Daily Update, August 11, 2026

The night before Tuesday, I got to bed several minutes before 2 am. I made my first bedtime goal with a comfortable margin. I'm pretty happy with that. {Smile}

A while before lunch, my relief nurse took me down to Kamana Senior Center for my Creative Writing Class. I got there when just the teacher and a student from the last class was there. I talked with the teacher before class. I'm wondering about some frustration I sense from her. It's pushing me in a direction I wasn't thinking of going yet... but maybe that's just being in a class that's not exactly a match to what I want to write. she wants memoirs. I keep thinking about fiction. Anyway, the class went fairly well. We got a new sound system which did help us hear more people when they contributed. I think we heard our teacher better, too. The lecture went long enough that we skipped the freewriting to give enough time for sharing and getting feedback. only one member of my group had something to share, but it was long enough, it filled our time comfortably. After class, my relief nurse picked me up. We got small cones from Kosmic Cones, and ran another errand on the way home. {Smile}

I had breakfast with my relief nurse, his TV, Forward Day by Day, and _Overgeared 2_, After an otherwise leisurely morning, I went to class. After we got back from class, I went onto my computer. I wrote a little more of Monday's daily update and went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, and went to my teen supergroup meeting on Aneira Lloyds, my highest-level member. Nyxy came in and said hi. Jawsome joined in; he might have been there when I came in, but I didn't spot him if so. Anyway, we roleplayed. Ulty joined us in roleplaying. We roleplayed a little more, then tried to get a taskforce that gets special rewards under certain circumstances this week.  However, it required a story arc no one had done. We decided to do the story arc together. Jenny's player joined at the last moment. Now all the characters who were there can get the taskforce. One did, and we did the taskforce. Afterwards, the group broke up fairly quickly. I checked on my friends who play the game, and worked ont he in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Aneira until dinner. I had spaghetti with my relief nurse, his TV and _Overgeared 2_. {Smile}

After dinner, finished Monday's daily update. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, and found Kitten and Dennis teamed up together. We teamed up with me on Ana Marcelino, my second-best badge collector. I tried to find a mission that gave a badge Ana and settled on a story arc that gave a badge she needed. We three ran it, Next, Dennis left for bed. Kitten showed me a story arc with more talking than usual, and a character they really love. We did the first two mission twice, then the second mission. After that, we talked while I did the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Ana, and updated her badge record. We talked most of the time and continued after I was done. We finally said goodnight, and I closed windows on my computer. Then I wrote in this a while before switching to making notes to write from later. I also took a break to check Cross Stitch World. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 10, 2026

 The night before Monday, I got to bed shortly before 2 am. I met my bedtime goal again. {Smile}

After breakfast, my relief nurse took me down to Kamana Senior center for my Frist Timer's Line Dance class. I arrived early, so I had time to visit with a couple of the other students. I thought the class went well. I did all the dances, including at least part of every "break dance," which is a dance we do when the teacher declares a break, then starts dancing, usually not on the stage he dances on during the official class dances. He also gives less instruction than the regular dances. If you can follow along, you're encouraged to. If you need a break, or can't keep up, you don't have to. After class, my relief nurse took me to the ice cream parlor in Liliu'okalani Gardens. I picked out a chocolate fudge popsicle. the clerk pointed out a new flavor: cookies and cream. I got one and had that on the way home. It was more or less Oreo flavored, which wasn't a surprise. After I got home, my relief nurse put my chocolate fudge popsicle into the freezer for a later date. {Smile}

That afternoon, I had a bunch of phone calls. I called my doctor and left a message on their answering machine letting them know that infection I'd told them about is getting better more slowly than we'd hoped. Then I left a message on my financial adviser's machine asking to talk to her. She called back later, and we had a nice talk about things we each need to work on. I hope I'm finally ready to actually work on things. {Smile}

I also called my cousin Kim, and we had a nice long talk. We caught up with each other and her pets. She even suggested seeing what someone she knows thinks of my writing. I sent her a copy of the story I'd been working on earlier this year and last year in my class. I realized I can keep more than I feared if I keep the original audience mix, even if I add a segment. This has renewed my interest in working on it. I lost interest when I thought I had to throw out the middle for a different audience, but embellishing it is okay. {Smile}

After I got back home from class, I had lunch with my relief nurse, his TV, FDBD and _Overgeared 2_. Then I went onto my computer. I read articles and webcomics and watched videos. Then I did the phone calls. I watched more videos and read more webcomics before I wrote up Sunday's daily update. I broke from that when I was called for dinner. I ate with my relief nurse. his TV, and _Overgeared 2_, carefully turning pages with a finger that I kept clean despite the tacos I was eating. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer and finished Sunday's daily update. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I found Kitten and Dennis still playing, so I got Valentine Matos, a still-developing endgame character, and teamed up with them. We did one mission of mine, and a few missions of Dennis's, since I didn't remember to renew my missions until later. Then Dennis left for bed. Kitten said they were tired, then went quiet, eventually fading out. So, I worked on the auction house and storage on Valentina. Next, I took a break to read a bit of a story on Amazon. I eventually stopped before I was finished, because I had a few more ideas for freewriting. I sent it to my teacher for this week. After that, I went to Discord, and wrote to Dr. Faustus, apologizing for not being on when I usually am, and too late to team up. However, they thought we could team up to do the next mission for Topaz Proudfoot and her friends. We did, though we skipped some parts that folks usually do. I got a badge and finished the story arc we'd started the previous night. Then we said goodnight. I fixed up Topaz's storage and trained her for another level. Next, I closed windows on my computer and wrote a fair bit in this before switching to making notes to write from later. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 9, 2026

The night before Sunday, I got to bed a few minutes before 2 am. I still got up at 1:45 am to try to get to church a bit earlier, so I didn't get seven hours of down time, but I fixed that with a nap a while after I got home from church. {Smile}

After breakfast, my main nurse took me down to church. I arrived during the processional, the very first hymn. It is just after the announcements, so I was late, but not very. I sat with Auntie Barbara. We enjoyed the service. For lunch after the service, I sat with her and a couple of other parishioners. I mostly listened to them talk. Afterwards, my main nurse took me home. I drowsed both on the way down and on the way back. {Smile}

After I got back, I talked with my housekeeper, who'd come with her husband. I went onto my computer to share Dad's recipes with her over two emails, since the first didn't seem to work. Then, after a nap, I made sure she'd gotten Dad's recipes; the second email worked. I must say the house is better for her attentions, and her husband's help with the laundry. {Smile}

I had breakfast with my main nurse and his TV. After my nap after I got back home from church, I got back onto my computer. I read comics and watched videos. Then I wrote up Saturday's daily update before I with into City of Heroes: Homecoming late. I found Dennis. We chatted and teamed up. We worked on a mission which he wanted to farm, not finish. I left for dinner with my main nurse, his TV, Forward Day by Day, and _Overgeared 2_. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I read comics and watched videos. Then I talked with Nox on Discord. I said goodnight to Dennis by Discord, since he had to leave because it was late. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I said hi to Dr Faustus and got out Topaz Proudfoot. I fooled around while he finished a taskforce or something similar. Next, we teamed up. We finished the story arc we'd started and did most of the sequel story arc... or at least half of it. We stopped right before the big finale, which might take half the time this usually takes. After that we said goodnight. I did some storage on Topaz, and costuming on a version of her that I don't need as her, turning her into an elf. I usually don't care for elves, but it fit with a power of hers better than my more usual gnomes, dwarves, and halflings. Then I took a break before shutting down windows. Next, I wrote in this, swiftly changing to making notes in this. I checked Cross Stitch World, too, before I said the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King to finish my evening. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 8, 2026

The night before Saturday, I got to bed a few minutes after 2 am again. I thought I was running earlier, but somehow not. {small smile}

I had breakfast with my main nurse, his TV, and forward Day by Day. After breakfast, I went onto my computer. I read articles and comics and watched videos through lunch and well into the afternoon. I did take a break to play a character on the new account who I made to give the account her name. I finally got her out of the tutorial, and up a few levels. I even got her some boosts to help her for a while. Then I got into reading a story sample on Amazon that kept me reading, fascinated, but was too expensive to buy so I could continue. After the story, I wrote up Friday's daily update, finishing right at dinner time. I had dinner with my main nurse, his TV, and _Overgeared 2_.

