Daily Update, December 4, 2025

On Thursday I didn't really touch base with my financial adviser. They didn't call, and the closest I got was leaving a message on their answering machine. This tells me they're very busy, along with how many meetings mine has been in when I've called, and long meetings at that. {smile}

I had my video counselling right after breakfast. I thought it was a good session. We discussed my future, and some necessary transitions I'll have to make. {smile}

At the end, I got a phone call from the leader of the monthly meeting asking if I was coming to the lunch today in half an hour at Don's Grill, a local family-style restaurant I said yes, and told my main nurse. He took me down and promised to come when I called to say I was done. I sat at a table where several other gals were already sitting. I had a good time talking with them. Shannon and I promised to talk more next time, since she was at the other table. I had the seafood platter because then I didn't have to choose between shrimp, calamari, and mahimahi. The two gals I was closest to chose the mixed plate at my suggestion, since it also had three dishes, saving them from having to choose only one. Then came dessert, where I chose apple pie. At the end, we each chose an envelope with a gift card or ticket or something. Mine had a ticket to 'Imiloa Astronomy Center, a local astronomy museum. I called my main nurse afterwards, and he came and took me home. {Smile}

When I got home, I got onto my computer. I started with reading articles on the web and playing a little Cross Stitch World. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I wrote up Wednesday's daily update, getting it done well before dinner. Next, I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked several characters in for a winter event badge, then checked on my friends who play the game. I noticed that several folks from Paragon Chat were on, all on a team with the same number of members, The team was a little larger than I could account for, but it wasn't full. I switched to the character they know best, and said hi to Mysty, who usually organizes these things. I got invited to join them pretty quickly. We began chatting as we waited for one more to arrive. I told them about a character one of them inspired. Then I got it to show him when he left to make a costume that he had an idea for. I waited for him to break from his costuming so he could see my character. The last fellow showed up while we were waiting. One of the others came to see my costume. It took us a few tires to actually meet up. We somehow kept being on the opposite side of a particular door, but we eventually got together. Then I showed it to a couple others before I switched back to the character they know. {Smile}

We started the new taskforce at the mildest "Advanced Difficulty," which is required for some badges. I ate dinner at the computer so I could continue to participate. My main nurse came in towards the end, asking me to come clean myself up. I explained that I was committed to the game such that I couldn't quit early without standing everyone else up, wrecking a couple of hours of work for me, and possibly that much for everyone else, too. That is not socially acceptable. After we finished, I did clean myself up with his help only a little later. Then I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming to work on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on several characters, including the one who'd run the taskforce. I also fixing her badge record, since she's my best badge collector, and she got another badge in the taskforce. After that, I made notes in this, taking breaks to read articles and comics on the web, and play a little Cross Stitch World. I finished my evening by saying the Lord's Prayer and reading Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

Daily Update, December 3, 2025

On Wednesday after breakfast, I called my financial adviser. I got one of the secretaries. She said that my adviser was in a meeting, but she would call back after the meeting. When she didn't, I tried again. I got a secretary who explained that my financial adviser was busy that day, and had a meeting right through the morning, but would call after lunch the next day. She did want to know my concerns. I gave her the list, and she thought of a couple to add, too. One I brought up was needing to arrange for a meeting with my financial adviser, the head of the nursing company, and myself. They keep passing messages through me and coming up with questions I don't know the answer to. My financial adviser's secretary gave me a message for the nursing company, which I passed on to the nursing company secretary, who is still my substitute relief nurse today. The nursing company secretary decided I needed to help fill out and sign some forms, which she prepared. Then we worked on it. It's a partial relief to have actually made progress on this today. {worn smile}

Then in the late morning, the nursing company secretary, who was my substitute relief nurse for the day, took me down to Aunty Sally's Luau Hale for my last Dance Fusion class of the session. I arrived on time. Fewer showed up than usual, but we had a couple of class pictures. Then we got to dancing, and had some nice ones, mostly Christmas themed. Afterwards, my substitute relief nurse took me home again. {Smile}

