Today was physical therapy, so a little after breakfast, I called Uber and had a nice chat with the driver as he took me to Life Care Center. My therapist came in shortly after I did, and we got started. We had a good session, with regular exercises first, and some of the moves I hope to work into my salsa at the end. Then I called Uber again, and a different driver took me home, with more nice chatting. {Smile}
I ate breakfast and dinner with Mom and read to her before dinner. I started with scripture and thoughts about it and continued with more of her niece's long family Christmas letter from 2019. Then, I read a bit from Cotillion by Georgette Heyer. Next, I read two poems, "The Messenger," and "Penguin Parade," both from 365 Animal Stories and Rhymes. I Then I finished up by reading the April 1st story from 366 Stories for Bedtime: A Tale for Every Day of the Year. Mom said she liked it all. but i think she said she didn't like the Georgette Heyer and the poems as much. maybe I need to think more carefully about what I pick. {Smile}
No exercise today, at least not beyond physical therapy. {Smile}
I read comics over lunch, and a bit afterwards. Then I hopped into City of Heroes: Homecoming, and found Kitten obsessed with the April Fools Raids, which she was sure would stop in a few hours. It didn't - I think it's going for the whole weekend at least. We did one, then teamed up in between raids, then we did a pair which were back-to-back. I think that took us to time to read to Mom. I also chatted with a fellow from high school who I connected with on Facebook today. I started writing this around dinnertime. {Smile}
After dinner, I read some comics, then hopped back into City of Heroes: Homecoming. There, I got into a role-playing team with Austin and Jag. They were running missions, but talking in character while they did. It was really fun. They broke up when Austin, who was leading, had to go to bed. A couple didn't leave, and I ended up team lead, so I asked for help with a hunt. Kitten and my RWBY friend joined us, but we didn't finish because another April Fools Raid happened right where we were, so we joined that, and somehow, I ended up organizing the participants. Then another happened in a different zone, and some of us went there. I organized a group, but there might or might not have been a second group. along the way, my RWBY friend left, and afterwards Kitten faded out. Probably fell asleep; it was a good time for them to do so. Two people stayed, wanting to catch another they knew would come eventually. I started writing this while I waited, and also said goodnight to Nox. We missed talking again. Then I started chatting with Phonso and Divi, both of whom were busy elsewhere. This continued into the raid, and past it with Phonso. I also chatted a little more and said goodnight with the fellow from high school, as well as writing most of this. {Smile}