After dinner, I went back to my computer and into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I also talked with Nox on Discord. Then I checked on my friends in City of Heroes: Homecoming again. I started to play Topaz Proudfoot. I got back to the story arc she'd started the other night. I got invited to another story arc someone was doing while I was doing the last mission. I finished my mission and story arc and joined them. Dr. Faustus said hi during the first mission, which went fine. I asked them to join us. The leader added them after a mission that went pretty well. The next two missions were much harder; hard enough for Dr. Faustus to leave in disgust afterwards. Or they would have if the group hadn't broken up before they could. I already meant to join them, so the quick dispersal worked for me. We did some of my missions, finishing the less connected stuff I wanted Topaz to do, and starting a story arc that we both enjoy. We also did one mission to start another contact. Next, we said goodnight. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Topaz. I checked the character I'd played earlier. After that, I free-wrote at length for my class. Then I did a tiny bit of writing in this before I switched to making notes for most of it. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 7, 2026

The night before Friday, I got to bed just a couple minutes after 2am. I missed even my first bedtime goal, but not by much. I know I need to try harder. {smile}

After breakfast, my main nurse took me down to Kamana Senior Center for my Ballroom Dance: Mambo class. I played Criss Stitch World on the way down. Class went well. I think I have all but one step down even when dancing by myself. I'm still working on the hammerlock. I first did it when I was six or seven, and really practiced it through most of my teens, but it depends on the arms so much, it's hard to keep track of the foot moves without a partner. I plan to keep at it. I eventually figured out how to shadow a crossbody lead, another step where the arms are important and it's really hard to keep track of the feet without a partner. After class, my main nurse took me back home. I played Cross Stitch World on the way home. {Smile}

After I got back from class, I confirmed that my main nurse had returned the overdue library book with a hold on it. Then I got onto my computer. I read articles and watched videos through lunch and into the afternoon. I also wrote some of Thursday's daily update before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and went to the villain supergroup meeting. Seb was already there, so we started roleplaying. Dr. Faustus joined us, and our most regular new member. We continued roleplaying, and visited out-of-character, too. The leader joined us, as did Anya at the last moment. We ran a strike force together, chatting both in-character and out-of-character along the way. Next, the group broke up. I worked on the beginning-of-the-weekend auction house on a few characters. After that, I ran that story arc I'd done on Ana the other night two more times, getting four more badges. I did some crafting on her and auction house and storage on Olivia Ragnarson, then set Ana to working passively on a badge while I had dinner with my main nurse, his TV, and forward Day by Day. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer and City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked the in-game auction house on a few characters. Michiel said hi, and asked to join me. I picked a story arc on Aneira, my higher-level teen supergroup member, and we did the first mission together. Then he said goodnight and left. Next, Dennis said hi on Discord. We teamed up and did a mission of his. We did two in the story arc I'd started with Michiel next, but the second glitched, I think. I found out later that we missed the only battle in it. So, Dennis called it boring, and we ran one of his before we said goodnight and he left. I checked Cross Stitch World, and my friends who play City of Heroes on Homecoming. After that, I got Topaz Proudfoot and did a hunt. Then I started a story arc on her. Next, I worked on the in-game storage on her, Aneira, Ana, and Olivia, and updated Ana's badge record. After that, I did a little shopping on Amazon before I wrote a little in this and made many notes in this. I took a break in writing notes to shop a little more on Amazon. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 6, 2026

 The night before Thursday, I got to bed just a few minutes before 2 am. i made my first bedtime goal. {Smile}

In the afternoon, well after lunch, my main nurse took me down to the Hilo branch of Hawai'i Public Library. I read _Overgeared 1_ on the way down. I returned _Wonder Cat Kyuuchan 5_. then found a place to sit and finished _Overgeared 1_. Then I picked out a few books and figured out which I actually wanted to take home. I returned the others to a cart and went to check out my picks. They informed me that two books were overdue. However, one could be renewed, and they did so before I quite asked. The other, though has a hold on it, so it can't be renewed. I asked which one it was. They said _Frieren: Journey's End_. I asked again which one it was, and they repeated _Frieren: Journey's End_. I explained that I have three volumes by that title, so I need to know more than the series. They said number 3, and I promised to bring it soon. then I sat and read _Fairy Cat 1_ until my main nurse came and got me. I was over halfway through and read more on the way home. When I got home, I found the three Frieren books and gave both manga - 2 and 3 - to my main nurse to return while I'm at class. I kept the light novel for now. {Smile}

After breakfast, I got onto my computer. I watched videos and read comics and a few articles. I did take a break to check the auction house for Topaz Proudfoot but otherwise continued right through lunch. In the afternoon, I started writing up the rest of Wednesday's daily update. I stopped for our trip out. When I got back, I finished writing up Wednesday's daily update. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and said hi to Dennis and Kitten. Dennis responded, inviting me to the team he had going with Kitten. I got Serena Bianchi, who's working on the badge at least Dennis was working on, I had her using a hero name, but Kitten had the same bad association that Dennis did a while back. I really need to find a better name. We ran a mission before Kitten left for the late long, large-group event. Then Dennis and I did one more mission that ended right as I was called to dinner. I ate with my main nurse, his TV, _Fairy Cat 1_, which I actually finished, and _Overgeared 2_, which I barely started. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer to shop on Amazon before I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. Then I went back to my computer again. I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game. I found Kitten in an extra tough zone on a full team. I got out Ana Marcelino, my second-best badge collector, and joined them when a spot opened up. We ran a couple of missions before the team broke up. Next, I talked with Kitten, and we ran four more missions, getting both of us a badge we both didn't have. After that, we hunted "pinatas", finding the two I still needed for another badge. We ran a story arc, getting her three more badges, but Kitten went quiet before the last mission started. I waited, but eventually ran it without them, and got the three badges. Then I took a break, checking Cross Stitch World among other things, hoping Kitten would come back. They faded out instead. So, I ran it again for two more badges. It was too late to continue, so I left two more runs and four more badges for another day. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting Ana had accumulated. I also updated Ana's badge record; she got nine badges that day, I think. I did a little storage on Olivia Ragnarson, too. Next, I played a little Cross Stitch World as part of a break. After that I wrote in this, switching to making notes to finish. I closed windows in the middle of taking notes. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 5, 2026

The night before Wednesday, I got to bed just after 2 am. I missed my first bedtime goal, but not by much. {small smile}

After dinner, my main nurse took me down to the Church of the Holy Cross for my Ballroom Dance classes. I played Cross Stitch World on the way down, despite a low phone battery. I arrived a bit early, and settled in. That included plugging in my phone to charge during class. Then our main Nightclub Twostep teacher asked to dance it with me. We reviewed the known moves and tried a few new once. I thought I did pretty well. I also thought I did even better when we covered them in class, so I knew what to expect. That went pretty well. So did cha-cha, though we were slowing down as the evening failed to cool down as quickly as dancing heated us up. My main nurse took me back home. I drank the water I hadn't gotten to during class, then played Cross Stich World the rest of the way. {Smile}

After breakfast, I got onto my computer I read comics and a couple of articles and watched some videos. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming to check their auction house on Topaz Proudfoot. Next, I wrote up Tuesdays' daily update over and after lunch, with breaks to look at comics. This went into the afternoon, but I did get back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I said hi to Kitten, but they disappeared. I also said hi to Jenny's player and got one of her accounts connected to my new account. After that, I checked and worked with the auction house on Topaz Proudfoot. I tried to find something for Ana to get badges, but what I found was that Kitten was back, and somewhat responsive. We joined a trial they were interested in, with me on Frederica Fernandes, my ninth-ranked badge collector, the first I found who didn't have all the badges. She got all three badges from this trial in one run. Then I switched back to Ana. Kitten helped me get two more badges on her. Somewhere in there, I got Jenny's Player's other account connected to my new account. After getting the badges with Kitten, I had dinner with my main nurse and his TV before we headed out to my classes. {Smile}

When I got back, I got back onto my computer and into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I said hi to Dr. Faustus. We talked a little, but they were busy with a taskforce. So, I checked the auction house on Topaz Proudfoot. Then I checked what she could do next, and got the appealing stuff started. Dr. Faustus got free, and we teamed up, and did several of Topaz's missions. Next, we said goodnight. I worked on the in-game auction house and storage on Topaz, then updated Ana's badge record. After that, I checked Cross Stitch World and closed windows on my computer before I wrote in this, quickly switching to making notes to write from later. All while still chatting with Dr. Faustus intermittently. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 4, 2026

The night before Tuesday, I got to bed barely before 2 am. I met my first bedtime goal, if not by much. That's good as far as it goes. {Smile}

After breakfast, my relief nurse took me to Kamana Senior Center for my Creative Writing Class. I played Cross Stitch World and talked with my relief nurse on the way down. I was surprised to find that I was the first one there, but I got to talk with our teacher at some length before class. I ate lunch during class, which I enjoyed. I felt useful critiquing my fellow students writing. I'd taken some writing, but only about still trying to break writer's block, so I didn't' share it. After class, my relief nurse took me home. I played Cross Stitch World and talked with my relief nurse on the way. {Smile}

