On Sunday after breakfast, my main nurse and I went to church. We got there just before the offertory, which is barely before the communion itself. We were there for communion and sat with Auntie Barbara. {Smile}
After the service, we had lunch on the lanai, with enough tables, the main dishes were in a room to the side. Yet we ran out of main courses, and at least one lady didn't get anything except dessert. I don't think the dessert table ran out, or not entirely.
Starting during lunch, we had a parish-wide meeting, where the leader, a priest from the Cathedral in Honolulu, led us through answering three questions: 1) Who we are as a parish, 2) Who we want to become as a parish, and 3) What kind of person should our priest be to get us there. We wrote down every answer someone called out, then put check marks by our favorites. He gave us each five checks for the first list, and four for each of the latter two. {Smile}
After that, we left. I went with Auntie Barbara and a friend of hers to visit our friend Charlotte, who is housebound. We enjoyed talking with her. I even found the only short video of Dad. Thankfully, I have it up on Facebook. We not only saw what he and Mom looked like when he was in the nursing home. We heard him singing a song about Mary. Then Auntie Barbara took me back home. {Smile}
I didn't get any exercise, but I look forward to my line dancing class the next day. {Smile}
On the way down to church, I made notes about two phone calls I need to make. One is to my doctor, because the infection seems resistant to the antibiotic they gave me. The other is to my financial adviser, to talk about stuff I found recently at Mom's bank. On the way back, I talked with Auntie Barbra and her friend. When I got home, I played Cross Stitch World and browsed on the web until I took a nap because I'd gotten to bed too late for such an early morning as Sundays are this summer. After my nap, I played more Cross Stitch World and browsed the web some more before I wrote up Saturday's daily update. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I started working with the auction house and crafting. I also checked which friends were on. Then I checked Discord, the chat server, where I chatted with Nox and told Dennis I hoped we could get together after his walk. Next, I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked and began setting up the character I just got out of the tutorial. Then I played by myself on the last character stuck in the tutorial, making distinct progress on her until Dennis said hi. I switched to the moderately high-level villain supergroup member so we could team up. He helped me improve her a bit more. Then we squeezed in a not-too-long mission before dinner. {Smile}
After dinner, I browsed on the web and started making notes in this. I paused to watch some videos, then made more notes in this before I went back into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked the auction house, then took a break to catch up on web comics. Then i went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming, where I played by myself to get the last character stuck in the tutorial out, this time with the badge her sister missed. Then I began setting her up. I stopped when Dr. Faustus said hi, switching to a mid-level villain I've been wanting to introduce him to. We started a story arc together, or at least I talked to the contact. However, we noticed this assumed I'd done a taskforce I hadn't on her as a villain. So, we did the taskforce the dialog assumes we have done. After that, we did the first mission of the story arc before saying goodnight. Then I checked some of the stuff she'd picked up. Next, I read web comics before finishing making notes in this. {Smile}
