After breakfast, I took uber to church. I actually arrived with time to spare, though not a lot of time. There, I discovered that next Sunday, because it's Easter, both services will be earlier than usual. The early service will be 6am instead of 7:30am, and the late service will be 9am instead of 10am. {bite lips} I used to just go late when it started at 9am, but that was when I was getting up at 8 am. Now, it's usually after 8:30am, so I'm barely getting there in time for the 10am service. I'm afraid I'd miss too much of the service. I guess I just have to miss Easter morning... unless I catch it online. I'd probably still miss the first part, but I might get in around the readings, like I did when I went late and got up earlier. {bite lips}
The service was nice... actually pretty special, since it's Palm Sunday, which means a longer procession in, and a long and fancy "reader's theater" style gospel. No act ions or anything, but different people reading different parts in the story of the passion. {Smile}
I had lunch on the lanai with Auntie Barbara and Scott. Scott will be leaving after Easter, so I said goodbye in case I don't see him again. {bite lips} We had a nice talk. I particularly enjoyed some cake Lindsey handed out that he'd made the night before. Scott offered to take me home. I certainly took him up on it when this might be our last chance to talk until next fall/winter, when he comes back form the mainland for the winter. {Smile}
I ate dinner with Mom and read to her before that. I read scripture and thoughts about it and continued with the last of her niece's long family Christmas letter from 2019. Then, I read a little bit from Cotillion by Georgette Heyer. Next, I read a story, "The Spider, the Hare, and the Moon," followed by two poems, "ABC," and "Magpie," both from 365 Animal Stories and Rhymes. Then I finished up by reading the April 2nd story from 366 Stories for Bedtime: A Tale for Every Day of the Year. Mom said she liked it all, and this time it sounded like she liked them about equally. I think I managed not to go on too long with Georgette Heyer this time. {Smile}
I did my head exercises, as my therapist wants me to do them even the day after therapy. {Smile}
I hopped into City of Heroes: Homecoming when I got home from church. There, I found Div, and joined him for actual missions. Kitten came in not long after we started, so they did most of the missions with us, too. Then Kitten and I continued to team, doing a mission and 3 or 4 April Fool's raids before I read to Mom. {Smile}
Around dinner time, I prepped some comics to read, but actually read only one before hopping into City of Heroes: Homecoming. There I found Kitten, and we teamed up. We started discussing what to do. Then my RWBY friend came in, and joined us, and we picked a low-level story arc Kitten and my best badge collectors need for a couple of badges. My RWBY friend did one story arc with us and left for bed. Kitten and I did one more story arc. I chatted with Nox on the chat server a little as they got ready to go to bed, but really not long. I chatted a little more with kitten on the chat server after the second story arc, before they went quiet, probably asleep. {Smile}
