Daily Update, March 20, 2026

 The night before Friday, I got very caught up in Cross Stitch World, to the point that I had trouble setting it aside to get ready for bed. Yet, especially with a reminder from Nox, I still got into bed around 2:15. I hope to get to bed sooner with less serious distractions. My main nurse suggested a nap, and I did take a short one after breakfast, but I didn't really feel not tired until I after our errands, when I was at my computer with the fan both on full. I guess I finally got overheated a bit. {Smile}

Before my nap, I called my doctor's office and left a message on their answering machine asking them to send an order to my preferred branch of Clinical Laboratories of Hawai'i. After my nap, my main nurse and I went out for errands.  First, we stopped at my doctor's office. They'd sent in the request as asked, but gave me a paper version of the order, too. Next, we went to the Lanihuli Street branch of Clinical Laboratories of Hawai'i, and got my medical tests done. After that, we went to First Hawaiian Bank. The checks I had to deposit, turned out to be for Dad. His trust doesn't have an account yet, but my financial adviser wants me to set one up. I think I finally found out what I really need to open one. A very self-confident and businesslike woman told me last year that I needed a death certificate and an EIN... I think that's Estate Identification Number. However, when they found it was for his trust, not his estate, they said I needed the TIN, or Tax Identification Number, and the documents that set up the trust. I did get some cash from my own account, because I was running low. Then we ran a few of my nurse's errands while I wrote up Friday's daily update. Yes, fully. by the time we got home, I was done. {Smile}

Over breakfast, I read Forward Day by Day. After we returned home from our errands, I got onto my computer. I quickly corrected the minor formatting mistakes that happen when I write on my phone. Then I shared Friday's daily update before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and did a little of the weekend auction house. Then I noticed a very regular long-term member of the villain supergroup was on. I went to their meeting spot early. settling in shortly before the very long-term member's character showed up. We started to roleplay, and Dr. Faustus soon joined us. Seb's Marius joined us not long after that. We did two story arcs my mid-level, melee-ranged Olga, or most of one - I'd done the first mission the day before, and all of a sequel. Next, we broke up, and I worked on Olga's auction house, storage and crafting until dinner. I also did more of my weekend auction house. {Smile}

After dinner, I read a few comics before I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, and talked with Seb, Ulty, and Jenny's Player. I also talked with Dr. Faustus and later with Nox, both on Discord. I got a bunch of contacts started for Olga. I stopped when I noticed Pierogies said hi. We talked and got together to tour bases. We checked most of them out a bit, so didn't get a whole lot, though we are working on badges giving for visiting a lot of bases. We stopped when Pierogies got tired and said goodnight. Then I started talking with Seb while I worked on more of my weekend auction house until Seb asked about roleplaying. I got Olga and joined his Marius for some private roleplaying. Eventually we said goodnight. I played a little Cross Stitch World, then worked on more of my weekend auction house. Next, I wrote a little of this before breaking to read a comic. After the comic, I made notes in this. I ended by evening with the Lord's Prayer, St. Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 19, 2026

The night before Thursday, I got to bed around (:15 am again. It was slightly earlier, but I do hope to reach more. Still, I want to finish my notes in this before bed, because I know I'll struggle to remember half as much after sleeping much. I did wake at 9 am and didn't seem to need too much rest or blood sugar help again. {Smile}

At breakfast, I started my video counselling session. We had a good talk, including planning to be more involved in preparing breakfast and lunch.  {Smile}

Afterwards, I browsed articles and videos on the web.  Then I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. Next, I read webcomics over lunch.  After lunch, I wrote up my daily update, taking breaks for more webcomics. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, and said hi to Kitten, Pierogies and Jenny's player. I talked with Kitten and Jenny's player. Next, I joined Kitten in the later short, large-group event with me on a character who's particularly good in it. After that, I teamed up with Kitten, with me on the middle-level, melee-ranged version of Olga, the lower-level villain supergroup member. We did a story arc of Olga's together. Dennis joined us in the last mission in time to get a badge from it. Then we said goodnight. I had just enough time for some auction house and storage on her before dinner while reading Forward Day by Day.  {Smile}

After dinner, I read webcomics. Then I wrote a little of this. I said hi to Nox, Kitten, Pierogies, Dennis and Dr. Faustus on Discord, the chat server.  Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming.  I checked on my friends who play the game and said hi to Kitten, Ulty, Jenny's Player, and Seb. After that, I did a little crafting on the melee version of Olga while I talked with Ulty, Jenny's Player and Seb. Then I joined Seb in a player-built cafe for light, mostly public role playing with me and Seb's Marius chatting privately on the side. Eventually Marius left, and Olga went with him. We went to our supergroup for some private role playing. (We're both in the villain supergroup.) Then we said goodnight. I made notes in this, taking a longer break to play Cross Stitch World than I intended.  I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King.  {Smile}

Daily Update, March 18, 2026

The night before Wednesday, I got to bed around 2:15. Taht's half an hour earlier than the day before, though not particularly good or bad compared to usual. The next morning, I was still feeling tired, so I lay down for a nap before lunch, and felt more like myself after that. I didn't have anywhere near as much trouble with feeling tired or with blood sugar after that. {Smile}

My doctor's office called to cancel an appointment I have for tomorrow. It's to go over blood tests which I'd forgotten I need, so I need to reschedule after getting the blood tests. {smile}

After my nap, I browsed articles, videos and comics over lunch and into the afternoon. Then I wrote up Tuesday's daily update, with distinctly less browsing in fewer breaks than usual. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game. I talked with Pierogies, Kitten, Dr. Faustus, and Seb. I also talked with Nox on Discord. I teamed up with Dr. Faustus, with me on Octavia, a moderately low-level human mage. Kitten joined us, and we did several missions, finishing one contact and starting another before Kitten left Then Dr. Faustus and I did one more mission before we broke so I could eat dinner. I read forward Day by Day during that meal. {Smile}