I had breakfast with my relief nurse, his TV, and Forward Day by Day. Then I emailed my work of the week to my teacher before I went to class. After class I got onto my computer. I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game. I found Pierogies on all three of his accounts. I showed him Topaz Proudfoot on my new account. We got all his accounts connected with my new one. I also went to my teen supergroup meeting on Aneira. Veronica was already there with Nyxy's Pella. Jawsome came just after me. I brought in Topaz Proudfoot to show the, and we got Nyxy and Jawsome connected to my new account. I also talked to Ulty, though she didn't come to the meeting. We got her other connected to my new account, too. Veronice, Pella, Jawsome, and my Aneira and Topaz roleplayed a bit. Veronica suggested a taskforce when we realized Ulty wasn't coming. I sent Topaz home, and I ran it on Aneira with the others, with light roleplaying and out-of-character visiting, Afterwards, we roleplayed a bit in our base before the meeting broke up. I worked on the in-game auction house and storage on Aneira, finishing up in time for dinner with my relief nurse, his TV, and _Overgeared 1_. I'm really enjoying that manhwa (Korean comic book). It's a lot like some of the web comics I follow, including being manhwa. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I wrote up rest of Monday's daily update, with more blood sugar trouble and web comic reading than I like, but reading web comics is easier than writing while I'm coping with blood sugar trouble. When I was done with my update, I finally went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Dr. Faustus said hi. We ran three connected story arcs my Topaz could get, running quite late for us, but did finish them all. Then I worked on the in-game auction house and storage on Topaz. Next, I checked and played a little Cross Stitch World. I closed windows and wrote tiny bit in this before making many notes in this to write from the next day. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 3, 2026

The night before Monday, I got to be shortly after 2 am. It's harder to get to bed early the night before Monday because I have an extra medication to administer. However, that just means I need to try even harder. {smile}

After breakfast, my relief nurse took me down to Aunti Sally's Lua'u Hale for my First Timer's Line Dance class. I arrived early and watched a dance or two before class. I also checked the signup and signed up for Monday's class next session. They had two lists, for Monday, and Wednesday, and only one had picked Wednesday. I didn't. I don't think I could do that and my evening ballroom dancing the same day, and I'd rather do the ballroom dancing. I love interacting with a partner. I figure most folks will keep coming on Monday because it fits their schedule They can get into the next session easily once they're in, though you can get into either of them easily now, since Wednesday is new. However, that's either, not both. Anyway, class went well. I did every regular dance and got at least part of all but two break dances, not counting the two before class. After class, my relief nurse came and took me home. I talked with my relief nurse and played Cross Stitch World both on the way, and on the way back.

At home, I had lunch with my main nurse, his TV, forward Day by Day, and the rest of _Wonder Cat Kyuuchan 5_, despite having to run well past lunch to finish. I did enjoy that book. Then I went to my computer. I read a few articles and some comics but mostly watched videos. Next, I wrote up some of Sunday's daily update right before dinner. I had dinner with my relief nurse, his TV, and the beginning of the manga _Overgeared 1_. After dinner, I went back to my computer. I finished writing Sunday's daily update. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, and said hi to Ulty, Veronica/Anya, and Seb. I got one of Ulty's accounts, and Veronica/Anya's only account connected to my new account. After that, Dr. Faustus said hi. I got two more of their accounts connected to my new account. Then we played with me on Topaz Proudfoot, my new Hobbit. We finished all the content she needs to be not higher than five for and talked a fair bit about a game they've got me considering trying. I picked up the next contact and set her to go up a couple of levels. I worked on her storage while I continued talking with Dr. Faustus about the other game. Eventually, we said goodnight. I checked and played a tiny bit of Cross Stitch World, then wrote a little in this, soon switching to making notes to write from later. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {smile}

Daily Update, August 2, 2026

The night before Sunday, I got to bed a bit before 2 am. So, I did make my first bedtime goal. I got up at 8:45 am because church starts at ten, so I didn't get quite 7 hours of being sleep ready, but it could have been worse. {Smile}

after breakfast, main nurse took me down to church. I arrived just as the announcements were starting. Auntie Barbra was still at the greeting table, and another parishioner was still helping with car doors. They congratulated me on getting there on time. {Smile}

I sat with Peg, and auntie Barbara sat right in front of me. I enjoyed the service. For lunch I sat with Auntie Barbara. My cousin Babs was nearby; with her granddaughter and two friends they've really hit it off with. I asked if she'd liked the books I'd given her, and she loves them, which is wonderful to hear. after lunch, my main nurse took me back home. {Smile}

When I got home from church, I went onto my computer. I mostly watched videos and read comics. I also checked out a few articles. After a while, I remembered to call my cousin, Kim, and did so. We had a nice talk. Then I wrote up Saturday's daily update. I also did a bit of freewriting for my writing class. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I got together with Kitten, Dennis, and Pierogies, choosing to play Ana Marcelino, who is now my second-best badge collector. We had Pierogies choose the content, since he's on less often these days. We ran the first part of a Roman themed story arc until Pierogies left; he can sit only so long these days, which is why he's on so much less. The three left ran one more mission. After that, Kitten left to join the late-night short, large group event. Dennis and I talked, then said goodnight. Kitten came back after the late-night short, large group event, but just in time to say hi-bye before I left for dinner, which I had with my main nurse, his TV, and Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

After dinner, I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. I went back to my computer and drowsed until I treated my blood sugar. Then I did more freewriting for my creative writing class. I printed out the freewriting for class, figuring out why I couldn't get it to print the previous week. Next, I went back to my computer and into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I found Kitten unresponsive right where I left them. But Dr. Faustus said hi. We teamed up, with me on Peony. She has been my younger Hobbit, but I've made a second hobbit who's about the same age. We ran a story arc they'd made to show how Peony brought Topaz, my other young Hobbit, to the world of City of Heroes. It was hard for Peony and Dr. Faustus's character at first. Dr. Faustus suggested lowering the difficulty, but it was as low as it could go. When I told them this, I realized - and mentioned - that it might be so hard because we were mid-level and moderately low-level, kicked up to do high-level content. That improves what we can currently do but doesn't give us powers we'll learn later. They brought in a tough, high-level character of theirs. Things went much better after that. They can play more than one at a time. I don't know how to have them both contribute meaningfully to a battle at the same time, like Dr. Faustus, Kitten, Pierogies, and others can. Anyway, things went much better after that. After the story arc, we roleplayed introducing Topaz, my newest Hobbit, to one of Dr. Faustus's characters that she hadn't met. They showed her a bit of the game's world before we said goodnight. Then I did some auction house and storage on Peony, and auction house, storage and crafting on Ana. Next, I checked and played Cross Stitch World before I wrote in this. I switched to making notes in this to write from later. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, August 1, 2026

The night before Saturday, I got to bed several minutes after 2 am. I think that failure was because I didn't shut down, even leaving CCity of Heroes: Homecoming on to work on a badge on Ana in the background while I worked on this. I ended up talking to Kitten, and I'm sure that's part of why I got to bed so late. I seemed to manage without a nap, though I was sluggish before lunchtime. I tried treating blood sugar with inconclusive results. {smile}

I had breakfast with my main nurse and Forward Day by Day. We didn't watch TV during most of it because the cable was out until I was just finishing up. I don't count the last couple of minutes alone as TV with my meal. Then I went onto my computer. I read Comics and articles and watched videos right through the sluggishness that didn't respond well to treatment, and into lunch. By the end of lunch, I'd mostly lost the sluggishness, making me wonder if it was hunger. I continued watching videos and reading comics and articles into the afternoon, along with a little research into living options on the web. Eventually I wrote up Friday's daily update. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I talked with Kitten and got them to help me work on badges for Ana Marcelino. We got four badges for Kitten, but none for Ana before Kitten left to join the late-night short, large-group event. I switched to Eirlyss Lloyds and ran it with them. Next, I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on her until I got called to dinner. I ate with my main nurse, his TV, and _Wonder Cat Kyuuchan 5_.

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I chatted with Nox on Discord and responded to Kitten there. too. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I found Kitten still active. We teamed up and worked on badges for Ana Marcallio, getting three for both Ana and Kitten. Then we switched to another part of the game, where we worked on a couple of different types of badges. We got two of one kind for Kitten, then ten of a different kind for each of us. Next, we got the two Kitten got earlier for Ana, and two more similar but more intensive ones for Kitten. After that, I had to break to get ready for bed before I could get them for Ana because I ran out of time. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Ana. then updated her badge record. Then I began writing in this. I paused to check Cross Stitch World and play a little of it. Next, I wrote a little more in this and started some freewriting for my writing class. After that, I closed down several windows to help myself concentrate on making notes in this. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King.

