Daily Update, December 21, 2025

 The night before Sunday I didn't get to bed early. Also, I slept fitfully at first. So, when I woke up, I felt tired. I tried to fix this by resting while my main nurse took me down to church. My eyes were closed, as I tried to reach half asleep. It seemed to help. I had more energy after that. {Smile}

We actually got there before the service started. I sat with Auntie Barbara, but not long before I remembered that I'd seen a note from someone in our Daughters of the King chapter about poinsettias still being available. So, I looked into it and claimed four, one each for Uncle Lester, Aunt Marjorie, Dad, and Mom. By then, the announcements had started. The service was nice. We had holy communion with the same supply priest as last week. {Smile}

Afterwards, we had lunch on the lanai. Auntie Barbara wanted to eat with others, and talk later, so I ate at a different table, an talked with a few different folks. Auntie Barbara and I did talk on the way to Charlotte's, and from Charlotte's to my home. Yes, we visited Charlotte at her home, with another Anne along with us. The other Anne and Auntie Barbara were planning to go shopping after they took me home after our visit. It was nice talking with Charlotte again. {Smile}

At home, I got onto my computer. I read articles and comics, and watched videos, all on the web. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting until Kitten said hi. I stopped so Kitten and I could team up. They wanted to show me something in an extra-tough zone which required a fair bit of setting up to get to. That was rather frustrating, but I was happy to be playing with Kitten. Pierogies tried to join us, but he didn't realize how tough the zone is, and left, frustrated. Kitten kept working with me and finally got me to the place where they could show me a puzzle they found. They've been working on it for a month. It's pretty badly stuck, which is frustrating for them. They're pretty sure it's one or two small things just slightly off... We wound down from this talking about eh puzzle and the frustration with it not long before I was called to dinner. {Smile}

After dinner, I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. Then I went back to my computer, and City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game and found Kitten. We talked until they said they were tired and faded out. Next, Ulty said hi, and invited me to a taskforce. I ran it with her, Jenny's Player, Nyxy, and the team Ulty recruited. Mostly the same group ran the sequel taskforce, too. My character accidentally gained two levels before I caught it and turned of experience. That character will miss some content, though I could do much of it in a retroactive way that doesn't let me invite friends after beginning an episode. However, I've been reminding myself that I have enough other characters ready to do it, this isn't really much of a loss. I started to fix up that character after the taskforce. I stopped when Dr. Faustus said hi so we could team up. I switched to my younger Hobbit, and we ran a mission that earned a new contact, with Dr. Faustus playing her mage friend who helped her with what she was doing.  When it got to be time, we said goodnight. Then I made notes in this. I took a brief break to play Cross Stitch World, and a longer break for some auction house, crafting, and storage on City of Heroes: Homecoming That included not just improving that character who ran the taskforces but talking with Pierogies. I hope he's less frustrated after I explained how tough that zone really is. I finished my evening by saying the Lord's Prayer and reading Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

Daily Update, December 20, 2025

On Saturday, late in the afternoon, my main nurse took me down to church. They were having a "blue Christmas service" for people who are struggling with being happy through the holidays, especially if they're missing loved ones who've died or live elsewhere, but also for other reasons. It was ecumenical, with ministers from a few different churches involved, along with our own deacon. {smile}

I talked with Laurie, a fellow member of the Daughters of the King, beforehand, and one of Charlotte's daughters, who used to be one of our housekeepers, afterwards. She's part of why I say, "our families are friends," since we both got drawn into our parents' friendship, becoming friends ourselves. We had cookies on the lanai afterwards, which gave me a chance to talk to a few more people. Then my main nurse took me home. {Smile}

After breakfast. I read comics and articles and watched videos, all on the web. Then I had lunch with some more videos and comics on the web. I also wrote up my daily update, taking breaks for more videos and comics. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, then worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting. I also talked with Pierogies and Kitten, but they were both too tired to team up and play. So, I tried to badge hunt on my best badge hunter, but she's getting harder to badge hunt on, so I gave up and went to church. When we got back from the service, I played Cross Stitch World and read articles on the web until I had dinner with my main nurse. {Smile}