After dinner, I read a few comics. Then I messaged Dr. Faustus and Kitten on Discord, the chat server. I also began talking with Nox on Discord. I ended up going into City of Heroes: Homecoming later than I meant to. I checked on my friends who play the game. I said hi to Kitten, Ulty, Jenny's Player, and Seb, and talked with Ulty, Jenny's Player, and Seb. I started roleplaying with Seb. Then Dr. Faustus joined us. They left for a bit, but I called them back, and we did three-way roleplaying, chatting, during which Kitten said hi privately. Dr. Faustus, Seb and I switched to missions with roleplaying. We did a mission from one contact, then an entire story arc from another contact at my request. Kitten joined partway through. Next, we started a sequel contact's story arc. Kitten left partway through, about the time a friend of Seb's joined. A while later, Dr. Faustus left. Seb, his friend and I finished the second story arc and contact, then said goodnight. I left to work on the in-game auction house and storage. After that, I wrote a little in this, then made a lot of notes in this. I took minimal breaks, including one for minimal Cross Stitch World. Then I said the Lord's Prayer and the motto of the Daughters of the King to finish my evening. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 17, 2026

The night before Tuesday, as I mentioned in the update, I got into a conversation that kept me going and engaged enough, I didn't get into bed until around 2:45 am. Maybe I should be relieved it wasn't 3 am, but mostly I'm determined to not let it get this late again. I drowsed in the car on our trip out and noticed less tiredness later. There was still a fair bit, though that did seem to respond to blood sugar treatment, for the most part. {Smile}

At breakfast time, I planned a morning nap. That changed when my phone made the noise for the calendar. I checked and found out it was the day of the monthly picnic. I checked email but didn't find announcement (not even later, despite the leader swearing she sent one). I called the leader and left a message on her answering machine. She soon called me back and told me we were meeting in the kitchen at the Hawai'i County Office of Aging. {Smile}

After breakfast, my substitute relief nurse took me down to the Office of Aging. We arrived late, as I knew we would. they start at 10, and it's hard enough to do that for church. A second time in a week doesn't happen. Talking over food was in full swing. My nurse came in and met folks, then left for errands she had. We talked about what I've been doing, and I learned what some of the others have been doing, too. When they were done, I texted my substitute relief nurse, then continued to visit with the leader until my nurse came and picked me up to take me home. {Smile}

Back at home, I got onto my computer. I browsed articles and videos, then wrote up some of Monday's daily update before I went into City of Heroes Homecoming, thinking to prepare for the teen supergroup meeting. However, I immediately found a note from Nyxy explaining that the guy who's been meeting me when others don't come couldn't make it. and no one else seemed likely either, so this weeks' meeting was called off. I browsed more videos and read some comics. Then I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, then stepped away briefly. I came back to learn that Pierogies had come on and said hi. I got their attention and learned that they were in the later long, large-group event. I joined the group, and we ran it together. I got two badges I've been working on for a while on that character. Then I worked on the in-game auction house, storage, and crafting. Next, Dennis said hi. We teamed up and did a mission. Then Pierogies joined us and we did another couple of missions. Then we all broke, them heading to bed, and me to dinner with Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

After dinner, I browsed comics and finished writing up Monday's daily update. I finished late enough that I got note on Discord from Nox asking if I'd be done soon. Fortunately, at point I was getting ready to share it. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and said hi to Dr. Faustus. We teamed up with me on the newer, ranged Olga, and they helped me get a badge that improves her stamina, so she tires less easily. While we were finishing, the new gal came on and spoke to the supergroup. She joined us, and we started running bank heists, getting loot and badges that will help her. Next, Dragons said hi and joined us. Then Dragons asked for us to invite Star, a friend of theirs who I'm acquainted with, too. We continued until the new gal and Dr. Faustus had to leave. I left, too, as Dragons and Star joined another friend of theirs. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on a few characters. Then I did a little writing in this before making a fair bit of notes to cover the rest. I did break for comics and videos a few times. I finished my evening with prayers, including the Lord's Prayer and the Daughters of the King's motto, which can be a prayer, too. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 16, 2026

The night before Monday, I got to bed around 2:15 am again. Neither great nor terrible by recent standards, and I didn't struggle too much with feeling tired, I don't think. {Smile}

The previous night, I found an email warning me I had no makeup class after all, because of the storm passing through. the next morning, I got a phone call about the same thing shortly before the class was scheduled. I'm impressed with how they're really on top of making sure we know about this cancellation. {Smile}

A while after breakfast, my substitute relief nurse and I went out to run several errands, mostly the relief nurse's. My class was cancelled due to a storm that is passing the state, so I didn't have that to go to.  We picked up some lunch, because we were going late. We also tried for a popsicle, but they were closed. The park the ice cream parlor is in looked too wet for walking, so we went home. {Smile}

At home, I got onto my computer. I browsed articles, videos, and comics over the rest of lunch, which was late. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Dennis said hi, and we teamed up. I picked Seameownt, the character Kitten designed, and we did one mission. Then I got seriously distracted by a conversation on Discord, the chat server. By the time I got back, Dennis had given up and left. He explained how long he'd waited over Discord when I asked. I tried to explain and apologize. Dinner interrupted getting back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. {smile}

After dinner, I read comics before going back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I said hi to Seb, and we chatted before saying goodnight. I checked on my friends who play the game. I said hi to Michiel and we teamed up. We ran a few missions of mine together. Then Dr. Faustus said hi and joined us. We finished my mission and ran one of Dr. Faustus's. Then Michiel left. Next, Dr. Faustus and I discussed who to play. I got a moderately low-level character named Octavia Ballad and tweaked her costumes to make her younger to match Dr. Faustus's character. We roleplayed them meeting each other and another character of Dr. Faustus's. We did several missions of mine to catch my character up to Dr. Faustus's. Then we can start doing some missions where we both get credit. After that, we said goodnight. I finished tweaking Octavia's costumes, then worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting for both Octavia and Seameownt. Next, I wrote sin this before switching to making notes. I also talked with Dennis on Discord, which helped me to be particularly late to bed. I did remember to say the Lord's Prayer and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 14, 2026

The night before Sunday, I got to bed around 2:15 am. I was hoping for sooner, but that was before I found the Daughters of the King chat that announced that church had been cancelled for the next morning "out of an abundance of caution." Reading that, responding to that, telling Auntie Barbara and my main nurse about that, and adding it to my notes in this all slowed me down. However, I got to sleep in to my regular time, instead of getting up earlier to go to church, so I didn't feel like a needed a nap... unless you count some apparent blood sugar trouble in the late afternoon. It responded well enough to the usual treatments that I'm not counting it. {Smile}

