Even an Oahu version of the legend has her a woman. I met a few researchers who used them, I think, but I don't think they raised them; not like Dad's cousin and her husband did. {SMILE}<br /><br />I liked how they handled their granddaughter, too. As you said, firm and fair, while still loving. {Smile}<br /><br />I also very much liked how they didn't expect the kitties to stay away from the mice.
