Today was Sunday, so i went to church. Unusually few were there, and we didn't have a lot of variety at lunch. But I'd brought a new package of packages of nuts, so at least there was that. {Smile}
Our former assistant priest and his husband were there. I waved, and tried to say hi, but got sidetracked with lunch, thinking they'd stay, but they never got over to it. Next time I see them at church, I'll have to make a point of talking to them. {Smile}
Our priest took me home and came in to give Mom holy communion. Mom was not having her best day. She didn't join in on any of the songs we sang, and she did look more tires and sallow than usual. I still hope she enjoyed the company. {Smile}
I got a call from the secretary of the nursing company. She needed to reschedule our lunch date tomorrow. Thankfully, I'm available Tuesday, so we moved it to Tuesday. {Smile}
I ate dinner with Mom and read to her before that. I started with scripture and thoughts about it, followed by the start of her niece's long family Christmas letter from 2020. After that, I read about the tricks elves like to play on humans and their animals. Elves can be real tricksters. This was in Fantasy Encyclopedia by Judy Allen. Next, I read "'NASA "Human Computer" Katherine Johnson Celebrated Her 100th Birthday," from _100 Uplifting Short Stories for Seniors_. Then I finished with the May 7th story from 366 Stories for Bedtime: A Tale for Every Day of the Year. Mom seemed to enjoy everything. {Smile}
I read comics after coming home and cleaning up, then hopped into City of Heroes: Homecoming. My RWBY friend came on while I was still settling in. We chatted, then teamed up, starting a story arc we hoped would help with the badge I was working on yesterday. It didn't at first, but then it did for a while; we got almost all we needed by dinner. {Smile}
After dinner, I went back on City of Heroes: Homecoming. I found my RWBY friend, and we teamed up for another mission in the same arc as before dinner. We got the badge we'd been working on and finished the mission too. Then my RWBY friend admitted to being tired and left for bed. I did some paperwork and read comics. Then I chatted with Azurette, and, after talking with our nurse, I joined a team, and played it until it was high time that I wrote this update. {Smile}