I discovered that the "prayer" I say is officially their motto, not one of their prayers. It sure feels like a prayer to me. It's talking to God and everything. {Smile, wink}

Before bed, the chain I wear my Daughters of the King cross on came apart. After breakfast, I tried to fix it, but I lost a jump ring. I made it work, but not well. So, I told my main nurse, then searched around the house.  I couldn't find anything that was quite right, not even in some jewelry supplies I found. Then I remembered that Auntie Barbara is a retired jeweler. Most retired craftsmen have the supplies for their trade for personal use, so I texted her about it, and she asked what kind of metal I need. I think this will get fixed by someone who really knows about jewelry.  {SMILE}

Over breakfast, I read Forward Day by Day.  Then after settling the necklace, I went on my computer.  I browsed articles, videos, and comics. Next, I wrote up Saturday's daily update, taking breaks for more articles and videos.  After that, I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. Then I went back to my computer and into City of Heroes: Homecoming.  I checked on my friends who play the game, and chatted with Kitten, Pierogies, Seb, Ulty, and Jenny's Player. Kitten was slow to team up due to chores but did so eventually with me on the character they designed. I think Pierogies joined us. We did a few missions from one contact before dinner. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer and into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I said goodnight to Seb, who was just leaving. I chatted with Ulty a bit. Then I checked a few of my characters. I began to play by myself on a moderately low-level character. It was a struggle, but I completed one mission. I had to lower the difficulty and go slow, but I did it.  Next, I read some comics. After that, I said the motto of the Daughters of the King and felt inspired to look at my story.  I revised the first three scenes of my story, trying to tighten it like my instructor said to, but probably nowhere near as severely as she meant. Still, it is a start.  Then I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I did three more missions on the moderately low-level character. It was still difficult, but I got better with practice, and with lowering the difficulty the rest of the way. Next, I worked on that character's auction house, storage and crafting.  After that, I wrote some of this, and made notes in this with fewer, shorter breaks than usual. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer and the motto of the Daughters of the King.  {Smile}

Daily Update, March 14, 2026

The night before Saturday I got to bed a while before 2:30 am, and didn't really settle until around 3am, despite trying to fall asleep quickly. So, a while after breakfast, when I'd gotten myself ready for the day, I took a nap. I felt better after that nap, though I still managed to catch myself nodding off after dinner, though that was the only time. Once I woke up, I stayed awake that time. {Smile}

We thought we might go out, but there were flash flood warnings, and recommendations to stay home. I even got an alert saying that on my phone. With me needing a morning nap, it was a slow day, anyway, so we didn't go out as my nurse thought we might, even before the alert. {smile}

I got a call from Auntie Barbara before dinner, checking on me. she had distinctly more trouble with the storm than my nurse and I did. However, she hoped to be at church, which we expected to start early. That is, until I found a Daughters of the King group text saying that the service was cancelled "out of an abundance of caution" because of the storm that's going through the state this weekend. I immediately texted Auntie Barbara to let her know, so she wouldn't drive into town for nothing. {smile}

Over breakfast, I read Forward Day by Day. Then after my nap, I went onto my computer. I browsed articles, videos, and comics right over lunch. Then I wrote up some of Friday's daily update. I paused to do a personal chore my main nurse let me know about. Then I tried to get back into writing my daily update, but I ended up just giving up for the moment and going into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and said hi to some of them. I also checked a few of my characters while chatting with Seb and Pierogies, and maybe Dr. Faustus. Pierogies and I got together and visited several bases, with me on my best badge collector. We got a badge, with two more possible if we keep at it. Kitten said hi, and joined us just as Pierogies said goodbye and left. I switched to the character Kitten designed. Auntie Barbra's phone call came during this. Kitten and I completed a story arc my character had enough before dinner for me to squeeze in a tiny bit of auction house and crafting before dinner, too. {Smile}

After dinner. I read comics. Then I finished writing Friday's daily update. During that, I caught myself napping but roused and stayed awake. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and said hi to some of them. We chatted while I finished auction house, crafting and storage for the character Kitten designed, and while I checked a few more characters. I also talked briefly with Nox on Discord. Dr. Faustus said hi. We talked, then teamed up with me on Peony Boffin, my lower-level teen supergroup member. We did a story arc she had, then said goodnight. After that, I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Peony, with a break to read a comic. Then I wrote a little, and made notes in this, with breaks to check Cross Stitch World, read a comic and watch a couple of videos. On my way to bed, I learned about church being cancelled, and told Auntie Barbara and my main nurse. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer.

Daily Update, March 13, 2026

The night before Friday, I got to bed around 2:15 am. I didn't feel particularly tired the next day, nor did I do much exercise, since my teacher cancelled my Ballroom Dance class because of the storm. {Smile}

After breakfast, without class, I got onto my computer and browsed articles, videos, and comics right through the late morning and lunch. In the early afternoon, I began to write up Thursday's daily update. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I checked a couple of my characters. I played by myself a little on a new version of my higher-level villain supergroup member, Hezabell. A new member of the villain supergroup who has barely come started talking in the supergroup channel. I finished a mission and joined her. We roleplayed, and I showed her where we meet. The other regular arrived, then Seb, the new member who's been coming. Dr. Faustus also came. However, our leader didn't; he'd warned us ahead of time. Dr. Faustus picked a story arc my Olga had, so I got her. We ran several missions with a new contact. Kitten mewed, but I was busy, so we just talked. After some missions, the new gal and the long-term regular left. Dr. Faustus and Seb helped with one more mission. Dr. Faustus left when it looked like the end was in sight. Then it refused to complete. Dr. Faustus couldn't have helped. When Seb and I gave up, he suggested there must be an enemy out of reach, like under the map. After we said goodbye, I refreshed the missions of a different, very low-level character before I had dinner while reading Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

After dinner, I read comics. Then I finished Thursday's daily update before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I checked some characters, then played by myself on a different, almost as low-level character. I also talked a bit with Nox on Discord before they went to bed. Next, Dennis said hi. we talked while I finished a mission, and a bit beyond. Then I switched to a moderately high-level character, and we teamed up. We did a mission of mine, then a related mission of his, followed by a sequel to my first mission. Next, we did some of a hunt he had until we gave up and said goodnight, I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting, then made notes in this, with breaks for Cross Stitch World and chatting with Kitten on Discord. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, St. Francis's Prayer, and the Daughters of the King's prayer. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 12, 2026