Back home, I had lunch with my substitute relief nurse. Then I got onto my computer. I started with reading articles on the web and playing a little Cross Stitch World. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game. After that, I tried calling my financial adviser and got drawn into working on the forms. Then I went back to my computer and City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I spotted somebody doing some missions my best badge collector needed. I got the two badges she didn't have. Then I switched to my second-best badge collector. However, I didn't get back in time to get the other badge the team worked on. Next, I switched to my newest character to start the endgame, and ran the later long, large-group event on her. I got some nice rewards, but I didn't get progress on a badge like I was hoping for. That took me up to dinner, which I had with my substitute relief nurse. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I started with reading articles and comics on the web. Then I wrote up Tuesday's daily update. Next, I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game. After that, I updated best badge collector's badge list. Then I spotted a four-person trial, but it filled before I could join. Next, I spotted someone asking for help with a Winter event giant monster, so I joined them on my second-best badge collector in a vague hope she'd get the badge my best got the night before if they continued hunting more of those critters, but they didn't. However, the person who'd run the four-person trial invited me to another run of the same trial. I joined and ran it on my fourth-best badge collector, who was missing one of the badges it gives. I discovered that Divi was in it, too; it's nice to run with a friend. I did run it, and my fourth-best badge collector got the badge she'd missed! Then the group broke up. I updated my best and second-best badge collectors' records. Next, I saw folks asking for help with a winter giant monster again. I joined, and stayed for a few more winter giant monsters, getting that badge for my second-best badge collector. Also, Dr. Faustus joined us to get a few giant monsters before the group broke up. After that, I updated my second-best badge collector's badge record. I spotted one I could relatively easily get and got it. Then I updated her records again. After that, I began writing this, then switched to making notes in this partway through. I did take a couple of breaks for Cross Stitch World and shopping on Amazon. Then I finished my evening by saying the Lord's Prayer and reading Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

Daily Update, December 2, 2025

Tuesday after breakfast, I called my financial adviser. It took a few tries, with waiting in between, but I eventually got the secretary. She explained that my financial adviser was in a meeting and promised to have her call me back when she came out. She must have been busy, because she didn't. It's happened before. She's just that busy a lady. {smile}

Before lunch, my new substitute relief nurse took me down to Kamana Senior Center for my last Creative Writing Class of the winter 2025 session. We had a good lecture, and a good freewriting session followed by reading what we'd written. We had a nice potluck lunch towards the end. I need to bring something for that in the future. {smile}

After class, my new substitute relief nurse took me to Safeway. I picked up a few prescriptions. Then she took me home. {Smile}

At home, I discussed what to do with the parts of lunch I hadn't eaten with my substitute relief nurse. Then I got onto my computer, where I read articles on the web, and played a little Cross Stitch World. Then I learned the secretary of the nursing company would take over until my main nurse could come back, due to a family emergency for my new substitute relief nurse. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming, where I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I checked and updated my badge records for my top three badge collectors before I went to the teen supergroup meeting. We had a small group - only four, and one was slow to show. We roleplayed until we were ready to play. We did a couple of mini-story arcs and a few missions I had. Our leader left early to join a friend they hadn't seen in a while. I started dinner at my computer as we did the last couple of missions. Then the rest of the team broke up right as I ran out of content at her current level other than a long story arc that will be better to start when we're fresh. {Smile}

Next, I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting. Then I checked on my friends who play the game. Next, I wrote up Monday's daily update, taking with a few breaks to read articles on the web and check City of Heroes: Homecoming. After that, I read comics on the web before settling back into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I checked out the new winter event, especially the three new badges they introduced for it. I started working on them until Dr. Faustus said hi. Then I spotted a special winter event monster who can get a badge for one person at a time. I got the badge for my best badge collector, and we struggled a lot to get the monster, but we did. Then we got the same monster a few times as we kept finding it, but I stayed on my best badge collector so she could heal the team. I figure my other characters can get it later. I let others get the badge. Dr. Faustus helped but didn't get the badge himself. Then we said goodnight. I did a little of the in-game auction house and storage and made notes in this. I did take breaks to play a little Cross Stitch World and read some articles and comics on the web. I finished my evening by saying the Lord's Prayer and reading Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

Daily Update, December 1, 2025

On Monday, I met my new substitute relief nurse when I got up. She's nice, and chatty, which is great. {Smile}

After breakfast, she took me to Auntie Sally's Luau Hale, where I waited a while for class to start. As it finally, I realized I'd gotten there half an hour early. Well, I had more time to visit with the others; we rarely get much time for that, and some actually were there. Maybe because it hosts some kind of cheap meal program before us.  {Smile}

