On Tuesday I got out two small Christmas trees, redecorating them where the ornaments had been disturbed. I put a one-foot tree in the playroom, where my nurses sit the most. I put a two-foot tree with lights on it by my computer in the computer room. I got out a music box with a ceramic Christmas tree and put that by the nurses, too. This was my minimal start to Christmas decorating this year. {Smile}
I had breakfast with my substitute relief nurse. Then I watched videos on the web, mostly bardcore and dance videos. Then I had lunch with my substitute relief nurse. Then I got out the trees for a minimal start to Christmas decorating. After that, I watched several more dance videos and shared the last few with my substitute relief nurse when she showed an interest until it was time to go to my teen supergroup meeting. I arrived slightly early to the meeting on my slightly higher-level member, but our leader was already there. Others started coming in after me. Someone suggested the new taskforce, which is apparently a Weekly Strike Target, with special rewards for doing it the first time on each character. The leader chose to do my story arc instead. To my surprise, we did the whole thing in one day, only breaking up after the last mission. I'm impressed. It's a long one that I fully expected to take two sessions to do. However, we played right through dinner and got it all finished. {SMILE}
After we broke up, I worked on the auction house, storage and crafting that doing that story arc produced. Then I took a break from City of Heroes: Homecoming to write up Monday's daily update. I tried to keep breaks to a minimum but was still late going back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I started with checking on my friends who play the game, then moved on to the in-game auction house, storage and crafting. I checked the character and discovered she was holding a villain contact despite being a hero. It was just engaged enough to possibly complicate things down the line, so I messaged Dr. Faustus about getting together. Then I began talking to Nox on Discord, the chat server. I also fetched a snack, which made me slow getting back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I found Dr. Faustus waiting for me when I did get back. Oops! We got together and started the first story arc of the villain contact my slightly higher-level teen supergroup member had. We did a series of particularly connected short missions. Near the end, Phonso invited me to a taskforce. I checked with Dr. Faustus, who wanted to finish up. Phonso took that as a no, which I accepted. Dr. Faustus and I finished the series of short mission. Then Dr. Faustus left. So, I checked with Phonso, and joined him to run the taskforce when he finished recruiting a team. Next, the team broke up, and I said goodbye to Phonso. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and badging. After that, I made notes in this with breaks for articles and comics on the web, as well as playing a little Cross Stitch World. Then I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming for a little storage and badge collecting. I finished the evening with saying the Lord's Prayer and reading Forward Day by Day. {Smile}