The night before Thursday, I got to bed around 2:15 am. Not as bad as some nights, but I really want better. I was somewhat tired through the day, but I've been worse, and some could have been blood sugar. I didn't take a nap. {Smile}

At breakfast, I tried to start my online counselling appointment, but when i tried t sign in, it said it was past. I checked, and it said it was a 9:00 am appointment. My calendar said 10 am, like usual. So, I messaged my counsellor, who sent me another invite. Then we had our appointment, which I thought went well. We ended a couple minutes early so I could go down to my hearing aids' appointment. {Smile}

I talked briefly with a gal I met through my main nurse on the way to the car, first going too far one way, then overcompensating so we had to turn around to finally get on the right route to Hilo hearing Aid's office. Once we got there, it went well. My main nurse waited int eh waiting room while I took my hearing aids in. I got new supplies, since I was running low on them, and he dried them out and cleaned them up for another few months. {Smile}

Then my main nurse took me to the ice cream parlor in Liliu'okalani Gardens, where I got a chocolate fudge popsicle. I learned the gal who made them recently returned. I also learned that they will be closed for several days towards the end of the month while the owner takes a vacation. After that stop, my main nurse took me home. {Smile}

When I was nearing home, I discovered my phone didn't save my daily update again. When I got home, I went onto my computer and browsed a few articles and videos over lunch. Then I tried writing my daily update on my computer until I discovered it didn't save either. I don't know whether it's the machines or Blogger at this point. Anyway, I gave up and went to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I checked my characters, including auction house and storage on the new, ranged version of Olga, my lower-level villain supergroup member. Then I started playing by myself on Olga. She doesn't tire as easily as she did, thanks to some tweaks, and a new power the last time she went up in level. Well, except with certain opponents. I'm still tweaking to improve her. I talked with Seb. Then I took a break to join the later long, large-group event on a different character. After that, worked on auction house and storage for that character before I went back to Olga, and did a mission or two on her until I reached a mission where they recommended bringing friends. It was dinnertime anyway, so I had dinner while I read Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

After dinner, I read comics and wrote up Wednesday's daily update. My main nurse told me that my Ballroom Dance Class was cancelled. I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse, then went into City of Heroes: Homecoming, where I found a note from Dr. Faustus, who I started talking with while I checked on my other friends who play the game. Dr. Faustus and I teamed up. They helped me with that mission, then with a story arc. Seb joined for the last few missions of the story arc. Then we three parted. I worked on Olga's auction house and storage. Then I wrote a little in this before I made notes in this. I took breaks to play Cross Stitch World and to fiddle with characters in City of Heroes: Homecoming. Then I said the Lord's Prayer and the prayer of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 11, 2026

The night before Wednesday, I went to bed a few minutes after 2 am. I slept well, though I was sleepy when I got up, probably because the alarm actually woke me up, instead of just getting my attention. I think I had less trouble with feeling tired or sleepy later. {Smile}

Before breakfast, the house phone rang twice, but I barely head a person before it went quiet the first time and didn't hear a person the second time. Then my smartphone rang. it was Hilo hearing Aid, reminding me that my hearing aids have an appointment the next day.  When I tried to tell my main nurse about it later, he told me first. He already had noticed it on his calendar. {Smile}

After dinner, my main nurse took me down to the Church of the Holy Cross for the last night of my Wednesday night Ballroom Dance Classes. We had a "pupu party." ("Pupu" means finger food or snack in Hawaiian. When many folks bring them, they turn into a quite varied meal.) We started with a few dances, then broke for a dinner with so many dishes, we didn't have much of any of them. After dinner, we danced many more dances, including a line dance... possibly two, but if so, I missed the first while I was in the little room. I danced with several guys, and couple women, including a square of four of us for one dance. With there normally being more gals than guys, I need to do that more often. After the party, my main nurse took me back home. {Smile}

During breakfast, I read Forward Day by Day, since I knew I'd be busy at dinnertime. After breakfast, I got onto my computer.  I browsed videos, articles, and comics through the morning.  I started writing Tuesday's daily update around noon and continued right through lunch, and afterwards until I finished. Only when it was done and shared did I go into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I checked a couple of my characters. I played by myself on the new, ranged version of Olga, the lower-level villain supergroup member, doing a story arc I enjoy doing by myself until the last mission failed to have the boss show up when you need to fight them. I tried again, and the same thing happened. So, I switched to another character for the later short, large-group event, followed by the later long, large-group event. Next, I went back to Olga and tried the mission again. I hoped that changing characters a couple of times would help, but the boss still didn't show up. So, I broke to eat a light supper before I went to the dance with it's much heavier but very late dinner. {Smile}

When I got back home, I got onto my computer and into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I found a note from Dr. Faustus saying they wouldn't be in that night. I answered them on Discord, the chat server. Then I checked on my friends who play the game. Next, I tried that mission again, but it still didn't complete, so I auto-completed it, an option I don't like to use unless I have to. After that, I and read about the end of the story arc on a wiki dedicated to Homecoming's version of City of Heroes. I gained a level, so I upgraded my character. Then I ran a few missions in another story arc. I gained another level and improved my character again. Next, I tried to tweak Olga because she was tiring before the end of battles. After that, I made notes in this, taking a short break for Cross Stitch World, and a longer break to check and tweak Olga again before I finished my notes. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer and the Daughters of the King's prayer. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 10, 2026

The night before Tuesday, I went to bed a little after 2 am. I felt reasonably good when I got up at 9 am the next morning. I had relatively little blood sugar trouble making me tired or anything. {Smile}

After breakfast, I tried to print out a few copies of my story for my Creative Writing Class. However, I couldn't sign into Google Docs. When I clicked the button to sign in, it called up a new instance of the website instead every time. So, all I could do was tell my class that. {spread hands}

