Well, Val threw up again this morning. He hadn't since yesterday morning, and hasn't since... I think I'll call the vet after I've figured out if this was just calming down more slowly, or if he's continuing. {small smile}
I tried calling my doctor and didn't get past the answering machine again. I also called my financial adviser and got as far as making an appointment - I think for a phone call, but they have done a video call, too - tomorrow, early to mid-afternoon. So, there's that much progress. {Smile}
I also dealt with an internet outage at my provider's. The nurse had trouble too, since they also provide the cable for our TV. I was still trying to fix it when it came on, but I suspect that was coincidence, since it affected our TV at the same time, and I wasn't touching that. {Smile}
I ate dinner with Mom and read to her before that. I read scripture and thoughts about it and continued with a couple of cards, one from me for a birthday, and one from her cousin for the holidays a couple years ago. Then, I read some from Cotillion by Georgette Heyer. I finished up by reading the April 4th story from 366 Stories for Bedtime: A Tale for Every Day of the Year. Mom said she liked it all. {Smile}
I did over 25 minutes of salsa dancing, despite getting a later start. I might have had time for another 5+ minutes, but I was tired enough to want to sit after that. The rests were shorter than usual. {Smile}
I read comics over a late lunch and hopped into City of Heroes after cleaning up after lunch. There, I found the April Fool's event still going. I also found my RWBY friend eager to start reading a comic I introduced him to, "The Cursed Princess Club," over a video call, now that we both have our own bound copies. It's hosted on a service called Webtoon, but my RWBY friend didn't trust it. We'd watched several episodes read by a fan on YouTube, but the first bound volume goes a bit further into the story, and the second bound volume is coming out this summer. We both think that the revisions that got done translating it from a web comic into a bound comic improved it. He read the introduction and the first chapter, doing special voices for the first chapter. As nice as that was, I didn't try to do special voices when I read the second chapter. That felt like a lot to read, so we stopped. We just had time for one mission back on City of Heroes: Homecoming before I left to read to Mom. I also chatted a little with Nox and Radio's boyfriend (Radio is my adopted cousin) on the chat server, though i mainly read their conversation, which I wasn't keeping up with as well, what with the comic reading and mission and all. {Smile}
After dinner, I hopped online, and looked around. The conversation between Nox and Radio's boyfriend had cotinued while I was away, so I added some, and did as they talked a bit. I chatted a little with Owl Girl and Phonso, and found out Phonso was ready to do a particular task force that's famous for being on the long side. I got Owl Girl and Toltar, and Freaky found two through general advertising. That wasn't a full team - just 6, not 8 - but we took off anyway. We finished just before I needed to start exercising... somehow, I started late anyway. Radio's Boyfriend left partway through the evening, but Radio came on, so I chatted on and off with him. So did Nox. {Smile}
