Daily Update, September 25, 2025

On Thursday after breakfast, I had my online counselling appointment. It was a good session. We mostly talked about ways to strengthen different personal connections I have, since I'm feeling the absence of the closeness that I had with my parents more keenly. I think the numbness from losing Mom is wearing off. I even said as much when we started. {smile}

Then a while after lunch I sat down and went over a form from Mom's lawyer. In pencil on the home copy for easy correcting, I filled in what I knew off the top of my head or could easily look up on a form they gave me that Dad had filled out. Then I carefully noted on color-coded Post-it notes who to call about the stuff I don't know I thought that was pretty good progress for a first day's work on it. {Smile}

After counselling I played Cross Stitch World to wind down. Then I wrote up Wednesday's daily update, with breaks to play more Cross Stitch World and looking for the papers I need to fill out. then I had lunch while taking notes in this and reading a web comic. Then I tried to call a cousin and left a message. Next, I started filling out forms for Mom's lawyer. After that I played Cross Stitch World and made notes in this. Then I answered Dennis and Kitten in Discord, the chat server, before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends and found Dennis. We talked, and teamed up, doing a mission of mine before dinner. {Smile}

After dinner, I read articles on web before I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends. Then I took a break to make more notes in this. Next, I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming to work with the auction house, storage, and crafting. After that, I started chatting with Nox on Discord while I looked for something to get into on City of Heroes: Homecoming. Dr. Faustus said hi there, and we started chatting. I discovered that he'd just finished a story arc I needed to do on the mid-level character who's been teaming with one of his characters. We teamed up and did that story arc for my character. Then we did the sequel, with both of us getting full credit. We talked afterwards, planning what we'll do next. Then we said goodnight. I sorted out the auction house and storage, and made more notes in this, with breaks to play Cross Stitch World. Then I said a prayer and read Forward Day by Day before browsing books on Amazon. {Smile}
