I tried to call my doctor yesterday, but again only got their answering machine. I may have to accept I'm not going to get through, but I'll try a while longer. {resigned smile}
I succeeded in calling my financial adviser and told her about what I learned in the call with my aunt's friend. My financial advisor and I worked out plans this allows us to make now. So, this went very well. {Smile}
I ate lunch and dinner with Mom and read to her before dinner. I read scripture and thoughts about it first. Then I read two Christmas letter, one from her niece, and another from her cousin's granddaughter, both from 2019. After that, I read the last few entries about the people who lived in an earlier time from People of Pern by Robin Wood. Next, I went in search for the next book with pictures. I settle on a fantasy encyclopedia. After that I read "Store Left Open by Mistake, but Only Cherry Tomatoes Missing, and the Customer Overpays," from _100 Uplifting Short Stories for Seniors_. Then I finished with the May 4th story from 366 Stories for Bedtime: A Tale for Every Day of the Year. Mom liked what I read to her, and the pictures, too. She seemed more tired today, though. {Smile}
I got my head exercises all done. I slipped them in later than I prefer, but I got them done. {Smile}
I wrote up the day before's daily update in morning. I chatted with Kitten on the chat server, and learned they had to do a lot more to get that badge we tried for the day before than I think either of us expected. After lunch, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I found Kitten, who told me about some other badges they'd gotten recently. I realized some were ones I didn't have, and two I didn't have were in the same story arc. Even better, it was a story arc Kitten has been wanting to do again anyway, just because they enjoy it so much. My RWBY friend came in as we were starting, so he joined us. The three of us did the arc, and I got one more badge than I expected. This took us to time to read to Mom. {Smile}
After dinner, I went back onto City of Heroes: Homecoming and found no one on who I particularly like to hang out with on. So, I checked for paperwork, then prepared to do one of the solo missions which led to one of the badges Kitten had gotten recently that I didn't have. Just before I got started, Phonso came in and invited me to join a trial. This was the last my second-best badger needed for a badge she's been working on for weeks, so I was happy to join. I switched to her, did the trial with him and got the badge. I also chatted with Nox on the chat server for a bit before they went to bed. Then I did two solo missions that Kitten mentioned earlier get a badge apiece. I realized the higher level one was non-combat, so I tried to get all the badges for making it harder that I didn't have at that level. They counted, and I got an extra badge for getting all and few other badges I had, too. Then Kitten finally came on, finally seeming better rested. We chatted and ran one story arc we both needed. It ran later than I meant to, so I just made notes for this update before bed. I had to write this up properly the next day. {Smile}