Daily Update, July 31, 2026

The night before Friday, I got to bed several minutes before 2 am. I made my first bedtime goal again. Maybe this is really beginning to work. I can hope. {Smile}

After breakfast, my main nurse took me down to Kamana Senior Center for my Ballroom Dance Mambo class. However, my teacher started the class with teaching the styling differences between salsa and mambo, especially hand moves that are important in salsa, and not even there in mamo. I guess I was learning Mambo at home, because I never did get the arm moves down. I occasionally watched a video about them, but they weren't that easy to add, and they didn't seem that important, somehow. However, they looked both easier and more important when my teacher did them. So, I tried them when I was on my own. i have them for the first few steps, but then they get complicated enough, I can't keep them up. I also learned a move that's more for solo. I did dance with a couple of guys, and one gal a few times. I think her husband doesn't dance, possibly because of a disability. We ran up to the end of class, though not many danced towards the end. My main nurse brought me back home on the way. I played Cross Stitch World both on the way down and on the back. {Smile}

I had breakfast with main nurse and his TV. I didn't read anything so I could eat quickly and get ready for class. I still felt like I was arriving at the last minute, but they hadn't started yet. After I got back from class, I went onto my computer. I watched videos right through lunch and into the afternoon. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I worked on the beginning of the week in-game auction house on the few characters. Next, I got ranged Olga and got the first mission of a story arc before I went to my villain supergroup meeting. Dr. Faustus and Patience were already there. We roleplayed a bit. Anya and another player came soon. With only five of use, and none of mine high enough level to get the good rewards this week, they chose to help me do the story arc I'd just gotten the first mission of. There was a lot of talk-missions... fun for me, but not sure about the others. Though we accidentally started with the first mission of another story arc. After the we properly started the right story arc. Dr. Faustus left when work called them away, but the rest stuck with me and finished the arc. We did a little roleplaying and a lot of visiting afterwards, but we eventually broke up. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on ranged Olga. Then I checked the characters who'd put stuff up earlier and found some had sold. I had dinner with my main nurse, his TV, and Forward Day by Day, which was hard to concentrate on, so I read it again after dinner.

After dinner, I went back to my computer and into City of Heroes Homecoming again. I found Dennis, and we connected his account with my new account that Dr. Faustus set up. We talked and teamed up for two missions that helped both of us with badges that will improve our characters before he said goodnight. I worked on the in-game auction house and storage on my character. Then I switched to my new account and Topaz Proudfoot, the hobbit I made there. I ran a few missions and got the mission that I needed to not be higher than her current level for. I did it, and ran a couple more missions, gaining a level. I stopped her from gaining more levels and did a few more missions before I stopped for the evening. Next, I worked on storage on Topaz. She's still too low-level for much more. Next, I wrote in this, breaking to check Cross Stitch World before finished writing and switched to making notes in this. I talked with Kitten, and we got their accounts connected with my new account, which led to finishing making notes in this late. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, July 30, 2026

The night before Thursday, I got to bed a few minutes before 2 am. So I met my first bedtime goal! I know I consecrated on getting ready for bed and didn't let myself get sidetracked as much. I was only a little sidetracked this time. {Smile}

A while after lunch, I turned on my laptop, called up my email on it, and signed in for my counselling appointment. I warned her that I would have to leave promptly, even though signing in made me start a few minutes late. I had an appointment with my nutritionist just after this. We got right to the important stuff and worked pretty steadily. I was quite happy with how productive this was. Near the end, we scheduled our next appointment, not for next week, when a dentist appointment apparently conflicts, but the week after, when a dental appointment is enough later not to be a problem. I really need to look into two spaced so closely; maybe one has been cancelled. {Smile}

After the counselling, I tried to sign in for my appointment with my nutritionist, but I couldn't find the email for the link. I checked my phone and found a text saying she needed to reschedule. I misunderstood at first, but got it straightened out. However, I haven't heard back about when a new appointment might be. I'll have to keep an eye on that. {Smile}

In the afternoon, my main nurse and I went out. He dropped me at the Hilo branch of the public library, returning the stack of books set up to return, and left to run errands. I started browsing Manga and other books. I picked out a few, until I heard an announcement that the library was closing in half an hour, and it was a good time to check stuff out. I did check out what I picked out. Then I texted my main nurse about the closure. I figured he'd probably get back before they closed anyway, but that would be even more likely if I texted. I started reading _Wonder Cat Kyuuchan 5_, one of the manga I got, while I waited. I was a fair way in when my nurse picked me up. I read more on the way home. {Smile}

My counselor never did call. I'll have to call them if they don't call soon. {Smile}

I had breakfast with my main nurse, his TV, and Forward Day by Day. After breakfast, I got onto my computer and watched a few videos before I turned on my laptop and had my counselling appointment. After the appointment, I watched a few videos while I was confused about rescheduling my nutritionist appointment, and more after I straightened it out. Then I read a few comics before I went to the library. When we got back, I went back onto my computer and finished Wednesday's daily update. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, and tried to find something to do, but didn't find much before dinner. I had dinner with my main nurse, his TV, and _Wonder Cat Kyuuchan 5_. {Smile}

After dinner, I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. Then I went back onto my computer and into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I got Ana and ran a mission for badges that I set wrong, so it was really hard. I did get three badges at the end. As I finished, I realized that Dennis had said hi a couple of times. I was so focused on playing, I didn't notice when he did. I responded, and joined him in an invasion event, where we fight off the invaders. After that, I switched to Marigold Banks, and we did a badge mission he had that also got progress for both of us on a badge we're working on. Dennis and I said goodnight, and I went back to doing badge missions with Ana but only got three more badges when I expected six. I checked the wiki for the game, which suggested it might be the game's rules causing three badges not to award. I watched several videos while I came to terms with that. Next, I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming, and tried again, with a different badge. I got it and another, but the one I kept trying might not be a badge. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage, and crafting on Ana, and updated her badge record. Then I worked on the in-game auction house and storage on Olivia Ragnarson. Next, I began writing in this. I paused to check Cross Stitch world, then continued writing before I began to make notes. I wrote a bit more before I finished the notes. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, July 29, 2026

The night before Wednesday, despite renewed interest in getting to bed earlier, I only managed to get to bed a few minutes after 2 am. I was doing fine until I checked _Tailored Realities_ by Brandon Sanderson. I got swept up by one of the stories, and it ate my margin and a bit more time, too. {rueful smile}

I called my financial Adviser's office and got the secretary on the first try. I told her about what she could help me with and arranged a call from my adviser tomorrow, I hope. {Smile}

After dinner, my main nurse took me down to the Church of the Holy Cross for my ballroom dance classes. When I got there, I realized it was our "free dance night," The middle night of the class, when we socialize, and just dance, rather than have lessons and practice with prescribed steps. It was great fun, I danced with several partners, as well as alone when had no partner. However, it's been hot this week, and this evening was no exception to that. I think that's why some folks lost steam in the second hour, and some began to leave. The more dedicated dancers kept at it for a while, but then they started to fold up. I texted my main nurse a couple of times, letting him know it was closing early. A few asked about my ride, and I explained that I'd texted Steve. A couple of the guys made a point to wait with me until Steve came, not that it was long. I was very happy they did. It's not a bad neighborhood, but it's pretty deserted as the night gets later. My main nurse soon came and took me home, surprised they'd stopped early, since they usually don't. {Smile}

I had breakfast with my main nurse, his TV, and forward Day by Day. After breakfast, I went onto my computer. I read a few web comics and wrote up Tuesday's daily update before lunch. I read more web comics through lunch. Then I made my phone call with financial adviser's office. I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming earlier than usual. I checked on my friends who play the game and let folks know on Discord that I was in the game. Then I began working on badges for Ana. I started running missions that could get 2+ badges for each mission the way I did them. I got so many, she significantly passed Carrie, my second-best badge collector - I'd gotten pretty close, working on Ana's badge for at least a few weeks. So now Ana is my second-best badge collector, and Carrie is my third-best badge collector, though they're still a bit close to feel their places are secure. I ran one mission that got only one badge at the end, because it was nearing dinner, and this was quick. Then I chatted with Nox on Discord.  I updated Ana's badge record, and told Kitten, Pierogies, Dennis and Shepherd on Discord about Ana's badge collecting success. Then I had dinner was with my main nurse and his TV. I didn't read anything so I wouldn't be late to my dance classes. After dinner, we went to my classes. {Smile}

After we got back, I went back to my computer. I checked Discord, and told Nox, Radio, and Haiden about Ana's badge collecting success. I also said goodnight to Nox and responded to Dennis and Kitten. Then I read a few comics before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Next, I ran a story arc that got three more badges for Ana. Near the end, I said hi to Ulty, DV and another friend. I chatted with DV and my other friend while I updated Ana's badge record again and did auction house, storage, and crafting on Ana, too. Next, I began writing in this before a break that included checking and playing Cross Stitch World and closing windows. After that, I wrote more in this, then switched to making notes. I took short breaks to check things, including Amazon before I finished the notes in this. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, July 28, 2026

The night before Tuesday, I got to bed a few minutes after 2 am. I missed my first bedtime goal again, but a talk I had today has renewed my determination to actually start meeting them again. {Smile}

