The night before Saturday, I got to bed particularly late. I determined to avoid this in the future but done is done. Anyway, this led me to take a nap after breakfast. I got up after an hour, but I soon went back to bed to wake up more slowly. I got up again shortly before lunch. {Smile}
After lunch, I watched a video about things to avoid writing into your fiction. One thing mentioned was a lack of closure, which I was afraid my story might have. This concern inspired me to get out my story and try to put an ending on it. One friend had suggested an ending, but it didn't really fit as they wrote it, because they had a different idea of what sequels might be about than I do. So, I wrote an ending that used a few elements of theirs and shared it with the friend in thanks for their help. {Smile}
I got onto my computer pretty quickly after my second rest. I read articles and watched videos on the web over lunch, right until I shifted to writing an ending for my story. I was tired and a bit drained after that, so I set the story aside, and went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I checked the in-game auction house and storage. Then, not seeing anyone to team up with, I paused to start Friday's daily update. I shifted to reading one or more comics on the web when my main nurse brought in a watermelon flavored popsicle in lieu of going out for a popsicle. It occupied a hand too much for playing City of Heroes on Homecoming or doing much regular typing but reading a comic on the web isn't hard to do mostly one-handed. Next, I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I found Pierogis and Kitten, an got their attention. We three teamed up and worked on the low-level story arc right into dinner time, because by the time I was called to dinner we were too far into one of the longest missions in the game. Stopping before the end would be standing up my friends, which I don't do if I can help it. I did stop right after the mission to go to dinner. Pierogis and I agreed we'd do the last mission in the story arc another time. {Smile}
After dinner I watched a video or two on the web, and read a comic on the web, too. I might have read an article on the web as well. Then I wrote up Friday's daily update before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I tried to get kitten's attention, but they didn't respond, so I played by myself until Dr. Faustus said hi. As I was responding to Dr. Faustus, Dragons said hi, too. I teamed up with both of them for a popular long but low-level mission that Dr. Faustus had. It was shorter and lower level than the one before dinner with Kitten and Pierogies. After that mission, Dragons left. Dr. Faustus and I did a few more missions before we parted. I checked the auction house and storage Then I made notes in this, taking breaks to do some in-game storage and crafting and check on my friends in City of Heroes: Homecoming. I said the Lord's Prayer and forward Day by Day not really early, but earlier than the previous night, since Church was to be early the next morning. {Smile}
