On Friday after breakfast, my main nurse took me down to Kamana Senior Center, where I found the ballroom dance, cha-cha class. The instructor showed us the most basic step and a couple of different but simple steps, including a moving step and a slowly turning step. Then he left us to practice. A guy came over who was alone. I didn't want to claim him when there were a few other gals, and only one guy, but then he started dancing alone, and clearly needed help. I'm pretty new to cha-cha, unless you count the instruction in high school, from a P.E. teacher who knew sports better than dancing. However, I did a fair bit of partner dancing in my teens and twenties, only stopping when my balance got bad. I also got back to dancing similar things solo since my balance improved again. So, I went over and tried to help him. Then some others helped him too, and he and I both got the hang of three basic steps. Then he found a different gal to dance with, so I practiced a variant we hadn't tried on my own, as well as the three we had done until the end of class. I'm concerned that some of the fancier steps that that the instructor did for more advanced students might be beyond me, but I'll concentrate on what I can do as long as they let me. Afterwards, my main nurse took me home. {Smile}
That was an hour and a half of dancing, and my main exercise. though I did do some mini-Kegels too. {Smile}
In the car to and from cha-cha, I played Cross Stitch World. Then after we got back from cha-cha, I played more Cross Stitch World, as well as browsed on the web right into lunch. I started writing up my daily update during lunch and continued afterwards, with long break to read several web comics. When I finished my daily update, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I started with paperwork. Then I checked my villain supergroup on my moderately low-level villain. No one was there, so I explored the supergroup base until the leader and a gal showed up. Dr. Faustus didn't come because his work needed him. The leader suggested either of a couple of taskforces, but we ended up roleplaying. The gal likes that as much, and I needed some to feel out my moderately high-level villain better. I switched to her after a while on the lower-level one. We roleplayed a good bit more. The leader left first. The other gal and I kept at it until I was called to dinner. {Smile}
After dinner, I played Cross Stitch World and made notes in this before going back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I started with paperwork, then played more Cross Stitch World. Then I made more notes in this. After that, I said hi to Ulty, Jenny's player, and Nik, who was in the game to my surprised. I talked particularly with Nik, both in the game and on Discord. Nox joined us on Discord. I also fought the homeless turning into something alien and the gang studying ancient fighting techniques on my teen supergroup member. Then I joined Ulty, Jenny's Player, and their friends in a few individual missions, each built around a moral theme. When the group split up, I did paperwork. Then I browsed on the web and played Cross Stitch World. I tried to get back into the game and succeeded when Dragons and their friends invited me to a couple of particularly high-level story arcs. Since a few of them had the same ones, they got multiple very nice rewards in a relatively short time. Still, it ran late, so I snuck in notes in this while still playing, then got to bed a bit plate. At least I don't have an early morning the next day. {Smile}
