On Sunday after breakfast, my main nurse took me to church. We arrived right at the end of the sermon and sat with Auntie Barbara and Michelle. I enjoyed the service. Afterwards, I had lunch on the lanai with Auntie Barbara and the gal who founded our parish's new Daughters of the King chapter. There was a fair bit of dessert, and other stuff, too. {Smile}
After lunch, my main nurse took me to Target. I ran into some gals who were concerned about my cane and asked to pray for me. I was fine with that until they declared my vertigo was gone at the end. That is not how severe, permanent vertigo that's at least partly neurological works. Still, I held my tongue and reminded myself that they meant well. They were just annoyingly clueless. {small smile}
My main nurse and I had a little trouble finding the monitors, but asking a clerk helped. Then we could only find a brand I wasn't looking for. We asked another clerk, who started showing us things, and the second was exactly the monitor I wanted: a 24" Samsung marked down to a little over $100, which is better than Amazon at the moment. We got that, and finished a circuit around the store. So I did get some walking in this weekend. Then we bought the monitor and left. {Smile}
At home, my nurse connected the stand to the panel, then gave it to me. He came by a little later, just as I got the thing working, He was impressed he didn't have to set it up for me. After that, I browsed the web, read a few web comics, and looked over Discord. I tried writing my daily update but didn't get very far. I did say goodnight to Pierogis. Then I treated my blood sugar and felt enough more like myself to ask in a conversation with Kitten, Dennis, and Pierogies (who was still talking) whether I should clean myself up before or after going into City of Heroes: Homecoming. Dennis said to play after, so I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. Then I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming and got together with Dennis. We squeezed in two moderately high-level missions before dinner. They were my missions, but fought enemies Dennis is working on, so helped us both, which we both agreed was particularly nice. {Smile}
After dinner, I browsed on the web and watched videos, though not any videos for any of my classes. Then I made myself finish my daily update before going back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I started with auction house, storage and crafting. I went back out to watch a couple of videos, then got back in in time for Dr. Faustus to invite me to a badge mission he was running with several others, too. It took me longer than usual to find a character who needed it, I eventually I found one. I ran the mission with the team he'd gotten. Then the team dispersed. Dr. Faustus left to restart his computer because of a power failure, so I worked on the auction house, crafting, and storage until Dr. Faustus came back. We picked my lower-level villain supergroup member and her supergroup mate and much of one of her contacts. We fought a bunch of cultists with ghosts, and a spider themed villain group. Then we said goodnight. I did some auction house and storage and made notes in this with breaks for Cross Stitch World and videos. {Smile}