After class, my new substitute relief nurse took me home. There, I had lunch with my new substitute relief nurse, Then I got onto my computer. I read articles and comics on the web before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I began writing up Sunday's daily update. In the game, Pierogies said hi, and we talked. Then we teamed up for one mission of mine before he left early. Next, I talked with my new substitute relief nurse. After that, I continued writing up Sunday's daily update, finishing just before dinner with my new substitute relief nurse. {Smile}

After dinner, I read articles and comics on the web. I also began talking with Nox on Discord, the chat server. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming to check on my friends who play the game. Kitten said Mew, and while we were talking, I ran into Divi. They were distracted at first, so I teamed up with Kitten. Then Divi began talking. I invited them to join Kitten and me, but they declined. I joined Kitten, and we ran a mission, gave me a badge. It also filled up my storage enough for me to work on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting while Kitten ran another mission. Then Phonso invited us to a taskforce. Kitten declined, but said I should join, so I did. While I was waiting for the team to fill, Dr. Faustus said hi. They finished what they were doing and joined the taskforce. We ran it with the team not quite full, and lost a member along the way, but I thought we finished nicely. I said goodnight to Phonso and Dr. Faustus. Then I started making notes in this, with breaks to work on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting in City of Heroes: Homecoming. When I was done, I said the Lord's Prayer and read Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

Daily Update, November 30, 2025

On Sunday I got up slightly early, because it helps me get to church a little earlier. After breakfast, my main nurse took me down to church. We're having morning prayer, since the priest who was assigned for us needs an operation that she'll need to recover from. We arrived during the opening hymn, so we barely missed anything. I sat with Auntie Barbara who is disappointed we didn't have Sunday School again. The family who was coming weekly has stopped, though there were Sunday school students at the early service. {Smile}

I took the uneaten blueberry pie to church to share for lunch afterwards. It got opened late. Auntie Barbara said later that there was one piece left, and we might have to throw it away, but when I went to look for it, I couldn't find it. I guess someone took care of it. After lunch, I went with Auntie Barbara to Charlotte's, where we had a nice visit. Then Auntie Barbara took me home. {Smile}

At home, I got onto my computer. I read web articles and played Cross Stitch World. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage, and crafting, and checked on my friends who play the game. Then I spotted the early long, large-group event and joined it on my newly incarnate character. She got a character improvement enabled near the end, so I worked on taking advantage of that afterwards, along with more typical in-game auction house, storage, and crafting. I also checked on my friends who play the game, and talked with Crash, admiring their character, when I spotted them. Next, I got up to look into a bath. I got into rearranging the clothes in my room instead, since the housekeeper started with moving Mom's clothes out of her room, and that meant into my room. I now have a bunch of new-to-me things. I finished just before dinner. {Smile}

After dinner, I read articles and comics on the web. I also played Cross Stitch World. Then I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. After that, I went back onto my computer. I wrote up Saturday's daily update, taking breaks to read articles on the web and play Cross Stitch World. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I started with working on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting. I also checked on my friends who play the game. Then I found a note from Dr. Faustus on Discord, the chat server, saying they probably were not coming in because of internet trouble. Next, I started collecting badges on a fairly high-level character until Dr. Faustus said hi. They said their internet might be working afterwards but could not promise for how long. We tried to team up, but they were not responding in chat. Then I got another note from Dr. Faustus on Discord saying that chat was not working. Then it started working, I think before he was seriously trying to fix it. We teamed up and did a mission of theirs. Then we did a story arc of mine. After that, we said goodnight. I did a little of the in-game auction house and storage. Then I began making notes in this, with a break to play Cross Stitch World. Next, I finished making notes in this before I finished my evening by saying the Lord's Prayer and reading Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

Daily Update, November 29, 2025

On Saturday after breakfast, I worked on a few bills. Most alarming was my health insurance, which was in danger of getting cancelled if I didn't pay by Monday. While trying to figure out how to sign in for online payment, I discovered that the local office is open 9am-2pm on Saturdays. I told my nurse, who offered to take it down, but I decided to go with him to ask about a couple of other things. It got paid and the other things were discussed but not acted on. Then he took me back home. {Smile}