A little later, my substitute relief nurse took me to my Creative Writing Class. We had a good session, including a potluck lunch because it was the last day of this session. I thought I hadn't brought anything, but realized I could set out my salad, and did so at the last moment. I also talked with the instructor.  She wants me to really tighten my story so that it fits into a picture book. I don't know if I can, but I'll try. My substitute relief nurse took me home afterwards. {Smile}

I finished writing up Monday's daily update on the way down to class and back, but the website refused to update. It warned me more than once that if I left that page, all work would be lost. So, when I got home, I called it up on my computer. Sure enough, it had the notes, not the paragraphs. I had to copy changes in by hand, though that was easier than writing it over again. I did read a couple of articles and a few comics to settle in first, before all the copying. {Smile}

As I finished, I realized I was slightly late to my teen supergroup meeting, though I wouldn't have been before the clocks changed. When most of the nation shifts to daylight savings time, Hawai'i doesn't. When scheduling things online, where folks can be in different time zones, meetings effectively move back an hour for me, then forward later in the year. So, I dashed off to the meeting without sharing the update I'd just finished. I dashed into City of Heroes: Homecoming and into the meeting. I checked on my friends who play the game while getting going. I found three others waiting, including the fellow who's usually there, Nyxy's character, and a less frequent gal. Ulty, our leader, still wasn't feeling up to it. We did a story arc Aneira, my higher-level teen sg member, had. Pierogies and Kitten said hi, but I was busy playing with the others. The less frequent member left when she was just too tired. The rest of us stuck it out, leaving as soon as it was done. I think they left for bed; I went to dinner, where I read Forward Day by Day.  {Smile}

After dinner, I shared Monday's daily update before I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I started with the auction house and storage Aneira's play earlier produced. I checked on my friends who play the game next. Dr. Faustus said hi, and we teamed up and finished the last contact for the new, ranged version of Olga, my lower-level villain supergroup member. Then we fought a giant monster to get her a few experience points. We didn't get many, so we did two story arcs, which did get her a level which made her eligible for more content. Then we said goodnight. I quickly levelled her and did a quick round of auction house and storage. Next, I wrote a tiny bit of this, and made notes for the rest of it, with minimal breaks to check short comics and Cross Stitch World. After that I read two longer web comics. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer and the Daughters of the King's prayer. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 9, 2026

The night before Monday, I got to bed a while before 2:30. I did drowse a bit on our first ride, which helped, but I felt tired in the afternoon and evening. at least treating my blood sugar seemed to help in the evening. {Smile}

I said a prayer specifically of The Order of the Daughters of the King several times through the day... I seem to have memorized it unusually quickly and easily. It helps me focus on service, and just on doing what I can, instead of just stewing over it. Somehow, I need that right now. {worn smile}

After breakfast, my substitute relief nurse took me down to Auntie Sally's Lua'u Hale for me First Timer's Line Dancing class. I got there early, so I had a little time to chat with folks. Class went well. We did so many dances, and danced so much, I actually got tired at the end. Then my severe, permanent vertigo didn't just stay by the baseline, and I sat down for much of the last piece. When it makes itself felt, it's good to rest. {smile}

After class, my substitute relief nurse took me to the ice cream parlor in Liliu'okalani Gardens, where I got two chocolate fudge popsicles, one for then, and one for later. It's been a few weeks since I've seen them, and they're my favorite flavor, so I felt like I had to get them. Then we went home. {Smile}

At home, I got onto my computer, and browsed articles and videos, but mostly read comics well into the afternoon. Then I wrote up Sunday's daily update. I didn't get into City of Heroes: Homecoming until later than usual. However, when I checked on my friends who play the game, I found Kitten quickly, and they responded. We teamed up, and Kitten asked me to add Dennis, too. The three of us did two missions Olga, my ranged version of my lower-level villain supergroup member had, starting a contact neatly. Then I went to dinner, where I read Forward Day by Day, as well as started a novel. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Kitten was quiet, Dennis was gone, and Dr. Faustus and Sebastian were busy. So, I went out and read a comic. Then I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. Seb was free, but in no mood to play, because he'd done an intense play session with other friends earlier So, we role-played. A distant friend asked me to a taskforce, but Seb still didn't want to play. By the time I decided to join, it had filled. So, Seb and I role-played some more. When that friend got done, they invited me to another taskforce. Seb still didn't want to play but told me to go ahead. So, I switched to a character who could use the badges it could give her. Dr. Faustus said hi during the taskforce. We got together after the taskforce without Seb, who still wasn't in a mood to play. Dr. Faustus and I finished the contact that Kitten, Dennis and I started before dinner. Next, we did the first mission from the next contact, who is the last villain contact at her level. After that, we said goodnight. I did some paperwork on both characters I played that evening. Next, I wrote in this. I broke to play Cross Stitch World then I shifted to making notes in this. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer and the prayer of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 8, 2026

The night before Sunday, I got to be a while before 2:30. I still got up a little before nine, as I usually do on Sunday, because I had church at 10, I did notice feeling tired, but not the point that I felt I had to take a nap. {Smile}

After breakfast, my main nurse took me to church. We arrived there fully before the service. The announcements started as we were taking our seats. The service was nice. I sat with Auntie Barbara, but she left when two children showed up. That was a happy surprise. It was rainy enough that we didn't really expect them. {Smile}

After the service, I got a plate for lunch, then took it to the parish hall, where we had the monthly meeting for the Daughters of the King. We had one guest, who sat with us while waiting for a ride home. Katie offered to take me home, but we found my main nurse waiting for me, so I went home with him. I thought he'd be off shopping. {Smile}

After I got home, I got onto my computer. I browsed articles and comics. Then I wrote up the rest of Saturday's daily update. Next, I cleaned myself up with help of my main nurse. After that, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I checked a few characters. Next, I did a mission by myself to finish a contact on new, ranged of Olga, my lower-level villain supergroup member. I also chatted with Nox on Discord, the chat server. After that, I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting until I went to dinner, where I read Forward Day by Day while I ate. {Smile}

After dinner, I read comics before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game. I also checked a few characters. Then I said hi to friends on Discord and started chatting with Nox there. Back in City of Heroes: Homecoming, I chatted with Seb while I started to play on Olga. Dr. Faustus and Seb soon came and joined me. We finished one of my contacts. A new fellow joined us partway through. I established long-term contact with him at the end. Next, I chatted with Seb until we said goodnight. After that, I wrote a little in this before shifting to making notes in this. I did take a break that involved a bit of Cross Stitch World, and another to check City of Heroes: Homecoming. I ended by evening with the Lord's Prayer. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 7, 2026