Before breakfast, I tried to print out a few paragraphs I'd written over the weekend. The printer flatly refused to communicate with my phone. It insisted "printer unavailable when I tried to print... several times in a row. So, after breakfast, I got onto my computer and emailed the paragraphs to my teacher. with an explanatory note, including that I couldn't print it out, but it wasn't a piece that students can really respond to anyway. My teacher mentioned it and a reply she'd already sent when I got to class. I checked it just now, and it looks quite helpful. I marked it as best I could. {Smile}

After emailing my teacher, my relief nurse took me down to my Creative Writing Class. I got there a bit early so my relief nurse could make an appointment of his own, but not so early I had to wait long before I could go in. That's when I talked with my teacher about the email I'd sent. The class went well. I found the lecture illuminating, and was able to help a couple of students when they read what they'd written, after class, my relief nurse took me back home

I had breakfast with my relief nurse and his TV, and Forward Day by Day. I had lunch in class. After we got back, I got onto my computer. I read web comics and squeezed in a little writing of Monday's daily update. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I checked my characters. I moved Olivia Ragnarson to work on a badge. Then I got onto Aneira and went to her teen supergroup meeting. I found Ulty and Jawsome already roleplaying in the break room and joined them. I said hi to Veronica privately, shortly before she joined us. I think Ulty thought another member would come, but apparently not. A friend of Veronica's did come. We started a low-level taskforce when she arrived. We picking it because Veronica had a new version of her character who was just barely high enough level for that taskforce. We ran it with just the five us so we could roleplay and did fine. Veronica got several levels. Afterwards, we adjourned to the supergroup base and roleplayed a bit until our group broke up. I also squeezed in more writing of Monday's daily update. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Aneira. I was just finishing up when Dr. Faustus said hi. We teamed up with me on Seameownt for the first mission in a new story arc. After that mission, I broke for dinner with my relief nurse, his TV, a review of Forward Day by Day, and the beginning of "Firstborn" in _Tailored Realities_ by Brandon Sanderson. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer and into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I found Dr. Faustus, and we completed the story arc... twice, since the last mission only counted for the holder, because you made a decision. We made different decisions, getting two badges each. Then I quickly finished Monday's daily update. Next, Dr. Faustus and I did another story arc before we said goodnight, though it was early for us. I worked on Seameownt's in-game auction house, storage, and crafting. After that, I checked Aneira and Ana to make sure I'd gotten their stuff done. I had. I also moved Olivia Ragnarson for badge work again. Then I worked on a list I'd started a while back. I took a break before I wrote in this. I closed windows and checked Cross Stitch World before I made notes in this. I took a break during the notes to check _Tailored Realities_ by Brandon Sanderson and got caught up in the story I'd started at dinner. However, I slowly recognized that I've read it, so, I moved bookmark. Next, I finished my notes. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, July 27, 2026

The night before Monday, I got to bed right at 2 am. I think it was after, but maybe by less than a minute. I still need to work on meeting at least one goal, but if I have to miss them all, this is a good miss. {Smile}

After breakfast, my relief nurse took me down to Auntie Sally's Luau Hale for my First Timer's Line Dance Class. I walked in on an announcement that they're starting a new class on Wednesday which will be their first Timer's Line Dance Class, while ours will change to Absolute Beginner's Line Dance Class. I'll have to tell a friend at church who switched to another Wednesday class. She seems to like it, but hey, let her know to watch for a choice. The class went well. I danced at least most of every dance, even the "break dances, which are sketchily taught during the break, as opposed to more thoroughly taught during the regular parts of the class. After class, my relief nurse took me straight home. {Smile}

I had breakfast with my relief nurse and his TV before he took me to class. After he brought me back, I had lunch with my relief nurse, his TV Forward Day by Day, and "Probability of Approaching Zero" in _Tailored Realities_. It was so short, I finished it, and tried to start the next story, "Defending Elysium," but my mind really wanted to sit with "Probability Approaching Zero." Maybe I could have started a manga or a different-enough book by another author, but another story by the same author wanted to be more separate, somehow. After lunch, I went onto my computer. I read many web comics and watched several videos before I got around to writing up my daily update. I got into City of Heroes: Homecoming so late, I only had time to check friends before dinner. That was tacos with my relief nurse and his TV. I decided against trying to read a book because my relief nurse's tacos don't leave hands clean enough to turn pages. {Smile}

I rushed back to my computer and City of Heroes: Homecoming because I'd seen Dennis and Kitten before dinner. I checked on my friends who play the game. I saw both Dennis and Kitten and said hi to both. I talked with Dennis. We did one mission he had which got my character closer to a badge. Then we said goodnight. I switched to Ana, and joined the league Kitten was in. I tried to say hi to Kitten a few times, but Kitten didn't respond. I suspect they were both concentrating on the game, and a bit tired to think of a response. The league broke up soon after, but some folks stayed long enough to help me get two badges on Ana while getting them for themselves. Next, we visited while I did some auction house storage and crafting on her. That lasted until Dr. Faustus said hi. They told me what they wanted to work on. I switched to Seameownt, who was just before something they wanted to do. They got a character who needed a little more yet. We teamed up and ran two story arcs, starting with one Seamownt was partway through. We finished that one and started another Seameownt was also partway through. They switched characters after a mission, and we finished my second story arc. After that, we said goodnight. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Seameownt. Then I updated Ana's badge record. I wrote a little in this, then broke to check Cross Stitch World. I wrote more in this before switching to making notes to write from later. I closed windows and checked Amazon before I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, July 26, 2026

The night before Sunday, I got to bed not many minutes after 2 am. I did miss my first bedtime goal, but less than the previous night. I got up at 8:45 am because church starts at ten. After I got back, I took an hour-long nap to compensate for the shorter sleep. {Smile}

After breakfast, my main nurse took me down to church. I drowsed on way. We arrived near the end of the announcements. I sat with main nurse and enjoyed the service. I spotted Babs and her granddaughter, so I sat with them for lunch. which included an unusually large selection of dessert muffins when I went back for dessert. Then my main nurse took me back home. I enjoyed the scenery and chatting with my nurse on the way home. {Smile}

I had breakfast with my main nurse and his TV. When I got back from church, I had a nap. After the nap, I went onto my computer. I read web comics and watched videos. Then I wrote up Saturday's daily update before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and went back to reading web comics. Next, I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game again. I started a mission on Ana but pulled her out while I went to dinner with main nurse, his TV, Forward Day by Day, and the very end of _Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku_. I said the day before that I'd Finished it. Not Quite. I had three more pages of notes on the translation which helped mostly with modern cultural references common in Japan, but not always elsewhere. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I talked with Nox. Then I read comics and watched videos. I also wrote a little in this and tackled the prompt for Creative writing again. I ended up throwing out everything, between detailing the problem with my writing and downplaying a problem elsewhere that has affected my writing. After that, I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, and did the mission on Ana, plus a hunt and another mission, finishing the story arc. I did the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Ana. Then I quickly dashed off notes in this with a couple of breaks, one to check Cross Stitch World. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {smile}

Daily Update, July 25, 2026

The night before Saturday, I got to bed a few minutes after 2 am, so I missed my first bedtime goal again. I really need to work on this. I was doing better for a while there. {smile}

After such a busy day on Friday, I mostly took things easy Saturday. I had breakfast with my main nurse, his TV, and Forward Day by Day. Then I went onto my computer. I watched videos and read comics through lunch and into the afternoon. Then I finished writing Friday's daily update. I wrote my reaction to a prompt from my writing teacher before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I started a story arc on Ana, hoping to get three badges from it. I had just started the last mission when I was called to dinner. I left her in the mission by the front door while I had dinner with my main nurse, his TV, and _Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku_. I kept reading until I finished the volume. {Smile}

Then I went back to my computer and City of Heroes: Homecoming. I continued the mission Ana was in, which was long. During the early arts, I talked with Michiel until he left for the evening. I continued the rest without talking to folks. It does slow me down and make it harder to win fights. I think I improved my strategy, since I had the setting hon higher difficulty for two of the badges. I got those two badges right at the end, but I already had the third badge. Next, I worked on the in-game auction house storage and crafting on Ana and Olivia Ragnarson until Dr. Faustus said hi. They suggested making a new Topaz Proudfoot, my new Hobbit, on the account they made for me. I did but had trouble getting her costume. I finally worked out the problem and fixed it. I quickly remade her after that, and ran the tutorial on her, teaming with a character of Dr. Faustus's. Then we finished getting a badge that's easiest gotten in the tutorial before I moved Topaz to the main game. Next, I gained a couple of levels doing several short missions, since low-level missions are usually short, before we said goodnight. I worked on the in-game auction house and storage on Topaz, Ana, and Olivia Ragnarson. After that, I wrote a little in this. I switched to making notes in this pretty quickly. I broke to check something City of Heroes: Homecoming a couple of times, and I checked Cross Stitch World once before I finished my notes. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, July 24, 2026

