Daily Update. October 28. 2026

The night before Wednesday, I got to bed shortly after 2 am. I missed my first bedtime goal by only 2 or 3 minutes. {Smile}

After dinner, my main nurse took me down to the Church of the Holy Cross for my ballroom dancing classes. I danced with one of the other gals before the first class began. That was Foxtrot, and we're getting into come complicated steps and combinations. I'm enjoying the challenge. Then came Bachata, which is also getting more complicated. Again, I enjoyed the challenge. The new gal I'd never met before from last Friday's class was there again. She did the Foxtrot, and the beginning and the end of the Bachata, but did sit out some of the middle. It is a lot of dancing if you aren't used to it. After class, my main nurse took me home. I played Cross Stitch World both on the way and on the way back. It's late enough in the year, it's dark both ways. That's the high tropics; we do have different seasons. They're just mild. {Smile}

I had breakfast with my main nurse, the TV, and Forward Day by Day. After breakfast, I went onto my computer. I spent all morning researching political candidates to prepare for the upcoming election. I hoped to vote the next day, after lunch (and did). yes, it's early, but the lines are rarely long ahead of time. I finished at lunch time and switched to browsing books on Amazon during lunch. I continued browsing books on Amazon well into the afternoon. Then I wrote up Tuesday's daily update. I posted a note in Discord, the chat server, before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I said hi to Kitten. We teamed up with me on melee-ranged Olga. Dennis joined us. We three started a story arc that's helping to keep her from gaining level, along with one other story arc. We ended at dinner time, partway through that story arc. I had dinner with my main nurse, the TV, and _Abby and the Stone Heart_ by Nick Blade. {Smile}

After dinner, I went to my classes. After I got back, I went onto my computer and browsed books on Amazon. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on melee-ranged Olga. I crafted for badges on Emmy Overstreet. Next, I ran a hunt on Peony Boffin before I worked on the in-game auction house and storage on Peony. I read some web comics. I played Cross Stitch World. After that, I closed windows on my computer. That really helps with distractions when I'm writing or making notes, though I opened enough to get a little distracted later. I mainly wrote and made notes in this. I ended my day with the Lord's Prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}