 The night before Saturday, I got to bed a little after 2 am. I think I'm getting better at this. I was tired through the day, but that might have been my blood sugar being unstable, especially since it hit a few times, but was okay in between. {Smile}

I had warned my main nurse that I'd like to fix myself breakfast the night before. He was surprised but encouraged me after thinking about it. It was just fixing myself a scrambled egg in the microwave, without using any extra ingredients to pad a pared down meal. I realized I'm out of practice, but got it done fine, just a little slower than I remember. When he saw I actually could fix that egg, my main nurse became more encouraging of me becoming more independent, which was wonderful. {Smile}

Through the morning and into lunch, I revised my story for my creative writing class. I read the whole thing out loud because somehow that makes some mistakes more obvious. That was a long read for one sitting. When I was done, I couldn't tackle my daily update like hoped to. My brain had done enough thinking for a while. However, I got the editing done. {Smile}

After breakfast, I browsed a few articles and comics on my computer before I started editing my story. I had lunch while I was editing. After the editing, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked a few of my characters. Then I checked on my friends who play the game. I was tired of the new version of my lower-level villain supergroup member. I tried playing by myself on a character I haven't played as much recently, but I struggled with her missions until I switched to a different character who I also haven't played much recently. She's both a sturdier character and has hunts and badges to collect that are easier to do by myself than the missions the other has. I also chatted a bit with Seb, the new member of the villain supergroup, and with my main nurse in real life until dinner. I read Forward Day by Day during dinner. {Smile}

After dinner, I finished writing up Friday's daily update. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Next, I checked a few of my characters. I also started talking with Nox on Discord. I checked on my friends again, and messaged Dr. Faustus on Discord. They messaged me that they'd be over soon, so I just talked with Seb while I waited. H pointed out that I mostly roleplay with his character named Marius, so I can see that name, too. Dr. Faustus came on, and we teamed up with me on the new version of Olga, the lower-level villain supergroup member, and finished a story arc and a little more from a contact, almost finishing the contact entirely. After that, Dr. Faustus left. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting, and started writing a bit of this. Then I said hi to Seb, who invited me to bring Olga to join Marius in public roleplaying. I joined him, and met some other folks, including a couple of friends, but their characters didn't know Olga. Eventually, I left to make notes in this, with a break to read a comic. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 6, 2026

 The night before Friday, I got to be a few minutes after two am. My nurse thought I looked tired ont he way home, but I drowse, and I perked up when I could change into slightly cooler clothes and get some lunch into me. Maybe it was overheating, blood sugar, or a combination of the two. {Smile}

After breakfast, my main nurse took me to Kamana Senior Center for my Ballroom Dance: Samba Class. I got there a bit early, which gave me time to handle the appreciation to the teacher that they do every semester. It was a really good session. I danced with a guy who's practicing all the beginner steps. with his help, I added the last few to my repertoire. I also danced with the teacher's assistant, the teacher, a gal I usually team with who comes late, and a gal I dance with rarely who really knows the moves. I chatted with some of them, too. After class, my main nurse took me back home. {Smile}

Back home I browsed articles, videos and comics over lunch. Then I wrote some of Thursday's daily update before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked the in-game auction house and storage for a couple characters. Then I checked on my friends who play the game and said hi. I did more in-game auction house and storage, then a few talk-missions on the new, ranged version of my lower-level villain supergroup member. Seb, the new member of my villain supergroup said hi. We chatted and teamed up. He helped me with a mission. Next, we did another mission that was extra-long because we went after all the side stuff as well as the main part. It ran into the villain supergroup meeting, so Dr. Faustus asked if we were coming. We went as soon as feasible. Dr. Faustus, our leader, and the other regular were already there. Once Seb and I got there, we soon started a special story arc that was low enough for the new ranged version of my lower-level supergroup member to do. I was happy they bothered to find something low enough to include her. Afterwards, the group split up. Most left, and Seb went quiet. I worked on the in-game auction house and storage. Then Dennis said hi, and we teamed up. He got a character who was doing the story arc with the talks I'd done earlier. He quickly did his talks. Then we did the grand finale together, with both of us getting full credit for it. That was really nice, as we both said as we parted as I left for dinner. I read Forward Day by Day during dinner. {Smile}

After dinner, I finished writing Thursday's daily update and started talking with Nox on Discord, the chat server. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and said hi. Seb said hi back, but he was busy. I worked on the in-game auction house and storage from before dinner. Next, I did a story arc by myself. After that, I did more in-game auction house and storage until Seb said hi. We chatted a while, then got together to roleplay. He finally met my higher-level villain supergroup member individually. When we ran out of stuff to roleplay, it was close to my bedtime, so I switched to out-of-character chatting until we said goodnight. I did slip in a little writing in this during a longer pause in the roleplaying. After we said goodnight, I began notes in this. I took a brief break to check Cross Stitch World, and another couple of brief breaks to check friends on City of heroes: Homecoming and do a tiny bit of the in-game auction house and storage there. When I finished making notes in this, I said the Lord's Prayer. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 5, 2026

The night before Thursday, I got to bed just after two am. I think the tiredness I felt in the evening was blood sugar, not needing a nap. So that went well. {Smile}

I started my video counselling over breakfast and continued afterwards. I think we had a helpful session. {Smile}

After counseling, I read articles comics and watched videos. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming.  I checked a character and worked with auction house for them.  Next, I read comics while I ate lunch. After that, I finished writing up Wednesday's daily update. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked a few characters.  I also checked my friends who play the game and said hi to a couple of them.  I began to play by myself on the new, longer-ranged version of my lower-level villain supergroup member.  Next, the new villain supergroup member who actually shows up said hi. (He says to call him Sebastian or Seb.) We chatted as I continued to play by myself. Later, he invited me to roleplay. We chatted in character. On the side, Kitten said hi privately. We chatted, but I felt tied to the roleplaying, so we didn't get together. The roleplaying continued until I got called to dinner. {Smile}

