something signed and notarized. I called Uber and went down. They took me right away, even though I was a little early. (I find that with uber, being on time cannot be predicted. the choices are early or late.) Then i took Uber to island Natural, where I picked up a package of dried cranberries. I could do that at tomorrow's lunch, but I had to go to Mom's bank for some banking anyway. That was next. Then I called Uber again, and they took me home. {Smile}
I called our financial adviser to tell her about the banking around lunchtime, but she was away from her desk. They said they'd have her call back, but I called again when I got tired of waiting, and got her that time, so she got the update. {Smile}
I called our former nurse after dinner, and we had a short chat. Turns out he's planning to go to the lunch tomorrow, too. He is their personnel manager sometimes. {Smile}
I tried calling Auntie Barbara, but it went straight to voice mail. After leaving a message, I sent a text, which turned into a short text conversation. She'd been hoping for a phone call all about the lunch, but that will have to be tomorrow. {Smile}
I ate dinner with Mom and read to her before that. I started with scripture and thoughts about it, followed by more from her niece's long family Christmas letter from 2020. After that, I read about the 1940's in _Classic Fashion: 40's 50's Memories_. I'd like to concentrate on books Mom seems to particularly enjoy. She does like the picture books for dementia, especially the "fashion" ones. Next, I read "Twenty-Year-Old Wins $451-Million: Will Help Family and Humanity," from _100 Uplifting Short Stories for Seniors_. Then I finished with the May 8th story from 366 Stories for Bedtime: A Tale for Every Day of the Year. Mom seemed to enjoy everything. {Smile}
I did my walking, arm swinging, two of my arm exercises, and my head exercises. I tried two others of my four other arm exercises, but my right shoulder was wincing, so I figured I should stop. {rueful smile}
I finished posting yesterday's daily update while waiting for Uber to pick me up to go to the lawyer's notary public. Then I read comics over lunch, after getting back from the errands. After that, I hopped into City of Heroes: Homecoming, where I found kitten. I also spotted my RWBY friend, but he left without responding. Kitten and I chatted a little, then teamed up. We got two moderately low-level story arcs done on our best badge collectors that will help with a couple of badges. Then we snuck in a shorter story arc that got mine two badges that Kitten already had. {Smile}
After dinner and the phone call and start of the text conversation, I hopped into City of Heroes: Homecoming, and found Kitten in a task force. We didn't chat much beyond finding that out, because they were busy with it. I waited for them to get done, but then Phonso came on, and invited me to join a task force he was running. I did, and we filled before Kitten's task force was done. Kitten finished when we were a few missions into the task force. I found their character afterwards, but they disappeared like they'd fallen asleep. Then I did some paperwork, and about the time I was done, my RWBY friend came back. We chatted a bit and teamed up to continue the story arc we'd started yesterday. I said goodnight to Nox, having missed a chance to talk. My RWBY friend left to return to bed, and I worked on more paperwork. Then I did a mix of exercises, reading comics and a few internet articles, and writing this. Near the end, Kitten came on the chat server, where we talked a little. They'd fallen asleep again. {Smile}