After dinner, I went back to City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game. Then I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting until The_Cyberchill, a Twitch streamer I know, said hi. We teamed up and started a mission together. Then they stopped to improve their character while I hunted on my own. When they were done, we got back to my mission. Things went a little better, so we did a couple more missions. Next, Dr Faustus joined us. We did a few more missions before Kitten joined us, too, followed quickly by Dragons and a friend of theirs. We did a couple more before Dr. Faustus left, and Kitten said they were tired and faded out. Dragons, their friend and I did three more missions before we broke up. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting. Then I started making notes in this. I did break to play Cross Stitch World before finishing my notes in this. I closed out my evening by saying the Lord's Prayer and reading Froward Day by Day. {Smile}

Daily Update, December 19, 2025

On Friday, after breakfast, I napped. I'd gotten to bed too late and not settled quickly or thoroughly enough. I was also chilled, dn being under the covers does warm me up. The rest of the day, I stayed home and took it easy. {Smile}

After my nap, I went onto my computer. first, I watched a bunch of videos on the web. then came lunch, when I read some articles on the web in addition to watching more videos there. After lunch, I watched more videos and read more articles, along with reading some comics, yes, all on the web. I also began writing up Thursday's daily update and began talking with Nox on Discord, the chat server. I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming just in time for my villain supergroup meeting. I was not the first one there, so I immediately joined the roleplaying. Eventually, we moved on to two winter-themed missions, followed by a trial that has special rewards this week. After that, the meeting quickly broke up, and I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting until dinner. {Smile}

After dinner, I watched videos on the web and finished writing up Thursday's daily update. I also continued talking with Nox on Discord, the chat server. When my update was finished, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming, and looked at the in-game auction house, storage and crafting, and checked on my friends who play the game. Then I began hunting on my higher-level teen supergroup member until Pierogies said hi. He and I teamed up with me on the same character and started doing missions. After one or two, Michiel joined us. After a few more missions, Pierogies left for bed. Michiel and I did another mission and were just starting a second mission when Phonso invited us to a taskforce. We joined Phonso, who recruited the rest of a team. Then we ran trial. Next, Michiel left for bed. A few others left, too, so Phonso recruited another team. That team ran a second trial. After that, Phonso recruited a third, slightly small team, and we ran a third trial. Then we said goodnight as the team broke up. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage, and crafting. Next, I made notes in this. I took breaks to play Cross Stitch World, and to do the in-game auction house storage and crafting on City of Heroes: Homecoming. When I was done with my notes, I said the Lord's Prayer and read forward Day by Day. {Smile}

Daily Update, December 18, 2025

Thursday started with video counselling. I was a little late, but I think we had a good session. The next will be in the new year, at least two weeks in a row to see how the holidays went. {Smile}

I called my cousin Kim and talked with both her and my Aunt Valerie. I let them know their presents should be there before Christmas, but Mom's picture books should get there significantly later. Then we caught up on what each other are doing. It was a nice talk. {Smile}

I also called my cousin Nancy but got her answering machine when I didn't get dropped first. So, I texted her, too. I picked out some gifts on Amazon while waiting for a reply. I got a text back. She's in an area where she gets dropped so much, she's given up trying to call. I confirmed her address. I ordered the gifts I'd picked out earlier a while later. That took a couple of tries because on the first try, I forgot to have them send the gifts to her address instead of mine. I texted her again afterwards to let her know they were on their way, and when they might arrive. {Smile}

After my video counselling session, I watched videos and read articles and comics on the web. I also began calling and texting the two cousins I mentioned. I read comics on the web during lunch, before I finished the calls and texts. Those were intermittent and continued well into the afternoon. Partway through the afternoon, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game, then worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting. Then I started writing up daily update. In the game, I spotted a trial I hoped I might get a badge from for my best badge collector. I ran it on her but didn't get the badge. I guess she had it, but I didn't spot it. She does have a lot of badges. I've realized my second-beat badge collector might not have it, so I'll have to watch for it. I finished the texts with my cousin Nancy. Then Ulty invited me to a taskforce. I ran it, finishing enough before dinner to squeeze in a bath and a little more daily update writing. {smile}

After dinner, I read articles on the web and finished my daily update. Then I checked Discord, the chat server, and found out that Dennis wanted to team up. I dashed into City of Heroes: Homecoming and teamed up with Dennis. We did some winter-themed missions for the badges they give until he left for bed. Next, I checked on my friends. After that, I started to check things on my second-best badge collector when I got invited to a team by someone I didn't know. I also got invited to a taskforce by Divi, but it filled and started without me while I was figuring out the team, which was a new guy wanting a low-level trial popular for levelling. I started to help him set it up. Then I happily handed the organization over to another who showed up and seemed happy to lead. I established long-term connections with the volunteer leader and ran the trial. We lost the new fellow partway way through. then our leader organized and recruited a taskforce, followed by its sequel, another taskforce. I ran both, despite it really being too late for the second one. Then it broke up. I did the in-game auction house, storage and crafting. Then I made notes in this, taking breaks for auction house, storage, crafting, and reading a comic on the web. After I finished notes in this, I said the Lord's Prayer and read Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