Back at home, I got onto my computer and read articles on the web into lunch. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I finished improving my higher-level teen supergroup member. Next, I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting. After that, I hunted a type of enemy for a badge on my second-best badge collector until I noticed someone advertising the later short, large-group event. I got my merit-farmer and joined it, not remembering until too late that I really want to take my character who's new to the end game, because she's working on a badge when she runs these. Well, next time. After that, I worked on the in-game auction house, storage, and crafting until dinner. {Smile}

After dinner, I read articles on the web and tried to write up Friday's daily update. However, I kept going back to web articles especially ones about a bad fire in Hilo, Hawai'i, or to playing Cross Stitch World. I did also try to talk to my main nurse about cutting back nursing hours next year. He helped me see that this decision should involve my financial adviser and the head of the nursing company in the same conversation, probably with me in there too. I finally finished my daily update and went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I spotted that new taskforce being run at higher difficulty, though not the kind to qualify for extra badges. I joined it and ran it with a nearly full team. I didn't get any new badges, but I tried. I did learn that one badge I've missed twice now expects you to get it done before the mission is done. If you stay afterwards, it soon kicks you out. Next, I worked on in-game auction house and storage before making more notes in this. I did take a break to play Cross Stitch World and check the suction house in City of Heroes: Homecoming. Then I finished notes in this before saying the Lord's Prayer and reading Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

Daily Update, November 28, 2025

Friday at breakfast I got a call from Auntie Barbara. We finalized plans for our Thanksgiving left over lunch that day. She picked Wailoa Park, and I would bring dessert, while she brought the rest, since I have lots of leftover pie, and she has lots of leftovers of all kinds. {Smile}

Then before lunch my main nurse took me down to Wailoa Park, where we found that Auntie Barbra had already picked a pavilion. It was one of the small pavilions added when I was an adult, not any of the big pavilions that were there when I was a kid. She brought turkey, a sweet potato dish, cranberry sauce, green beans, stuffing that we both ate. She also brought some bread that I saved for later. I brought both blueberry pie, half eaten in an odd pattern, and blueberry cheesecake that she said to save for church, since it wasn't open. We were attended by several park ducks, but we didn't feed them. {Smile}

Afterwards, we took a walk over to a pair of steeply arched foot bridges. I reminisced about loving to go on them as a kid when we came to the park for a party or something. I called them "rollercoasters for the feet" because they'd help you speed up when running down in the middle, so your momentum carried you up part of the next rise before you had to climb on your own. Auntie Barbara got excited because this was the very first time that she'd been on any of the arched foot bridges, or the island in between these two, since we did the two that both go to a tiny island from opposite banks of the river. Then we went back and found my main nurse, who took me home. {Smile}

At home, I found housekeeper was already at work. We caught up with each other. Somehow, the conversation got onto the season theory for finding clothes that look good on you. I showed her how to try colors to figure out your season after trying to explain the theory. Then I went into my closet and found a mu'umu'u that flattered Mom better than me, since I am a winter, while Mom was a fall like my housekeeper. I was afraid it was too small, so I asked her to try it on. It fit perfectly and looked at least as good on her as it did on Mom, which is certainly better than it's ever looked on me, so I gave it to her. She told me it's perfect for an upcoming family party where she's been asked to dance a hula. It should be good for that, since it's a slimmer sheath than most mu'umu'u, so you can see the dance better. {Smile}

After breakfast, I got onto my computer and read articles on the web. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming to continue preparing my higher-level teen supergroup member for gaining level. I also improved her slightly right now, right up until it was time to leave. {Smile}

When we got back, I got onto my computer and read articles on the web until I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I finished preparing and improving the higher-level teen supergroup member for now. Then I checked on my friends who play the game. Next, I switched characters and went to villain supergroup meeting. I was slightly late, but I was the second one to arrive there. I joined the leader, and we talked. We continued talking as Dr. Faustus joined us, and eventually ran a short story arc my character had. It was kind of the third initiation that character has done to the same organization. Next, we did a follow-up talk mission. These took me up to dinner with my main nurse. {Smile}