After dinner, my main nurse helped me clean myself up. Then I went back onto my computer and began talking with Nox on Discord, the chat server. I also went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I checked the auction house and storage for the new, ranged version of my lower-level villain supergroup member. Next, I played by myself on her until Dr. Faustus said hi. We teamed up and did some missions, and getting one contact unlocked. We started to unlock a second contact, but then Dr. Faustus spotted a group doing a mission he really wanted to do. Unfortunately, they disconnected during it, missing the part they really wanted to do. He left, in a bad mood, but I talked to him on Discord, offering a story arc the older, melee-ranged version of the lower-level villain supergroup member had. I had to convince them it wasn't a retired character before they agreed, but then we ran it. Sebastian joined us for the last mission and a half. When we were done, I went straight to making notes this. I did take a couple breaks, including checking a character again in City of Heroes: Homecoming. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer. {Smile}

Daily Update. March 4, 2026

The night before Wednesday, I got to bed around 2:15, too late to say a little after two, but too early to say before 2:30. I will keep trying for earlier, but at least it wasn't later.  Also, I am happy to say that I only one had trouble with blood sugar that day. At the end of dance class, they had some sweet snacks. after them, I felt tired, but not too long. I suspect my blood sugar was adjusting. {Smile}

After dinner, my main nurse took me down to Church of the Holy Cross for my Ballroom Dance classes. I started writing Wednesday's daily update on the way down. We arrived a little early.  Both classes went well. The second ended slightly early After it wis when I found the sweet snacks that might have upset my blood sugar. {smile}

Over breakfast, I read Forward Day by Day, because I could stretch breakfast more easily than dinner.  After breakfast, I read articles and comics on my computer, continuing through lunch. Then I wrote up the rest of Tuesday's daily update a while after lunch. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked one my friends who play the game and said hi to Kitten and the new villain supergroup member who's actually getting involved. After that, I checked my characters and the in-game auction house. Then I collected badges on the ranged version of my lower-level villain supergroup member until the new villain supergroup member said hi. We chatted, then got together to roleplay. We got to know each others' characters better. I made up two cousins for my character on the fly. I should actually make them pretty soon. We said goodnight when it got late for the new guy. Then my main nurse warned me dinner would be early due to my dance classes later, but I had a little time. So, I contacted a few friends in Discord. I started the last regular mission in the story arc Dr. Faustus and I did most recently. Kitten joined me, and it immediately got easier. Dennis joined us at the end, but I only had a talk-mission left. We did chat a bit, but I got called to dinner before I could start anything else. {Smile}

After I got back from class, I read articles and comics on my computer. Then I started talking with Nox on Discord before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and said hi to Dennis and Dr. Faustus. Dennis got Dr. Faustus into a seasonal mission, but it filled before I found a character. I joined the team after that mission, when some left. They did two more similar missions before the team broke up and Dennis left. Next, Dr. Faustus and I teamed up. We got a couple of contacts started. I also met one contact who's a little higher level than I am now, but I will get to her when I'm ready. After that, Dr. Faustus and I said goodnight. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting. Then I made notes in this, and wrote a little more in it, too. I browsed the web before I finished my evening by saying the Lord's Prayer. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 3, 2026

The night before Tuesday, I got to bed a while after two am. Each day I manage to get closer to two am than 2:30 am, I got up around nine, right on schedule. I feel better I still managed to drowse a few times but suspect my blood sugar encouraged that, though getting a little more sleep might help, too. {Smile}

A while before lunch, my substitute relief nurse took me to Kamana Senior Center for my Creative Writing class. We had a nice lecture. When we broke into groups, I joined a group where everyone was working on revising handouts to tighten and clarify the writing. I do need to revise my story now that all major parts are more-or-less in. After class, my substitute relief nurse took me home {Smile}

In the middle of the afternoon, my financial adviser called. I told her what I'd found out at the state retirement office. Then we discussed the phone conversation last week and what it means to my future. This will take more planning, as well as more work, but at least we got started. {smile}

After breakfast, I got onto my computer. I checked some characters in City of Heroes: Homecoming and worked with the in-game auction house for one. I also wrote some of Monday's daily update before going to class. After I got back, I browsed articles and videos and read comics over and after lunch. Then I wrote more of Monday's daily update. I got the phone call while I was going into City of Heroes: Homecoming. After the call, I checked on my friends who play the game, and a few characters, too. Next, I went to the teen supergroup meeting on my higher-level member, arriving first. The message was the same as last week, so I checked with Ulty. She wasn't feeling up to it again. The fellow who's been coming arrived while we were talking. I let him know what she said and checked with Nyxy. They weren't feeling up to playing either but fully expect to be back next week. Jenny's Player has stepped back from the game, and the only other member I know was not there. He was probably at his Tuesday night tabletop role-playing game. The fellow and I ran the next story arc in the alternate reality to the apocalyptic place. We ran right up to my dinner time ne his bedtime. I read Forward Day by Day during dinner. {Smile}

After dinner, I finished writing Monday's daily update. Then I read some comics before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I also started talking with Nox on Discord, the chat server. I checked my characters and checked my friends again. Next, I began playing by myself on the new, ranged version of my lower-level villain supergroup member. I hunted and got a mission I'd been hoping for because of badges, so I ran that mission. After that, I worked on another badge. Then I started another mission but stopped to message Dr. Faustus on Discord. I read a comic or two before going back and starting that mission again. However, a distant friend invited me to a taskforce. So, I quit the mission and ran the taskforce with them and the team they recruited. Dr. Faustus said hi during the taskforce, so we talked. It was too late to get together by the time the taskforce ended. I just worked on the in-game auction house, storage, and crafting. Then I wrote a tiny bit of this and made notes for the rest of it before I said the Lord's Prayer to finish my evening. {Smile}

Daily Update, March 2, 2026

The night before Monday, I got to bed shortly after 2 am. That's the earliest recently. I noticed a little drowsing during the day, but not much, and it might have been blood sugar, considering that treatments that helped that helped me wake up. {Smile}

Just after breakfast, the secretary of the nursing company came by for my monthly check. {Smile}

After she left, I got ready to go to my First Timer's Line Dance Class. Then my substitute relief nurse took me to class. I was late, and tried to apologize as I got checked in, tardiness is just not as big a problem. It was a fun class. The first dance I joined in on was particularly easy. Some later ones were significantly trickier. {Smile}

