Daily Update, May 14, 2026

The night before Thursday, I got to bed a few minutes before 2 am. Not much, but hey, I met my first goal yet again. Maybe this really is becoming a habit. {SMILE}

A while after lunch, my main nurse took me down to First Hawaiian Bank, where Mom's trust and I have an account each. We checked to make sure that everything is in order, since it wasn't for a while. Yes, we got it fixed again. now I just need to establish another good habit: checking frequently enough that this isn't a problem. After that, we went over to the Ice Cream Parlor in Lili'okalani Gardens. I was in a mood for a pulpy popsicle. They had banana and mango, and I'd had banana last. So, I picked out a mango popsicle that I ate on the way home.  In the car, on the first two legs of the trip, as well as after I finished my popsicle, I played Cross Stitch World. {Smile}

During breakfast, I read Forward Day by Day. After breakfast, I browsed articles and videos through lunch.  Then I wrote up Wednesday's daily update and read a couple of web comics before we went out. After we got ack, I watched a few more videos. Then I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, and mewed at Kitten, who didn't respond. So, I said I was in the game in the conversation I have on Discord, the chat server, with Kitten, Pierogies, and Dennis. Dennis came into Homecoming and got Kitten to join him. I joined them on Valentina Matos, my newest end-game character. We did two or three of Dennis's missions. Shepherd joined us after one or two. Then I stopped for dinner. During dinner, I got back to _Demon World Boba Shop Vol. 1_, the novel I was reading recently. {Smile}

After dinner, I got back onto my computer. I watched a couple short videos, and checked Discord, where Dennis suggested adding Shepherd to our conversation. I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I found and talked with Shepherd and Kitten and added Shepherd to that conversation on Discord between Kitten, Pierogies, Dennis and me. Then I teamed up with Kitten with me on Seameownt, the character they designed. We ran a mission that was the last mission from a contact. Next, we worked on a contact where I was half through a strong story arc. Dr. Faustus joined us, with Dragons joining us just a mission or two later, and Dragon's friend joined us soon after. We finished that contact and started a sequel contact with a similarly strong story arc. Kitten dropped out when they got too tired. Dr. Faustus dropped out when we finished the sequel contact. After he did, Dragons suggested we start a set of story arcs they could get. We did the first story arc, and part of the second before they left. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage, and crafting on Seameownt, Nani'eleu, and Valentina. Then I checked Cross Stitch World. Next, I checked a few more characters, and worked on crafting and storage on Octavia Ballad, the moderately low-level, late-teenager I've been teaming with one of Dr. Faustus's moderately low-level characters on. Then I wrote in this before shifting to making notes in it. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayers, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}