After dinner I read articles on the web and wrote up my daily update. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I updated my second-best badges collector's and third-best badge collector's badge records. I also chatted with Divi a little. then I got a new badge on the second-best badge collector and started something that should get two more. During it, Dragons said hi and invited me to a kind of mission my third-best badge collector needed another of for another badge. I ran that mission and got that badges. Then I switched to my fourth-best badge collector and started work on similar badges. We did a few missions, the last mine, and restarted when a few of Dragons' friend joined us. After that mission, the others continued, but I said goodnight and started making notes in this. I paused to update my badge records of my second-best badge collector again. Then I got the easy badge on the third-best badge collector and updated her record again.  After that, I finished notes in this. I finished my evening by saying the Lord's Prayer and reading Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

Daily Update, November 27, 2025

Thursday was Thanksgiving, so Happy Thanksgiving if you celebrate it! If don't celebrate it, or not at this time, I hope you had a nice day. {SMILE}

I called my cousins Kim and Nancy, wishing each a happy Thanksgiving on their answering machine. I also left texts saying the same thing. My cousin Kim called me back. We had a nice talk, which was so wonderful! {SMILE}

My main nurse took me out before lunch. We stopped at KTA, a local supermarket, and picked out some blueberry pie for a party I was invited to at Peggy's house, and a blueberry cheesecake for Auntie Barbara the next day. Then came the phone call from Kim just before the party. I ended it to join the party, but I think we'd said the most important stuff already. {Smile}

The party was hosted by Peggy, the gal who started our Daughters of the King chapter. It was over half church folks, but there were a few others, too. They were finishing the pupus, or snacks. Soon, a dinner in the early afternoon followed. When dinner was finished, out came two decks of cards. Seven gathered around, and I learned the rules of golf, the card game. We played a few hands of golf, then totaled up the score The low score is the winner, like in the regular golf, and I had it. I'm not quite sure how I won, but okay. {Smile}

After that, most left, and I called my main nurse, and visited with the others while waiting for him to come get me. I particularly talked with another Anne about maybe her moving in early next year, since she needs a home closer to town, and I need a cheaper alternative to 24-hour nursing. We'll see how things go. My main nurse took me home after dark. I actually got to see Christmas lights on the way. {Smile}

After breakfast, I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. Then I got onto my computer and read articles on the web and started preparing my higher teen supergroup member to gain level until we left for the Thanksgiving party. That was a nice way to spend time with my church family for a family holiday. {Smile}

 After I got back, I got back onto my computer. I ate a light supper while reading articles and several comics on the web. Then I wrote up Wednesday's daily update, taking breaks to read more articles on the web and also to check Discord, the chat server. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I was going to start say hi to some of my friends when Divi said hi and invited me to the brand-new taskforce they introduced just days before. As I was getting ready to join, Kitten said hi, so I checked with Divi, and yes, Kitten could join, too. They certainly did, since this was the first time they'd found someone doing this taskforce, and it gives badges, which both kitten and I love. We ran it, got two badges out of three possible at low difficulty. Tougher difficulty could get three more for a total of six. We both are sure this needs more work. Anyway, after the taskforce, the team broke up. When it was just Kitten and me, Pierogies found us before much longer. We talked a lot and teamed up. Eventually, we did two missions, trying the new tougher difficulty settings. They were not as tough as we expected, but more challenging than the old difficulty settings. We talked a little more before saying goodnight. Next, I made notes in this, taking a break to update my badge record for my top badge collector before finishing the night by saying the Lord's Prayer and reading Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

Daily Update, November 26, 2025

On Wednesday, my main nurse greeted me enthusiastically when I got up. He's really less stressed now that he doesn't have to go up to Volcano one day a week. {SMILE}

Late in the morning, he took me down to Aunty Sally's Luau Hale for my Dance Fusion class. That went well. My teacher even praised me for knowing the first dance when the rest of the class was struggling. I'm not used to being praised in dance class, so it was a nice surprised. In the past, my severe, permanent vertigo tended to make me look clumsy enough, I didn't get praised in front of the class. Afterwards, my main nurse took me home. {Smile}

After lunch, he took me to the Women's Imaging Center in the Surgical Center, where I had an appointment for a mammogram. My main nurse warned me to expect it to take a long time. However, when I went in, they only took five pictures. Three were good the first time, and the fourth only needed one repeat. So, the technician made sure I didn't have a second order, then told me to get dressed, because I was done. My main nurse was quite surprised at how quickly it went. Really, I was too. {Smile}