The night before Friday, I got to bed a few minutes before 2 am. Not much, but at least I made my first bedtime goal. {Smile}

After breakfast, I got a call from my cousin Kim. However, my main nurse was concerned it would make me late from class. I tried to say hi, and let her know what was going on, but when we got cut off, I got ready normally after letting my main nurse know the call was rarer than Auntie Barbara. When we had started down to class, I called my cousin. Kim put her mother on the phone. I talked with Aunt Valerie for the first time since Kim had to put her in a memory care facility early this year. She was vague, but I think she's reasonably happy in her new place. I talked briefly to Kim before hanging up just as we arrived at Kamana Senior Center. {Smile}

My Ballroom Dance Class went well. I reviewed most of the beginner moves. I think I know almost all of them to a fair degree, though a couple still need clarification. I even learned an intermediate move. I danced with a few different partners, some more than once. After class, my main nurse took me home. I played Cross Stitch World on the way back. {Smile}

At home, I called Kim. We had a nice, long talk. I sat by the front door, where Aunt Valerie swore was the best reception in the house. Another smart phone loving friend said the ramp was better, and the driveway better yet, but I wasn't in the mood to out outside. This house has much interference, probably from a radio and TV tower nearby. {Smile}

Eventually, the call ended, and I went to my computer. I ate lunch while watching videos and reading an article or two. Then I began writing up Thursday's daily update. I stopped to go into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Next, I worked on the beginning of the weekend auction house on Olivia Ragnarson. After that, I went to my villain supergroup meeting on ranged Olga. Patience and Dr. Faustus were already there. The most regular new member, our leader, Anya, and Seb on Marius all came later. The seven of us did a task force that gets special rewards this week after I switched to melee-ranged Olga, since she is enough higher level to do the taskforce. I really need to get ranged Olga higher in level so she can do more. After the taskforce, we talked, then broke up. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on melee-ranged Olga until a friend invited me to a team that was getting badges. I got Ana after a misunderstanding. Then they had so much trouble getting the game to let us do the thing, only one person got the badge we were after We had no time to re-do it for others to get. However, I did get another badge along the way. After wards, I went straight to dinner with my main nurse, his TV, and Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer and into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I checked Olivia Ragnarson, especially her auction house. Next, I finished Thursday's daily update. I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game again. I tried to work on badges on Ana but ended up exploring the player-made story arcs instead. Next, I finished a story arc I was writing myself. Twice. I finished it only to realize I'd fixed up a draft copy when i just wanted the published copy complete. So, I redid things in the published version, not copying because that would take longer than just making similar edits again, which I did. Then I updated Ana's badge record. I checked a few other characters, including revisiting Olivia Ragnarson. Next, I checked Cross Stitch World before I wrote in this and made notes here. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King.

Daily Update, July 23, 2026

The night before Thursday, I got to bed a few minutes after 2 am. Yes, I know I need to work harder at getting to bed earlier. {smile}

At breakfast, I got out my laptop. I set it up with the camera and other peripherals, and signed into HMSA, my health insurance provider, for my counselling with no trouble. It looks like I really do need a new computer that can run windows 11. The laptop successfully upgraded to that, but the desktop didn't, and HMSA isn't working with Windows 10. the session went well, with many new suggestions for problems that have some up recently. I hope some of them help. {Smile}

After the counselling, I switched to my desktop computer and put away my laptop. I watched videos and read comics through lunch and into the afternoon. I wrote up Wednesday's daily update around distracting videos. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming late. I checked on my friends who play the game. I found Kitten, and we teamed up with me on Ana and them on their newest character. While I was trying to find what I wanted to work on, Dennis said hi. He joined us, and we ran the same mission four times for assorted badges. Kitten switched characters partway through, but failed to get into the late-night short, large group event, and rejoined us. I got eight, and they got more; I'd gotten some already. I had dinner with my main nurse and Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

I emailed writing teacher, who replied soon after. Meanwhile, I cleaned up with the help of my main nurse. Then I got onto my computer and went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I talked with Kitten, but they were too tired to play. So, we just talked and kept each other company until they faded out. Then I broke to watch a video. I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I ran a badge mission on Ana, getting a badge. Next, I did a story arc on Ana, making progress towards another badge, but not getting it. I worked on the auction house, storage and crafting on her and Olivis Ragnarson. After that, I updated Ana's badge list. I checked and played Cross Stitch World before starting to write and make notes in this. I took a break to check friends in City of Heroes: Homecoming and email my writing teacher before I finished my notes. I ended my day with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King.

Daily Update, July 22, 2026

The night before Wednesday, I got to bed just a couple of minutes or so after 2 am. So I missed even my first goal, but at least not by much. I didn't have much trouble with being tired the next day, which is a relief. {Smile}

After dinner, my main nurse took me down to The Church of the Holy Cross, where I had my ballroom dance classes. I played Cross Stitch World on the way down, despite my phone being almost out of power. I did stop a little early, between a good stopping place and the low battery. I charged it most of the way during the classes, which both went well. We reviewed the moves we already knew and learned a new but similar one in Nightclub Twostep.  Then we reviewed what we knew in Cha-Cha and learned a new one there. Though I took Cha-Cha last fall at Kamana Senior Center, so most moves are familiar from that. My main nurse took me home afterwards, and I played Cross Stitch World on the way back. {Smile}

I had breakfast with my main nurse, his TV, and Forward Day by Day. Then I went onto my computer. I watched a lot of videos and read a few comics right through lunch and into the afternoon. Eventually, I wrote up the rest of Tuesday's daily update. Next, I went into City of Heroes: homecoming, noticing it was rather late, though I've been worse. I checked on my friends who play the game, said hi to Kitten, who didn't respond. However, Dennis said hi. He had some missions that make progress in improving characters. I found a character who needs that improvement. We ran the mission, and a follow-up mission with me on that character before I got called to dinner. It was with my main nurse and his TV. I tried to eat quickly so I could get to class on time, which included not reading anything. That always slows me down. {Smile}

When I got home after class, I went back to my computer. I talked with Nox on Discord, then went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I said hi to Dr, Faustus, but they didn't respond immediately. So, I made a character I've been thinking about. When I was getting them settled into the tutorial, Dr Faustus said hi. They joined me in the tutorial, since they have a version of their main character permanently in each tutorial. We ran it, though they did take time out in the middle. I just continued. I got a badge while in there, too

Then my character left the tutorial, and Dr. Faustus switched to a character so we could roleplay our first meeting outside of something we have planned. They set up an account for me so I can roleplay with two characters at once. Many even play with two, but I am not comfortable trying that. We ran late, said goodnight. I set up the character I was on, then checked some characters. Next, I wrote in this before switching to making notes in this to write from later. I broke to check and play Cross Stitch World. Then I checked some characters and closed windows before I finished making notes. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King.

Daily Update, July 21, 2026

The night before Tuesday, I got to bed a few minutes after 1:45 am. That met my first goal, and got close to my second goal, though it didn't meet it. I didn't notice feeling tired the next day, either. {Smile}

Late in the morning, my relief nurse took me down to Kamana Senior Center for my Creative Writing Class. I thought class went pretty well. The freewriting segment not only flowed nicely but helped me sort things out. I shared it with my teacher afterwards, and she says I need to write a memoir about my father and his stories about the early parts of his life. I loved those stories and never tired of hearing them. I even saved as many as he let me while he was in the nursing home. He'd tell me, and I took notes to reconstruct them from. He even asked me to publish them. Maybe I really should start working on that. My relief nurse took me back home afterwards. {Smile}

I had breakfast with my relief nurse, his TV, and Forward Day by Day. Then I went to my class. After we got back from class, I went to my computer. I read web comics, then went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I checked the Auction house for Olivia Ragnarson, the mid-level character who's particularly well-connected to Ana Marcelino. Next, I went to my teen supergroup meeting. Veronica soon came in. We started to roleplay. Jenny's Player joined us after I messaged her. Jawsome joined us as soon as he became free. He had joined something, not remembering it was our day to meet. Ulty joined us, too. When she did, we did one of the group's favorite taskforces. It helps that it gives better rewards this week and is the quickest taskforce that does. Nyxy on Pella said hi near the end. and joined us after we finished. All but Jenny's Player went to the base to roleplay, including Pella. Somehow, I started a Discord group that Ulty refused to start but said we could. No one else would, so I did. Veronica was interested in helping to run it. Just after making it, I went to dinner with relief nurse, his TV, and _Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku_.

