The night before Sunday, I got to bed a little after 1:30. Between 1:30 and 1:45 is my second goal, so I was very happy, especially since I thought I could sleep to my usual Sunday time of 8:45 am and the get to church about when it begins. {smile}
After breakfast, my main nurse took me down to church. It had started at 9 am, not 10 am, as it does once a month, so we can see some folks who normally go to the early service, and they can see some of the folks who go to the later service. It was also Morning Prayer, which is a shorter service than Holy Communion. Between those two facts, it was almost done. I did get the personal announcements, the last few prayers, the final hymn, and the dismissal, so I didn't miss everything, at least. {Smile}
I had the full lunch on the lanai, and it was big, as it usually is after a combined service. I talked with Katie, with the Daughters of the King. She offered to take me to the special lunch next week after the service, then to take me home. I told her to consult Steve, since he handles my transportation. She did, and he agreed to her plan, so I have that to look forward to. I sat with Auntie Barbara, and the friends Babs, her hanai granddaughter, and I made at the last joint service, though Babs and her hanai granddaughter weren't there. I chatted with all of them happily and even got invited to an online writing group by my younger friend. It overlaps with my in-person Creative Writing: Memoirs class, but I'll see what I can do, because it is more geared towards fiction, which I write. My main nurse took me home afterwards. I played Cross Stitch World both on the way down and the way back. {Smile}
In the afternoon, my substitute relief nurse came to pick up her stuff. I'm so glad she could. When a nurse leaves, there's often stuff left behind. Frequently we don't get to return it. I'm so glad we did this time. {Smile}
Back at home, I got onto my computer. I browsed articles and videos. I also read web comics. Then I wrote up Saturday's daily update. My substitute relief nurse came to pick up her stuff. Next, I cleaned up with the help of my main nurse. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked the in-game auction house, and then my friends who play the game. I said hi to Seb and Kitten. Kitten and I teamed up with me on Seameownt, and ran a few of my missions. I finished a contact. I've been trying for a while to finish some, since five claim to be near the end. It was a relief to finally get one. {Smile}
Over dinner, I read Forward Day by Day. After dinner, I read comics and watched videos. I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming before too long. I checked on my friends who play the game. I said hi to Seb, Ulty, Jenny's Player, and Kitten. Seb was roleplaying. Ulty and Jenny's Player were in a taskforce. Those can't be joined after they start. Kitten wasn't busy, so we teamed up again, and ran several more of my missions. I finished a second contact. Then Seb joined us We ran a few more missions, and I finished a third contact. I feel like I'm finally getting somewhere, though I still have a lot to do. Next, Seb went to bed, and Kitten went quiet. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Seameownt. After that, I wrote in this. I broke to start a bibliography for my little article. Then I went back to this. I finished a sentence, then switched to making notes in this. Next, I checked on my friends who play the game. I also checked the in-game auction house. I even checked Cross Stitch World before I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daugthers of the King. {Smile}