Daily Update, December 17, 2025

On Wednesday, I met my new yardman. He warned me and my main nurse of a price increase starting next month. How much we paid our last yardman came up. I explained how he started at one rate. Then our housekeeper needed an assistant, and the one she found asked for more than she got. Dad refused to pay the boss less than the assistant, so he raised our housekeeper's salary to the assistant's asking price. Then he realized Bill, our yardman, hadn't asked for a raise in over a decade, so he gave him a raise, too. I found out how much our yardman planned to ask for next month, and added raised this month's check by that much, neatly initialed where necessary. My new yardman said I didn't have to, but I felt it was right. {Smile}

Through the morning, I got a few short phone calls from Auntie Barbara. She let me know when to meet at Book Buyers, our usual bookstore. Then she warned me that she was held up on the way into town. I was already headed out, so my main nurse dropped me off at the bookstore early. I browsed in the bookstore while I waited for Auntie Barbara. She came bearing books to trade in that covered almost all of the books that were supposed to be my gift to her. Thankfully, I'd spotted a book to ask her about that I had at home. She looked it over and said she was interested. I put it back. I'll give her it and the prequel that I have as her "real" Christmas gifts. My own first choice was surprisingly expensive. I found a second choice more in line with what we both intended. {Smile}

Next, she and I walked to her car a couple of blocks away and drove to have lunch at Island Naturals. My nurse met us there. Her friend and her friend's sons cancelled at the last minute. However, a woman and her son shared our table, and we five chatted over lunch. That was nice, especially since auntie Barbara's other friend couldn't make it after all. My main nurse took me home after lunch. {Smile}

In the morning, I watched videos and read articles in the web until I got ready for the trip to visit with Auntie Barbara. When I got home, I got the books for Auntie Barbara and put them in a gift bag. I consider them her real presents, since she mostly paid for the others. Then i got onto my computer. I read articles and comics and watched videos on the web. then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I did a bit of in-game auction house, storage and crafting. Then I checked on my friends who play the game. I picked a set of badges my 2nd best badge collector didn't have and researched how to get them. She had what she needed for them to be easy to get, so I got all but the one she already had. I repeated the process on my third-best badge collector, who was missing all but one too, but not the same one. Towards the end, I talked with a friend I rarely talk to I ran into dinner slightly, before breaking for dinner. {Smile}

After dinner, I found another group of badges my third best badge collector didn't have and worked on getting them. I had to make some tweaks to get one more badge after I got most. Dennis said hi during that, and we talked until I was done. Then I helped him get several winter event badges on his character, getting one badge on my seventh-best badge collector, too. Next, he left for bed, and I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting until Dr. Faustus said hi. We got together and finished the story arc my higher-level teen supergroup member hadn't quite finished. Michiel joined us, and we did a few more missions. I squeezed in writing up Tuesday's daily update between missions. Then Dr. Faustus asked if I was ready to get a contact. I realized I hadn't even started what he meant. I got the contact I needed to start the process, then realized I'd rather do it on my younger Hobbit. I switched characters and did a couple of missions on her with Dr. Faustus. I also finished Tuesday's daily update. Next, Dr. Faustus said goodnight. I worked on the in-game auction house, storage, and crafting. Then I made notes in this with one break to check Cross Stitch World before I finished the notes. I finally said the Lord's Prayer and Forward Day by Day before going to bed. {Smile}

Daily Update, December 16, 2025

On Tuesday after breakfast, I wrapped my cousin Kim's and Aunt Valerie's presents. then I packed them up and addressed both them and the box of most of Mom's picture books. Then after lunch, my substitute relief nurse took me out. First, we went to the post office, where I mailed both packages. I used Priority Mail only for the presents. The books got the much slower but less pricey Media Mail. That means boat for much of the trip, but it will get there eventually. {Smile}

Next, we went to the ice cream parlor in Liliu'okalani Gardens. A group of six boys were getting stuff, with each paying for theirs separately, so we had to wait. I got a blueberry cream popsicle and enjoyed it on the way to Ross. My substitute relief nurse wanted to check the sales there. Then she took me home, where I was only slightly late to my teen supergroup meeting. Well, late for me; some of the others insisted I was on time. {Smile}

