On Sunday, I got up about half an hour late because the alarm didn't go off. I hadn't set it right; this may be the first time I've had this problem. {thoughtful look}
Anyway, after breakfast, I rushed getting ready, and contacted Uber. A gal came and took me to church. Considering how late I got up, I think I'm lucky to have gotten there about when the second reading started. I got the full sermon as well as the communion. {Smile}After the service, I had lunch with Auntie Barbara. Afterwards, our pastor, Katlyn, came and showed me the replacement memorial plaques we'd gotten because Mom's mother's plaque and Dad's father's plaque had gone missing. They aren't brass like the originals because our priest wasn't happy with the brass ones, and Grandma's maiden name was spelled wrong anyway. They black stick-on plaques, and she put them in, each on their spouse's pew. Grandma Mae had always wanted her own plaque on her husband's pew. Grandfather had had his own pew originally, but they're all claimed by others now. He simply had to share with someone. I figured he might as well share with his wife. {Smile}
Afterwards, I went home with Auntie Barbara. She came inside to visit with Mom, and we sang nine songs together, at least one twice. {Smile}
I ate dinner with Mom and read to her before that. She was resting when I came in, but fairly good about looking at the pictures I showed her. She rested between, but she looked at the pictures until the end. Then she was too busy resting. She also responded once or twice. I started my reading with scripture and thoughts about it first. Then I continued her niece's long family Christmas letter from 2019. After that, I read the last few pages from _The Calming Cat Book_. Then I read "Pixie Learns to Jump," "the Singing Dinosaurs," and "the Fox and the Crow," starting _365 Animal Stories and Rhymes_. I finished with the 2nd of June's story, "Ferdie's Friends," from _366 Stories for Bedtime_. {Smile}
I did my arm resistance exercises and my arm swinging exercises between reading to Mom and dinner. Then I did my salsa dancing warmup - yes, the full set: a little over 8 1/2 minutes because of stopping and backing up at one point. After a break, I did my head exercises. I'm not sure if that's as much exercise as Saturday, but maybe it was. I was certainly tired after my salsa dancing, and a little tired after the head exercises. The head exercises are little enough exercise, I think I wasn't fully recovered from the salsa dancing warmup. {Smile}
After church, I read articles and comics. Then I cleaned myself up. Next, I wrote Saturday's daily update before I hopped into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I said hi to Azurette, Pierogies, and Dennis. Azurette didn't respond. Pierogies and Dennis did. I joined Dennis in doing missions. I passed up a chance to join Pierogies in the later long, large-group event because I was already arranging to team with Dennis. I helped Dennis finish a story arc. We planned to do a follow-up arc some other day. This ran up to time to read to Mom. {Smile}
After dinner, I began writing this up. Then I hopped into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I talked with Ulty, but she was busy, so I started working with a low-level character. I stopped at the costume shop to make a couple of costumes. While I was finishing up, Dr. Faustus invited me to join him in a mission that gives a particular badge. I found a character who needed it and ran it with him. I also talked with Nox on the chat server. Dr. Faustus noticed a giant monster team, and we ran with it, getting several monsters which each gave my character at least one badge because she hasn't done many giant monsters, and they all have at least one badge for the first time you get them. I ran a story arc with Dr. Faustus after the giant monster tea broke up. Then we each tried to do a solo mission afterwards. He got it, but I quit twice, and decided to do it later. It was hard, and I really wanted to try salsa dancing again. It was my first time dancing since we fixed my teeth. Between and after exercises I watched videos, played Cross Stitch World, checked City of Heroes: Homecoming, and read an article. Then I wrote a little more of this and made notes to write from the next day. {Smile}
