On Sunday I got up only 20 minutes before I usually do instead of 30 because the night before I forgot to reset my alarm. However, I tried to get ready as quickly as feasible. {Smile}
After breakfast my main nurse took me to church. I played Cross Stitch World on the way down. We arrived in the middle of the sermon, which felt good after I got up late. The service was nice. I sat with my main nurse because Auntie Barbara was out on the lanai teaching Sunday school along with her new assistant. She had three siblings with their baby sibling watching. They're a new family to our church who inspired Auntie Barbara to restart Sunday school early, before her trip. She said later that the oldest is 14 - "really too old for Sunday School," so her assistant - a professional teacher - got him helping teach the younger ones who are older elementary age. {Smile}
After the service we had lunch on the lanai. I sat with my main nurse for the main course and Auntie Barbara for dessert, along with the gal who's been directing my discernment for Daughters of the king. I mentioned other concerns in relation to preparing, and she suggested taking those as they come. The evangelism and service commitments don't specify daily like the prayer commitment. Then she contacted our deacon. They're beginning to arrange to have my vows and most of the officers' swearing in soon. We're hoping for next week or the week after. {Smile}
After lunch, I went with Auntie Barbara to visit Charlotte. This time both Charlotte's cat and Mandy, her daughter who cleaned our house for many years, came in for much of the visit, which was a very nice and friendly one. Then Auntie Barbara took me home. {Smile}
At home, I hopped on my computer and played some Cross Stitch World. Then I browsed the web before I wrote much of my daily update. When I lost steam, instead of browsing the web some more, I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming and started checking the auction house on different characters. I dropped that when Kitten said hi to team up with them. We cleared out four or five dens of bad guys in a row, which seemed a lot. I looked it up later, and it's supposed to be only two missions, but somehow the game got stuck on repeating them because that was at least three extras on top of the two. Eventually we finished, and I think we did one different mission before Kitten went quiet like they'd fallen asleep. After hours of playing, that wasn't too surprising for Kitten. I finished writing my daily update and shared it right before dinner. {Smile}
After dinner I browsed the web, played Cross Stitch World, and read a couple of web comics. Then I remembered to read Forward Day by Day. I did so twice, as is becoming my habit, because I understand more if I read it more than once. Then I went into City of Heroes: Homecoming where I found a note from Dr. Faustus saying they'd only have a couple of hours to play, and that was a while ago. I contacted them immediately and we finished the story arc we started last night on the same characters. Then we said goodnight. After that, I worked with storage, the auction house, and crafting. I also worked on badges a bit. Then I played some Cross Stitch World and wrote a little of the story for my creative writing class. Next, I made notes in this. I finished the evening reading web comics before bed. {Smile}