I ate lunch at my computer while reading articles and watching videos on the web. Then came our trip out. After I got home, I got right onto my computer, into City of Heroes: Homecoming, and into my teen supergroup meeting. Then I checked on my friends who play the game while we roleplayed. I talked with Kitten, but I was busy with my supergroup, roleplaying with them. Then my supergroup did a trial with special rewards. I gained two levels while doing it. I have one more to gain before I stop to do more story arcs and such. That one level opens another trial which is also special this week, but I can't get the specials twice. Only the first time counts towards special rewards. After the trial, we roleplayed. I also talked with Dennis, but I was still busy with my supergroup. Gradually, one after another member of the supergroup left. Dennis left not long before our meeting ended. Dennis spoke of coming back, but I didn't spot him. {Smile}

I did some of the in-game auction house, storage and crafting that the play with my supergroup produced. Then I got my third best badge collector and finished the badge I worked on the night before. Actually, I got two badges, because they come together. Next, I updated my third-best badge collector's badge record and did more of the in-game auction house, storage and crafting until I spotted a raid that gives a badge that my third-best badge collector didn't have. So, I stopped to do it, getting the badge. I also talked with Nox on Discord, the chat server, and began writing up Monday's daily update. Then Phonso said hi in City of Heroes: Homecoming. He invited me to only two trials, since they were the last his character needs for a badge. I continued writing Monday's daily update until we ran first trial. Then I finished Monday's daily update while Phonso recruited for the second trial. We ran second trial, then I said goodnight to Phonso, and did the in-game auction house, storage, and crafting the trials produced. Next, I started making notes in this. I took a break to update my third best badge collector's badge record, and do some in-game auction house, storage, and crafting on her. Then I finished notes in this. I ended the evening by saying the Lord's Prayer and reading Forward Day by Day. {Smile}

Daily Update, December 15, 2025

On Monday after breakfast. I worked on getting some books and presents fixed up to send to Aunt Valerie and my cousin Kim. It took all morning just to box up the books and begin to prepare the box for the presents, both with my substitute relief nurse's help. Oh, and find Kim's presents, which had fallen off a chair behind it, so the chair hid them. the chair was in the computer room tucked into a corner, so you couldn't just walk around it. I had to remove the books that were on the chair, move the chair, get the books off the floor, and put everything else back. Yeah, that took the better part of an hour to find. I didn't even wrap the presents. {Smile}

After lunch, I swiftly got dressed, and my substitute relief nurse and I went to a funeral for a friend of hers. It was at the Catholic Church... somehow, the only funerals I've been to before were at my own church. It was interesting to see how someone else did it. On the way out, we grabbed some take-outs prepared for attendees. Then we went to the ice cream parlor in Liliu'okalani Gardens. We got there just after 3 pm, when they nominally close, but they were still open because one set of customers was slow leaving. So, my substitute relief nurse and I got popsicles. I had haupia, but for the first time, it had lots of shredded coconut in it. It was tasty, but not really haupia, which is a coconut milk dish without the coconut meat in it. Next, we went to Safeway, where I got some medicine that I was low on. My substitute relief nurse picked up a few things, too. Then we went back home. {Smile}

After working on the boxes, I had lunch at my computer while reading articles and watching videos on the web. Then we went out. After we got back, I read articles and comics and watched videos on the web. I also talked with Dr. Faustus on Discord, arranging to level my higher-level teen supergroup member for the meeting the next day, then finish the story arc with them afterwards. This gave her more options of things she could do at the meeting the next day. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Then I worked on the in-game auction house and storage. Next, I checked on my friends again and spotted Kitten this time. I said hi, and we teamed up. Kitten helped me with a short, two-mission story arc on my higher-level teen supergroup member. After a few false starts, I got it set high enough to be rewarding, but not so high as to be too frustrating or slow. I levelled that character between the two missions of the story arc. Dennis joined us at the end of the first mission and helped with the second mission, finishing the story arc. After my story arc, Kitten and I helped Dennis get some badges available only during the winter event, plus a couple only available then and during the Valentine's event. Kitten went quiet and faded out partway through. Dinner happened around this time, but at the computer, so I didn't have to stop playing. {Smile}