After class, my substitute relief nurse took me to get popsicles. I got banana cream for now, and guava cream for later. Then she took me home. {Smile}

After lunch, I called my financial adviser. She wasn't in that day, but they promised she'd call the next day. {Smile}

When I got home, after class and the popsicles, I got onto my computer. I started with reading a couple of articles. Then I read a bunch of comics over lunch. Next, I finished writing Sunday's daily update. After that I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I checked various characters. Next, Dr. Faustus said hi. We joined the later short, large-group event, since it was time, and ran it. After that, the large group broke up, and Dr. Faustus and I teamed up. I got the new, ranged version of my lower-level villain supergroup member. We started running her story arcs, first finishing the one I'd done hunts for, which was the first in a series of four. I played right through dinner. {Smile}

When I finished the first story arc, I continued with all of the next two sequels. After they were done, my character still wasn't quite high enough level for the last sequel in the series of four story arcs. So, we ran part of an unrelated story arc before we switched to a different story arc unrelated to either that I'd done before. That got me high enough for the third sequel in the series of four. We did almost all of that one, then talked as we wound down. I also worked on the in-game auction house and storage and learned some strategy tips from Dr. Faustus. Then I got a new contact and started it before I made notes in this. I only took a few breaks, including one for Cross Stitch World, and one to read Forward Day by Day, since I'd missed it by playing over dinner. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer. {Smile}

Monday, March 2, 2026

Daily Update, March 1, 2026

The night before Sunday, I got to bed just after 2 am. I got up a while before 9am in hopes of getting to church in time for the 10am service and didn't feel a need for much drowsing or any napping later. {Smile}

My main nurse took me to church after breakfast. I mostly played Cross Stitch World on the way down. We actually arrived just before the announcements. We were settling down when they started. I sat just in front of my main nurse, since Auntie Barbara was busy with Sunday School for two kids. During personal celebration time, I and a couple other Daughters of the King went up, and we celebrated me finally formally joining the Daughters of the King (or finishing the paperwork and getting it submitted properly). Auntie Barbara came and sat with me a bit before the communion and stayed for the rest of the service. {Smile}

After the service, I got ready to join the Daughters of the King meeting but learned that it's next week. I had been misinformed in the buffet line. So, I sat with Auntie Barbara and several others for lunch. Afterwards, I rode along with Auntie Barbara while she went to Safeway so we could talk privately in the car, since she's concerned about the recent meeting with the head of the nursing company and my financial adviser. Walking around the store with her was nice, too. When we were done, she took me home. {Smile}

After I got home, I got onto my computer. I read articles and watched videos, both on the net. Then I shared the daily update I wrote the night before. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and said hi to Dennis and Kitten. I teamed up with both of them after a short wait, during which I checked the new version of my lower-level villain supergroup member. Dennis, Kitten and I did a few missions. We started with Dennis's, and continued, since that's a useful story arc in building a character, though I did change characters after the first mission. I thought I messaged Dr Faustus on Discord, the chat server. After a while, Kitten decided they needed a nap and left. Dennis and I did one more quick mission before he left for a break. This gave me time to clean myself up with the help of my main nurse before dinner. During dinner, I watched the news on TV and read Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

After dinner, I found I hadn't properly messaged Dr Faustus, so I did message them on Discord. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game. I found Dennis, and we teamed up to do a few missions. Dr Faustus joined us, then so did Pierogies. Next, Dr Faustus disconnected repeatedly until they gave up. Pierogies left after a while. After that, Dennis left, too. So, I played by myself on the new version of the lower-level villain supergroup member. I finished a contact and did some hunts that start another contact. Then I worked on the in-game auction house, storage, and crafting. I also chatted with Nox on Discord and read comics. Next, I did some more work on the in-game auction house and storage and played by myself on a character who's good at hunting. Then I worked some more on the in-game auction house storage and crafting. After that, I made notes in this, taking one break to read a comic. Then I began writing this up, since it seemed a little early to head to bed. I ended my day by saying the Lord's Prayer. {Smile}

Daily Update, February 28, 2026

The night before Saturday, I got to bed a little after 20. Yes, the better part of half an hour earlier than the night before. I'd like to do this more regularly, though even earlier would be better yet. One step at a time, though. Despite more sleep, I felt tired when I first woke up. However, it wore off as I moved around. {Smile}

Over breakfast, my nurse and I watched the news about Iraq. That was quite a surprise, especially when they first learned about the ruler of Iraq being killed. That was shortly after breakfast for me. {smile}

After I got tired of watching the news, which was developing slowly except for that one flurry about the leader of Iraq being killed, I turned on my computer. I read articles and comics, and watched videos, all on the web, right through lunch. Then I wrote up most of Friday's daily update. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked the in-game auction house. I think I did one mission on the new version of my lower-level villain supergroup member. Then I checked on my friends who play the game. I said hi to Kitten, who invited me to join them in a high-level zone. We ran a couple of individual missions while waiting for someone to start recruiting a large group for special content in that zone. While we were doing that, Dennis joined the group. When the large group broke up, Dennis, Kitten and I teamed up. We did a mission of mine, then one of Dennis's, then a mission of mine from a different contact. I usually like to continue stories, but they were already by the mission, and it turned out to be the last from that contact anyway. Then Dennis left, and after some thought, Kitten did, too. I worked on the in-game auction house, crafting, and storage until dinner, which wasn't that far off. I read Forward Day by Day and watched the news during supper. {Smile}

After supper, I checked comics on the web. Then I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and said hi to Dennis and Kitten. Dennis said hi back. We teamed up and did a series of missions of his. He offered to do mine, but I was too interested in the story his let me live for a while. Then he decided it was time for bed, so we said goodnight. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting. Then I wrote a bit of this. Next, I looked around and said hi to the new fellow in my villain supergroup. We got together and roleplayed. when he was quiet for a while, I wrote a bit more of this until he came back and apologized for steeping away from the computer. We resumed roleplaying. I noticed the time, started to excuse myself, and thought to show him my character's room before we parted. then I finished writing this, since I was mostly done already, with one pause to browse on Amazon. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer and tried to get to bed a little earlier than most nights. {Smile}