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I figured out how to share running the group with Veronica and let her know. Well, she already had gone to bed but would find my note when she checked. Then I read web comics before I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I worked on the in-game auction house storage and crafting on Aneira, followed by some in-game auction house, storage and badge collecting on Olivia Ragnarson. Next, I realized Nox had said goodnight on Discord without me having shared Monday's daily update. So, I answered Nox, then wrote up Monday's daily update. After that, I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I checked a few things on Ana. I ran a story arc by myself for a badge on Ana. Next, I updated her badge record and confirmed she didn't need auction house, storage or crafting for once. I checked on my friends who play the game. After that, I checked Cross Stitch World. I closed windows on my computer. Then I wrote a little in this and made many notes in this to write from the next day. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, July 20, 2026

The night before Monday I managed to get to bed around 2:15 am; close enough, I'm not quite sure which side of it. Well, I'll just have to try harder in the future. At least I compensated with an after-lunch nap. {smile}

After breakfast, my relief nurse took me down to Auntie Sally's Lua'u Hale for my First Timer's Line Dance Class. I drowsed on the way. I got there early enough to talk with some gals before class. One is one I'm more familiar with. Class went well. I didn't miss a single dance, not even the "break dances." No, we aren't spinning on the floor or anything. We're just dancing while a break is officially called, with less instruction than our "proper" dances. I was really feeling the lack of sleep during the last dance, but I wasn't stumbling or making any mistakes that might increase my risk of falling, so I kept at it. I really need to watch the time on Sunday night and get to bed sooner. After class, my relief nurse took me to the ice cream parlor in Liliu'okalani Gardens. I picked out a guava popsicle and ate it on the way home. {Smile}

After we got back, I had lunch with my relief nurse, his TV, and Forward Day by Day. Then I napped. After that, I got onto my computer. I watched videos and read web comics and articles. Next, I wrote up Sunday's daily update. After that, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming late. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I worked on a badge on Ana until I broke for dinner with my relief nurse, his TV, and _Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku_. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to my computer. I read web comics, Then I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I talked a little with Ulty and Jenny's Player. Next, I finished the badge I'd worked on before dinner on Ana. After that, I worked on auction house, storage, and crafting on her, which led to getting another badge on her. I transferred stuff Ana didn't need after all to Olivia Ragnarson, a rarely used mid-level character, because she can get to a place Ana can leave stuff easily. I noticed she's low on badges, but we swiftly distracted when Dr. Faustus said hi. I switched to Peony, my younger Hobbit, and roleplayed with two of Dr. Faustus's characters. I ran a mission with them. Then we said goodnight. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Peon, then did a little more with storage on Ana and badge collecting on Olivia Ragnarson. She's still low in badges but getting better. Next, I broke and checked Cross Stitch World. I went back to my computer to write a little, and made notes to write from later, with a break to close windows and check Olivia Ragnarson in City of Heroes: Homecoming. After making more notes, I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, July 19, 2026

The night before Sunday, I got to bed a little after 2 am. Despite that, I set my alarm for 8:30 am because I knew that church would begin at 9 am. I can't get there by 9 am by getting up at 8:30, but I get there earlier without making myself sick getting up too early. {Smile}

After breakfast, my main nurse took me down to church. I drowsed on the way in hopes it would help my lack of sleep. I hope it did a little. I got there during the third reading, just before sermon, which meant I got a fair bit of the service, despite it starting at 9 am and being Morning Prayer, which is shorter than Holy Communion. I sat with Auntie Barbara and my main nurse and really enjoyed the service. After the service, I sat with Auntie Barbara and others for lunch. I really enjoyed visiting with them, especially Auntie Barbara. After lunch, my main nurse took me back home. I drowsed on the way back, definitely tired from my short night. {Smile}

When I got home, I treated my blood sugar before I took a nap. When I got up, I got onto my computer. I read web comics and articles, and watched videos, with some writing of Saturday's daily update in there. When I finished my daily update, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming particularly late. I checked on my friends who play the game, and realized Kitten had their new character in the late-night short, large group event. I joined the event and ran it. Afterwards, I talked with Kitten, and with Dennis, who'd messaged my character during the event. However, I didn't join either, because of dinner. I ate with my main nurse, his TV, Forward Day by Day, and _Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku_, which I particularly enjoyed because it was relevant to gamers. {Smile}

After dinner, I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. Then I went back to my computer. I read web comics before I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Next, I checked Ana's badges and picked some to work on. It took the rest of the evening to get two that came together. I updated her badge record, then quickly did an easy one that that update told me about, followed by a second easy one I learned about when I updated her badge record again. While I was working on the second easy badge, Kitten said hi. We talked while I finished the last badge, and updated Ana's badge record yet again. After that, I wrote a little in this and made notes to write from the next day. Then I checked Cross Stitch World. I finished my evening with The Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King.

Daily Update, July 18, 2026

The night before Saturday, I got to bed a few minutes after 2 am. I was trying to add to my bedtime routine, and everything slipped later. I'm sure there's a way to fix that, but I didn't succeed that night. {rueful smile}

Late in the morning, I called my cousin Kim. I thanked her for a package that arrived a couple of days ago. I didn't mention here when it did, because I thought Kim should get a proper thank you phone call. I got her on the first try. I thanked her, and then we moved on to what we've been doing, and how her mom, my aunt Valerie is doing, too. It was wonderful. Possibly the best part was arranging to talk more frequently. We're going to try weekly, like our moms used to do. {SMILE}

Before dinner, my main nurse took me down to Kamana Senior Center for the social for last session's Ballroom Dance class on Fridays. Not just students came, but friends in the ballroom dance community. Our teacher hosted and ran the music. He also danced, of course. Dinner was potluck. I took some taquitos and mini quiches my main nurse got ready. I danced several dances with a variety of partners. My main nurse took me home afterwards, with not much of the food we'd brought. I played Cross Stitch World on the way down, and the way back. {Smile}

I had breakfast with main nurse, his TV, and Forward Day by Day. I also started reading by the postscript and two annotations to "Perfect State" in _Tailored Realities_ by Brandon Sanderson. continuing after breakfast until I'd read them all. They were long enough, that took me notably into the morning after breakfast. After that, I called Kim, and we had a lovely long talk, that filled the rest of my morning. Then I went onto my computer. I watched videos, read articles and read web comics during and after lunch. Next, I wrote up Friday's daily update before I got ready for the social. Then I played Cross Stitch World until it was time to go. {Smile}

When I got home after the social, I went back to my computer. I read a web comic, and started this, writing a tiny bit. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I found a note from Dr. Faustus offering three badges. I replied, and found that Ivy, my fourth best badge collector, didn't have one, so we ran it and she got it. Nani, my fifth best badge collector didn't have the second badge, so we ran it and she got that one. Soo-In, my eighth best badge collector didn't have the third, so we ran that and she got it. Next, I switched to Peony, my younger Hobbit. We ran a timed mission she could get, then did two or three missions that finished a story arc she was working on. After that, Kitten joined our team but finished a giant monster hunt before actually joining us. We started a mission that Kitten helped us finish. Then we did one mission together. It was getting late, so we switched to hunts, doing three before Dr, Faustus left. I talked with Kitten and wrote more in this. I switched to Ivy, then Nani to update their badge records. Soo-In doesn't have a badge record so far. Next, I closed windows and made notes in this. I also briefly checked the web and Cross Stitch World before I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, July 17, 2026

The night before Friday, I got to bed slightly after 2 am. I missed my first goal, but at least I didn't miss it by much. {Smile}

After breakfast, my main nurse took me down to Kamana Senior Center for my Ballroom Dance Mambo Class. I think I'm getting all the beginner's steps, though I'm getting some steps better than others. Still, this is only the second class, so I'm delighted to be so far already. I danced with a few partners, both guys and gals, and occasionally sort of led when I thought I knew a step my partner wanted to learn. My main nurse took me home again after class. I read more of "Perfect State" in _Tailored Realities_ by Brandon Sanderson. I think it's a rare utopic story that's actually happy. {Smile}

When I got home from class, I went onto my computer. I read articles and web comics and watched videos through lunch. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I got Eamonn, made the last thing he needed to make a better end game power. I tried an individual timed mission to test it. It went well, but then I saw the early long, large-group event being advertised. That would be an even better test, so I joined it on Eamonn. I said hi to a friend I noticed. Next, I checked on my friends who play the game. After that, I socialized with the group until the event started. then I was mostly busy fighting, though I tried to socialize a bit as I could. It's so easy to just get caught up in playing and forget to talk with others, but for me, the point of playing a game that is shared by many simultaneously is to interact with people, not just the game system. After we ran the event, I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Eamonn. {Smile}