After that, Dennis said goodbye after I promised to help him with another mission that gives another badge soon. I worked on the auction house, storage and crafting that playing had produced until Phonso invited me to three trials. I did all three trials with Phonso, though the last was late for me. I snuck in writing up Monday's daily update during recruiting for the first two trials. I said goodnight to Nox after the last trial. Next, I did a little auction house and storage but not much before I started making notes in this. I paused to read some articles on the web before finishing my notes in this. Then I said the Lord's Prayer and read forward Day by Day. {Smile}

Daily Update, December 14, 2025

On Sunday, I got up a little early after going to be a little early. then after breakfast, my main nurse took me to church. We walked in just as the prelude was finishing. We were over halfway to our seats when the announcements started. I could be very happy with arriving that early regularly. {Smile}

I sat with Auntie Barbara, though she soon left because the family with kids who'd been coming regularly for a while came back some illness had been going around their family, but they're better again. The service was nice. We had a priest again! She'll be here next Sunday, too. It was great to have Holy Communion again; we only have that when we have a priest.  I like Morning Prayer, which can be led without a priest, or even a deacon, but Holy Communion is special, even when it's the regular service. {Smile}

After the service, we had a big lunch on the lanai. Auntie Barbara brought a lot because she was the only one in her group coming, but others in a different group brought stuff too. I sat and talked with BJ. After lunch, I ran into Melanie and a fellow from my Creative Writing class. Both came because of a concert a little later. Part of me wishes I could have stayed, but I was ready to go see Charlotte with Auntie Barbara, who was leaving. We talked a fair bit on the way. Then we had a nice visit with Charlotte. Afterwards, Auntie Barbara took me home with a little more chatting. {Smile}

Back at home, I got onto my computer I read articles and watched videos on the web. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. Next, I worked on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting until Pierogies said hi. He wanted to team up on low-level characters because he's got one that he's working up in level. So, I found two near him who were doing the same line of story arcs he was doing. I let him pick one. He was behind, so we did his first. When he caught up, we did a mix of his and mine, both getting credit whoever's we did. After a few missions, he wanted to do the later long, large-group event. We both switched to high-level characters. I ran into Crash, who mentioned writing. He shared a story for me to look at later. I expected to leave early, but when I was called to dinner, I was just a few minutes from the end. So, I finished, then dashed off to dinner. {Smile}

After dinner, I finished writing up Saturday's daily update, which I'd started writing on Saturday itself. I'm not sure if I started reading Crash's story here, or later in the evening, but I did start. Then I cleaned myself up with the help of my main nurse. Next, I got back onto my computer. I read comics on the web, and if I didn't read Crash's story earlier, I did so here. After that, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game. Then I worked on the in-game auction house and storage that my earlier play had produced. Next, I got my third best badge collector and quickly got three event badges. Then I started collecting presents for a longer to get badge that should collect a currency needed for three more badges. I stopped to fight a winter giant monster I found, but it disappeared on me and the two others who showed up to help. However, we went after a standard giant monster who might have gotten the winter one if it didn't time out first. I had to recruit more for the other giant monster, but we got him, with rewards, including a badge which my character didn't have yet. Next, the team broke up, and I went back to working on the longer-to-get winter badge. I stopped when I had enough of the currency to get three more winter event badges because it was getting late. I don't usually get the long badge in one day. After that, I updated her badge list. Then I checked my second-best and best badge collectors' lists. My best badge collector had them all already, but my second-best badge collector didn't the six quick winter badges, and did have enough of the currency, having gotten the long badge long ago. So, I got the six for her, and updated her badge record, too. Next, I made notes in this, with a couple of breaks to play Cross Stitch World and work on some more auction house, storage and crafting in City of Heroes: Homecoming before I said the Lord's Prayer and read Forward Day by Day to finish out my evening. {Smile}

Daily Update, December 13, 3035

On Saturday in the late afternoon, my main nurse took me down to Kamana Senior Center, where the group who hosts the ballroom dance classes was holding a party with dancing and a potluck. I talked with the teacher's assistant first, then others. Soon we started dancing, I did several dances before dinner with assorted partners. We did a couple of line dances after dinner, before going back to ballroom dancing. Some were swing dances, and a few showed me a little, so I'm beginning to learn a swing dance or two, which is great. I love variety in dancing. We several more dances, with a slow waltz at the end. My home nurse arrived just after the end. I guess he remembered from the last time that we really do end at eight. He took me home. {Smile}

