Saturday was the Fourth of July, so if you celebrate that, I hope you had a good one. It also means I missed Canada Day, which I don't celebrate but I know friends who do, so if you do, I hope that day went well, too. If you celebrate neither, I hope you had a nice day each time. {SMILE}
The night before Saturday, I was surprised when I realized I was getting to bed a few minutes after 2 am. I thought I'd done better and can't quite figure out where the time went. I just have to keep working harder at getting to bed earlier, I guess. {smile}
After lunch, my main nurse and I went out. We stopped first at the popsicle stand and were very glad we did. The lady told us she was closing up after us. I got the last chocolate fudge popsicle, and didn't see many other flavors to choose from, though there were a few, so it might have been running low on supplies. I hope she was closing early because holiday business was good. While I ate my popsicle, my main nurse drove to Prince Kuhio Plaza. e walked all the way around. Without tables on display, the aisles were more open. There also were fewer people. My main nurse even commented about that. I figured they were all having picnics such at beaches and other parks. We made it around more quickly than usual. Then my main nurse took me home. I read _Demon Slayer: Kietsu no Taiba: Sighs from the Wind_ on the way down and the way back but decided when we were nearing home that I'd read enough of that book. When we got home, I put it with another book I'm ready to return. {Smile}
I had breakfast with my main nurse and read Forward Day by Day. After breakfast, I went onto my computer. I started out reading articles and comics, then shifted to writing up Friday's daily update around lunch. After lunch and writing came our trip out. When we got back, I got back onto my computer. I checked Discord, and found a note from Kitten, who seemed excited to play with me, so I dashed into City of Heroes: Homecoming. I said hi to Kitten and Pierogies and found out exactly what Kitten wanted to play to get a particular type of badge. I started to suggest an alternate that my Ana Marcelino need, but Kitten wanted fast, and they'd picked the fastest alternative, and already set it up. So I found a character who needed the badge they wanted, and we ran it. Pierogies said hi and joined us after a mission, and we all got the badge at the end. Then we talked a bit, because it was too close to my dinner to do much else. This included saying goodnight to Pierogies. Next, I had dinner with my main nurse and the fireworks show he had on the TV. The color of fireworks on TV these days is even better than when Dad decided they'd improved the color enough for TV fireworks to be worth watching, {Smile}
After dinner, I went back to my computer and City of Heroes: Homecoming. I found Kitten in a group doing high-level, individual missions I joined them. When we finished, we did the end of a high-level story arc but didn't quite finish the last mission. Then we did several timed, high-level individual missions. After a few of them, Dr. Faustus said hi. Our team was full, but they joined when we had a spot after a couple more. We did a couple more with Dr. Faustus in the group. Next, Dr. Faustus and I left to roleplay together while Kitten left because they were too tired. I got Peony, one of my Hobbits who is mid-level currently. Dr. Faustus got a character not too far from her in level who she knows, not that we did anything where level matters. Dr. Faustus's character needed to talk, and Peony was willing to listen. Eventually we wound down. I began writing this up, pausing to shop on Amazon, where I took advantage of a sale. After writing a bit more in this, I closed windows, watching one video, then concentrated on making notes in this without interruption. Then I checked Cross Stitch World and played a little of it. I ended my evening with the Lord's prayer, Saint Francis's Prayer, and the motto of the Daughters of the King. {Smile}