Then I switched to long-range Olga. I checked my long-time villain supergroup, but the meeting hadn't started yet. I checked some other characters, doing their weekend auction house, and went back to long-range Olga, and the meeting. Patience and Anya were already there when I got back, and our leader and Dr. Faustus followed me in shortly. We did a bit of roleplaying. Next, we started talking about what to do and who we expected to come. Noticing that Seb's characters were missing, I messaged him on Discord. He quickly brought Marius in. We did the strike force that gives special rewards this week. I switched to Hezabell, my highest-level member, for it because I thought both Olgas were too low. I realized partway through that melee-ranged Olga could do it. She was below the level we did it at, but high enough to get in. The game would compensate so she wouldn't have to be carried by the rest of the team. I'm figuring out how to ask better, so I know who can join. After the strike force, the meeting broke up, with members going their separate ways. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Hezabell, then worked on some auction house and storage on Ana, my third best badge collector. After a fair while, I realized Dennis had said hi embarrassingly long after he did. I switched to a moderately high-level character named Marigold and joined him for a couple of missions. After that, we said goodnight. I went to dinner with my main nurse, his TV, and Forward Day by Day, and "Perfect State" in _Tailored Realities_ by Brandon Sanderson. I finished that story. {Smile}

After dinner, I tried writing up Thursday's daily update but watched far more videos than I meant to before actually finishing and sharing Thursday's daily update. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Next, I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Ana while chatting with Wolf. After that, I ran a mission for a badge. I broke to check and play a little Cross Stitch World, then updated Ana's badge record. I did more in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Ana. Then, I began writing this. I paused to read two web comics. then wrote a little more and switched to making notes to write from. I ended the evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, July 16. 2026

 The night before Thursday, I did get to bed a few minutes before 2 am. however, I set my alarm for 8:40 because I thought I had a 10 am dental appointment the next day. So, I didn't get a full seven hours of downtime. {smile}

After breakfast, I got a call from my dentist's office the receptionist wanted to remind me about my appointment at 10:20 am. I was delighted to find it was a bit later. I was able to fully get ready to go down, instead of skipping some steps to speed things up like I'd planned to. When I was fully ready, my main nurse took me down. I took _Tailored Realities_ by Brandon Sanderson and read more of "Perfect State" on the way down, while waiting, and on the way home. {Smile}

The appointment itself was one big filling. They really numbed me up, then did a lot of work. The numbness took enough time to wear off; I delayed lunch but still ended up eating with a partially numb mouth. The tooth and the filling didn't hurt, but my tongue hurt from being bit during lunch, and my jaw ached. both pains mostly wore off by the end of the evening. {Smile}

At home, I went onto my computer. I read articles and web comics, before during, and after the delayed lunch. Then I wrote up Wednesday's daily update as I began to feel more together. I found a package that I'd ordered from Amazon, only to find that a Bible I'd ordered from my relief nurse only included the New Testament. My main nurse is helping me return it for a refund. I found a full Bible to replace it and ordered it I think it might be a few dollars cheaper, oddly enough. After I finished my daily update, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game. I talked with Seb, who was busy roleplaying. I checked on my friends who play the game again. Then I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Eamonn. While I was doing that, I ran into Veronica. We visited out-of-character for a fair while. I tried to make something for Eamonn, but made the wrong thing at one point, and could only get two of something he needed four of to replace what I'd made wrong. Veronica and I said goodbye when she headed off to bed as I went to dinner. I had dinner with my relief nurse, his TV, and forward Day by Day. {Smile}

After dinner, I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. Then I went back to my computer. I read web comics. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. After that, I tried to play on Eamonn to get the rest of what he needed. I did get one. Then Dr. Faustus said hi. I told them about Eamonn, but we both agreed it was late to do his idea for a fix, especially since I realized that getting the one more that I really needed would be easy the next day. I switched to Peony and roleplayed with Dr. Faustus while we did three hunts, finishing one contact Peony had. Next, we worked on another contact, starting another story arc Peony has. We said goodnight, and I checked on my friends who play the game. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Peony, then Eamonn. After that, I closed windows and wrote a fair bit in this before switching to making notes to write from in it. I checked Cross Stitch World in a break. I ended my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, July 15 2026

The night before Wednesday, I got to bed several minutes before 2 am, so I met my goal two days in a row. Recently, that's doing pretty well. {Smile}

After lunch, my housekeeper came and worked through the afternoon. She apologized for being away so long, but personal trouble prevented working for a while. Of course I understand. {smile}

After dinner, my main nurse took me down to the Church of the Holy Cross for my ballroom dancing classes. Our teachers for nightclub twostep were missing, but a substitute went over what we'd learned so far. The teachers will be back in a couple of weeks. Our cha-cha class was small, but we reviewed what we'd learned so far, including one we'd forgotten. Then my main nurse took me home. My phone needed charging on the way down, which wasn't available, so I watched the scenery out the window. I charged it most of the way during the classes, so I played Cross Stitch World on the way back, checking the scenery a few times. It's my main chance to see the town at night. {Smile}

I ate breakfast with my main nurse, his TV, and forward Day by Day. After breakfast, I went onto my computer. I read a few articles but mainly tried to compose a letter to my teacher. I ended up writing a short note asking what format to send the files in and started collecting relevant files. I switched to reading articles and watching videos during lunch. After lunch, I wrote up Tuesday's daily update. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I talked with Sebastian, but he was busy roleplaying. I checked on my friends who play the game again and looked around for something to do. I spotted that Roman taskforce. It gives special rewards this week that Eamonn and Valentina need. I ran it on Eamonn, since it's the last of those special rewards that I'm sure he needs unless and until he starts working on assist badges. This ran into dinner only because dinner was early because of my dance classes. I had dinner with my main nurse and nothing to read to be sure I ate quickly. I succeeded in leaving at a good time for my class. {Smile}

After class, I got back onto my computer and into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I remembered Ana was in a mini story arc by herself for a badge or two, so I ran it, and got two badges. Dr. Faustus said hi during it. I let them know what I was doing - which I can't add friends to in the middle of - and joined them as soon as I finished. They told me that one of the new members has left the villain group that meets most Fridays. I'm sorry to see them go. Anyway, Dr. Faustus and I teamed up with me on ranged Olga. We squeezed in one mission despite it being late for us to start one. Next, we said goodnight. I worked on the in-game auction house and storage on ranged Olga. I also updated Ana's badge record and worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on her. After that, I checked on my friends who play the game again. Then I wrote a little in this, then started making notes in this. I broke for a little Cross Stitch World, and closed windows before I finished making notes in this. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}

Daily Update, July 14, 2026

The night before Tuesday, I got to bed several minutes before 2 am. It was good to make my first goal when I've missed it so much recently. {Smile}

Right after breakfast, my relief nurse took me down to Kamana Senior Center and dropped me off. It was a little over an hour early for my Creative Writing Class, but my relief nurse had an appointment of his own to go to right after that. So, I sat on a bench and started reading "Perfect State" in _Tailored Realities_ by Brandon Sanderson. A gal said hi who'd been in previous Creative Writing classes. She was stuck in writer's block but planned to come to class. I went in when I saw others moving towards the room. Our teacher was there, so I settled in and waited for class. {Smile}

Class itself went well, though I only ended up with an in-class writing assignment to share. I asked my teacher about what to do with the series that I'm struggling with that I tried to tell her about last week. She wants to see what I have so far. I am working on that. I had lunch during class. After class, my relief nurse took me home. {Smile}

Back at home, I ate a snack with my relief nurse and his TV before I got onto my computer. Once there, I went pretty straight to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I went to the teen supergroup's base on Aneira and parked her where we usually start our meeting. Then I checked comics and articles elsewhere on my computer. I came back to Aneira only to realize I heard two members talking, but no one was in the room. I went down to the lobby, since I've often heard voices carry between that particular pair of floors. I found Ulty's character and Veronica were talking mostly in-character. I joined the roleplaying. Jawsome and one of Jenny's Player's characters joined the roleplaying as they arrived. The roleplaying petered out into out-of-character conversation, then went quiet for a while before Ulty brought up taskforces. We picked one but waited for Nyxy's Pella. Eventually, we to the zone that taskforce happens in to wait. We were beginning to think about going without Pella when she finally appeared, first in Discord, then in the supergroup before joining our team. Once she was fully with us, we quickly began the taskforce. It went pretty well. Afterwards, Jawsome soon left for bed, and Jenny's player left to prepare for work the next day. Pella, V, Ulty's character and I roleplayed until I said goodbye and left for dinner. I ate with my relief nurse, his TV and Forward Day by Day, followed by a fair bit of discussion with my relief nurse. {Smile}

Eventually, I got back to my computer. I checked Aneira's supergroup in City of Heroes: Homecoming, but everyone else had left. I wrote up Monday's daily update, with long breaks to read web comics because I couldn't stay focused, but I did eventually finish. Then I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I did auction house, storage and crafting on Aneira. Next, I started to work on a badge for Ana. Dr. Faustus said hi, so I stopped what I was doing on Ana, and switched to Peony. We roleplayed at some length before we did a mission of mine, not the hunts Dr. Faustus picked, because I misunderstood, and got a timed mission. After that, we said goodnight. I did some in-game auction house, storage and crafting on Peony, with a short break for Cross Stitch World. Then I wrote a little of this, with a long break reading comics and taking care of myself. I wrote a little more of this, then added lots of notes to write from later. I finished my evening with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}