Also, I got a new vanilla tea. It tastes good. I discovered when I read the label that it has stevia in it. It might be giving me some gas, but I hope to keep it under control with moderation. It would be nice to have an artificial sweetener that I don't have to avoid completely. Saccharine bitter, not sweet to me. Equal causes migraine attacks. Splenda drives my blood sugar up worse than sugar. I'm hoping Stevia won't be too bad. {Smile}

After breakfast, I read articles on the web. Then I began writing up Friday's daily update. I took a break to read a comic on the web, and another to play a little Cross Stitch World, but I mainly kept at writing up Friday's daily update, finishing a little before lunch. Then I played a good bit of Cross Stitch World right through lunch. After lunch, I began writing this up. Next, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I checked on my friends who play the game. After that, I did some of the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on the character Kitten designed. Then I finished up a hunt on the same character. Next, I wrote a little more of this.  After that, I began talking with Nox on Discord, the chat server. I messaged Dr. Faustus there, too. Then I began working on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting. Next, Dr. Faustus came on, and we teamed up. We started a villain story arc on the higher-level teen supergroup member, or rather a vigilante one. One mission in, Pierogies joined us. We did a few more missions together, until it was time for me to leave for the party. {Smile}

When I got home after the party, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming and checked on my friends who play the game. Then I did a long stint of auction house, storage and crafting, after which I checked on my friends who play the game again. This time, I spotted Dragons and said hi. They invited me to some winter missions with a friend. I did one on my sixth-best badge collector and got two badges. Not expecting more for her, I did the next on my seventh best badge collector. Then Dragonz's friend left, and we did one more winter mission. Next, Dragons invited me to sit in a mission while I made notes in this for what hadn't been written about yet. Those notes really help me finish writing it the next day. I also talked with Dragons and the others in the game. When most of the notes were done, I did one mission with them, then said goodbye. Then I finished my notes in this before I said the Lord's Prayer and read Forward Day by Day to close my evening. {Smile}

Daily Update, December 12, 2025

On Friday I started to research Patreon and Kofi, two services that help artists, writers, and other creative people connect to fans, and even make income by offering things both through a shop, and through subscriptions to regular news, and early and exclusive items. I'm wondering about using them to host some stories or other writing, but I really want to hear what others think of this idea first. Would anyone care to comment? {Smile}

Also, two webcomics suddenly restarted today. I've really missed Birds of Haven (GL) | WEBTOON while it's been mostly on hiatus for a couple of years, only having announcements and one-off side-comics unrelated to the main storyline a few to several months apart. It's great to read a real episode again. Hearing they plan to continue is even better. I've also really missed A Spell for a Smith | WEBTOON, which has been on complete hiatus since mid-March. No updates or side-comics, until we got the next episode. I need to back up and reread both to get back into them properly; it's been that long. {SMILE}

After breakfast, I watched videos and read articles and some comics on the web, including Birds of Haven. I also played Cross Stitch World right into lunch. Then after lunch I wrote up Thursday's daily update before I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I started working on the in-game auction house, storage and crafting on a few different characters. I concentrated on stuff I'd saved for the weekend, when the auction house tends to be more lucrative. I also got to some stuff I'd accidentally skipped. I took a break to do a winter trial on my second-best badge collector. She got this year's new badge from it easily. Next, I went back to the in-game auction house, storage and crafting until it was time for my villain supergroup meeting. I picked my higher-level member and got there on time. Dr. Faustus, the leader, and one other member also came. We roleplayed the whole time. I switched to my lower-level member after a while. Eventually the villain supergroup meeting broke up. I also chatted with Pierogies and Dennis in the game, and Nox on Discord. After the meeting, I went back to doing the in-game auction house, storage and crafting until dinner. {Smile}

After dinner, I played a little Cross Stitch World before going into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I started with the in-game auction house, storage and crafting. Then I checked on my friends who play the game. Next, I started to hunt by myself on the character Kitten designed. That stopped when Dennis said hi. He offered to join me, but I asked for his help with missions instead. We did two or three missions in a story arc before he went to bed. Then I went back to hunting by myself until Dragons said hi. We teamed up with me on the same character and did three missions from a different contact. Then I stopped for the evening, saying goodbye. I did the in-game auction house, storage and crafting all that play produced, plus a little that had developed from before. Then I made notes in this, taking a break to play Cross Stitch World, and another to read some comics on the web, including the second one that's been on hiatus. I also browsed an article before finishing these notes. I ended my evening by saying the Lord's Prayer and reading Forward Day by Day. {Smile}