Before my class, I started preparing my teen supergroup member for gaining levels. Then I started playing Cross Stitch World and continued on the way down to class. After class, I played more Cross Stitch World on the way back. Then I had lunch at home while reading articles on the web and playing more Cross Stitch World. Later, after my mammogram, I got onto my computer again and read several articles on the web before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I continued preparing my teen supergroup member for gaining levels. I stopped when Pierogis said hi. We teamed up and hunted badges together until dinner, talking most of the time. It reminded me of badge hunting on Paragon Chat, the chat world that I joined that led me to City of Heroes when fan-supported servers arose. I told him about the badge hunting there. {Smile}

After dinner, I played Cross Stitch World and read articles and comics on the web. I also continued preparing the slightly higher-level teen supergroup member for more levels. However, I couldn't gather my thoughts enough to write up Tuesday's daily update or play City of Heroes. So, I went to take a nap, which my main nurse supported, concerned about how I looked. I lay down for ten minutes and found myself waking up under the covers. I got up, put on long socks and a sweater, and fixed hot tea with my nurse's approval, since I looked much better. I was chilled, not tired, but Then I wrote up Tuesday's daily update before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then Phonso said hi, I joined him for a trial, only one this time. It was his second of the night, and he wanted food more than a third. After that, I talked with Kitten. I got a new badge on my best badge collector at their urging. We talked while I did, since we both know I really didn't need their help with the badge. Then I tried to join them, but I realized it was too late just as I figured out how to do so. I stopped playing to make notes in this before bed, with a break to check mini comics on the web. I ended the evening with saying the Lord's Prayer and reading Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

Daily Update, November 25, 2025

On Tuesday when I got up, I met my new backup substitute relief nurse. He seems like a nice fellow: chatty, friendly, and helpful. {Smile}

After breakfast, we got ready, and I called Uber. I got Alan, the driver I became particularly good friends with. We talked the whole way down to Kamana senior center for my Creative Writing class. I ate lunch during class despite forgetting a fork which would have been really nice to eat the salad with. Before class, I'd tried a new explanation of a problem I have with a story on my backup substitute relief nurse. He seemed to understand it, so after class, I tried it with my teacher. This time, she understood my problem and had a suggestion I hope will help me get that story working again. After that, I called Uber, and got Emily, another driver who's become a friend. We talked the whole way back home. {Smile}

Then late at night, I got a phone call from my regular relief nurse. he updated me on how things are going for him in the hospital. It was so good to hear from him! {Smile}

When I got home from my class, I got onto my computer. I started with reading articles on the web and playing Cross Stitch World. Then I checked Discord and realized that City of Heroes: Homecoming had released the next update, which is nowhere near as big as the updates of a fully supported game, but still. I dashed into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who also play the game, but with no one on, it didn't look like a great time to start trying the new content. So, I made two costumes I realized I wanted on a couple of characters and tweaked a costume for my higher-level teen supergroup member. I found Pierogies just after and showed off the costume I'd just finished while we talked. I left him when it was time to go to the teen supergroup meeting. That started with roleplaying, including showing off my character's new costume. Then we ran a story arc of mine. A sked about doing new content, but it was a small group, probably due to American Thanksgiving being later this week. The others felt we'd like to run the new stuff with more members, and I must say they had a point. One player left before we started, then came back towards the end, not long before the leader dropped out a mission early that last mission ran right into dinner, but we finished the story arc. Then we did only a little more roleplaying before breaking up. {Smile}

I checked on my friends who play the game before breaking to read articles and comics on the web. Eventually, I remembered to write up Monday's daily update, but it was a struggle, with several breaks to read articles on the web and play Cross Stitch World. When I returned to City of Heroes: Homecoming, I found a note from Phonso, who'd left after a possibly long wait. I also started talking with Nox before I got done with that update. Dr. Faustus said hi slightly before I was done with that update. While getting together with Dr. Faustus, Phonso said hi again. We joined him for two back-to-back runs of a trial. Then they both left, saying goodnight. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage, and crafting. Then I made notes in this, with breaks to read articles on the web, and take my relief nurse's phone call. When I was done with the notes, I said the Lord's Prayer and read Forward Day by Day. {Smile}
